    Beet salad + shrimp
    Nick N.

A place that I have been meaning to try for a while but never got to it....and finally we're here. I would have tried something else but I had literally just gotten done eating an entire pizza 4 hours prior so I got the beet salad cause I'm healthy or something. I opted to spend $6 to get 3 pieces of shrimp bc I'm ballin out of control. For $21, I would have expected more than just arugula, 3 pieces of shrimp, and 2 beets but here we are. The wife got the burger done medium. Medium is pink all the way through in case youre wondering. The meat must be ground in-house bc it had 3 or 4 big pieces of grissle/hard cartilage... I don't mind the cartilage in the grind, but this needed to be ran through again in a finer die. Fries are like In-N-Out fries....except they're good and dont need to be ordered light well. Fresh not frozen. Sodas are $3 and canned, no refills. No bang for the buck. Some positives, some negatives. Would I come back.....eh... maybe. 3 stars.

Made reservation for Valentine's Day Dinner. Ali was our Server. She was super attentive and made sure we were enjoying our evening. Our dinners were amazing and the cocktails were delish.

We were super excited to try range, kitchen and tap. Diners tip: make reservations. They do take walk-in diners, but this is a smaller restaurant, and if you're dining during typical dinner hours, a reservation will help. We were greeted by a server, not a seating hostess. There were no signs of tables being marked with the reservation card, Syd almost seemed silly to have preemptively made a reservation, just to be seated pretty much wherever. As it turned out, the server that seated us, apparently was the server for the entire restaurant. Yep, one server for an entire restaurant with tables that were filling up with multiple sized parties. Maybe she's one of the owners, or maybe she's just a very overworked server. In any case, it was obvious that she was trying to keep it together while serving all of the tables. Well, I feel for her situation, the Service across the board was not great. We had to specifically say we wanted to order an appetizer and drinks, and being able to do that wasn't offered to us. It pretty much felt like place your order and let's keep moving. We ordered the artichoke and boar dip. Best choice on the menu! The dip was served with seasoned pita. It was the perfect amount of pita, with the generous amount of dip. Please keep this on your menu! It's excellent across the board. Super tasty, and just one of the best appetizers that we've had as of late. Took quite a while for the server to come over and take our dinner order, and I had a few questions about some of the menu items, by the time she came to the table, I ended up settling for a burger. Not what I really wanted, in fact, we both ended up ordering burgers. One bison, burger, and one beef burger, served cowboy. The bison burger has an up charge of two dollars. The cowboy burger is supposed to be served with bacon, whiskey barbecue sauce, fried onions, and produce. Pictures are worth 1000 words, and I've now learned that sometimes things look better than how they taste. The beef burger tasted like meatloaf between two less than tasty buns. The whiskey, barbecue sauce, it might be made in house, but someone definitely needs to taste it before they serve it. It was bitter and did not help the burger. The fried onions were pretty much nonexistent , and the bacon was more on the underdone side, rather than on the done or even slightly crispy side. They all overall taste was really unappealing. The server came to check on us when it was time for her to drop off the check. So there was no way to really possibly correct the issues with both burgers. I was looking forward to a different type of dining experience, and it's sad that this isn't a restaurant that will be on our regular rotation.

Deviled eggs with bacon and jalapeño chips .. the variety changes.. so good

Loved the food and service. I am a meat eater and they always have a great variety in f beef, chicken and wild game. Salads too. I took some baked goods home for breakfast the next day. The blueberry muffins were moist and delicious

Amazing chicken bbq pizza. The bbq has a hint of wine flavor.

Service and ambiance is really really good. World class 5 star restaurant hidden in Roseville. The food is farm to fork, and everything is super fresh and delicous. Prices are very reasonable. Great place for families, meeting friends, a date, or just a good meal if you want to spoil yourself.

Cowboy burger - tangy and juicy not sweet- Came with whisky bbq sauce, fried onions, pickles, tomato, lettuce and cheddar cheese

In short: -Beautiful interior- rustic chic -Great friendly service -Non-traditional menu with upscale palette. I had an appointment in the area and my boyfriend was kind enough to drive me So I figured I'd take him out for an early dinner before we drove home. We arrived around 3:45pm which is apparently the time to come lol, because the dining room was refreshingly empty with only one table in the back taken. I wanted to try a pizza because the pictures had me drooling lol. We ended up ordering half the jalapeño popper pizza and half The Range pizza, which was the special- with peaches, goat cheese, mozzarella, prosciutto, arugula and balsamic. I just tasted a leftover piece at home and I think it tastes even better then fresh as the cheeses Solidified and flavors melded together fyi. The jalapeño popper pizza was better warm as the thin seasoned crispy crust tastes better that way. It came with perfect pickled jalapeños that were tangy with a bit of heat, pepperoni, good sized bacon pieces and a drizzle of ricotta cheese. Both were yummy with nice thin crusts seasoned with herbs and Parmesan at the edge The boyfriend wanted to try the Cowboy Burger sub bison for $2. It came with Whiskey barbecue sauce, fried onions, cheddar cheese, pickles, lettuce and tomato on a toasted brioche bun. It was good, not as sweet as expected more tangy from the bbq sauce and pickles. The bun did get soggy but it was still good. We shared both Everything was good, the fries that came with the burger were particularly good, with the perfect crispiness to softness ratio and a great seasoning blend! Yum, I'd come again and try a classic burger and those fries! Or try another unique pizza option The offer beer and wine offering from local brewery's. Gavin got a beer he enjoyed. We would gladly return if in the area again Thanks guys!

I randomly came across this place looking up lunch in Roseville, and I was intrigued by their beet salad. Not very many restaurants have golden beets available and they are my absolute favorite! I was picking up an order at the galleria so I figured I would stop by for lunch and I am so happy I did. It was empty as I guess they were closed on Monday's for the last 7 years! I of course opted for the beet salad with prawns and my LAWDDDDD was it everything I dreamed of and more!!!! Usually most restaurants use a yogurt dressing and it ain't it, but they use a lemon vinaigrette and it's absolutely amazing. I also chose the Wild Forager and I love that even though it's a mushroom pizza they add bacon because it's perfect! My server I believe was Avalon and she was great, she had a lot of recommendations and seems knowledgeable in their menu which I can appreciate it. I enjoyed a nice quiet solo lunch and will be backkkkk for that beet salad.

    Chicken and waffles

The Range is now doing brunch!! I love their dinner options and now they are a great spot for brunch! We ordered the chicken and waffles and the biscuits and gravy, and both were absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly cooked, the waffles were fluffy, and the biscuits and gravy were rich and comforting. Portions were generous, so you definitely get your money's worth. The bottomless mimosas were a perfect touch and kept the brunch vibes going. Overall, great food, great portions, and a really enjoyable brunch experience. Would definitely come back!

10/10/10/10/10 experience. The food is incredible. The place has a great vibe. The staff is incredibly friendly and kept checking on us to make sure we liked everything or if we needed anything. Would absolutely come back again. The jalepeno popper pizza was amazing. The artichoke dip was my absolute favorite. My brother got the range burger and the beer cheese sauce was to die for. Can't wait to revisit!

    Margarita pizza

My friend and I stopped in here on our drive back to the bay. We were immediately greeted at the door and welcomed in. Our server was lovely, a good balance of attentive but not overbearing. My friend is a vegetarian, and the server was kind enough to walk us through the options that could be made vegetarian. We ordered the deviled eggs to start (very decent) and then I got the pizza of the day, which was a loaded baked potato pizza! It was delicious - how can you go wrong with cheese, potato, carbs, bacon... delicious and filling! We also got the apple crisp to start. My friend didn't love it, but it was pretty tasty - baked and slightly crispy apples with melty ice cream!

Nice place, stopped here for dinner after an event in the area. It's located in a strip mall so plenty of parking. Our server was excellent, very attentive but not so much that it's annoying. The food: We ordered the deviled eggs as a starter and they were delicious. Then the pizza came, I ordered the Margherita, and it had sliced tomatoes on top of it. A classic Margherita doesn't have this so maybe this is just something this place does. Either way, too many tomatoes and not enough mozzarella or basil. We also ordered the apple crisp for dessert, this has room for improvement also. Instead of the usual streusel on top there was just some sadly undercooked oats. They also left the skin on the apples, which is fine if the apples were actually cooked through. There aren't actually a lot of vegetarian or vegan options, so don't bother stopping in unless you are okay with cheese and eggs.

    Elk Pops and Rosemary Lemonade

Had lunch today there. I tried the rosemary lemonade which was very tasty and fresh. Also tried the Elk Pops with homemade mashed potatoes, was tasty and delicious. Service from Lili was also great, very friendly and helped with recommendations. Ambiance also very comfy!

Bold flavors, expert preparation, pretty on the plate and generous portions. Bambie had the 1/2 chicken fried southern style. Crispy ouside, soft and moist inside. Side of mash potatoes, side of perfectly sauteed carrot slices. I had a cesar salad. Fresh, crisp, again a big portion. The dressing was a perfect blance of creamy, piquant and a tad peppery. The croutons were crisp and flavorful. Best Cesar salad that I've had in years. My main dish was the pork carnitas tacos. Topped with heaping mounds of shredded cabbage. Creamy sauce on the cabbage. A side of mild-ish chipotle salsa served on the side to pour on the carnitas. The tacos were so big that they were almost too unwieldly to hold. But I persevered and gobbled them like there is no tomorrow. Satisfying. A big hungry guy will be perfectly happy after polishing off the plate. Wine selection is small but has the usual good suspects in the reasonable price range. Mostly California wines. I live 2 miles from this place. Tonight was my first visit. Oh yeah I'll be a frequent return customer. Highly recommended.

Seeing as how its bulking season, I finally had a chance to give it a shot and boy am I glad I did. This is probably my new favorite breakfast spot. Its not perfect, but its still great. We got the Cooter's benedict...which isnt really a Benedict but more just biscuits and gravy. The sausage was surprisingly hand made! I couldn't believe it. Usually most places just give you pre-made Jimmy Dean's type of sausages. My wife doesnt like sausage in general and she actually loves the sausage here. The country potatoes are something that I skip almost everytime from every single breakfast spot, but for what is probably the first time ever, they were actually seasoned! Whatever person thought that just putting oil, onions, and bell peppers in a pan for a few minutes and the serving it should be castrated. The plate could have used more gravy, but the biscuits were so fluffy they basically fell apart and weren't dry and hard like some places. And you know how some places charge to split a plate? Not here! We also got the stuffed French toast which was just as great. The toast wasn't too eggy, plenty of scratch made whipped cream, and weren't skimpy on the blueberries either. Also wasn't overstuffed where all you could taste was cream cheese. I did try the homemade looking jam, but I would say its a bit concerning. I cant imagine them cleaning out the container after every table leaves and you never know what type of person before you is in the jar. All in all, this is the new default breakfast spot for sure.

The atmosphere of the place is delightful, very eclectic and fun, plus the restaurant is huge with multiple rooms and seating alternatives. The four of us chose a cozy booth near the cooker. The menu is quite extensive with lots of options. The primary fare is very much BBQ as one would expect. As per my previous review they also have some really wonderful New Orleans style cuisine, gumbo, jambalaya, beignets. I had my mind set on trying the BBQ and glad I did. It was truly delicious and good quality. I wouldn't say it was the best I ever had, yet it was right up there. Since we were there for lunch I gravitated to the lunch specials in back of the menu. Since I wanted to try a variety of the large number of choices I went for the "three meal" selection and chose the St. Louis ribs, the brisket and the chicken. Plus a side of baked beans which was included from the available choices. It comes on a utilitarian metal tray, condusive to making a sloppy mess. It also comes with a wonderful biscuit and special seasoned butter which definitely hit the spot. We ordered fried okra for an appetizer and it was a hit with everyone. Nicely sizzling hot, a bit greasy, but ever so good! Hey, no one anticipated a healthy meal coming here! Our friends ordered the gumbo too and we all couldn't resist a spoonful or two. YUM! Just as good as before and a good portion of it too. They have three sauces available at the table if you care to lather more on your stuff. I did, the hot sauce, which wasn't as powerful as I like, but good enough for a bit of kick. The brisket was tender and exceptional, the ribs very delicious, and the chicken, a large leg, was moist and cooked perfectly. For BBQ they know what they're doing, with the coating, cooking time and sauce. It all was very good and very filling. I was stuffed! For around $25. not a bad price either. Oh, the baked beans were fabulous, the best I've had in years. For a drink I had an Arnold Palmer which came in a huge Mason type jar. Loved it. For dessert we ordered the traditional beignets. I was only able to eat one. I believe six were in the order. For someone who's eaten innumerable beignets at Cafe du Monde and Morning Call in New Orleans these aren't the same size, yet just as good. The consistency is perfect and not over cooked. YUM! The service was very friendly and helpful, upbeat and made certain that everything was to our liking. One of the best parts is they give you a warm towel to clean up at the end. That was good for me as I started out intending to politely fork and knife it throughout but gave up soon after and ended up eating the ribs and chicken with my fingets making a sticky mess! Why not enjoy it? Overall a really nice experience. I will definitely go back and especially since I enjoy the unique atmosphere of the dine-in experience. Good job, Lucille!
