I came here entirely for the butter and dessert. The service was good and I got my dessert fast. I sat at the bar but there was plenty of space to sit.

Been to Bennetts before but had never tried out the Rocklin location. We had reservations for dinner and were brought in and seated early with no wait, which was really nice and set a great tone for the evening. Our server Zack, did a great job throughout the entire experience. He was attentive without being overbearing, made sure everything came out in a timely manner, and checked in just enough to keep things running smoothly. The service felt dialed in and professional. The food, service, and atmosphere were all consistent with what you'd expect from Bennetts, and this location made for an easy, enjoyable dinner. We'll definitely be coming back to this Rocklin spot again.

Don't sleep on Bennett's for weekend brunch, this is a great stop with a really varied menu, from standard breakfast items to the excellent lunch-side as well

Bennett's Cheeseburger All chuck, cooked perfectly. Lettuce stacked like in a wedge salad. Loved the fries. Best burger I have had in recent memory. Vegetable Quinoa Bowl with grilled salmon Cauliflower, snow peas, cipollini onions, shiitake mushrooms, spinach, roasted tomato and grilled avocado. Who thought a healthy meal could taste so good? The salmon was cooked perfectly. Prices very fair.

We were wanting to try something new for Mother's Day brunch and Bennett's was our first choice. I made reservations online about a month in advance, knowing it would be a popular dining day. And boy was I right it was hopping the whole time we were there for brunch starting at 11 AM. It's a lovely dining room but quite dimly lit for a morning meal, but it was fine. There is a nice variety of breakfast and lunch options on the breakfast menu.. and while there was a special Mother's Day brunch offering none in our party chose those options. The shared crab deviled eggs are a must We all enjoyed our selected dishes. Such generous portions we brought a lot home to enjoy later in the day he he. Service was friendly and prompt even on such a busy morning we were in and out in an hour. Can't wait to return to try more of their dishes.

We came here as a party of 7. We waited about 5 minutes for a table (not bad for a Saturday at dinner time) our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I had the Brik Chicken that came with mashed potatoes. (I do wish it came with a salad or veggie) My husband got the Steak Frites he said they were very flavorful and prepared well. My son and Neice had children's Salmon and they enjoyed it. They had quite a few beer, wine and cocktail options. A few desserts to choose from too, like Key lime pie. Lemon creme brulee, and banana cream pie. We didn't nit get desserts this time but I am sure we will be back!

I came here with a group for a friend's bday for dinner. We ordered the black berry margaritas which were delicious I was very tempted to have another. For an appetizer we shared the Trio of dips that comes with chips. The salsa was sooo good and I was pleasantly surprised that it was better than many restaurants that are more known for serving salsa as an appetizer. The cheese or pimiento cheese was yummy too. I didn't try the guacamole but everyone loved this appetizer and we needed more chips. For my entree I ordered the prawn linguine and omg it was delicious. The shrimp were cooked just right and not overcooked. The bread that came with it was great too. A friend ordered the mah grilled fish tacos and wasn't too keen on them. For the 2 birthdays at the table they treated us to 2 small ice cream sundae that we shared. They were yummy. The service was great and attentive as well. I'll definitely be back.

If I could give Bennett's 4.5 stars, I would. Just a minor hiccup with someone else's food being served to our table (we ordered the exact same entrees), but other than that, this place is 5 stars across the board. I'm glad I made an earlier reservation for our 5:30 dinner seating because it was packed. Quite a few walk-ins were told the wait was at least an hour. We sat at a high top booth, which was perfect for the two of us. Wouldn't recommend for a party larger than that since the table is not too big. Their happy hour was still going until 6pm so we made sure to order our drinks and appetizer quickly. Within minutes, our entrees were served which confused us because we hadn't received our drinks and app yet. Coincidentally another couple across from us order the exact same entrées. The staff made the correction very fast. Of all the items on the menu, I was actually most impressed by the house made potato chips that went with the French onion dip. They were well seasoned, fried perfectly and even held their crispiness the next day (we had some left over). The prime rib with mashed potatoes was delicious and also cooked well. I enjoyed the prawn linguine dish which had six pieces of nice sized prawns. Overall, the ambience, service, food and value are well worth it. Definitely would come back if we're in the area again.

Bennett's Westside Grill is one of our favorite destinations for a wonderful brunch experience. We enjoyed a delightful time with bubbles and delicious eats while visiting Uncle Rick and Jane. The burgers and jalapeño cornbread were absolutely excellent--so flavorful and satisfying. Service: Everyone was incredibly friendly and welcoming-excellent service. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. Note: They also have a fantastic to-go counter, and one of my personal favorites is their mac & cheese--creamy, cheesy, and comforting.

The entrance to the place is a bit strange and not a clearly marked. The wife and I did the 2 course for $30 which is a pretty good deal. The salad, soup, and chicken enchiladas were good. The cannelloni however was too sweet to my liking. The soup I got was the chicken tortilla, it was hot with plentiful amount of chicken. The service was quick and we were in a rush so they accommodated us.

Looooooveeee the happy hour so much and so do others - always busy!! Woot! We stopped in around 4pm today for a few drinks and appetizers- - service is always friendly and the ambiance is perfect - not too loud but just enough action!!

We visited Bennett's for lunch and had a lovely, low-key night. The space is an easygoing sports‑bar vibe with warm stone accents and big windows -- comfy for casual dates or catching the game. Our server was friendly and attentive; she forgot an extra dressing briefly but came right back with it and surprised us with two cookies, which felt like a nice, personal touch. I ordered the salmon salad and it was delicious -- flaky salmon, fresh beets and radish, and bright dill that made the dish sing. My companion had the Three Mushroom Burger and declared it excellent (he finished every bite and the fries). We stuck with water and the kitchen paced everything well. Churros with vanilla ice cream for dessert were a sweet finish. Solid spot for straightforward, well‑made dishes and pleasant service; we'll definitely be back.

Staff friendly. Beautiful atmosphere. Food so varied and delish! Our server asked if we liked curry when ordering the cauliflower au gratin. We do, so we went for it. OMG! Fabulous! Subtle and amazing blend with the cheese. Not overly heavy on cheese or spice. Paul Hollywood handshake to the chef! My husband got the osso bucco. Tender and fall of the bone! The steak frite was so delish and tender. Topped it off with a great cocktail and treated ourselves to the lemon Creme brûlée which was creamy and a great light way to end a fabulous meal. Wonderful date night. So many more things to try in the menu that will keep us coming back!

Since I…read moredon't live nearby, I turned to Yelp and started calling places close to the mortuary where our family would be gathering. Pain Killers was the third place on my list. My first call went unanswered, and there wasn't an answering service. On my second call, I was able to leave a voicemail. When I called Pain Killers, a kind woman answered within two rings. I explained that I was looking for a venue to host a memorial gathering. She let me know that the person who could best assist me wasn't available but offered to take my number and have them return my call. Within 30 minutes, Austin called me back. We discussed what we were looking for, and as you can imagine, it's not an easy conversation to have with someone you've never met. From the very beginning, Austin's kindness and compassion stood out. His exact words were, "We want to be here for you during this difficult time." Those weren't just words--I could genuinely feel his sincerity, not only during that phone call but in every text message we exchanged over the following week. Each time I reached out, I'd say, "Ok, Austin, last question," only to think of another one shortly afterward. No matter how many times I contacted him, he remained patient, understanding, and accommodating. He answered every question, responded promptly, and never once made me feel like I was asking too much. In the end, it was decided to keep the entire day's gathering at a church rather than the mortuary, so we didn't end up going to Pain Killers. Even so, I wanted to recognize Austin for the exceptional level of customer service and genuine compassion he showed during one of the most difficult times. The next time I'm in the Rocklin area, I plan to stop by, say hello to Austin, and make sure to give Pain Killers some well-deserved business. Thank you, Austin, for reminding me that kindness and empathy still go a long way.

I do hope you recently cleaned the patio since I did visit a few weeks ago. I wish you the best of luck. Just a tip on future responses to reviews. You always seem to have an "answer" . Sometimes you just need to chalk it up to a bad day, experience, or something to grow from. You show a pattern which comes off as disingenuous. Anybody who reads your other responses will see its deflection. Sometimes a "Thanks for your review, we identified a few items to learn from and hopefully a future chance at your business will be better". Service was horrible. Sunday afternoon around 4 pm. 1 bartender, 1 patron at bar, 2 establishment based folks "meeting" at a high top in the bar area. Bartender literally told me after we received our drinks that "if she got bored, she would come check on us in the patio" as she moved over to eat her salad (at the bar) and chat with the 1 patron. The patio is filthy. Please pressure wash the outside and maybe wash the furniture covers outside. I mean it gives off the grunge downtown or extremely busy college bar scene but in Rocklin, Ca which is about as grunge as the Hamptons. The menu has lined out times, rather than update the paper document. Food looked standard pub fair, nothing flashy, but didn't have the quality of the old Mac and cheeses Bone Shakers use to provide. Decor is pretty much Bone Shakers, no real heart or specialization, beyond adding the grunge feel. I ordered a specialty fry with my first drink. As I was wrapping up my 3rd drink, I cancelled the order, and proceeded to close out. One of the establishment "gentleman" let me know the food was coming out. I said "at this point, No Thank You". They did offer the food to me at no charge 5 minutes later as I finished my drink outside. It weighed about 10 lbs and was not appetizing looking. You can be the judge. I came here for a little nostalgia and to see how the place had grown since I had been there some years ago. I can check it off my follow up list.

We enjoyed watching the Super Bowl LIV between the KC Chiefs and the SF 49ers at Halftime with many football fans in the house. By the time we arrived (which was 30 mins early) the dining section with plenty of high top and regular tables was almost full. There were also some booth seating and, of course, bar seating. Numbers were already placed on the tables making it easy for the servers to wait on the guests. We did find an empty long table by the wall which we later shared with another young couple and his family. Two huge big screens were side by side at the stage and many flatscreens placed at the bar and the pool table area. Our server was awesome, unfortunately, I did not catch her name. We ordered Garlic Parmesan crispy hot wings and Crispy Potato Skins. Good stuff! She kept coming back to check on us. Super nice and friendly! Great atmosphere to watch sports. First time here today, and we had our youngest with us, who had been here before…read more We ordered the mac 'n cheese balls and wings as a meal, the Eureka American, and the fish tacos from the lunch menu. I enjoyed my burger and fries. It was a good deal as a lunch menu item, which is offered until 3 p.m. The fish tacos were decent (maybe a little on the bland side) but still a nice option to have. The wings were dry, which our kid said isn't usually the norm since they order them regularly, but the mac 'n cheese balls were a hit, as usual. Service here is friendly, and the hostesses were warm and welcoming when we first walked in. Our server, Jessica B., was friendly and accommodating, offered solid recommendations, and checked in with us frequently without being overbearing. Our biggest bone to pick, though, was with the chairs in the outdoor seating area. All three of us were uncomfortable and hurting after a relatively short amount of time. I'd definitely recommend grabbing a booth inside, and that's what we'll likely do.

Original review: Seems Everytime we come now there's issues. This time we just walked out! I made reservations, requested a booth then was told the wait for inside would be over an hour. Even with my reservation. There were half booths open and the table that was supposed to be for us was given to another person. (What I mean is she took the table) and the staff didn't do anything. We used to come here every weekend. Sadly this place has gone downhill. I think we're done with this place!

Sawdust in my hair, zero regrets…read more We came for the ax throwing and stayed for the vibes. Get Axed in Roseville is a wild, well-run good time -- think beer-pong-energy targets, tic-tac-toe projection games, and enough illuminated targets to keep everyone entertained between throws. The staff are friendly, informative, and actually helpful with coaching throws and explaining the games, which made the whole experience way less intimidating. You can order cocktails (solid pours) and snacks -- another party got a stack of pizzas from Costco and the place handled it like pros. Bathrooms were huge and spotless, which is always a relief. The space is cozy and wooden, so yes, bring your sense of adventure. I left with sawdust in my hair and a grin. Photos attached show the games and the menu -- great spot for a rowdy date night or group hang. Go with friends, wear something you don't mind getting a little rustic, and have fun. 1) Axe lane and illuminated targets -- bring your A-game. 2) Tic-tac-toe projection -- more competitive than it looks. 3) "GET AXED" beer menu -- drink options for every palate.

I've been going to Get Axed for its monthly Country Night line dancing. It's held either the last…read moreFriday or Saturday of the month from 7 to 9 PM. Follow Get Axed Roseville on Facebook or Instagram: @getaxedroseville There is no cover charge to dance. Locally established line dance instructor Jen Michele teaches 3 dances over the course of 2 hours, and dances are called in between lessons. She will call out the steps for the first couple walls for the easier dances. The floor is not wood. The dance floor space is an odd shape: a small square area in front of the DJ then overflow into the walkway from the front door to the first axe-throwing lane. I would say it's the shape of a key or the state of Oklahoma. You won't always be able to see the instructor, so you will have to listen carefully to the steps, copy the surrounding line dancers, or wait for her to move closer to you to demo. After 9 PM, you can make song requests to the DJ to get your favorite line dances called. You'll need to provide the name of the song to the DJ because he's not a line dancer. If you fear a zombie apocalypse, there are 9 reservable lanes to hone your axe throwing. Each lane comes with its own reserved table. There are 12 digital axe-throwing games. This would make for a fun night out with friends. The rate is currently $10 per person per half hour. You can reserve for 30, 60, 90, or 120 minutes. There is a rate discount for 2 hours ($35 per person). You can also find Groupon deals to save money. You can also purchase Membership Passes (5 hours for $80, 10 hours for $140). You can also book 2 hour parties for a minimum of 15 people at $20 per person. Get Axed Roseville has a new game room with 4 pool tables, darts, a bocce ball court, shuffleboard, and a terraball table. In addition, there are 18 TVs. Thursday nights at 7 PM is Trivia Night. There is no cost to participate. Maximum of 6 players per team. Axe throwing is only $20 per person for two hours. Get Axed has a 4 page menu of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. The menu changes monthly. Great selection and variety at affordable prices. I like how the beer menu is organized into different flavor profiles, such as Nutty, Fruity, Sour, Roasted, or Malt. Beer and beverages (i.e., soda, nonalcoholic beer, energy drinks, Starbucks, sparkling water, iced tea, coconut water, Gatorade) come in cans or bottles. You can also purchase various bags of potato chip flavors there. For a fun and affordable afternoon or evening activity with friends, check out Get Axed in Roseville. It's located in the Nugget plaza on Pleasant Grove Blvd and Fairway Dr.
