My husband and I frequent this place often for date nights. The wine selection and small plate options are perfect combos and consistently hit the spot. Would really love a tad more improved ambiance however- every time we go it's either trivia DJ playing short clips of oddball music with lively groups being super loud or, echoing silence. Some quiet blues music or a few more decor items to break up the echo and create a bit more coziness would be huge. Also a room divider to block the bathroom view. Stopped in for Mother's Day and so glad we did I love that we have a wine bar so close and indoors for those warm days. They took over the old Starbucks location and they did a great remodel! My mom and I each got a different flight and the charcuterie for two. The owner did a fabulous job of going over our options and pricing if we would like to purchase a full bottle. Great concept ! Wine good, charcuterie ok, ambiance nice! The service was odd! She was aloof and more interested in us filling out a Pilates form to win free classes from another woman owned business, then creating a smooth, lovey experience. Le Bon Vin is such a gem! I had one of their gourmet grilled cheeses, and I'm not exaggerating when I say it's the best grilled cheese I've ever had. The decor and furniture are super cute and cozy--perfect spot to hang out and relax. The owner is awesome, too! We ended up chatting and bonding over soccer, which made the visit even more special. They have a huge selection of wines, and it's so fun to "drink around the world" and try something new each time. If you can, go on a Tuesday--trivia night is a blast! Had stopped to charge in the same plaza and decided to stop by and check it out. The atmosphere is chill and cozy really felt inviting as you walk in. We had Natalie the owner helping us she was great! Super nice and good energy very inviting. We had got flights to try different flavors and when they were brought out we got a little history of each one with their flavor profiles which was really helpful. We were super excited to check out this new shop. We loved Natalie during her tenure at Fourk Lincoln and were happy to hear about her new shop. The prices were excellent and it allowed us to try some new wine we never had before along with some favorites! The decor is tasteful and very comfortable. I had been so curious about this little place...and finally made it in yesterday. If there were more stars to give, hands down I'd give them. The atmosphere is extremely welcoming, and we were lucky enough to have the owner herself provide a detailed description of their wines (which are beyond incredible) and she provided us with one of the most wonderful experiences I've had in a very long time. And the charcuterie board! Hands down one of the best I've had in and around placer county.
