Even more so, she was super kind. So, I private chef along the corridor btw Reno and the Bay Area and, naturally, I had a cooler full of food in my car. When I told Katie I was just going to run out quickly and crack my car windows bc I had food in the car, she graciously offered to allow me to bring it in and keep my cooler in the walk-in. This place deserves 5 stars purely based on the service. Shannon greeted us and was so attentive even though she was bartending. We got two burgers and a beer and the beer was ice cold and so crisp and refreshing. I got the Smothered Burger which was good but a little dry. Luckily, their ranch is 10/10 and can fix anything. My boyfriend got the Baja burger and said it was one of the best burgers he's had. The fries weren't our favorite but they were seasoned well and the ranch saved the day yet again. We went out to Rocklin to pick up some medicine for my cat and drove by Sully's. It was a Monday afternoon and the parking lot was very full. My partner loves to check out dive bars and, reluctantly, I agreed to have lunch there. It was very loud, even for a Monday afternoon. We grabbed a table and a server came over to us pretty quickly. She took our order quickly which was quite simple- chips and salsa to start and a burger to split. Easy peasy. Unfortunately, we never got our chips and salsa. Not sure how that ball got dropped, but it was unfortunate. Our Sully Burger came out about thirty minutes later (well done, so it takes a bit longer). It was a decent burger, but nothing too memorable. It was cooked correctly so that scored some points. The fries were decent as well. I did notice a lot of food sitting in the window and there only seemed to be two ladies working the floor and the bar. I think they were short staffed and/or wasn't expecting such a large lunch crowd. Overall, we *might* give it one more try. It just seemed like it could have been better and maybe they were having an off afternoon. Everyone is titled to their bad days. I guess because of all of the stellar reviews, I was expecting a bit more. Forgetting the appetizer was disappointing. So, we'll see. I'm glad we stopped in to check it out. read more

Went based on a recommendation to try the French dip. It was packed & my server was alone. He took my order but dropped off the wrong sandwich & there was no one available to speak to. I had to walk up to the kitchen window myself & ask for Aus Jus- and I got a Philly cheese steak instead. When I picked up my own Togo order for family at home I also had to go the kitchen myself because the server was no where to be found. I wouldn't go back because the food was underwhelming. When I told the server what happened he apologized and asked if the guy in the kitchen fixed it and I said no he simply got me Aus Jus that was cold & poured out of a container into a plastic cup. He refunded me for the sandwich and I paid for my to go orders for my family and I left. I asked my family what they thought of their burgers and they told me they were OK but the fries were bland and unseasoned and that they wouldn't write home about anything. That's an honest play-by-play lots yet of other people have had great experiences and I'm glad that they did. This place isn't for me. The crowd was very very mixed as far as age wise. But if you are looking for a multiracial establishment. You're not gonna find that at Sully's. My husband I decided to stop in for some appetizers and sliders (on a Sunday evening).The wait staff did an outstanding job! It was a one man show- running the bar, bussing tables, taking orders, delivering food, and chatting up customers. I'm not sure if this is typical, it because it was a Sunday evening. The atmosphere is very relaxed and casual with fun entertainment such as darts, pool tables, a video golf game and a nice outdoor patio. We ordered the sampler with potato skins, mozzarella sticks, and buffalo wings. The meat on the wings was okay but the other appetizers tasted great. Additionally, we ordered French dip sliders. These were also just okay but not as filling as expected. Another patard the pulled pork sliders and those looked better. Phenomenal spot for drinks at night. Most nights they have karaoke and I am a die hard fan. The bartenders have been friendly lunch, dinner, and throughout the night. I'd go just because of how cool they are. I've spent many nights there but not many for lunch until as of recently. I went for lunch and have tried two items so far. The fried chicken sando and the Buffalo chicken salad. The chicken sando, I added coleslaw to it. could use more dressing as it was more dry then I'd like it, but, the chicken itself was nice and crispy. The bread was toasted well. The salad however, insane. I loved it and have gone by more than once to enjoy it. I definitely want to go back and want to try more of their food. I haven't been here for years and I remember it being really good for pub food. Today I went with a friend and I ordered the fish and chips it was actually kind of greasy. The fish itself was really good and the batter if it was more dry would have been good but that's where the grease was unfortunately. The french fries were quite good very light and fluffy the coleslaw looked delicious just a bit too much dressing for my personal liking. A large group of friends chose this place for our monthly lunches and we all enjoyed it! The service was friendly and quick, our food was good - even those dishes some weren't sure about at first were delish. There was no problem catering to the different needs and we weren't feeling a 'push' to leave after dining. Wow, what a great place! I wasn't expecting much when we drove past it, but I was pleasantly surprised when I looked up reviews and decided to give this place a try. As far as I know, Sully's has been a Rocklin staple for a while. It definitely gives a dive bar vibe, and you can tell it's filled with locals and regulars. The food was so good!!!!! Sully's Bar and Grill is a neighborhood pub, located at the east end of downtown Rocklin, CA, and has been serving up delicious "pub grub," beer, wine and mixed drinks since 2016. As you enter the restaurant, the first thing that will grab your attention is the full=service bar, where there are many beers on tap, and on this Saturday morning, there were two friendly ladies to serve you. The bar is at the front of the restaurant, and the dining room is GIGANTIC, and is furnished with many tall tables and chairs. The room is sparsely decorated, but there are many television monitors mounted on the wall, and on this late Saturday morning, were tuned to the NFL pre-game between the Buffalo Bills and the Green Bay Packers, where the Bills were leading 13-0 during the time of my visit. There are also a couple of pool tables for your enjoyment. The kitchen is in the rear of the restaurant, and you can actually look through the order pick-up window to watch the talented chef working his magic. Sully's Bar and Grill is truly a local "hangout" and is a favorite of Rocklin locals, who appreciate amazing "pub cuisine," friendly service, and a great place to relax and enjoy life. From the "Entrees" section of the menu, I went with "Fish and Chips" which happens to be one of my all-time favorite meals. The choice was difficult, as everything on the menu looked amazing, and I was hungry! The menu describes "Fish and Chips" as, "Hand battered cod, deep fried to a golden brown, served with fries, coleslaw and our house tartar sauce." Such a simple description for such an elegant lunch! The entree included three pieces of seasoned, battered cod, deep fried to a beautiful, golden brown. Each piece of fish had the correct batter-to-fish ratio, which meant there was a lot of fish, and the delicious batter enhanced the fish, rather than overwhelmed it. Each time I took a bite into the fish, I was rewarded by the "crunch" of the batter, which contrasted with tender, white fish inside. Of course each bite of fish was dipped into the "house" tartar sauce, which was on the thick side, tangy, delicious, and helped to make each bite more delicious than the previous bite of fish. The chef at Sully's Bar and Grill knows how to make delicious fish and chips! You get a "mountain" of fries, which were perfectly deep fried to a light golden brown on the outside, and tender white inside. The fries varied in size, as some were quite long and on the thick side, while others were shorter and thinner. Despite the size of the fries, they were all perfectly cooked and simply delicious. A small cup of ketchup was included for dipping, which always brings the "kid" out in me. My lunch included a small bowl of very colorful coleslaw, made out of thinly diced red and green cabbage, along with diced carrot. The coleslaw was drizzled in white dressing, and I squeezed lemon wedges onto the coleslaw for added zest. Great coleslaw! My lunch of "Fish and Chips" was simply amazing, and at the price of $11.99, very reasonably priced. The chef has talent, the food was excellent, the beer was cold, and the service was fast and as friendly as it gets. Sully's Bar and Grill serves outstanding "pub cuisine" to Rocklin locals! The service is super friendly, the bar and dining room are spacious, the food is delicious, and the beer is always cold. No wonder during the last five years Sully's Bar and Grill has become a favorite food and watering hole of Rocklin locals! read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. This place doesn't even deserve 1 star. First off the service is horrible. The employees are very rude. Second the food was disgusting. I ordered the street tacos and they burnt the carnitas and everything was so disgusting we couldn't even eat it. They also have a bad bug problem. I would not come here ever again. Very bad atmosphere. I couldn't wait to drive through McDonald's after leaving here. read more
