Good food discovered! Found this place as we were visiting for swim champions. The person working the bar and taking food orders was great. He made the experience visiting welcoming and chatted with me over the good being so good. The meatball sandwich was not drowned in sauce and the meat so tasted. Love it. Was told they cook and smoke their own meats. It shows! First time having Cowboy Caviar, heehee, and so glad we did. This seating inside and out is roomy. Plenty of parking in the lot. Drop by one and you will be back time and again.

Epic in all categories, and I hesitate as I write this as I want to keep this a best-kept secret, but against my better judgment, you have to try this place. Food, service, and the environment are Goldilocks level. If you are in Loomis, you have to stop by.

Good spot to grab a beer and a bite. Staff is friendly and efficient. Good beer selection: there's something for everyone. Food is good: pretty good selection of appetizers and meals. We shared the Cowboy Caviar and enjoyed it. We also had the picked veggies which were ok. PARKING: lots of parking in a gravel parking lot. KID and DOG friendly.

Just Another fake tap house in placer county. We paid 32 bucks for this trash. Note to owner, use real warm cheese and taco chips that are not stale. Maybe get creative and add some tomatoes and other fixings that actually take time and effort. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Someone told us about this place and how they had really good beers, so we took a chance and walked on over. It was super laid back. Chill vibes, kiddos could be there, the train passed here and there, lots of choices no matter what type of beer you got and regulars that seemed pretty comfortable with their local pub and friends. We had some drinks, listened to some music that was being played by a guy and his brother and chilled for an afternoon. Nothing bad to say about this place, a nice hang out.

This place is fantastic and just the local go to bar I have been looking for since moving to Loomis last year! Service is incredibly friendly, food is good and a great rotating beer list! And in a great patio and we will definitely be regulars here...

Fun place to stop and eat. The wines were a bit on the jammy/sweet side but with a nice charcuterie board, you really can't complain. Generous portions and a good beer menu to appease all.

You can imagine my happiness when I stumbled upon this bar/gaming room with the funny German sounding name when I realized it was a glorified pinball arcade room that also served beer. This place is straight amazing-50+ of the greatest pinball machines are available to play. They do use the "game-card" system to pay for these games, which can make playing these games way too easy-games tend to cost about $1 a game in game credits to play, which is far more than I paid when I was an 8 year old kid but then again, that was 45 years ago. They have a pretty solid beer selection-beers tend to go for anywhere between $7-$8 a beer-not too bad in my opinion.Though they do offer a pretty unique item called "Das Boot" which is a pretty large boot that cost $40 and comes with a fill up at time of purchase and 20% off on future fill ups-though not sure what the original cost of a fill up is exactly. One massive upgrade I've learned in the pinball world is nowadays you can download an app by Stern Inc,the majority manufacturer of most of the popular pinball machines and you can register your pinball play and it will keep tabs of everywhere u play and all the scores u achieved on the various pinball machines-I really enjoyed this feature-I only wish they had this when I was in my prime of pinball play when I was a youth. This place doesn't have the best hours but I'm sure there is a reason for these hours-M-F the hours are 5p-10p and on weekends they open at 12p... In closing-If you ever find yourself in the Rocklin area and you get a yearning to try out your pinball machine skills-I couldn't recommend this spot any higher as they are a very unique spot offering a truly awesome experience-a trip down memory lane for some and a whole new world for the younger generation-You should get out there and have some fun. PS-I failed to mention this place is very family friendly-on my particular visit the place was flooded with kids from elementary to high school age honing their pinball machine skills and enjoying every minute of it.

Games are very clean and in excellent playing condition. There's also Stern leaderboards visible along with their own leaderboards for solid state (older) games, which I've never seen anywhere else. The whole space is clean and welcoming. It's loud, but that's because it's a pinball spot. The staff are super friendly and provide great service. The mac n' cheese bites I had last week were freshly prepared (from scratch), cooked to order, piping hot, and totally delicious--and also under $10. The beers and ciders on tap are all mostly from small, local makers and under $10/pint. They also have plenty of NA drink options. If you're a pinball person, I dare you to find a more accommodating spot for playing and vibing out. If you're not a pinball person, this is a great place to fall in love with the game.

House of Oliver at The Fountains is located in what's described as a kiosk, on an island in the middle of a branch of Galleria Blvd., which is the main street of Fountains at Roseville, a popular Placer County shopping and dining destination. You can savor your favorite adult beverage outside, as you relax on the many shaded tables, thanks to the small fence, which makes imbibing state legal. There is a wood burning fireplace put that's lit on chilly winter evenings, to add cheery warmth and ambiance. The dining room at House of Oliver at The Fountains centers around the small bar, that offers several locally brewed micro brews on tap, wine and a small selection of cocktails. Yes, that's it... the small bar and two high tables for two inside. The bar and dining room is about the size of an apartment living room. Where's the kitchen? It's outside, and most of the limited "Small Bites" on the menu come from the main restaurant - I have yet to review - and are packed in ice chests. This small, kiosk location is known for, as the sign reads, "Beer Wine Bites," and is designed as a fine drop-in lounge, where you can unwind during your shopping expedition and enjoy an adult beverage, and some of the simple, fine cuisine the menu offers. The restaurant opened last July, and today was the first day they were offering on-site grilled sandwiches. The chef told me if it all works out, grilling will happen on a regular basis. You can bet I'll stay tuned to their social media! For the first time since the restaurant opened, today they were offering "BBQ Tri-Tip Sandwich," grilled outside, as you watch. As my luck had it, I was the third customer to enjoy a sandwich, on this premiere day of barbecue for House of Oliver at The Fountains. Chef Matthew had wrapped the sandwich with butcher paper, and cut it in half, for easy enjoyment. The sandwich began with a generous helping of tri-tip beef, cut into thin strips, seasoned, marinated and expertly grilled on the Weber propane-fired grill. Grilled bacon was placed on the tri-tip, which truly elevated it to the next level. If that wasn't enough, the talented chef added melted, shredded cheese... oh my! As my sandwich was being prepared, I was asked if I wanted grilled, caramelized onions... sign me up! ... as onions add the "extra mile" to any sandwich. The tri-tip, bacon, onions and cheese were placed on buttered steak roll, which was toasted on the grill, and topped with barbecue sauce, Texas style. The completed sandwich was wrapped in butcher paper, cut in half, and placed in a cardboard box, for take out, or to enjoy in the tiny dining room, or outside on one of the many picnic tables. Mustard, mayonnaise and dill pickle relish were offered inside, but this sandwich was so delicious that it didn't need any enhancements! My first bite... oh my! ... simply delicious! The tri-tip beef was moist, tender and grilled perfectly. Combine the meat with bacon, cheese, caramelized onion, barbecue sauce, on a buttered, toasted steak roll, and you get the idea... Chef Matthew created an amazing tri-tip sandwich! Talk about fine dining with a view! You can enjoy the atmosphere inside the cozy, micro dining room, or relax outside and enjoy the beauty and excitement of The Fountains at Roseville.
