The customer service is very kind and the food is what you come to expect from Pause, but the parking is absolutely awful. It's a very small lot with minimal street parking, some people parking in fire zones due to the lack of parking. All of the businesses around the coffee shop tell customers to not park in their lots which makes sense since the Pause customers spend time enjoying the coffee shop. Complaints aside, if you can find parking, this location is adorable, clean, a bit loud, and the service is faster than the Fair Oaks location. read more

Pause coffee house- located on Taylor road! They have a nice sized parking lot and also street parking! The inside of this coffee shop is surprisingly really big they have like 3 different rooms. I got an iced Carmel macchiato and a bear pastry. The pasty was so good and huge! The iced drink was really good! The ambiance of this place is really nice and they also sell things from local business which I loved! The service was good! read more

12.11.2025 Thank U Yelp for guiding me here!!! I happened to be in the area & was heavily craving a warm matcha tea drink. I looked up locations that provided matcha & ran across this tiny gem! I almost was desperate to go to SB that is in the plaza where Taco Bell & Raleys is.... GLAD I DIDN'T!.!.!.! I am soO happy to explore different coffee houses & this is another gem I randomly found! I saw on their menu there is strawberry matcha & a banana flavored one. That looked intriguing, but bcuz it is currently December, I will visit when it gets a bit warmer or if I am in the mood for a cooler drink I will visit here for the other flavors. Its very cute and relaxing inside & comfy feeling. Definitely recommend if your close by! I am very satisfied with how they made their matcha!!! I don't recommend, they do not have good customer service. I've been to the rocklin one and that one was great. But they are very different. The rocklin one has much better options. After multiple times coming here I never want it again. read more

Discovered a new location of a local group I like. Nice seating available with ample patio seating with a lot of shade on a nice deck. Others are fair, and I do love their iced Summer Peach tea. Good WiFi as I did a little work inside. Parking is limited on the side in a private lot. Ramp at entrance is well made for foot traffic or other needs. read more

A terrific spot to take a "pause" in a day. The coffee flavor was OK, however, their freshly prepared food items were fantastic. The avocado toast was tasty & plentiful (maybe consider a splash of balsamic). Their bagel sandwiches are spot on. The location also has plenty of space to enjoy your "pause" in peace. A welcomed treat was finding the young girls working the shop were listening to upbeat worship music. Kudos! read more

Good for coffee not so much for food. The service was very plain and definitely did not go above and beyond, but I got my coffee and I got my food. I had to ask for a bag for my five pieces that I was carrying out which I think would've been common courtesy to offer, but I don't think that reflects the entire staff. Pause Coffee House in Loomis is one of those places that immediately makes you feel welcome. They offer a great variety of coffees, teas, and refreshing specialty drinks like lemonade. Their treats look delicious (and taste just as good), making it a perfect spot to grab a snack alongside your drink. The vibes here are relaxed and inviting, whether you're hanging out inside or enjoying the outdoor seating. It's a cozy space for catching up with friends, reading a book, or just taking a moment to yourself. The staff are always friendly and get drinks out quickly, even during busier times. One of my favorite things about Pause is their selection of local merchandise -- especially the Chai from North Fork Chai Co., which is hands-down my favorite. It's great to see a local business supporting other local makers. If there's one downside, it's that they close at 4 PM -- which totally makes sense for a coffee shop, but it does make it tricky to swing by after work. In all honesty, though, that might be saving me from spending all my money here! Pause Coffee House is a true hidden treat in Loomis, and absolutely worth a visit. read more

Had a great experience visiting this Pause Coffee House location the other day! It's my favorite coffee shop. I've been visiting the Rocklin location frequently for a few years but I really enjoyed this location. It's very well kept with lovely decor, friendly baristas, and free wifi to get any work done. I love the other Pause locations, so I was excited to check this new spot out. Aesthetically, it's my favorite one! Very warm and cozy vibe, less industrial feeling than their other locations, which is not at all my vibe. Drinks and food tasted consistent with the other locations as well. Girls working the bar were professional and friendly. Now, this is my only critique and I am only saying it because I often find the music to be a fairly large factor in my overall experience spending time in a coffee house-- the reason I don't see myself returning (other than to grab a drink to go) is that they exclusively played Christian worship music. If this is your thing, I encourage you to go and enjoy! You'll love the music and they have great coffee to go with it. However, it is not my thing and I don't see myself returning for that reason except to grab a drink to go. read more

Stopped by Pause Coffee in Loomis the other day, and it's quickly becoming a favorite. They whip up a great sugar-free vanilla latte--no burnt taste, which is a nice change. Plenty of parking and seating makes it an easy spot to relax. They've only been open since May but already feel like part of the community. Proud to have them in town. So welcoming! The staff is so friendly and helpful when I'm trying to pick a drink. The food is yummy. I recommend the jalapeno bagel, extra toasted. I love the small town feel that this coffee shop embodies. My favorite part is the deck. I've met some real cute pups at this location too. It's a great place to pick up a quick coffee. Also, delicious pastries! I hope that they start serving their chocolate brownie pastry and their scones at this location soon, those are my favs! But I also love the almond croissant and poppy seed danish. The bear claw is great too. I have so much to say, but overall, this place is great! read more
