We had a wonderful experience; the food was delicious, particularly the homemade biscuits and amazing pancakes. We truly appreciated the warm welcome and the opportunity to speak with one of the sisters. It was a heartfelt conversation, and it is clear that your establishment is run with a lot of love. To anyone looking for a really good place to eat, look no more. If we are ever in the area again that is our go to place. 5 stars isn't enough to rate this place. PS. Lisa we will remember you forever.

During that time, they served me a glass of water and I quickly ordered the BBQ Chicken sandwich - I had looked at the menu earlier - with a side of fruit. The sandwich was really great! They served the sandwich with the grilled, chicken breast, bacon, and BBQ sauce with the lettuce, tomatoes, and onions on the side. I'm not a fan of onions, so I did not have those, but it was nice to have the lettuce and the tomatoes have that nice taste when it hasn't been smothered in BBQ sauce or others as it's being cooked by the chicken like other places prepare them. I honestly left satisfied. This place really did live up to the recommendations and reputation it has. Our gym, Positive Impact Fitness always talks about this place and it was really worth it. I shall return in due time.

Bold flavors, expert preparation, pretty on the plate and generous portions. Bambie had the 1/2 chicken fried southern style. Crispy ouside, soft and moist inside. Side of mash potatoes, side of perfectly sauteed carrot slices. I had a cesar salad. Fresh, crisp, again a big portion. The dressing was a perfect blance of creamy, piquant and a tad peppery. The croutons were crisp and flavorful. Best Cesar salad that I've had in years. My main dish was the pork carnitas tacos. Topped with heaping mounds of shredded cabbage. Creamy sauce on the cabbage. A side of mild-ish chipotle salsa served on the side to pour on the carnitas. The tacos were so big that they were almost too unwieldly to hold. But I persevered and gobbled them like there is no tomorrow. Satisfying. A big hungry guy will be perfectly happy after polishing off the plate. Wine selection is small but has the usual good suspects in the reasonable price range. Mostly California wines. I live 2 miles from this place. Tonight was my first visit. Oh yeah I'll be a frequent return customer. Highly recommended.

We had no reservation and ask the tables were full. He said we could sit at the bar immediately, so we took him up on it. I asked about an old fashion and he said it was his favorite and a specialty of the place. He was right! Next we met Brett, the mixologist. My wife got a vodka cranberry and I got my old fashioned. I asked about the whiskey and he said it was Whistlepig 10 year. Next we asked Franklin about special dishes and he suggested the southern fried Mary's chicken with bacon gravy , which my wife ordered. I ordered the bacon fig jam burger with Brie cheese. Of course we had to have the pesto fries! Everything was 5 stars! We also met Q and Graham . Every single person we met was very friendly and welcoming. We also met Nate. He was at the bar and a regular here. Very nice as well. My wife and I both agree this will babe one of our favorite, go to places.

Bar was packed, but we managed to find a few seats after a few minutes. The environment is lively around this time of the day, I usually see people waiting a bit to be seated. The bartender/service was great! They immediately took our orders and received them right away - calamari, Spicy Za'atar Hummus, a golden draak and a Delirium Tremens. They also let us know when happy hour was nearing its end so we ended up getting another round. Overall, the experience is great - the happy hour food and beverage selection is awesome for the price and will continue to swing by.

The food was half off and the Mai Tais were $2 off each one. Our server was Brittney, who was awful. She's very attentive, very friendly, and very helpful. She made some great suggestions, too. The place is so busy, and load, today. Yet Brittney had plenty of time to attend to our wishes and never made us feel rushed. . Even though we've been here several times, I can't say we had a server as great as Brittney. When we come back next time we're definitely going to ask for her. My husband had the birria and Carne Asada - 2 taco combination plate. He doesn't care for the beans and rice, and Brittney suggested he could have a salad or fries. The only problem was the tacos were too small, especially for $19 no tacos on Happy Hour menu.
