Huge coffee house! This place has stellar coffee, tasty sweet treats and full breakfast items. Perfect spot for a meet up after golf or a bike ride. Plenty of space and right on the main road. The staff are phenomenal. My wife and I just moved here and it's a new top spot for us.

Very nice clean place to enjoy your breakfast. Very open feeling. Friendly staff

Great food and atmosphere. Good parking and the horseshoe sandwich was the bees knees. Will be back for more!

So glad I could check out this cute coffee shop! I stopped in to get some caffeine and didn't expect the setup of this local business. Parking can be tricky, but I've been to Taylor's across the street a few times and there's a huge lot over there that you could easily park in and then walk over. I found a spot on the street behind the cafe before I realized exactly where I was. When you walk in through the gate there's a flower shop first and then the cafe. It was all open with chairs and tables technically outside. When I arrived most of the tables were taken and there was a bit of a line. The staff were friendly and got through the line pretty quickly though. On my visit they were doing a BOGO half off deal so I ordered two 12oz coffees that came to $10 total before tip. I ordered their seasonal iced pumpkin chai and then a hot salted caramel drink. It was a little awkward waiting for my drink to be ready because there wasn't a good spot to just stand and wait. I felt like I was encroaching on the guests sitting at the tables and getting in the way of other guests. Luckily it only took a few minutes for my order to come out. When I grabbed my drinks I quickly looked for a coffee sleeve for the hot drink but didn't see one at the counter. Maybe I missed them, but I was trying to get out of the way quickly and the coffee wasn't unbearably hot so I just carried it without a sleeve. Next time I'm in the area I would try to dine in and try some of their food as well. It's a really cute spot and would be so fun to hang out at with friends especially during the cooler fall weather.

What a cute place! My daughter and I were out and about this morning and decided to take a little drive and try a new spot for us. I got a hazelnut shaken espresso and she got an iced vanilla hazelnut latte. They were high quality and tasty, next time we will ask for less milk and more espresso. We shared the avocado toast and breakfast burrito, both very filling we would have been fine just sharing one. Avocado toast was the winner! The servers were helpful and attentive. A little on the pricer end, but fun for a treat day.

Met the owner, she was super sweet. I ordered an iced coffee and an avocado toast. I will say, if I hadn't met Jessica, I probably would have given this a 3 stars based off the food and coffee alone. It was mediocre at best for how pricey it was. Though, I am always happy to support local business. Just wish the food/coffee was as amazing as the ambience.

Cute, cute, cute! We have been touring coffee spots each week and we are in Loomis....my husband went to school down the street so it is familiar territory to us. Walked up noted all the outdoor seating with pots filled with succulents to create a warm vibe. When you enter the shop it is decorated sort of Boho style and truly flows together that creates a comfortable vibe. Merchandise for sale, cute decorated cookies, create your own trucker hats, and other items for sale. The girl that served us was filled with a smile. I ordered loaded toast and hubby ordered a breakfast burrito and we both had white mochas. Food came out fast, coffee was a little later but was just the right temperature to enjoy right away. Food was very tasty and we would come back! Highly recommend. Great job to the owner of this spot, it's cute, comfy, and overall a great vibe!

Nestled in between Rocklin and Auburn lies the small town of Loomis, CA which only has 7,000 people (as of 2023). Things here move a little slower and that's not necessarily a bad thing. This takes me to one of their most popular coffee shops, "Smithville & Co". Having been opened only since mid-2022, this is one of the newer coffee shops to debut in Placer County. After reading mostly positive Yelp reviews, I decided to check this place out for myself. This is prime location directly in the heart of Loomis and actually directly across the street from "Taylors", an old school burger joint. But as far as Smithville goes, since it has a very rustic look to it, this place actually lies where Loomis Smog Station once stood for several years. And much of that is still intact complete with the large roll up garage-styled door where the main inside dining area is. However, the vast majority of the layout gives you a feeling as if you're outside. Which could be a make it or break it with harsh weather conditions (cold/rainy winter mornings & blazing hot summer days). However, on the day I came (which was Saturday 7/8/2023 at 11am), it was a beautiful, sunny 73° morning. Parking can be a little on the tricky side as Taylor Rd has limited parking on the street. However, a shared parking lot can be used where Pizza Factory and Loomis Flooring is at. This is where I parked and made the quick walk inside. As I mentioned, the inside has a very industrial and rustic feel to it complete with lighting that reads "All You Need Is Love" and "Loomis Stole My Heart". There is also ample seating throughout. The outside is also very impressive as they are quite a few tables for dining complete with a few large white umbrellas to shield yourself from the sun. Additionally, a gender-neutral restroom is outside as well as a nearby floral shop that is all part of the same building. During my visit, I decided on trying an iced drink as well as a small bite to eat. I ended up choosing their "Iced White Chocolate Mocha" (priced at $5.25) with their "Loaded Toast" (priced at $9.50). This consisted of lightly toasted bread complete with pesto spread, two hard boiled eggs (sliced), two crispy slices of bacon, tomatoes, micro greens and drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette. I proceeded to sit at one of the open tables and waited for my food and drinks. My white mocha arrived first but arrived "hot" instead of "iced". The young woman didn't hesitate and immediately made me an iced white chocolate mocha. This takes me to the Loaded Toast. I have got to say, this thing definitely loaded and surprisingly filled me up. There were two thick cuts of what tasted like applewood smoked bacon. That with the hard boiled eggs, heavy amount of microgreens and tomatoes with the pesto spread really made this shine and is quite a departure than the more popular avocado toasts that everyone orders. This place does have a really decent selection of food including a breakfast burrito, a breakfast sandwich, protein bowls, rice bowls, and your typical pastries. The drink selection also does not disappoint as you can get your fix on standard coffee/espresso drinks as well as teas, shakes, and even beer. Yes this place does serve alcohol as they have extended hours on Friday/Saturday from 7am-9pm. Otherwise, they are opened from 7am-5pm Monday-Thursday while being closed on Sunday. When you factor in the ambiance, selection, location, and overall fun factor of "Smithville", this place deserves a perfect five star Yelp review from me.

You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This place doesn't have the best hours but I'm sure there is a reason for these hours-M-F the hours are 5p-10p and on weekends they open at 12p... In closing-If you ever find yourself in the Rocklin area and you get a yearning to try out your pinball machine skills-I couldn't recommend this spot any higher as they are a very unique spot offering a truly awesome experience-a trip down memory lane for some and a whole new world for the younger generation-You should get out there and have some fun. PS-I failed to mention this place is very family friendly-on my particular visit the place was flooded with kids from elementary to high school age honing their pinball machine skills and enjoying every minute of it.

The mac n' cheese bites I had last week were freshly prepared (from scratch), cooked to order, piping hot, and totally delicious--and also under $10. The beers and ciders on tap are all mostly from small, local makers and under $10/pint. They also have plenty of NA drink options. Chef Matthew had wrapped the sandwich with butcher paper, and cut it in half, for easy enjoyment. The sandwich began with a generous helping of tri-tip beef, cut into thin strips, seasoned, marinated and expertly grilled on the Weber propane-fired grill. Mustard, mayonnaise and dill pickle relish were offered inside, but this sandwich was so delicious that it didn't need any enhancements! My first bite... oh my! ... simply delicious! The tri-tip beef was moist, tender and grilled perfectly. Combine the meat with bacon, cheese, caramelized onion, barbecue sauce, on a buttered, toasted steak roll, and you get the idea...
