I've been here a handful of times, and it's quickly become one of my favorite local spots. Their happy hour is fantastic--I especially love the fish tacos, shrimp tacos, and their cocktails. They also have a whiskey club, which is a fun touch, and one time we happened to come during trivia night, which made for a great atmosphere. Whether you want to grab a drink at the bar, enjoy the outdoor patio, or have dinner with friends, it's a great place to get together. We originally went to Lazy Dog but it was much too crowded. We ended up at Eureka which was a cute bar/restaurant. We were seated quickly service was pleasant. The drinks were good and I think their drinks are the major draw of this place. The food choices are mainly to complement the drinks. We ordered the korean bbq frachos (think nachos but with fries) and the ribeye Philly cheesesteak. The fries on my dish were fried perfectly and they would be good even on their own. The cheesesteak was too dry and needed more cheese, sauce or both. That said, I would try visit again and try other items on their menu if I was in the area. We arrived excited to try this place, we had made a reservation weeks before. When we walked inside the hostess told us we were going to be seated outside, when we made the reservation it didn't give us an option to sit inside or outside but normally most places seat you inside. It was 104 degrees out and we were confused as to why we would be seated outside. She said we'd have to wait 20 minutes for a table inside but we had a concert to get to and that wasn't going to work for us so we sat outside. Shortly after we were seated, I got up to use the restroom and walked past the hostess stand and she was talking about the situation that occurred with our table, completely inappropriate and rude. My mom, sister, and I brushed it off because we wanted to enjoy our night. We ordered drinks, chicken nachos, fried pickles, salads and the fish tacos. A year later and still 5 stars! My son and I were in Roseville for a volleyball tournament and I recalled last year when Lazy Dog appeared busy, we checked out Eureka and enjoyed it more! My kids think reviews are silly, but I looked up my review from last year and let my son know what he ate and then he remembered.. we are pretty boring and pretty much ordered the same thing: BBQ Bacon Burger with side of Mac n Chz Balls American Burger sub veggie burger with Onions Rings Root Beer Happy Hour Wild Child Bourbon Barrel Cake The service is top notch here. We were greeted promptly upon arrival while I was reminding my son where we sat, what we ordered etc and the hostess likely overheard and put us in the same spot back in the corner away from large crowds. The place is so open without solid walls to the outdoors but still cool with the AC... perfect after a long drive. Our server Tyler was very attentive and there for anything we needed without being over bearing and always so pleasant. We really appreciated the great service and the great food as it's hard to come by at most chain restaurants. We will continue to return here every time we pass through Roseville. UPDATED REVIEW! My husband and I visited Eureka! again to grab a drink and an appetizer before dinner last night. We stopped in for takeout back in 2020 so this was the first time we ever actually dined in. We sat at the bar and ordered a Strawberry Lychee Martini, Old Fashioned and some Fried Pickles to share. I wasn't a big fan of my drink, it was just too sweet for me, but the Fried Pickles were good - not greasy and the perfect amount of crunch. I would order these again! The interior was nice and open - they also had a really nice patio area that was pretty packed at 5:30pm when we got there. They have happy hour until 6pm too! The bartenders were friendly and attentive! I would definitely like to come back again and actually try one of their meals - they had a lot of good stuff on their menu! Check it out! read more

We have been wanting to try this place forever HUGE disappointment!! The worst service restaurant I have been too from the time I walked in - meeting the person at the door - I was ready to turn around and walk out when he wanted to tell me a booth for 6 was fine when I'm looking and seeing NO it's too crowded what a jerk . We sat for over 15 minutes before anyone even came to the table . Took forever for our drinks , food was not good . My Caesar salad was the worst I had as it was like eating just lettuce with 3 croutons and not sure where parm cheese was . Bottom line I would not go back here if I was paid to . My husband and I visited Eureka for the first time on a Wednesday evening, and we had a wonderful experience. We made reservations, though it turned out they weren't necessary since the restaurant wasn't very busy. From the moment we arrived, the service was excellent. Our server, Luke, was attentive, personable, and made some fantastic recommendations. His guidance definitely enhanced our dining experience. I would describe Eureka as an American restaurant with a subtle Asian and Caribbean flair. I ordered the Fig Burger with truffle fries, and the fries were the standout for me--I absolutely loved them. The burger was flavorful, and everything was well prepared. I also enjoyed a cocktail that was perfectly balanced while still packing a punch (and I appreciated the warning beforehand!). The flavors throughout the meal were spot on. My husband took advantage of the happy hour menu and ordered an Old Fashioned, which he thoroughly enjoyed. To top it all off, the staff surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate our first visit, which was a thoughtful touch and left a lasting impression. Would have been a higher rating but no where on the menu online or in door dash did it indicate the normal side of fries that came with my burger were truffle fries. I am allergic to mushrooms so I can't eat fries with truffle oil, so instead of being a burger with fries my takeout dinner ended up just being just a burger. Thankfully I realized the issue before eating the fries, and it doesn't seem like my burger was contaminated. Thankfully my allergy causes a mild reaction, but it could have been very dangerous for someone with an allergy that causes a more serious reaction. I ordered a delightful cocktail while waiting for my food to be ready. I really would have rated this place higher if they had provided accurate information on the menu. I am sure I could have requested the fries without truffle if I'd known that was the standard preparation. read more

I travel often and Eureka! is my favorite kind of restaurant. Good beers on tap, decent menu, good service, sports on TV, and lot's of bar seating. I especially like this location because one side of the bar is open to the patio, so when open you get some fresh air. I've eaten at this location three times and I've only tried the Steak Frites. The first time was perfect: nice fat free medium rare steak, and the fries had soaked up some of the steak fat and chimichurri sauce! Wow that was yummy. The second time all was good except the steak was like an end piece, it had a lot of fat and gristle which was a bummer because you first had to inspect each bite. And the third time the cut was perfect but way overcooked. Shoe leather! Was no fun to eat. Two out of three is not good results so next time I think I'll try something else. read more

Had the El Pastor Tacos with the Mac and cheese balls. 3 good size tacos are on the plate with lots of taco toppings. They were ok. The fish was grilled perfectly but needed some seasoning. The lunch special was great ($13 for one) for about 5 of their main dishes. My boyfriend got the Eureka! American from it and chose the French fries as the side. Big patties for both of us (I got the Black and Blue) mushroom burger. Service became a bit slow towards the end of the meal (1:40 PM on Friday) but it seemed to be a result of the end of the lunch rush. Recently visited this place for the first time all the way from Pacifica, CA. All I have to say is the food is amazing with good portions and well seasoned. I had a Cobb salad with a side of garlic fries and they were delicious. The service was great and our waiter was very attentive kept coming back asking if we needed anything else. Charley took care of me today and deserves 5 stars for service as it's probably the best I've ever received at a Eureka in the 3 cities I have dined in. The food caught me by surprise as the items are different than others I've been to. Sweet potato fries were cooked well but I'm so used to them having honey every bite felt off without the honey. We decided to celebrate a birthday with friends there, but unfortunately it turned into a very disappointing experience -- we will never go back. The food was actually good, but the customer service was one of the worst I've ever experienced. We gave them our cake to store in the fridge, and after we finished eating, we were waiting for them to clean the table and bring it out. The staff kept walking past us over and over again and didn't do anything until we finally had to ask. Even then, it took a long time for them to clear the table. Before cleaning anything, they brought us the bill, even though we were not ready to leave -- we were still planning to have our cake. At times, it even felt like the waiters were walking by and laughing at us, which made us very uncomfortable. Later, we wanted to take a few group photos and asked a waitress to help. She took them in about 3 seconds without even asking if we were ready. The women's restroom was also very dirty -- there was rust where you wash your hands, the mirror looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week, and there were no paper towels. Overall, a very unpleasant experience. We left feeling disappointed, and I definitely would not recommend this place. read more

She let us know about the special she had that day and let us know that if we had any questions to let her know. To drink we ordered a beer and Bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was really good with just the right amount of spice. For lunch we had a protein bowl and Grilled Chicken wrap. The protein bowl had lots of good flavor to it like avocado, tofu, beans and tomatoes. It was very filling. This place is amazing and I can't rave enough about the delicious food. We discovered this gem in the Bay Area and thrilled when we saw Roseville has a location. Our server was attentive and friendly. This is the perfect date night spot. We always order drinks and apps. We went for a late night dinner and grabbed burgers and a salad and this place is pretty neat. The concept is really cool. The indoor/outdoor atmosphere is really nice. Unfortunately it was cold outside so we picked inside and it was a literally freezing in there. My whole family was shivering the whole time so we rushed through eating. The food was alright. I will have to come back when it's warmer so I can give it another try because I was so miserable the first time. The salad came out without chicken and I watched my husband and son eat for a while and then our server fixed it by throwing some chicken on top. Edmon was hands down the highlight of the night. From the moment we sat down, he had a great attitude and made everyone feel welcome without being over the top. You can tell he actually knows what he's doing behind the bar, every drink came out quick and tasted exactly how it should. What really stood out was how he handled the rush. Even when it got busy, he stayed calm, kept checking in on us, and never made us feel like we were waiting. He's the kind of bartender that keeps the energy up and makes the whole experience better. Our Valentine's Day dinner plans thwarted and we needed to think quickly as we had a concert later in the evening..Eureka! to the rescue! I walked in and asked the host, Tyler, if there was room to feed two more hungry patrons. Tyler replied, "Absolutely, come right this way." We were thrilled! I've dined at another location in the past but this was my hubby's first time. Indecisive, I asked Tyler to share his favorite apps and tasked are amazing server Lucas, with helping us determine our dinner entree. For apps we enjoyed brussel sprouts and frachos and for dinner we had the Fresno fig medium well. The verdict? 10's across the board! The Brussels were served in a little bath of orange chili sauce that was INcredible. The frachos? OMG! The steak was tender, well seasoned, crispy potatoes with hot, creamy insides, and sauce drizzle and the "bite" from the jalapeno heat? Listen, get there nowwww! The apps were so good we told the patrons next to us (formally our new friends..we are meeting for dinner next month lol) get the Brussels and the Frachos! The Frachos are limited time to again, get there on the asap! The Fresno fig was all the things...check, check, check! Taste, temperature, texture, it's all there! The lovely balance between the fig marmalade and the goat cheese atop a perfectly cooked burger (see the money shot in the pics!), absolutely UHmazing! Sadly (insert tears), the house made "flight" never left the ground. Ginger lime soda, passion fruit lemonade, strawberry limeade, watermelon hibiscus...every single one was tasteless. Our service was so phenomenal I wasn't going to say a word. I mustered up the courage and told Lucas the truth. He quickly removed the drinks and asked the bar to remake them..much to our continued bewilderment the improvement was very mild. I was sad and decided to let it go. Not to be defeated, Lucas insisted we try the peach sweet tea. Same results. By now Lucas and are I besties in my head so I said, "Lucas, I am not a problem child and I don't need you thinking I'm crazy...will you please go try a ample of the tea..I wish I was making this up." Lucas apologized and asked if there was anything else we could do and we told him it's ok. Lucas had gone way beyond delivering consummate; his efforts alone was worth our leaving it be. We were seated at the patio and had two large tvs to watch with football and baseball playing. There was a fire pit that kept the outside seating area perfect and cozy. I wanted my first review of 2025 to be good but unfortunately this isn't the case. ...after a quick Yelp search "Sunday Brunch Roseville ", Eureka Restaurant came up. It had above average reviews so I thought "let's try it". The crowd was light and the ambiance was clean upon entering. The host was very welcoming and accommodated us right away. Our server was nice as well. It was the food and drinks that were the most disappointing. One major issue was that they did not have a brunch menu. Eureka only offers two breakfast options. One being a breakfast burrito and another egg meal. Their signature drinks, like the Lavendar Ice Tea and Blueberry Smash (-I think that was the name-mocktail) were gross. They lacked flavor. The Blueberry Smash tasted like a concoction of sugarless seltzer and apple cider vinegar. Out of all four of our meals, the only person that enjoyed their meal was the person that ordered the breakfast burrito and sweet potato fries. A while back this used to be my spot. I would come here for a good burger and some appetizers, but this time I was completely disappointed in the level of cleanliness. First, our waitress Marianna was really nice and I want to acknowledge that. But then she went on break and left us with our waiter, Tayezion, who was extremely busy. I do not understand how they could be so busy when the restaurant was absolutely filthy. Employees were going in and out of the kitchen but never doing anything to clean, not even wiping down a table that a family had left over an hour earlier. There was still food on the floor and things left on the table. Trash was all over the ground in the kitchen and the trash bins were full and overflowing. I saw more than six employees walking around doing nothing. At one point, I believe I saw the manager. He had on regular clothes, which is how I could tell he was the manager. He was going in and out of the door and before heading to the patio he grabbed a dirty, wet rag and started cleaning tables with it. It was disgusting. Then it got even worse. A waiter came from the back and dropped a gingerbread ice cube on the ground. He picked it up, walked to the back of the bar to throw it away, and then wiped his hands on his shirt instead of washing his hands. It was unbelievable. I even told a couple sitting in the next booth that they should not eat the food. I was able to get a clear picture of the kitchen and showed them what it looked like. They had just gotten their food, but after seeing the picture they decided to ask for the check and leave. On top of everything, my burger was terrible and cold. I could not even complain because Tayezion was running around trying to keep up. I ordered the bone marrow burger for $22 and it was absolutely not worth it. My husband's burger was tasteless and it did not look like a $19 burger at all. I am extremely disappointed that I ate there. I believe in paying for my food, but I did not tip this time. I normally would, but this was unacceptable. I will never be back. Please do not eat at this restaurant. read more

We came into Eureka and overall it was a mixed visit. The fried pickles were okay, nothing too special and could have been a little crispier + the dip was not very impressive. The cheeseburger itself was good but the fries were a letdown this time as they came out cold which was surprising since they are usually hot, crispy, and really good. The mac and cheese balls stole the show as always. Perfectly crispy, cheesy and the ranch dip is amazing!! They never disappoint! The kids cheeseburger was straightforward and exactly what you would expect. Service, however, really stood out today in not the best way. The host was friendly and welcoming but our waitress seemed distracted and a bit unprepared. She forgot my drink and even my daughter's meal which set things back and when the food finally did come out there was no effort to check in or make things right. It almost felt like she was either new or just not very attentive. I do love the outside seating and this is one of my regular spots but today felt a bit lazy compared to the usual standard. First off, when we entered the restaurant, we weren't sure if we went in the correct entrance. It felt more like a to-go order pick up station, but no, it was the actual restaurant. Our server was friendly and attentive. The specialty cocktail I ordered was balanced and beautifully presented. The food was problematic...Portions are super small for the price, and the quality is lacking. Salads have minimal toppings (I counted one pecan half in my entire salad) over a single layer of lettuce. Fish and chips consists mostly of greasy breading over sad little bits of "fish" and a little pile of meh fries. $16 peanut butter pie à la mode is a sliver, barely enough for sharing. Won't be back. There's a ton of competition in Roseville. Choose wisely. read more
