The service was really good. We got greeted, seated, and had chips and guacamole within 3 minutes of walking through the door! If you're hungry you won't die waiting or at least you'll have something to ease the hunger pangs! It wasn't as flavorful as I like my Mexican food to be. It was good, just missing something. It could've been what I ordered because my husband's food was good! The restaurant was decorated beautifully and probably good for a date night. Drinks were good and strong so maybe even going there for drinks.

A few weeks ago we went out to dinner with family. They picked this restaurant. My parents have been here before a few years ago. It was my first time here. Food was very yummy! Friendly and helpful server. Very clean restaurant and beautifully decorated! Looks like a lot of colorful fun art. Almost like an art gallery or blown glass and metal art. There is a little gift shop also.

What a wonderful gem. Beautifully decorated with HUGE iron/steel structures one does get the feeling of being in a place like San Miguel de Allende! We ordered the HUGE and wondeful Grande Corona-Rita. Basically a huge margarita with a small bottle of Grand Marnier attached which drips into the drink when pulled up. Splendid. We also got the Rock Guacamole which was fresh and flavorful. Already received the warm complimentary chips and salsa. We split the grilled fish tacos trying to stay somewhat healthy and thinking we were getting dessert which we did. Ice cream. The fish tacos were good especially the corn tortillas which tasted very fresh. Comes with rice and choice of black or refried beans. Ample free parking, great service. We'll be back when in the ara!

We saw this restaurant as we were driving down the road and I'm glad we stopped. Love how it's decorated, especially the glass balloons. They have long tables and it would make a great place for celebrations. Our server at the bar, Martha, was welcoming and helpful in suggesting items that didn't have onions due to my fiancée's allergy. Got the guacamole, it was enough for several people. Good but I think they left more than the onions out. Just mashed avocados. I was happy to see Red Pozole on the menu because that's usually reserved for the weekends at other places. I was a little disappointed because some of the pork seemed over cooked, not tender, like it had been sitting there for a long while. Probably should have gone with the albondigas. Loved the handmade tortillas.

I stopped here randomly because I was in the area and in the mood for Mexican food. I got the chimichanga and chips and salsa to go. I didn't have to wait long before my food was ready. The salsa had a Smokey taste and I could eat what with everything and be happy. The restaurant had very cool decor inside and out. Outside, palm trees had different colored lights on them. And there were large metal art pieces in the front. The entrance has large wood doors. When you walk in you can see a lot of color and very cool 3D everywhere. I wish I took more pictures but you have to see it in person. There was even art with head cutouts for a photo op. There is indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. And the women who helped me were friendly.

My boyfriend and I went Saturday night around 6pm and to our surprise it was not super busy. The food was very tasty, my chile Colorado came with my choice of flour tortillas which was yummy. Just wish there was more veggies on the plate!

You'd be forgiven for thinking you were in the wrong place or about to make a mistake and put yourself into a sketchy place. We looked around for a more "realistic" entry way not knowing the most realistic entry way is one that looks like a back door to a closed vacuum or furniture storefront. That's exactly the point. You knock. Immediately, the door opens. A man in a cowboy hat looks you over. He doesn't wear a name tag. He doesn't need one. He asks, "You have something to say?" If you've done your homework, and say the right thing, the door stays open. You're in. I do not know what happens if you do not have the word. What follows is less a bar and more a pocket of time. The interior is small but well conceived. The bar sits directly at the entrance, flanked by a few standing guests and several small tables. Beyond that, the space opens up into a lounge with seating for six to eight, and a longer bench-style area for a dozen or so. The walls are dark, the lighting low. It's the kind of place that feels like it remembers what Prohibition was, even if most of us never lived it. It felt like walking onto a movie set where we might be extras, and the main characters would enter and play out a scene. It was a perfect example of a speak easy in full swing. Even the glassware was legitimate. The decor is intentional. Books tucked into corners. Stags mounted on the wall. Nothing feels store-bought or trendy. It's immersive without trying too hard. The seats were not overstuffed contemporary types nor were the tables or even foot stools. They all looked like they came from a speak easy back in the day. About the only thing that did not look like the real thing were the patrons, as they were dressed casually, and of course the iPhones. I suppose that would have caused quite a ruckus during prohibition! Conversations are constant, layered over each other and laughter. It gets loud, but not obnoxious. There's a rhythm to the space that holds. My suggestion is to not go at 7pm on a Saturday and hope to get a prized table, couch or seat. Now, to the drinks. House Divided serves anything you ask for, but they lean into the theme. Classic cocktails done right. Throwbacks with historical lean. Creative new entries like lavender martinis that aren't just gimmicks. Each drink feels made by someone who knows what they're doing and takes pride in the process. This is not vodka-soda speed bar territory. It's craft, and it shows. I did not see a bottle of ocean spray anywhere, but what I did see were large glass bottles labeled with the juice or concoction held within. The little details are obvious! If I were to translate my usual framework:    *   Ambiance and Service: 4 stars (it can get loud and if you are here to have a conversation it will be difficult)    *   Quality: 5 stars- I had a simple drink - vodka and cranberry. With something "special" that the tender added. I don't know what it was, but the taste was wonderful! Way different than my standard go to!    *   Value? That depends on whether you're measuring price per ounce, or the fact that you just got to walk through a green door into another world. But in reality, 5 stars. Do I wish for more seating? Yes. Perhaps more quiet? Yes. But if it were those things, would it be the same? No. My guess is going on a Saturday at 7pm is going to be a bit crowded, and loud. That's my fault, and testament to their quality. Next, I found the staff to be great! Even the doorman gave it character, cowboy hat and boots and all! Great experience!

Who doesn't love the idea of a speakeasy?? We decided to head to Roseville in pursuit of a secret place. We found the secret door, knocked, and a young man answered. He asked for the password. Unfortunately I am not on social media and that's where you're supposed to find it. Bummer! I decided to use my own password. It worked and we entered the inner sanctum. It was a cool, smallish place with nice decor. The bar was the first thing we saw. I looked around to see a few tables and couches to the left. It was pretty early and there were only a few people there so we got a cozy little table in front of a velvety couch. I went to the bar where a burly tattooed OG bartender greeted me. I ordered an old fashioned and a raspberry lemon drop. My old fashioned was done very well. I'm on an old fashioned kick right now and love to try them at different places that look like they know how to make them. This one was really good. My friend wasn't so keen on her lemon drop, saying the lavender was a bit overpowering. We had another round and this time she had something different that she enjoyed. My second old fashioned was just as good as the first. It was getting later and more people happened to have the password and it was getting crowded. We were done, paid the tab, which wasn't bad considering how most speakeasy's can be pretty pricy. Overall, it was a great experience, the place was nice, friendly, and the drinks were done well. Give it a shot. Find the password, or use your own if you dare!

The place is so busy, and load, today. Yet Brittney had plenty of time to attend to our wishes and never made us feel rushed. . Even though we've been here several times, I can't say we had a server as great as Brittney. When we come back next time we're definitely going to ask for her. My husband had the birria and Carne Asada - 2 taco combination plate. He doesn't care for the beans and rice, and Brittney suggested he could have a salad or fries. The only problem was the tacos were too small, especially for $19 no tacos on Happy Hour menu.
