I ordered a rum & coke and my friend ordered a beer. When I tell you my drink was worth every bit of $4 and strong it hit all the feels. Our bartender was great and the customer service top tier and he was very attentive. I happy to see that's they now have Karaoke and it's 3 days a week. So, I will definitely be back.

After enjoying glasses of chardonnay at nearby Luna Lounge (please reference my review if…read moreinterested), my wife and I headed to The Blind Pig to enjoy a few cocktails. Upon entering, we were greeted by a friendly bartender by the name of Ronny. Our first round consisted of two dirty martinis (my new drink of choice), which Ronny put his fist (that's a good thing) into making. One of the things that I love about dive bars is the various demographics that usually frequent them (along with their interesting conversations). For our second round we ordered a "Manmosa (yes I know that sounds ridiculously machismo in 2024)" that Ronny insisted on putting a fruity spin on. Not only were we thankful for his suggestion, but his version was GOOD! In real dive bar-like fashion, Ronny provided us both with an extra cup to house the remainder of the Manmosa that could not fit into our glasses (another dive bar perk). As we sat at the bar, my wife and chatted while lightly watching the movie Step Brothers on one of the televisions. Although it was a fairly slow Saturday afternoon, I can imagine that this place gets pretty lively in the latter part of the night though. We observed lots of seating, games, and an area for karaoke (toasted karaoke is the best!). I highly recommend The Blind Pig if you're looking to have deliciously strong drinks at a price that won't have you waking up the next morning rethinking the decisions that you made the previous night!

The gentleman working the bar was attentive, friendly, and clearly knows what he's doing. Every drink was incredibly well-made, creative, and delicious. You can tell there's some real thought and skill going into the bar program. The vibe is also fantastic. Cool, laid-back decor with some awesome portraits of a few absolute GOATs on the walls--Dave Chappelle, Anthony Bourdain, and others. Definitely gives the place some personality and makes it feel like somewhere you actually want to hang out. I didn't get a chance to try the food this time, but I cannot wait to come back for the veggie burger. If the cocktails are any indication of the quality coming out of the kitchen, I'm expecting to be very happy. Great drinks, great atmosphere, and clearly a place that knows how to do things right. Already looking forward to my next visit.

When our food came out, the fish was small which was very disappointing! For $16.50 a plate, I did expect better. It was good though. If you're not online, this place would go unnoticed but shoutout to the birthday boy, my friend, as he has been here before and talked about it a lot. The wait is over and I must say I've been missing out. Hidden from street view, this spot has a great outdoor patio space. Skeptical we had a table there because we were eating during peak triple digit heat, but the space had everything to ensure guests were comfortable. Ceiling fans that actually work and water misters that didn't leave a wet mess. Incomes the drinks and food. Happy hour always makes me happy. Snagged a lager and brisket tacos. One could say it looks basic and nothing special but boy is it flavorful. Decently sized chunks of brisket. Nothing melt in your mouth but had that softness that made it easy to chew. The pairing of the sauce was nice to balance out the saltiness of the meat. Grab them tissues cause it's a juicy one. A bit pricey, $12 for 2 tacos but def a nice splurge. Down to business. Burger choice for my first visit, definitely not the last, was The Peach Pit - that double patty, rosemary aioli, bacon crumbles, Swiss cheese, spinach, and our house made peach chutney, served on a toasted brioche bun. Solid choice. The beef was juicy, cooked to my liking (surprised they didn't ask how we liked ours cooked). The cross section of the burger is elite. Layers of ingredients adding to the flavors of each bite. I'm a sucker for Tabasco sauce so I couldn't really taste the peach chutney, but I do remember what I believe was a peach slice fall out of the burger. 10/10 would recommend. Just be prepared to use the napkins. It's a sauce/juicy one. Fries were standard. Crisp, fresh. My friends ordered other burgers that looked good. I was able to try some of the garlic fries and pesto sauce. Rich and tasty. Trust. I will be back for their burgers sooner than later. Who is with me? Let's gooooo! Come here on a special day and you may get a birthday card as well! Great effort Brahma!
