We went to have breakfast we usually go to the Rocklin location. I have heard they are all good. But this has been our go to location. This time I tried something different. I had the Country Benedict. It was amazing! Of course like their other dishes.
I never knew this place existed. My coworkers ended up taking me here for our lunch. We go there and it was packed, pretty crowded for a Tuesday, but I guess it's pretty popular. We waited for a bit, but was sat after. The customer service was really good and everyone there was nice. The interior was cozy and modern. I ended up getting the huevos ranchero which was seasoned well and tasted really good.
Came here with a large group and had a great experience overall. Seating was abundant, which made accommodating everyone easy. The location is a little unexpected -- it's sandwiched between a hotel, a gas station, and a fast food joint -- but it's right by the freeway, so it's super convenient and easy to access. The parking lot was nearly full when we arrived, which is usually a good sign. The menu offers lots of different options, and portion sizes are generous. Most dishes are $20+, but you definitely get a solid amount of food for the price. I ordered the Perfect Combo with French toast. It comes with two thick slices of French toast plus a sourdough-like bread on the side. The French toast had cinnamon and sugar that reminded me of a churro, which I really enjoyed. My only wish is that it had been soaked a bit longer in the batter so it would be more fluffy and soft on the inside. A friend ordered the Maui French Toast with caramelized bananas, and that was really good as well. The eggs, sausage, bacon, and hash browns were pretty standard breakfast staples -- nothing over the top, but solid and satisfying. They also offer a military discount at this location if you let your server know, which is a nice bonus. Overall, I'd recommend this spot, especially if you're coming with a larger group and want generous portions in a convenient location.
Marios early toast is always 5/5 amazing food and service. My go to is always their Maui French toast and I always ask for the caramel sauce on the side. My husband got their California burrito and wow it was massive! It had bacon inside and the melted cheese and pico de gallo on top was delicious. He said he would definitely order it again
The food was nicely seasoned and the eggs were perfectly over medium like I had ordered( I ordered the green enchiladas). The staff were very friendly and welcoming . We went at a busy time but we didn't have to wait long for our orders . My little bro loves the Mickey Mouse pancakes they actually looked pretty good and I'm not a fan of pancakes lol ..
12.05.25 Familiar with Mario's Early Toast fare, this was our first time at this location. We knew we'd be in the area to shop and so last minute planned to grab breakfast here to fuel ourselves for the day ahead. It was a Saturday at around 10:30am, typical weekend morning rush time. We were afraid there'd be a long wait. Walking up, we saw several parties waiting to be seated but still took a chance. When greeted by the hostess, we were told it'd be a 25-30min wait, or we could be seated in the patio. Hubs was more than ok with that immediate seating option, so I just made sure they had heat lamps before agreeing. There were several open tables, as this Saturday was a grey, gloomy, and chilly morning. TG for heat lamps!! Otherwise, I may not have lasted. Our server, Miriam, was so pleasant and friendly, making our entire experience enjoyable and is the main reason for this review being written!!! Food was great, as expected based on our previous visits to the other Roseville locations. But it was Miriam's service that took it to the next level! I do want to add one thing. I ordered a chai latte to keep myself warm on the patio. While it came out piping hot (I ordered extra hot cuz that's how I do), my only qualm is the mugs they use. Initially it looks cool because it looks huge based on how WIDE it is. But the mug is also super shallow. I knew right away that once I started drinking it, my beverage would get cold fast & easily....too much surface space exposed to the cold air and not enough depth to keep it warm! When I order a hot beverage like a latte, I want to be able to drink it over the course of my meal, or most of it at least, without it going cold cuz that's defeats the purpose for me. Because of this, I also ended up ordering a coffee towards the end. But besides that, food was great & came out timely, service was wonderful and I would absolutely return and even bring people! I know Mario's is expanding, and I congratulate him and wish him all the continued success!! He certainly has figured out how to please the crowds and hire the right people to maintain the top-notch quality and standards!!! I'll look forward to more meals in the future. If you're in the area, this location is right off the 80 freeway, so it's convenient to get to with plenty of parking. Check them out when you can and know, anything you order will be great! All while supporting local, you can feel good about spending your money and giving your business here, without a doubt!!!
Auburn's been waiting for this restaurant to open for almost 2 years. Well it's here and so far so good. We've only gone for breakfast and it was super good. My only complaint is they don't offer real espresso drinks, auto Machine style only. Looking forward to trying their lunch and dinners. Right outside lake of the pines gate which is a win/win for us.
From the looks of the restaurant outside and when you get inside, you feel very welcome, the employees are friendly. The decor is spot on and it feels like a really neat place to hang out for a while and have a great meal. One of the cleanest, nicest eateries I've been in. We weren't so impressed with the food and I absolutely hate giving not so good reviews which I rarely do, but it wasn't the service (which was stellar), it was the food that didn't taste as we both expected it too, especially with the reviews from recent. I'm very disappointed because I really wanted this to be our new place to go visit for brunch or breakfast, but it just fell short for us. Maybe it was just a bad day, I hope. This place seems to do quite well with the locals.
Met friends for brunch/lunch and enjoyed a beautiful Sunday outside in covered dining area. So many delicious sounding options and I decided on the corned beef hash with egg whites and sourdough toast. Toast usually doesn't even get a mention, but it was delicious. Thicker than Texas toast and the sourness from the sourdough with melted butter was heavenly. The egg whites were cooked well, nice sized potato chunks but sadly, the corned beef was a miss. Cubed, not dry but not tender, and tasted like it had been sitting in water...completely flavorless. The skillet overall was bland but a little salt and pepper saved the day for the egg whites and potatoes. My most favorite thing was the sourdough toast..absolutely delicious.
Wanted to find a new place to add to our brunch list and this was a must try. They have seating both inside and outside, with outside being pet friendly which is a major plus. I have tried a few items so far and enjoyed every one of them. The first was a BLT, which comes with a decent amount of tasty bacon and fresh seasonal fruit for my side. The second time I got a Maui French toast. It had such a nice crunch, with so many wonderful flavors but boy oh boy is it sweet, you might want to add on a savory side to help with some of the sweetness. We've enjoyed all the food we've ordered and will for sure be back again with family & friends. The only thing I wish is they brewed their own iced tea, as the taste of the Lipton tea is terrible. But if you like mimosas they definitely have a bunch of flavors for you to try!
Stopped in this morning around 1030 for breakfast. This location is always very busy but they do a great job turning tables. We were quoted a 20-25 min wait and we were seated about 20 mins later. Our waitress Angie was super attentive even as she had multiple tables. I ordered basic bacon and eggs breakfast and my husband got crepes - all was great - I forgot to take food pics as I was so hungry - need more waitresses like Angie as she was attentive and fast ... out foo came out quick too!! She als kept out coffee filled and warm ... it was loud in the booth as the back area was packed with families and kids were screaming ...otherwise a nice decorated atmosphere. Luckily I found a parking spot right out front as others were circling since apparently the hotel and fast food restaurants will tow your vehicle if you park in their areas. Mario's is always a great choice!!
The service was great here. Very large inside great for big parties. My only complaint on the food would be that the hashbrowns were undercooked and under seasoned. They have a great selection on their menu and probably the biggest mimosa menu I have ever seen. We had the smoked salmon, avocado toast, which was absolutely delicious. However, do be aware. They are very large portions you might want to share. I would totally recommend this place especially if you're looking for something
Fabulous! Way to many choices on the menu. Everything looked super tasty. I finally chose from the Hawaiian section - yeah me. Yummy. Egg, rice, steak, onion, avocado w flavorful seasonings. Included was sourdough toast. So much scramble, I had enough for tomorrow's breakfast. As I looked around the guest appeared happy and full. The restaurant was lively. Our waitress was pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu choices. Food was served promptly. Only disappointment was of my own fault. I didn't order the mimosa flight. For sure next time.

I always heard about Mario's Early Toast, but I never had the chance to check it out until recently. I was surprised to see my favorite meal on the menu! It was called The Body Builder, and it included chicken breast, egg whites, rice, and avocado. I came here after a good workout and it worked out perfectly to have the healthy meal! I thought the chicken was tasty and the meal was good. I also ordered a protein pancake to try out and it was good! The service was good and our server made sure we were taken care of. It's hard to find good service these days, and I'm glad we had a great server. I think his name was Kaden or something similar. There were plenty of other menu items that I'd like to try out. I would definitely come back if I am ever in the area. read more

The restaurant was really busy at the time. We had to park at the hotel but luckily we found a spot after checking in. I recommend coming after 12 to find parking. They do have signs in the restaurant warning about getting towed if parked at other businesses. As for the food, everything was delicious! Every time I order an omelette from a restaurant, they always turn out watery and/or soggy but this wasn't it at all. The egg was actually firm and they had a good balance of meat and vegetables in it. There was nothing to criticize about the benedict. I actually sort of wanted to switch my omelette for the benedict lol The waffle was really good too. It wasn't really sweet compared to other restaurants and it didn't really become soggy (it was saved for last). If I'm ever in the Roseville/Rocklin area again, I would definitely come back. read more

I'm surprised this place only has a 3.9 on Yelp. We gave it a try based off of Google's reviews and it did not disappoint. Servings were large. My cappuccino was outstanding. My husband's caramel macchiato was delicious as well. I had the crêpes he had an omelette. Huge portions. We shared everything. Definitely stop here for breakfast. Our waitress Astrid was attentive and sweet. read more

Really nice place if you're having breakfast or lunch with friends or family. I was roadtripping alone. I sat in the outside garden area (covered) on a brisk winter morning the space heaters made it very comfortable. The staff was very attentive and welcoming, the vibe was cool lots of families I had lemon blueberry pancakes and coffee that they kept topped off and hot! The pancakes were very sweet maybe a little too sweet for my taste but they have a decent size menu so lots to choose from on my next visit.. I got real lucky and got front row parking, but BEWARE not to park in any of the nearby businesses there are signs everywhere warning that Jack n box TOWS!! Anyways I had a good breakfast and got right back on the road. read more
Had brunch here one morning with my friend. They have several locations in Sacramento and Placer Counties, but this is the one we decided to go to that day. Very friendly and fun decor inside. Especially love the tongue in cheek sign hanging in the front that says, "Mimosas served here for golfer wives". Totally suburbia. Haha. The food here is kind of mid or at least I didn't like my order. It could be the annoying fly. I'm sure the mimosas are good tho we didn't have any. My americano came in a huge cup. I got the Sofia's Swedish crepes and it was so sweet. I was eating it and this fly kept landing on this one crepe, so i kept swatting it away and finally I just didn't finish the dish where the fly landed. I also got a side of bacon and that was yummy. My friend got the Chilaquiles del Chef and likes it. Nice place overall. May try it again next time but I will probably order something else and hope they fix the fly issue. EXCELLENT!!! The food was excellent, I definitely recommend this place. I had the combo breakfast that came with eggs, bacon and sausage hash browns and I chose the protein pancakes. My girlfriend got an omelette with Hollandaise sauce on it. The protein pancakes were delicious!!! I will definitely come back to this place. And I highly recommend it. read more
Arrived on a Monday at 11'ish. Ordered the country fried steak and a vanilla latte. The country fried steak was awesome, full of flavor and piping hot. The eggs were hot and fresh and the hashbrowns are tasty as well. The only drawback is the parking. Can't believe the busiest restaurant in the block doesn't have enough parking. Crazy that they will tow you if you park anywhere else. Will be back and it looks like they have a couple locations. read more

Great service and an incredibly attentive staff made this brunch spot a standout! We were seated quickly, even with the place already lively at 8AM. The menu has so many tempting options, it's definitely worth coming back to try more. If you're not sure where to start, the chilaquiles are a must and don't skip the pancakes! Overall, a fantastic brunch experience we'll be repeating. read more
I appreciate a Cheesecake Factory level menu. However since this is its one shot it's hard to narrow it down. I even asked the server what she recommends. She said the chili verde but like a dingus I said oh I'll get the chicken fried steak. I am well versed in chicken fried steak. I have had many. I liked the size and thickness of it. The bad is that it was way overcooked. So much so that I sent it back. I then requested a side of the chili verde. It was awesome. Now if I was thinking clearly I would have replaced my steak with a similarly priced verde omelette. My nephew got the Maui French toast. It was very tasty. He had to go somewhere after breakfast so I ended up with the leftovers. Yum. My brother in law recommended this place and for as fit of a guy as he is, he is a solid guide. If in the neighborhood I'd come back. Chili verde next time though. read more

We had a full family breakfast here. They were super accommodating of our party of 12. We got our drinks quick, and food relatively quick too. Everything was tasty and pretty big portions! They were accommodating and turned on the heaters when it was cold for us on the patio. Easy for food substitutions and minimal upcharges. Very good service and good food! read more

I came in for a brunch meal today with my brother. We were greeted and helped out by multiple people but summer was our server. She was very friendly and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The freshly brewed tea and raspberry tea was very delicious! I ordered the basic breakfast combo with eggs and sausage links. They have the best sausage sausages here :) the only thing I didn't like was that the bell peppers and onions inside of the breakfast potatoes was very salty but the potatoes itself was not salty. Also we ordered a clam chowder and I didn't realize how big it was lol the soup was very delicious as well , thank you for taking great care of us summer! We will be back in definitely for a mimosas :p read more

Such a great brunch place with a loaded and full menu of options. They pretty much have anything you can think of for brunch and more! We loved the service and how quick they were. We also had mimosas with unique flavors (guava, passion fruit, peach, pineapple, etc), expect they just tasted like champagne. It gets super packed so definitely come early or expect a wait. They have great outdoor and indoor seating options and tvs posted with the game on. Ambiance gives a traditional busy Sunday brunch spot. read more

Solid breakfast spot,busy at 11am Monday morning with a 10 minute wait. Loco moco: Medium ground beef patties, steamed rice, smothered in mushroom gravy with two fried eggs over medium, scallions. Good hearty, filling breakfast. Viscoti Avocado Toast: Good sourdough bread base, mashed avocado, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella,basil, balsamic glaze drizzle,over medium eggs. Not bad, healthy , substantial & nourishing. Quick attentive service, hour's of 6am-3pm everyday. Clean bathrooms. Outdoor seating area open in warmer climate. Extensive Mimosa menu. read more

A great breakfast and lunch restaurant. So many choices on the menu. So many friendly staff members! They make you feel welcome. The portions are very large. You can also order a la carte. I ordered two poached eggs on toast and the eggs were perfectly poached just the way they should be. Hubby ordered a huge combo breakfast plate, he loved it, food cooked perfectly. We will keep this on the top of our list for breakfast spots! read more

The protein waffle with 40g of protein (coupled with a side of Bacon) was my lunch today. I can't believe that I cannot taste an ounce of protein powder in this it tastes even better than a waffle farm waffle. It has a richness to it that the normal yellow waffle doesn't. The bacon was like crack cocaine. Thick and well cooked but not chalky and burnt. So good I took some to go. Despite his hilarious YouTube parodies of Nacho Libre, this Mario guy is quite amazing. 1st time visit. This is now my favorite pace for breakfast and lunch. The menu is comprehensive to the point of amazement. Ate (Well couldn't finish the humungous portions) of the Perfect 2 combo breakfast. 4 pieces of French toast, two eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausages, a platter of hash brown potatoes. All cooked perfectly. All arranged prettily on the plates. All the ingredients of fine quality. Even my green tea was a Japanese source Sencha. And they gave me 2 tea bags and two cups of boiling water. That's way better than the Bigelow's you get in other breakfast restaurants. So, there's my 2,000 calories for the day on the plates. For the mere price of $18.50. The value for the price is simply outstanding. Service: Greeter, servers, manager, owner (who was in the house) were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. I want them all to be my new best friends. At 10:00am the dining room was full. The happy chatter was infectious. Everyone loves this place. After you eat here you will Never return to IHOP. Come, sit, eat, enjoy. read more

Consistency, quality, and service are always on the Menu at Mario's. Rocklin location is my closest and never disappoints. Early is in the name of this spot for a reason - you must come early because it will get busy. The food and ambiance call the masses to eat and drink...and they listen! Most spots offer something for everyone, but a full page dedicated to those with fitness goals?!? I've never seen that. The meal options don't sound plain and boring either.
