We went for a cocktail one early evening. The place was empty--we figured it was the time of the day. The bar is very nice. Stocked with premium liquors and lots of chairs to sit in. Kind of surprised not more folks were there. The speciality cocktails always disappoint me now a-days (unless at Josephine's!) so I won't judge on that, but the Pinot Grigio Scarpetta is very good!!! Last night, we decided to go back again for food. As mentioned, the bar is nice so we sat there. A Preferred spot. It's Not the best for 5'6 and under to eat at lol as the bar top a little higher than the chairs! But not a big deal. We ordered small bites so review is based on that. We did not have dinner. We had the soup of the day for starters which was a zucchini soup I believe. That was good! Nice flavor. We also ordered the artichokes dish and beet salad. Both small bites. That's where it went downhill. The beet salad appeared to be premixed ahead of time with the dressing. Why do I say that. Because the lettuce was wilted as though it had been sitting in the dressing too long! Haha Overall, the flavor of the dressing was good, and I liked nuts added, but wilted salad is not enjoyable. The beets were unique, as they had a type of creamed cheese (not cream cheese) in between the beets. I prefer just beets but it wasn't the worst. The wilted salad was the worst. Next the grilled artichokes. Not grilled and definitely not fresh. Came out of a can for sure! Watery. There was a pesto base on the bottom which was not necessary. Salty and took away the fresh (canned) flavor of the choke. It had sliced radishes which should have been pickled red onions instead for better flavor. In my opinion, But the sliced radishes were not consistently cut so some were big and others thin. It didn't go because those too felt a little "old." Flavor was not fresh and you know how a radish taste when it's not fresh. However, even if it was fresh, I just feel a pickled red onion would've been better. Total for 3 Glasses of wine, 2 soups, artichoke dish and the beet salad--$87. I guess stopping in for a cocktail is still Something I would do! Maybe try the soup again! But if small bites disappoint not sure how the main meal will fair out And at a higher price point. read more

Rose Park Bistro is my go-to spot whenever I'm visiting family in Lincoln, and once again, they delivered an unforgettable experience. From the moment we arrived, The hostess Alley recognized us and made sure we were seated at our favorite table in the back room by the wine cellar--a thoughtful touch that never goes unnoticed. Yakin was our server and struck the perfect balance of personable and knowledgeable, offering great suggestions throughout the evening. Our drinks and appetizers arrived promptly, each one perfectly crafted and beautifully prepared. The tuna tartare was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the bruschetta was honestly some of the best I've ever had. The gnocchi--pillows of pure goodness--could have easily been our entire meal. Portions were generous and everything was served at just the right temperature. Alex the manager stopped by our table to say hello and even offered a tour of the wine cellar after noticing we had brought a bottle to cork. We had a wonderful conversation about their Napa and Sonoma offerings, which added such a personal and elevated touch to the evening. Before we ordered our entrées, Chef Nick Novello came out to introduce himself. He took the time to talk about his menu and the seasonal ingredients he sources, which made the experience feel even more special. At his recommendation, we ordered the salmon--and it did not disappoint. It was a beautifully balanced, flavor-packed dish that truly stood out. This wasn't just dinner at RPB it was a full culinary experience. From the front of the house to the back the level of care and quality service is exceptional. I checked out Rose Park Bistro in Roseville last night for my best friend's birthday dinner. Rose Park Bistro is located on the outside of the Galleria and parking can be an issue during busy times. We made a reservation for 6:30pm and it was still very busy especially for a Sunday when we arrived. They seated us at a cozy table in a corner which felt private and intimate. I loved the interior - it was modern, but still felt inviting. There were tons of tables throughout and even a large eye-catching bar! I had a hard time deciding on what to order, but eventually landed on the Seafood Paella which I thought was pretty good. It was actually my first time having Paella and I didn't have anything to compare it to, but I do know it is supposed to have the crust on the bottom which it did not - it had more of a risotto texture. The rest of the table ordered the Pan Roasted Prawns, Char-Grilled Artichoke Hearts, Ribeye with Potatoes and Broccoli and Pan Roasted Half Chicken. Everyone loved their meals - 3 of us also ordered Dirty Martinis which were top-notch especially with the blue cheese stuffed olives! Heavenly! The restaurant also did a fun birthday celebration with a huge firework candle and a yummy raspberry cheesecake dessert for my best friend - on the house! My only complaint of the evening was our server - she was a bit rude at times and not just to us, but to another employee who was assisting her. She just was not very friendly and seemed to have a bit of an attitude whenever we asked her a question. We were not a fan and it almost affected her tip unfortunately. Overall, I really liked Rose Park Bistro - I would definitely come back next time I am in Roseville! December 20, 2025: 3rd re-visit since my 2024 review. Tuesday night dinner. My birthday! Impromptu reservation. Easily got a 5:30pm table. Servers were all gracious, friendly, efficient, nice. Timing for drinks and food was perfect. Fall salad with all the various ingredients was enjoyable. We shared. Each of our portions was plenty big. I got lamb chops. Bambie got branzino. Verdict? My bah-bah black sheep was tastier than the sea bass. Though the fish was fine enough. Drank glasses of red wine. Good labels, not too expensive. Satisfying. Surprise was the complimentary dessrt. Great food! We loved their pasta dishes. Perfect level of creaminess and full of flavor. Their roasted chicken was moist and great portion. Loved their appetizers as well, the artichokes with pesto, the beet salad and calamari were all delicious. We didn't care for their paella. It was still wet and mushy not the typical way of how we enjoy them. Service was also slow, they were busy but it took forever to place an order. I came in for Mother's Day dinner with my sister and her two children, and unfortunately the customer service was extremely disappointing from start to finish. We were seated on the patio, and the pacing of the meal felt rushed the entire evening. The appetizers and entrées came out with little to no spacing in between, making the experience feel unorganized rather than enjoyable. One entrée was brought out well before the other two dishes, and we then had to wait an additional seven minutes for the remaining meals to arrive only after we asked about them. It was strange and uncomfortable having one person sitting with their food while the rest of the table waited. What was most disappointing, however, was the lack of attentiveness from our server. Throughout the entire dinner, she never checked on our table once. We had to ask other employees for boxes and even for the check itself. The server neither delivered the check nor came back to pick it up two separate employees handled those interactions instead. On top of that, for it being Mother's Day, there was no acknowledgment whatsoever. Not even a simple "Happy Mother's Day," which felt especially disappointing given the occasion. Had the server checked in throughout dinner, I also would have gladly ordered another drink, but there was simply no opportunity because we were never attended to. Overall, the experience felt very inattentive and lacked basic hospitality and customer service. While the food itself was decent, the service completely took away from what should have been a special Mother's Day dinner. Worse $215 I've ever spent...and if it was up to me alone, i would have left a $0 tip. read more

I attempted to go to Rose Bistro but, upon entering in the establishment it was a huge disappointment to say the least. As myself and my 8 month pregant sister walk up to the counter we are told they don't take walk ins but we were more than welcome to sit at the bar. Quite inapproraite for the visbile disability. I proceeded to ask her if there were any reservations avaiable and the woman started scrolling on her Ipad as if she was looking for an answer. Instead she looked up at me and proceeded to say nothing. I gladly walked out of that establishment and will never be returning. I have heard nothing but negative commentary about this place and thought I would give it a shot. Maybe hire more respesctful staff would be my advice. read more

Our table was up against the wall, which isn't our favorite type of seating, but it still worked and didn't take away from the experience. The restaurant has a really nice, elevated style and the overall vibe felt modern and inviting. The music was a solid millennial-style playlist, which set a great tone for the night. It took a little while for us to get waters and a waiter to greet us. Once we got our server, they were attentive and everything moved smoothly. I forgot her name, but she took good care of us from that point on. We ordered drinks from their menu. My partner got the Oxacillin and I tried the Rose Park Old Fashioned with pistachio foam. The presentation was unique and both drinks were well crafted, though I'd probably stick to a traditional old-fashioned next time. For starters, we had the calamari and the Philly cheesesteak eggrolls. The calamari stood out big time, possibly the best I've had. It came mixed with fried green beans and onions, which added great texture and flavor. The eggrolls were very good too, though I do think one more piece would've matched the price better. Reminded me off the hamburger eggrolls from WDW Magic Kingdom. IYKYK. For our mains, I had the lobster bucatini and my partner ordered the mushroom risotto. The risotto was cooked perfectly, very creamy and balanced. The lobster bucatini had great flavor and a generous portion of lobster, which was appreciated. We ended with an affogato, which was a simple and delicious way to finish the evening. Overall, we were pleasantly surprised by how good our experience was. I had been wanting to try this place for a while now. I can finally cross it off the list but maybe add it to the regulars. I got the queen bee cocktail and it was pretty good. It was a bit on the sweeter side and and glass was extremely sticky but still decent. I got the papardelle pasta and the teriyaki steak. I liked my pasta. The teriyaki steak was a big hit. Their old fashioned with the pistachio foam was also interesting, I love the green furniture. The bathrooms however need something done in there. The ceilings I'm assuming used to have flowers or something on them. You go from being in a romantic vibe to what happened in here. Cute lunch or date spot for sure. read more

I have now had the pleasure of dining at Rose Park Bistro not once not twice but three delicious times. The GF and I were lucky to get the last two seats at an energetic happy hour with appetizing HH bites and a nice glass of wine. The bar is ahhhmazing! Off to the right as you walk in. You cannot possible miss it. The longest bar top I have ever encountered. Dramatic and classy. Trendy. And lots of fun. Lunch with three friends on another occasion. The meal was a standout. We were seated at a table for four in a sophisticated area of the restaurant. We were able to leisurely dine while enjoying conversation amongst ourselves. Mostly about how fantastic the food was! Lastly, a lazy Sunday early evening dinner outside on the patio. Sooo very relaxing with exceptionally well prepared food. One thing I know for sure. Customer service matches and is totally in sync with the high quality food items. Upper tier staff and service from walking in the door to dining and walking out the door. What a gem of a place. Beautiful decor, great atmosphere perfect for an intimate dinner or a business meeting. We started with calamari, didn't realize it had onions on it, which was kind of random. They offered to remake it and brought us a new one out however, at the bottom, we found two onions, but dinner and dessert were perfect, I mean perfect my wife had Lobster Bucatini and I had the Filet Mignon. Only the day before my reservation did the restaurant call to announce they would be offering exclusively a fixed three-course menu at $92 per person, excluding alcohol. This critical detail was never disclosed at the time of booking. Only offering a mandatory holiday menu and premium pricing with virtually no notice is, quite frankly, poor practice. By that point, obtaining another reservations was no longer realistically an option. The price itself is not the central issue. The failure lies in withholding essential information until the last moment. Transparency is a basic expectation in hospitality, especially for special occasions. We had tried the chef's appetizer at the Tower Bridge Dinner recently and knew we had to come and try the restaurant. It's always a tough decision to try a new place for a celebration and I was happy that it turned out to be a great choice. We started with the burrata on crostini, the big brother of the appetizer we tried, and it did not disappoint. Lots of yummy burrata and deliciousness, drizzled with a fig basalmic. A generous portion that we could have easily shared with another couple. For our main course, I had the mushroom risotto which looked small but was quite a good portion, perfectly cooked. My husband was torn between the filet mignon and the burger, which sounded amazing, but our waiter luckily steered him towards the filet and he loved it. A nice portion, perfectly cooked medium rare. When we checked in they came with a little sign that said happy birthday, which was a nice touch. And the final birthday dessert was served with an amazing flourish, a sparkler! My only feedback was that for dessert my husband wanted the sticky toffee pudding, and instead we got the chocolate lava cake. I don't know if that is their automatic birthday choice? It was good (plus free!) and he didn't want to complain, so we didn't say anything. It did bug me and I wish I had said something then - I am sure they would have fixed it and I would have happily paid for it. Speaking of paying, I thought the prices were very reasonable for this caliber of restaurant. Lately it feels like we can't have a fine dining meal for under $200 and this was well under that. The place itself is beautiful - certainly not what I expect from a Roseville strip mall restaurant. It had more downtown/Vegas vibes. This was an incredible and lovely place!! The food was amazing I started off with the Caesar salad and it was fresh crispy with the perfect amount of dressing a great start! I also tried out their filet I enjoy it medium well and it was cooked beautifully really tender juicy and packed with flavor! I really enjoyed the dish I could not get enough. I love the look of the bar and the dim lighting makes the experience feel upscale. I enjoyed the Seafood paella as my main, Calamari as an appetizer, and my partner liked the lamb chop. Portions were large. Personally, I felt that the paella was the best bang for your buck. Prices are fairly steep and the paella had a nice amount of shrimp, scallops, and mussels. Con - food was a little pricey and it was just okay to decent. I got the paella. It was a good size. However the taste and texture was ordinary. It wasn't particularly flavorful, I felt like it was a little moist. The seafood was a little overcooked. I had a taste of my other friend's dishes - roast chicken (okay), branzino (okay), lobster bucatini (pasta texture was good, but a bit salty). We were going to order the ravioli but at $22 for 3 pieces it seemed pricey. We received a complementary lava cake as it was one of the friend's birthday. This is an upscale restaurant in the busy Roseville Mall. It has terrific indoor seating options, even for larger groups. The booths are very comfy. The real showstopper is the bar area. It's massive and comfortable to sit at. The food is full of surprises. For example, there's a teriyaki skirt steak that's a must-have. It's not your usually wet teriyaki steak, but rather teriyaki marinaded and infused, which goes well with the mashed potatoes they give you. They also give you a bunch of fried onions which give it crunch and texture. There's a lobster pasta dish, a hamburger, and a filet mignon entree that are all worthwhile. Take a good look at the appetizers too. The Philly cheesesteak egg rolls are tasty with that dipping sauce they provide. Also the calamari is full of surprises--namely fried onions and green beans. One of the best calamari dishes I've had. The place gets busy and they close early, so if you push up against the close, you'll see the staff hustling to keep up. Made to perfection. After getting cocktails we got an appetizer of calamari to share. Fresh and only lightly breaded it was delicious and so well prepared. It came with a well made aoili and some onions and herbs to dress it up. We all loved it. For my entree I tried the Lobster Bucatini. Also, beautifully prepared and presented. It had a light red cream sauce and small prawns and peppers to mix in with it. The large lobster tail sat on top with the lobster meat extracted in the cut opening. It was very good quality lobster, yet I have had better. It was a bit rubbery and chewy. However, I wasn't about to complain as it was satisfying enough. The pasta itself was extraordinary. So fresh and absolutely top quality. I enjoyed the sauce with just a slight kick. I got a glass of white wine with it and it was perfect. We ordered two desserts, one chocolate and one pistachio. The pistachio knocked it out in being tops. OK, this place ranks at the top of the list for good restaurants in this area. I had the Mango mocktail which was tart and refreshing. My husband also ordered an espresso martini with dessert which was strong both in alcohol and coffee! Our Burrata on crostini appetizer was delicious- crispy, creamy, sweet, acidic - a wonderful combination of flavors. My husband ordered the short rib pasta and it was incredibly tasty. Homemade pasta, cream sauce and super tender short ribs. Also we had very attentive service throughout and felt very taken care of. Least best: I ordered the burger medium and it came medium well/almost well done. The flavor of the burger was yummy- in particular the bourbon bacon jam. The truffle fries were pretty standard - definitely needs something other than ketchup to dip. The key lime pie was a really small portion for $12. Really like three bites per person. Cocktails were tasty with a nice presentation; Fall That Glitters, a very tasty fresh spiced pear vodka drink, Grey Goose dirty martini up and the Rose Park Old Fashioneds were good with the delicious pistachio foam which was a great addition although the rye was a bit high-proof tasting for their taste.... The Rose Park burger was delicious... the teriyaki gorgonzola sandwich was really good but not much teriyaki flavor, a lot more gorgonzola noted... truffle fries were pretty good but not great... a dipping sauce would have been nicer instead of catsup... the brussel sprouts were delicious... key lime, salted caramel gelato and affogato were all good!....atmosphere and decor was nice... bathroom decor didnt match very well with the vibe which was a bit odd... we will definitely be back! read more

Ambiance is very pretty inside...however the reservation situation they got messed up. We waited an additional 30 min for a table and when asked about the confusion nicely mind you the hostess was beyond rude and not personable by any means. I would suggest working on this as that's the first thing a customer see's when entering an establishment. No greeting, no smile, just put off by their mistake. On to the next food takes forever to get to the table, it was good not great, we actually felt forgotten about a few times. Best part is the bubble cocktail that's about it. Let me just start by saying I love this place every single time we come here we always get consistency, which is great service with great food. The inside decor is beautiful and elegant. They have a nice happy hour at the bar area with different food items not on the menu . One of my favorite happy hour items is the Philly Cheesesteak Rolls which they just got added to their normal menu . They are delicious. So I picked this place for my b day dinner on 12/21/24 they went above and beyond with customer service . They added my name to the menu it said "Happy Birthday Aly" it was such a cute touch. My people surprised me with a special drink added to the menu just for us that said Aly's Drink it was the cutest thing . It was made with my favorite drink of choice the bartender created it . The attention to detail that happened on this day wow ! I had the best time ever celebrating my b day with friends and family . The owner would check up on us to make sure everything was going good he is so amazing. Just like our waiter Janessa she was so attentive and friendly . The food was amazing like always . They let us bring our own cake they even cut it for me and my guest and served it to us . Overall this is an amazing establishment. I highly recommend Rose Park for daily visits or a big celebration. So I had written to ask for reservation for our 21st anniversary through Yelp and got a reply within a couple hrs. However the response was asking for what date I wanted to celebrate and they would make our day extra special. It was what I thought to be very sincere. I was aware I was doing it very, very last minute as our anniversary was that day. I was excited but realized it was unlikely that we would be accommodated as it was the same day of my request. I did reply was explaining it was the same day and we understood if we were unable to be accommodated. I never heard back. I still have not heard back! I wrote on the 9th. I do understand that one gets busy. Fast forward, we will be coming back but based on our experience. Maddy will be the only request! This was hands down a review to our waitress and hostess. Maddy was our waitress and I later found out her little sister was the hostess. They are absolutely adorable and they both made our 21st anniversary the sweetest!! These girls go above and beyond. I loved how friendly and personable they both were. Maddy and her sister ( I feel so bad I don't remember her name) are the same age as our two daughters. It was just cute and we related to them. Maddy was the sweetest and by the end of the night we were joking about being their mom and dad for the night. Anyway, the food....was....amazing!!! We ordered the calamari to start and it was perfectly cooked with a sauce to die for. Just Perfect! My hubby ordered the skirt steak as Maddie had suggested. He wanted to order another serving. We suggest having portion options as my hubby is a man that can put it away and not gain an oz. lol I ordered the Lobster Bucatini. It was so flavorful and the lobster was cooked perfectly. It was a nice portion too. I of course ate the lobster first and the pasta and prawns I had to take home. It was so good but I was completely full. Made a reservation for 12:30pm on a Saturday for a party of 5. Arrived 15 minutes late but was promptly seated at a large table. Service was top notch and attentive, though we did have to ask for refills on our iced tea and coke. We had the burrata caprese, roasted shrimp, golden beet salad, skirt steak sandwich, seafood paella, and mushroom risotto. Kids ordered modified adult entrees of fried chicken sandwich and burger. The standouts were the caprese, salad, and risotto. We finished with the sticky toffee pudding and ricotta pistachio cake, both lovely in their own way. Saw a few celebrations go out with sparklers which the kids were intrigued by. We looked at the dinner menu, but the only differences were a lobster bucatini and lamb chops. Everything was cooked well, so I wish they had more options. Hopefully, they'll have seasonal items soon. read more

Worthy than 5 stars- from ambiance to service from YAL our waiter, to food!! Absolutely EXCELLENT!! Retired French chef husband and kids (having grown up w great food) VERY IMPRESSED!! From my fav- the light and gorgeous octopus seviche to their bucatini with short rib, blackened salmon, paella, and another pasta dish with fresh lobster- SPOT ON! The fresh salsa and desserts were great too! This little gem IS TOTALLY WORTH the visit! Perfect location at The Fountains in Roseville also!! On reviendra!!! read more
