An excellent choice for an easy dinner. A very pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Friendly and attentive staff. Excellent choices of wine and champagne. The steak sandwich is so tender and tasty! Absolute BEST steak sandwich I have had! Best pulled pork sandwich that I have had in the area.

Delicious wine, best burger, friendly service--all added up to a great night at Citizen Vine. My dad enjoyed is chicken bacon tacos and my wagyu bacon jam burger was divine. Good fries. And happy hour price on pinot noir was a nice bonus. Thank to Heather and Austin taking good care of us!

I went with a group of friends for Valentine's Day dinner. They had an amazing sou vide filet for that night and it was freakin amazing. Best steak ever. I told them to put this on the menu permanently! Prices were very reasonable as well.

    The charcuterie board. Amazing!

What a fun and interesting place! We came with friends and there was already a crowd when we arrived at 5:30. That caused us to sit outside in their enclosed patio, but the heat lamps made it just fine, even though it was quite cold outside. This place is primarily about wine and tapas or small plates. After being comfortably seated we perused the menu and decided to share an Amador County Barbera, a nice hearty, yet smooth, red. It was so good we ended up sharing a second bottle. The wine was served in beautiful stemmed glasses, but the water, brought in a carafe, was accompanied by cheap plastic cups. That felt a bit like it was taking away the quality of everything else. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was fabulous. You get to choose some of the items, cheese and protein, and they have a good selection. It was a feast. Perhaps the only downside was there were just four pieces of the salami. That seemed a bit skimpy in comparison to the other items. The board, however, was beautifully presented. Afterwards we individually ordered a couple dishes and I got the poke nachos which were delicious. It could have used some extra chips as the poke was plentiful. It was also super spicy which is just great for me. Overall it was quite tasty. Service was incredibly fun, friendly and kind. It was obvious they enjoyed their job, and we enjoyed chatting with them. I really like this place and if you're just out for a relaxing glass of good wine and some snacks, although plentiful portions, this is a wonderful spot to enjoy it. The price point is also quite good.

    Detroit style deep dish pizza.

Delicious food. I always get their Detroit style deep dish pizzas. The only one I didn't like was the Brie baby. The free for all seating can be annoying. I get the vibe they're going for, but when it's busy maybe just make an actual queue. They have this corner of couches and lounge chairs which I find unnecessary and uncomfortable to sit in if you're partaking in any food. The wait time for receiving your food can be lengthy but the wait is worth it. The service is good, but maybe a little sparse. they play the most random music ever. Maybe make a better playlist but honestly that adds to the charm. It's usually freezing in there so bring a coat

Five stars because the chef sanitized his whole kitchen to make our egg allergic friend's food. That kind of peace of mind is awesome! He even came to our table and explained what he did and what changes he made to her meal and why. This place never disappoints. Staff is always friendly and the food tasty. Festive atmosphere for the holiday season with music at a talkable level.

    Outdoor seating

We came here for happy hour and ended up having dinner along with some wine. The place was full and only had seating at the bar. Our server, Kayla, ensured we would be warm if we sat at tables outside. She turned on the outdoor heaters immediately, and we were very cozy. Kayla was very attentive and provided great customer service. I had a Caesar salad that was on happy hour for $10, and it was delicious. I also had the crostini and ravioli from their specials. Both were delicious, but the ravioli was the best I've ever tasted. It was pricey but i can say it's the best I've had, and I just got back from Italy. 1000% would recommend and I'm looking forward to going back.

    Bottomless Mimosa $20

This is our second time here. Our first was for Happy Hour tapas back in December of 2018. This time, we had reservations for Mother's Day brunch. So stoked to have another chef plated experience having dined almost monthly pre-pandemic at nearby Fourk which is CV's younger sibling. Got in 10 minutes before our 12 noon time slot, so we got to pick our table for three spot. Noticed that the patio was now covered with heatlamps on the ceiling, Military badges adorned the side of the bar and there was beer on tap (out of order sign taped on it though). I got the Bottomless Mimosa, and the wife had the coffee. The only thing was, I had to flag one of the runners to get my second dose and got up to the bar to grab a pour of my third and final mimosa. Not a huge deal as the two servers had their hands full with a sold-out brunch. I think they made it up with a $10 off our final bill. Anyway, the food. Son smothered his Chicken & Waffles with the maple syrup. Gobbled the DF poultry but he wasn't a fan of the homemade batter cake. I, however, finished them as they were belgian waffles and were way better than others we've had. The Mother (or my wife) had the Crab Cakes Benedict, and that was another winning dish. Since It was her day, she got first choice (every day is her day BTW). When dining out, we always try different entrees. I chose the Citizen Vine Breakfast Sandwich. It was served in sourdough, and the provolone, ham, scrambled egg, and tomato combination hit the veritable spot that was my hunger.

Enjoyed this tasty red. One of their several $25 bottles available.

Great food and service, good ambiance. Wine selection was okay (not great) but I am from Sonoma county with access to great wines.

But that's not the only factor that makes us repeat customers. The F&D and the mood. Live music? Of course! For August they introduced new items to their HH bar bites. We got The Wagyu Dog and Crab Cake Bites with the Burger + Caymus deal. First time having a cheeseburger in a steakhouse. You could taste the difference between a grill and a griddle. I ordered a medium and got a medium. Not a pickle fan but loved the in-house butter pickles. The fries were exceptionally seasoned. I requested for mayonnaise and made a pink condiment with the ketchup. The California Cabernet Sauvignon that came with the Burger & Caymus pairing was a blend that I'm probably buying from our local warehouse store. It's not as expensive as it's snobbish Napa Cabernet cousin, but tastes as full bodied with soft tannins. Review's looking lengthy, so I'd just say that the wagyu dog and the crab bites weren't slackers either. Add-on note. All this plus tip is a comprehensible $90+. That's been our average bill every time we come here for Social Hour (3:00 PM - 6:30 PM).
