Our son's orthodontist is just across the street thus we decided to pop in while we waited. The restaurant has a simple clean vibe and the food is super fresh. The owner was really nice which made the experience even better!

Menu cover reflects the vib! Nice cover.

Invited for a gathering here and was pleasantly surprised! Small well run, clean, and cozy little cafe. Tucked away in a place most wouldn't normally find. The Lady who owns it has made it her own. A former Mexican restaurant; she has completed the change to a lovely American cafe. Friendly service and above average cafe fare is in keeping with the 'Window Box' theme. I had an excellent Belgian waffle and a rasher of beautiful bacon. The coffee was excellent and the cup was kept full! Handicap parking at the door, outside seating in nice weather and a hop skip and jump from Roseville's Costco.

    Cute window seat.

Ambiance- clean look inside and out. Yellow and Pastel inside, lots of windows and garden views. Multiple rooms inside give it a cottage feel. Service - very good and friendly Food - reasonably priced. We enjoyed our meal. California omelet and mini pancakes wasnbareky finished, a lot of food. Good hashbrowns. Chicken fried steak - good patty, gravy was a little bland, but I am not a gravy on my meet guy. Very good country potatoes and eggs. Mini pancakes (2 - 5 inch cakes) was just enough to round off the meal and barely able to eat it all.

    SO GOOD

This little breakfast/brunch spot has a special place in my heart. It's so cute inside and the food is so gooood! Service is great and I've never had any complaints! I recommend their cinnamon roll if you're craving something sweet in the A.M!

Not a lot of people on a Thursday morning however we stood at the front desk for a while before the waitress noticed we were there. Only one other couple dining at the time we got there. Quaint yet clean place. Very chill and service was quick. Would come back again.

    Cute as a button!

I never knew this restaurant existed until Yelp -- I was glad to see it and have been twice. Each time was yummy!

Big menu, great little patio, great service, exceptional pancakes and crepes. Good spot for family brunch with the dog.

Ask the Community - Window Box Cafe

    Do they take reservations?

Not that I know of but you can always try and request. They're very friendly and helpful there.

Any gluten-free options on the menu?

    Yes

Do they charge he for splitting food? My 88 year old mom went there and she wanted to share a waffle but they said there was a charge for that.

I went there and asked for an extra plate to split with my friend and there was NO charge. They said there is only a charge if the cooks split the food up in the kitchen for us.

Except for the last two weeks since I was on a mission to save $$$. Gu is not cheap, it's pricey but I find it worth the money because it's that good! Anyways, there must have been a change of staff since I haven't seen my usual people for my last two orders. The avocado coffee was sweeter than their usual, I like my coffee strong. Vietnamese coffee-strong. I feel like they added too much condensed milk on their coffee, and I don't want to have that same experience for the 3rd time. I might take a break again from Gu and hopefully the usual baristas will be back soon. Ambience inside is always nice, although the newer baristas should be a little more welcoming as well.

Someone came to the front and greeted me as I began to order off the kiosk. They then offered to take my order, so I ended up ordering with the worker. It's a small place. There wasn't anyone inside when I visited, but there's just a few spots to sit on along the walls. As others mentioned, the drinks contain a large amount of ice, but I thought it was a good drink. I'm not sure what the purpose was of the paper they put over the top of the cup, but I took it off after leaving the shop.

This was my first visit and I'm already planning a return trip. My friend and I arrived on a Saturday morning around 9:15am and were easily able to find parking in the rear parking lot, which is closest to the entrance to the Café. You need to walk through the store to get to the Café entrance. We were quickly seated and provided with beverages. Once we ordered our food, it came out very quickly and was delicious. The service was also attentive and friendly. I had an excellent chocolate scone, which was warm, and I slathered it with butter. Delish! My zesty scramble had a bit of a spicy kick, which I enjoyed. The portion was large enough that I could make it into two meals. My friend loved her breakfast burrito, which is an entrée that she tries whenever she can find it on a restaurant menu. This one did not disappoint. She also had a side of bacon and commented that she received a lot of bacon. I told her that you can NEVER have too much bacon. The coffee is from Vaneli's, a local Rocklin company. We had a great breakfast and want to return soon for lunch. As someone who lives in Sacramento, it is definitely worth the drive to Rocklin to visit Pottery World Café. After the meal, we perused the store and all of its wonderful furniture, clothing, and home decor items. It was a fun morning.
