3.5 stars Our first visit. We were in the area for an appointment today and to meet up with a friend who lives in the area and found this place. She's been before and loves it. Randy ordered the choice of two: he chose the citrus club sandwich and the Caesar salad. The sandwich was not well constructed. Our friend ordered the same sandwich and hers was the same too. The problem is all the turkey is piled up in the middle instead of spread out making it necessary for him to take the bread off and redistribute the contents. When he did that, he liked it. The salad he found average, nothing special about it. He also ordered a lemon spritzer. It needed to be stirred. The first sip was a shocking sip of club soda. He stirred it up and liked it better after that. I ordered the Asian slaw and loved it. A lot of flavor thanks to the salad toppings of cilantro and green onion although the dressing was a bit too runny and not a lot of flavor to it. We also shared a piece of pumpkin coffee cake and that was yummy. The woman taking our orders was helpful answering our questions and while she said welcome in when we stepped inside, none of the employees seemed happy to be there. The turkey pesto sandwich has been a top favorite. This little cafe is nestled between Panda Express and Jimboys off of Sierra College and is not one to miss. The Hubster, MIL, and I popped in here for a late lunch today. What a cute little bakery/cafe this is. It's located inside a strip mall, so there is plenty of parking. It is rather tiny on the inside with only three tables of two. So if you are wanting to sit and eat, you need to be a small party, or take your food with you to go. Thankfully there was plenty of room when we arrived for our party of three. Their decor is cute with plenty o goose to view, as well as their baked goods. Since it was our maiden voyage here we did ask the nice gal who was at the register for a couple of recommendations which we took. The hubster tried the Ham and Peach Grilled Cheese, the MIL did the Pick Two which included a half Rosemary Chicken Sandwich and the Strawberry Poppyseed salad, I also got the Pick Two and chose half Citrus Club Sandwich and the Street Corn Cesar salad. Everything was made fresh to order and was incredibly tasty! The hubster and I also shared a Cherry Limeade Summer Sipper which was divine. We decided we could not leave with out taking a few goodies with us for later. So we bought a Lemon Bar, a Blackberry Cheesecake Bar, and a Chocolate Sea Salt Shortbread. The apple donut/muffin was our favorite and the pumpkin cookies and apple linzers were delicious. All the baked goods, bagel and cream cheese, frittata and coffee drinks were great. Their syrups are made in house and really good. I was hyped because my friends all love this place and it has amazing reviews, and it didn't disappoint! The espresso was great, but the actual drink was just good in my opinion. The shop itself was really cute, but a little warm (not sure if they have ac or anything like that) but nonetheless everything looked great! The girl who took my order and made my coffee was very nice too. I liked that it wasn't too expensive either, my 16oz drink was only $5.90! I think it's just because I'm so used to Rooftop's banana bread syrup that I was expecting something like that, but Grazing Goose's is definitely less sweet, and much more subtle. Luckily, I stumbled across this place when looking at Yelp for another coffee shop. The pastries and food both look delicious so I'd love to come back and try them in the future. I do not recommend using The Grazing Goose for catering. I selected the Appetizer package which consists of an app-size grazing table and 3 appetizers. While I received what I had ordered, the grazing table was poorly designed and executed, with very odd choices including cherry tomatoes, carrots, and large bowl of hummus, tons of cheese, some crackers and cheese puffs! There was no thought put into the presentation. For 40 people I paid $1200 and was left very disappointed and embarrassed at what my guests had to choose from. First time visit to Grazing Goose! It's in the shopping center right at Sierra College and 80. It's in the smaller section by Green Acres nursery. Easy to find, lots of parking. The restaurant is small and super cute inside. I think there are 4 two top tables only inside. There is some outdoor seating shared by all the restaurants too. They are a cafe that has soup, salad, sandwiches and full coffee bar. They have bakery treats for morning and afternoon...think coffee cake, croissants, and cookies. The espresso bar has homemade syrups and seasonal drinks - delicious!! Everything tastes homemade and yummy. I ordered a turkey sandwich, a coffee cake and a small mocha. My total was $24 without tip. My sandwich was tasty with good ingredients but it was a very small sandwich. I think the coffee cake was bigger than my sandwich (which isn't totally a bad thing)! The employees were friendly and kind. I have one suggestion - there was a line of people waiting and there is only one menu and it is on the counter in front of the register. So there is no way for people to decide before they get to the register. I saw people looking around for a menu to look at. I'd be interested to see how different the latte version tastes! - Peach lemonade refresher: this one has a sencha tea base which is really nice! It makes it more light and less tart, paired with the house syrup. This was my unexpected favorite! - Raspberry Lemonade: this was the sweetest drink of the three! Perfect for my little kiddos to enjoy. Finally had a chance to visit and it did not disappoint. My turkey pesto sandwich was very good. The baked goods look amazing. The fall vibe is on point and will definitely return. Just a couple of things, not sure if they are using a medium or dark roast on the coffee drinks, with three shots there was just not enough coffee flavor.
