Delicious wine, best burger, friendly service--all added up to a great night at Citizen Vine. My dad enjoyed is chicken bacon tacos and my wagyu bacon jam burger was divine. Good fries. And happy hour price on pinot noir was a nice bonus. Thank to Heather and Austin taking good care of us!

    The charcuterie board. Amazing!

What a fun and interesting place! We came with friends and there was already a crowd when we arrived at 5:30. That caused us to sit outside in their enclosed patio, but the heat lamps made it just fine, even though it was quite cold outside. This place is primarily about wine and tapas or small plates. After being comfortably seated we perused the menu and decided to share an Amador County Barbera, a nice hearty, yet smooth, red. It was so good we ended up sharing a second bottle. The wine was served in beautiful stemmed glasses, but the water, brought in a carafe, was accompanied by cheap plastic cups. That felt a bit like it was taking away the quality of everything else. We ordered the charcuterie board and it was fabulous. You get to choose some of the items, cheese and protein, and they have a good selection. It was a feast. Perhaps the only downside was there were just four pieces of the salami. That seemed a bit skimpy in comparison to the other items. The board, however, was beautifully presented. Afterwards we individually ordered a couple dishes and I got the poke nachos which were delicious. It could have used some extra chips as the poke was plentiful. It was also super spicy which is just great for me. Overall it was quite tasty. Service was incredibly fun, friendly and kind. It was obvious they enjoyed their job, and we enjoyed chatting with them. I really like this place and if you're just out for a relaxing glass of good wine and some snacks, although plentiful portions, this is a wonderful spot to enjoy it. The price point is also quite good.

    Detroit style deep dish pizza.

Delicious food. I always get their Detroit style deep dish pizzas. The only one I didn't like was the Brie baby. The free for all seating can be annoying. I get the vibe they're going for, but when it's busy maybe just make an actual queue. They have this corner of couches and lounge chairs which I find unnecessary and uncomfortable to sit in if you're partaking in any food. The wait time for receiving your food can be lengthy but the wait is worth it. The service is good, but maybe a little sparse. they play the most random music ever. Maybe make a better playlist but honestly that adds to the charm. It's usually freezing in there so bring a coat

    Outdoor seating

We came here for happy hour and ended up having dinner along with some wine. The place was full and only had seating at the bar. Our server, Kayla, ensured we would be warm if we sat at tables outside. She turned on the outdoor heaters immediately, and we were very cozy. Kayla was very attentive and provided great customer service. I had a Caesar salad that was on happy hour for $10, and it was delicious. I also had the crostini and ravioli from their specials. Both were delicious, but the ravioli was the best I've ever tasted. It was pricey but i can say it's the best I've had, and I just got back from Italy. 1000% would recommend and I'm looking forward to going back.

Five stars because the chef sanitized his whole kitchen to make our egg allergic friend's food. That kind of peace of mind is awesome! He even came to our table and explained what he did and what changes he made to her meal and why. This place never disappoints. Staff is always friendly and the food tasty. Festive atmosphere for the holiday season with music at a talkable level.

We stopped by at Citizen Vine last Sunday . It had been awhile since we had gone . It was just as good as we remember! They have a lot of seating inside but we sat outside in a cute little area with small water fountains very relaxing. They also have some cute outdoor lights . Our waiter Derek he was amazing !! Super friendly and attentive! We ordered the white wine flight and champagne the champagne flight . I really enjoyed the blue champagne I had to get a glass of it after my flight. We shared the charcuterie board I highly recommend getting it . It's one of the best I have ever had so delicious! It's also a generous size . For dessert we ordered the beignets they are so fluffy and delicious ! They came with a side of chocolate sauce . Overall this is a great place to have some great wine or champagne they even have some beers on tap . The food is delicious more of tapas style but very delicious the charcuterie board is a must try and it's pretty big great to share . I highly recommend this place so glad we have it in Lincoln can't wait to go back soon !

This is our second time here. Our first was for Happy Hour tapas back in December of 2018. This time, we had reservations for Mother's Day brunch. So stoked to have another chef plated experience having dined almost monthly pre-pandemic at nearby Fourk which is CV's younger sibling. Got in 10 minutes before our 12 noon time slot, so we got to pick our table for three spot. Noticed that the patio was now covered with heatlamps on the ceiling, Military badges adorned the side of the bar and there was beer on tap (out of order sign taped on it though). I got the Bottomless Mimosa, and the wife had the coffee. The only thing was, I had to flag one of the runners to get my second dose and got up to the bar to grab a pour of my third and final mimosa. Not a huge deal as the two servers had their hands full with a sold-out brunch. I think they made it up with a $10 off our final bill. Anyway, the food. Son smothered his Chicken & Waffles with the maple syrup. Gobbled the DF poultry but he wasn't a fan of the homemade batter cake. I, however, finished them as they were belgian waffles and were way better than others we've had. The Mother (or my wife) had the Crab Cakes Benedict, and that was another winning dish. Since It was her day, she got first choice (every day is her day BTW). When dining out, we always try different entrees. I chose the Citizen Vine Breakfast Sandwich. It was served in sourdough, and the provolone, ham, scrambled egg, and tomato combination hit the veritable spot that was my hunger.

Enjoyed this tasty red. One of their several $25 bottles available.

Nice wine bar in the Twelve Bridges center. They have a happy hour with discounted wine, beer and a few snacks. We had a couple dips, the corn elote and artichoke. We also ordered a chicken flatbread off their main menu and a very tasty brown butter cake topped with apples and the key lime pie. Perfect for a rainy afternoon.

Can't remember the name but this was sooo good. Cheese, jam and bread.

This is our second time and we enjoyed both experiences. Briana (Bri) helped us both times and she was great. Provided good recommendations on food and wine. Manager was very nice too...didn't get his name but he recommended the tacos and Caprese sandwich, both very good. We also got the toffee dessert with ice cream. Yum. We will be back for sure. Pictures are from the two times we went.

RUDEST CUSTOMER SERVICE…read more I cant even begin to express the disappointment in this experience. To be a part of the placer wine trail but offer a horrible experience for the common taster was awful. We had reservations For outdoor seating but due to two small dogs with us they turned us away. Which is understandable due to policy but what isnt is the candor. Im absolutely upset to have been treated this way. The bald man behind the counter who took it upon himself to play "tough guy" really made it difficult to not say something more. Respect and courtesy - even if the customer isn't correct, is necessary. You sir are not being paid enough to act like that. Horrible customer service. Doesn't make me want to come back. The thing for me is - it's just dinner. Theres no need for the hostility that came from that man while trying to understand what their policy is from the receptionist/host. Almost every winery is dog friendly its not insane we would come in to ask. He assigned himself the need to come over the counter and hostilely address us while waiting for her to find the answer in an effort to kick us out. He alone is the reason I cant get over this interaction. So hostile and rude why would I ever go back to get another interaction with him. How would that treatment to paying customers be allowed?... It's fine to ask a question and be turned away. But his approach was unacceptable and unnecessary. How dare we attempt to dine there. We just were waiting to hear back if we could sit on a patio.
