    Philly hash over easy eggs
    Samiya A.

I had such a fun Wednesday morning here for brunch! Our server Eva was soo kind and considerate with explaining the menu and making all of our necessary accommodations. She's so friendly and sweet! We were all smiles and happy! The food is also really good. I got the Philly Hash. Overall enjoyed my experience, I always love coming to The Pantry.

Don't be latte for brunch! [Roseville CA] This place is busy at any given time... it's giving me the sense that locals don't need to work, they fill up this restaurant LoL! I dined on a Wednesday at 11:00a. They don't take reservations but you can join a waitlist in Yelp. Come here on the weekend and expect to have some wait. I ordered the Pantry Combo: Two eggs, choice of two meat (bacon or sausage), potato hash, and choice of pancakes, french toast, toast, or fruit. If it's your birthday they give you pancakes! Good customer service, Christina was friendly and did check on me every so often even as she was busy with other tables. She applied my birthday reward at the end of my meal. This location has gone through two restaurants in the past, maybe three, including Ginger's, Mexico Lindo, and Ciao. The Pantry is located at the Palisades Plaza in Roseville. Finding parking during peak meal hours can be challenging. Instagram: @thepantryrestaurantroseville Review #4025

Good food, great service. It was our first time there and everything was amazing. Parking was a bit tricky-- that parking lot is so tight! Will definitely try other dishes next time.

This is my favorite brunch spot to go to in Roseville. This is my fourth time coming here. First of all their menu is completely halal which I love as I can try as many different menu items as I can. They are very try busy during the weekends so I would recommend trying to get on the waitlist as soon as you can. The inside is a very modern with industrial lights and little plants all around. All the food I have tried has been delicious! This time around I got the Philly hash. The meat was thinly sliced and flavorful. The potatoes had a perfect crisp on the outside but soft on the inside and the sauce they put on top is delicious. I have also tried their pumpkin chai pancakes in the winter which are by far the best pancakes I've had in my entire life. I hope they bring that back again this fall as I could eat that every single day. Overall the food is consistently good so if you are around the area then I would recommend coming here.

Oh how I love The Pantry! It's rare for me to give five stars to places, but The Pantry has everything that brings me joy in life - beautiful presentation and fantastic tasting food. I tried the Beet Hummus Toast and Baklava Pancakes. Both had great flavor and the pancakes aren't sweet, which was great! I could taste the flavors, rather than having a overly-sweet Service was great as well. I'll be back here ASAP!

Yum! We went for breakfast, and loved the variety offered, service and delicious food! We ordered the eggs Benedict, matcha French toast, and buttermilk pancakes along with a few mocktails and coffees. Everything was perfect. The Benedict had beef bacon, which I had never tried, and it was awesome!

Our waiter was super friendly, attentive and helpful!! His name is Shay - I thought he looks like Ryan Gossling!! Super friendly & attentive -- I felt bad for him as he had tables outside, in the room and in the main room -- I even overheard a waitress asking where his section was and he was laughing as clearly it was in 4 different places but he was compentent and managing it well. We were sat initially in the back room area which was nice except there was a couple with two littles who were screaming at times - they eventually left and the manager (I assume as she was dressed in regular clothing - named Vanessa) moved one of the high chairs to the table directly next to us within arms reach - I asked her if they were seating someone there she said yes - I asked if we could then be moved as this was so close and she moved us to a high top table - I understand trying to navigate seating but after also working in the service industry it's also important to think about how close you are encroaching on other people whom are already sat - space - wild to me the lack of consideration for this by a manager too!! Plus the table where the original couple w/ kids were sitting that wasn't encroaching on our space is where they could have been sat!! Screaming children in high chairs doesn't always allow for a great experience! Especially with this back room area being somewhat enclosed and when the kids were screaming it echoed. I noticed after we were moved they didn't even sit them there - smh. I saw them take the group outside - they had a huge stroller that woudnt have fit in the corner she was trying to fit them anyways - with 4 adults. Other than that experience with the manager who dismissed our concerns by just moving us to a high top instead of the new group - I'd recommend sitting outside if you have the opportunity. Not sure I'll be back (the manager was a real turn off for the vibe as she was also yelling and loud with staff and other customers) -- the food was just okay - they serve beef bacon and chicken sausage - not my favs.

Service was amazing, Ian was so attentive. He refilled drinks with our asking and noticed my son needed more syrup. We were in and out in less than 1 hour but didn't feel rushed. The fresh oj was delicious. The pancakes were fluffy and tasty . The chicken sandwich was Crispy and tasty

Highly recommend! What a wonderful addition to Roseville. Food: Integrated and diverse flavors, fresh, and even good matcha. Service: really good - no complaints - everyone was nice, including the owners!! Super excited to come back. They have rotating seasonal specials and changed their menu constantly. They have some pretty exciting flavor of profiles and it was hard to choose what to get, but my plate was really good. I will say that their sausages were pretty small and things could be a little more flavorful, but it was cool that the flavors are unique and fresh overall.

One of the more modern and clean halal restaurants I've visited. We found this spot through social media and Yelp and decided to stop by for brunch. It was busy since it was Valentine's weekend, but we were seated right away. There was a slight wait before our server took our order. We sat in the back room, which has more seating for larger groups, while the main dining area feels more intimate with tables suited for about five guests. As a halal restaurant, they don't serve pork or alcohol, but they do offer a variety of mocktails. FOOD Pistachio French Toast (5/5): The highlight of our visit. The pistachio cream was light, not overly sweet, and full of flavor. Smoked Salmon Hash (5/5): I liked the crispy potatoes, also had egg, smoked salmon. The sauce tied everything together perfectly. Shakshuka (4/5): I ordered mine with a poached egg and enjoyed it, though my sister didn't like the texture and not a big fan of tomatoes. The pita brea was good. Chicken Nuggets: Nothing extraordinary, but a solid kid-friendly option. DRINKS Guava Pinot Noir (5/5): Refreshing and flavorful. Eastern Paloma (5/5): Light and refreshing. Overall: Great food and good service. Parking can be challenging, especially during peak hours.

It was my second time here and i was pleasantly surprised to see they had seasonal entrees! I did get the shakshouka, pistachio toast, and veggie Benedict with a side of blood oranges. This spread was so delicious and the food came out super fast. The shakshouka on the cast iron skillet elevated the dish and I loved the chickpeas inside for added texture. The pistachio toast was so soft and nutty, and the cream added the perfect touch. The veggie Benedict was solid and the garlic hollaindaise was delicious, although a little less sauce would've been perfect since the English muffin got a bit soggy. The service was friendly and efficient and the ambiance is why i love coming here. It's super spacious with comfortable booths and there's a lot of natural lighting. The Pantry is a great choice for breakfast/brunch!

Food was good but it isn't on FOUR SISTERS level of customer service. Pancakes were a little dense. The place is cute but a little too cold. I had to fish for the waiter for get coffee refills. At Four Sisters they just keep it coming. The atmosphere was cold and not cozy not so where I would go back to.

Location & Parking: The Pantry is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking. We were already in the area and had heard great things about this popular spot, so we decided to finally try it. We joined their online waitlist just before 9am and ended up waiting about 50 minutes to be seated, pretty expected for a busy weekend morning. Atmosphere & Service: The inside is very modern, clean, and bright, a great brunch atmosphere. Once we were seated, our drinks and food came out very quickly, which we appreciated after the wait. Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. Food & Drinks: I ordered an iced vanilla latte, which was just okay for a brunch spot , not bad, but nothing particularly standout. My husband ordered the fresh squeezed orange juice, and that was absolutely delicious and tasted incredibly fresh. For our meals, I ordered the Pantry Benedict with potatoes, and it was very flavorful and satisfying. My husband ordered the hot chicken and waffles. The chicken itself was delicious, but the waffles were a bit sweeter than we're used to for that savory-sweet combination. We also shared the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes, which were sweet, fluffy, and so delicious, definitely a highlight of the meal. Overall: Overall, we can see why this is such a popular brunch spot. Expect a bit of a wait on the weekends, but the quick service and delicious food make it worth checking out!

You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

The croutons were crisp and flavorful. Best Cesar salad that I've had in years. My main dish was the pork carnitas tacos. Topped with heaping mounds of shredded cabbage. Creamy sauce on the cabbage. A side of mild-ish chipotle salsa served on the side to pour on the carnitas. The tacos were so big that they were almost too unwieldly to hold. Service was great too, everything just flowed really well. We're all vegetarian, so I was actually really happy with how many veg options they had (a lot of Italian places around here don't). For apps, we got the truffle bruschetta and the burrata. Only thing is, I thought the burrata would come as a full ball, but it was on toast pieces but pretty similar to the bruschetta. Looking back, we probably would've just ordered one. For mains, we kind of went all in on truffle...truffle risotto, truffle ravioli, plus a margherita pizza and fries. And honestly, some of the best truffle we've had in the Sacramento area. Everything was really flavorful and just done right, no complaints at all. For dessert, we got the Mia Dream and the San Sebastián cheesecake. The Mia Dream was actually a dream. The cheesecake was good too, but honestly we could've passed on it.
