What good is chicken fried steak without gravy ? No use. Twenty dollars wasted. Called back no real solutions.

Great experience today at this location , when it was time to go , server offered to go drink , extra gravy for my leftover portion of the breakfast I couldn't finish. Food was on point , with over the top service. My server knew how to please her customers.

I came here for my mom's birthday brunch since we used to visit their other location and always enjoyed it, so we gave this spot a try since we had a bigger group and needed easier parking. Luckily this location had that covered! The decor was cute and gave off fun bayou vibes. They even had a little area to buy merch which added to the charm. The staff were friendly and did a decent job, though we had to flag them down a few times. With a bigger group, that kind of thing happens, so no biggie. The portions for both food and drinks were generous. The drinks were a little too sweet for my taste, and overall, the food just wasn't super memorable this time around. I tried one of the pastries and it was a bit dry, but thankfully they served the apple filling on the side and it was delicious, it helped balance it out. If I hadn't been to their other location before, I might have written it off completely. But I know they've got some great dishes, so I'll probably give them another shot in the future and hope for a better experience.

Yo sorry this review is several months late but I STILL REMEMBER CRISPY RED POTATOES. EXTRA CRISPY. Overall this is a good place to come to get a filling breakfast/brunch/lunch with a group of friends! We came here to celebrate my partner's birthday so that was fun and cute and they gave him a birthday beignet so that was nice of them! Atmosphere - It was giving me Louisiana, southern swamp style vibes due to the decor and menu items. It's a welcoming place with booth seating and tables as well. We sat in a booth so yay that's what we like. Service - Service was good! I don't remember our server's name but she was so nice and real with us. She helped me make important decisions for food. She was the one that told us about the extra crispy red potatoes and let me tell you, THANK YOU! Cost - $16ish is the average for main entrees, you can get snacks/shareables for like $8 not including tax and tip. Parking - They have a parking lot that can fit a good amount of cars, at least 20? Location - I'm not too familiar with Roseville so it was pretty easy to find and they do have other locations! I'm coming again for these crispy red potatoes and I gotta try another dish because they have a lot of selections and they sounded and smelled good.

This was a little out-of-the-way, but I met a friend out in this area for breakfast and some great conversation. I had never been here before so I didn't know what to expect. The prices were higher than I expected, but the food was good. Kind of reminds me of a blackbear diner but seems to be more expensive. I do like the Huckleberry theme because I like huckleberries so had to get a huckleberry muffin for later. I liked the peach tea which is customizable and comes in a huge jar, our server was great and checked on us often and also gave us time and space to talk. The only reason I'm dropping a star is cause it seems a dollar or two too expensive on each item. It's definitely not your bargain breakfast.

Well the service and coffee were good. I had the worst Benedict I've ever had. The eggs were over cooked and the balsamic overwhelms the creaminess of the hollandaise, actually just beat the crap out of it. The side potatoes were a mix up of under cooked potatoes and under cooked bell peppers.

came here 9/17/2024 for early lunch. Inside was super cute and family friendly environment. I came with my friends and they often come here to the point the servers all know them. Super friendly. I got the New Orlando Skillet and it was super big and delicious. The creole sauce on top of the potato, egg, sausage, cheese, mushroom, and cheese made everything better. It reminds me a little of salsa. I as also able to try the fried green tomato and it was the best. I usually hate tomato but this was barely have any heavy tomato taste. The sauce that it came with is a perfect match. I didn't notice they have strawberry lemonade so I got peach tea. I didn't expect some actual peach in the drink. A very refreshing drink. It was slightly sting at first, but as the ice dilutes the tea, it'll the flavors are still there. Lots of options to chose from. Defiantly have to try the waffles next time.

Fall is here- Cranberry Mimosas were surprisingly DELIGHTFUL!

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our Saturday Breakfast-Date meal @ Huckleberry's. My Chicken and Waffles meal hit the spot of a week long craving and my boyfriend's chicken fried steak was plentiful and flavorful! Devin, our waiter had such great energy, super attentive yet chill and everything he suggested was on point-- don't sleep on their cranberry mimosa, it's the season people. Do it! This review is simply an acknowledgment of a good vibes and food experience that kicked off our beautiful Saturday to a great start! Happy Tummies!

Let's start with the friendly service, Desera, she was very knowledgeable and did I say friendly was amazingly cheerful! We ordered 2 Breakfast burritos with andoui sausage, one bubbas Burger, 3 crab Benedict, Cajun fries loaded with chili and cheese, and a regular cheese burger with bacon! The girl where every happy with their Benedict said it was very tasty but did lack some crab flavor and some texture, the hamburgers where excellent! And definitely up order the Cajun fries well worth it! The burritos were good very tasty and filling! Overall excellent meal and would frequent this establishment again! The price was also right for 7 people

Bayou Bloody Mary (has bacon & an olive in there as well)

I usually go to another Huckleberry's location, but wanted to try a different spot just to compare. Came on a Saturday morning and while there was a good amount of people, we only waited 5 minutes for 2 of us. The bayou theme feel was the same, but the layout here is more tight and sectioned off. My bestie ordered a Bloody Mary & the bayou style catfish with gumbo. She liked the flavor of her drink and thought the balance of alcohol was just right. She really enjoyed her meal & found it all tasty! I got a coffee & California Benedict with potatoes, added onions and bell peppers. The coffee was fine. I was a little disappointed with my meal. There was still some rawness to the onions & peppers in my potatoes. I also found the flavor of my Benedict lackluster. The tomato added a firm veggie texture, but didn't bring anything flavor-wise. When I was more than halfway done, I remembered & realized I didn't see or taste any balsamic drizzle as described on the menu. Maybe that would have made a difference, but I was already finishing up. We had a great server who was attentive without being overbearing, and we felt a friendly vibe from many of the staff.

Ambiance gives the Bayou theme feel. Clean surroundings, even the restroom. Music not so loud. Appears to be a hit for people. Service was excellent. Food was great as always. On our second visit then, we have to wait for a long time of about more than 30 mins. The table keep filling up. They cannot give us a table since we are a big party. We did not like the long wait but, anyway, This has been our third time here. Loving the food still.

A little pressure to compared to Denny's but it didn't get crab cakes so what do I expect

A classic breakfast sounded good at the time... From the breakfast menu I chose the Juke Box Special but the friendly server suggested the Soldier Boy instead which was basically the same thing except this included grilled potatoes and only one pancake. The server urged me to try the potatoes... omgosh! it was so good, they were grilled and I love the crunchiness. Nothing fancy on the menu just good, ole' classic home cookin' and diner "comfort food." Breakfast is served all day. Chubby's Diner is a small, friendly, neighborhood diner that is as retro as it gets down from the decor and food. Friendly customer service! Review #3982

I'm not a fan of onions, so I did not have those, but it was nice to have the lettuce and the tomatoes have that nice taste when it hasn't been smothered in BBQ sauce or others as it's being cooked by the chicken like other places prepare them. I ordered a mocha and the sweet cheese crepes. My mocha was the perfect balance of sweetness and chocolatey! I savored every sip. The real star of the show though, were the crepes. They were perfectly soft but with a slight crisp on the outside just like I like them. The filling was sweet but not overly and was well balanced with the slight bitterness from the berry topping on the crepes. There is also a side area to eat, however there were a number of flies buzzing around, which made it unappetizing (this was kept my review from being a full five stars). The indoor area is a mix of dark woods and faux plants, which creates a relaxed atmosphere. As for the food, there was only one plant-based (vegan friendly) option for me: the cilantro lime avocado toast. This came topped with micro greens and pickled onions, and with a side of potatoes. The portions were very generous for the price and the food was delicious. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time and the staff were kind. I also ordered an Americano that was good. This spot is like a little hidden green jewel in Citrus Heights. I hope more businesses fill out this complex so they can continue to do well.
