Delicious food and great service!! Me and my partner came on a Sunday afternoon and there was a long waitlist (we were #21). It took us approximately an hour to be seated but it was expected for a Sunday afternoon. We ordered steak and eggs, lemon ricotta pancakes, a sweet sunrise, and a strawberry wake me up. The steak and eggs tasted sooo good. The pancakes were tasty as well just a little less sauce than i'd like as it makes the pancakes taste dry. Came here for brunch and had a mixed experience. We ordered the hash browns, but they were pretty underwhelming and honestly just okay. The standout was definitely the baklava pancakes. They were absolutely delicious and worth ordering! Unfortunately, the service wasn't great. We had a hard time getting help from our server and ended up asking someone else to assist us. I had the Pantry Combo which comes with two eggs, potatoes and a choice of side. I chose the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes ($3 upchqrge). The pancakes were really good although I'd have liked a wedge of lemon in the side to squeeze fresh lemon juice on them. The potatoes were laced with onion and pepper which I like, but the oil had a spice in it which was burned and had a bitter edge to it. I ordered the fresh-squeezed orange juice which was good. This place was recommendations from friends that lives in the neighborhood and would frequent the place. It was quite busy when we arrived which was mid week. Guess they're doing well. It did take a while till we got seated on the patio. There's both inside as well as a nice decent size patio seatings. Tables did have covered umbrellas to help with the sun. You have your traditional dishes and some other fancy dishes. I feel like there were more of a specialty with their toast. A good selection of breakfast toast which we did utilized. We didn't get anything major with drinks but mainly orange juice. Food wise, pretty much loads of items on the menus. Both the spicy and classic fried chicken sandwiches. Both were tasty and served with a side of your choice. Between the classic and spicy, I was more pleased with spicy. More flavors with the sauces. Everything about our experience was amazing from checkin via tablet (love it! and on a busy Sunday morning) to our server to the manager swinging by to chat to final checkout w to go boxes. the vibe is open, fresh and inviting (see photo). Worth the wait! I've been recommended to come here for years and finally made it happen. There was an hour wait on late sunday morning, even for 2 people, so be prepared. There's a starbucks nearby that made it easy to wait. And there's a yelp check in process which tracks your status and timing, made it easy to know when we were up! Now on to the food. The flatbread was the ultimate favorite and a must get. Such a fantastic combo and cooked perfectly. The bruleed french toast had a great sugary coating and fresh fruit. The portions were solid, service was fine, and the waitlist feature was honestly clutch, we added our names before driving up and avoided a super long wait. Service is generally good, but it tends to struggle during peak times like this Sunday. Our server, Chao, got our simple drink order wrong (one water with no ice, one hot water, and a black decaf coffee) and didn't mention any alternatives to the French fries that came with the meal. When we noticed the plate and asked for a substitute, it was provided without issue. Overall, the food remains the highlight, but the service this visit fell short of expectations. In hindsight, I probably should have reflected my level of satisfaction more clearly in the tip. When I needed to ask for a coffee refill he came with caffeinated coffee. Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and helpful!! His name is Shay - I thought he looks like Ryan Gossling!! Super friendly & attentive -- I felt bad for him as he had tables outside, in the room and in the main room -- I even overheard a waitress asking where his section was and he was laughing as clearly it was in 4 different places but he was compentent and managing it well. We were sat initially in the back room area which was nice except there was a couple with two littles who were screaming at times - they eventually left and the manager (I assume as she was dressed in regular clothing - named Vanessa) moved one of the high chairs to the table directly next to us within arms reach - I asked her if they were seating someone there she said yes - I asked if we could then be moved as this was so close and she moved us to a high top table - I understand trying to navigate seating but after also working in the service industry it's also important to think about how close you are encroaching on other people whom are already sat - space - wild to me the lack of consideration for this by a manager too!! Plus the table where the original couple w/ kids were sitting that wasn't encroaching on our space is where they could have been sat!! Screaming children in high chairs doesn't always allow for a great experience! Especially with this back room area being somewhat enclosed and when the kids were screaming it echoed. I noticed after we were moved they didn't even sit them there - smh. I saw them take the group outside - they had a huge stroller that woudnt have fit in the corner she was trying to fit them anyways - with 4 adults. Other than that experience with the manager who dismissed our concerns by just moving us to a high top instead of the new group - I'd recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity. When we got there we were told it would be another 10-15 minutes before we could be seated, weekends are crazy busy here. I will note that after we sat down we were helped quickly and brought coffee and water. The restaurant was very crowded and loud, but in a cheerful way, and although the server appeared irritated, I suspected it was because of the kids running around in the small space. We ordered the Shashukkah, a Philly cheesesteak potato skillet and the Pantry breakfast combo. The coffee was decent and they have all types of fresh squeezed juices and a menu full of mocktails. I was tempted to my order one, but the prices were pretty steep for a glass of juice, syrup and soda. The plates of food were generous, and the potatoes were seasoned perfectly and crispy on the outside, yet creamy inside. My Shashukkah was great, the pepper tomato sauce had a little kick and the eggs poached perfectly. They serve beef bacon, and the hubs said it was delicious. This place took me by surprise! Most of the time, trendy eateries are average with no unique tastes. But The Pantry offered a whole variety of breakfast/brunch items, and all our dishes tasted so delicious with bold flavors and fusions. I love baklava, so I was eager to try their baklava panckes. It was so good, it tasted spiced and paired so well with the whip cream on the side. I also ate the breakfast flatbread. It was a unique blend of a flat bread and my eggs and arugula. My mocktail, the gauva one, was tart and sweet! Our sever, Jennifer, was so sweet, attentive, and fast! The manager was also walking around the restaurant, and she was also really sweet and asked if we were enjoying things. Definite 10/10 place! read more

Excellent, excellent food! Our wait was terrible, but that's what we get for going Sunday during brunch. I'd recommend joining the waitlist before you even leave your house. Service was 10/10. Drinks immediately and our food came out within 10 minutes of overseeing, even though the restaurant was packed. Eggs Benedict - 10/10, so much bacon and avocado which was awesome. The flavor of the hollandaise was so good. Philly Hash - also 10/10. This was gigantic, definetly big enough to share. And they put plenty of meat on it, the cheese sauce is very tasty. French toast - 9/10. This was heavenly, especially with the fresh whipped cream on the side. read more
