We had a pretty good dinner at Yard House in Roseville. The atmosphere is lively, there's plenty of seating, and it's a nice option for a casual dinner, date night, or meeting up with friends. I started with the chicken tortilla soup, which was creamy and flavorful with avocado, cilantro, and crispy tortilla strips on top. I really enjoyed that and would order it again. For dinner, I ordered the bone-in ribeye medium rare with mashed potatoes and broccolini. The steak was cooked correctly and had nice grill marks, but it was pretty light on seasoning. I personally like at least a little salt and pepper on my steak, and once I added some myself, it made a big difference. The broccolini could have been better as well. It didn't have much flavor and I would have preferred it cooked a little longer. The mashed potatoes were creamy and paired well with the steak. Overall, the portions were generous and the food was good, but a little more seasoning and attention to the vegetables would have made the meal much better. Still a solid 4-star experience, and there are plenty of other menu items I'd come back to try. Service was great! read more

My first time at Yard House and I'm so glad I went! I went with a friend on a Sunday evening just to have some drinks and enjoy a lowkey, casual night, and it was honestly perfect. The ambiance was beautiful dimmed lighting, good music, and such a great atmosphere. Our server, Natasha, was so sweet and kind. She was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. We ordered four different appetizers and everything was SO good! But the Poke Nachos absolutely stole the show for me. If it's your first time, I 100% recommend trying them. We also each had two cocktails, and I loved that you could genuinely taste all the ingredients that's listed on the menu in the drink unlike other places. The Malibu Peach and Passion Fruit Spritz were both so flavorful and delicious. I'll definitely be adding Yard House to my list of favorite restaurants and I'll be coming back for sure. I came in with a large group and we had two servers. Both were very nice and accommodating. The food here is great. I always get the jambalaya, but my coworkers get tons of different things and they always seem to enjoy their food. My negatives are that the food takes forever to come out. Maybe the kitchen can't handle an influx of items, but it really does take a while to get food. My biggest qualm is that they don't show that they added tip for large parties on the receipt. Even while you are there and look at the "detailed" receipt it is not there. I don't want to not leave a tip, so I left a small tip while being confused why my bill was so high. After getting the receipt emailed to me I found that they add the tip into the subtotal without telling you. This is bad business practice in my opinion. How could you bury the tip in there and not say so in the detailed receipt? I reached out to Yard House via email and didn't get a response. I'm not going to file a dispute with my credit card over $6, but this should really be looked at. read more

This was my 1st Yard House experience when we visited the one in Roseville, California. The place was fun and exciting with multiple sports screens going at the same time. The menu was daunting with dozens of dozens of beers and specialty drinks. For appetizers, we got the blackened Ahi Sashimi and the Fried Calamari. The Fried Calamari came with a mild horseradish sauce and a cocktail sauce. The calamari was crisp and delicious. The Ahi was served with wasabi, radishes, small tomatoes with a nice soy sauce. The blackened crust and the top grade tuna made it the star of the day. It was simply fantastic. The waiters were on top of their game and even changed one screen just for us to the Cowboy Raven game. The down side was the sweet potato fries and onion rings were not served hot and several onion rings were stuck together. They were not cooked well and very doughy because of this. The burger was ordered medium well and arrived with a pink center. Learning here is to emphasize that the sides are served hot and the meat should be cooked as ordered. Intimidation tactics are a strange way to handle a customer concern. Being accused of having the wrong bill when there was clearly confusion surrounding my tab was frustrating and unnecessary. I wasn't looking for free food, discounts, or compensation from Julia (my server), Rachel (the bartender), or the manager, Alex. I simply wanted an accurate bill, a receipt, and a professional resolution. Rachel's service at the bar was disappointing. It also felt odd that before I had even put my ID back in my wallet, I was already being pressed for payment. The interaction felt rushed and unnecessarily tense. I was also left wondering how I ended up with a tab associated with Natasha, who had already closed out earlier in the evening. The Moscow Mule was okay, but the overall bar experience left a lot to be desired. The food itself was average. I ordered boneless lemon pepper wings per my servers recommendation but was served bone-in wings instead, and no one asked whether I wanted bone-in or boneless when I placed my order--a fairly standard question when someone orders wings. The lemon pepper seasoning was good, and it's clear the kitchen is doing its best despite the front-of-house issues. Ivy, the hostess, was the highlight of my visit. She was welcoming, professional, and helped make an otherwise uncomfortable experience more pleasant. Unfortunately, the front-of-house experience didn't match the effort coming from the kitchen. Communication seemed disorganized, and the handling of a straightforward billing concern felt unnecessarily confrontational. I can understand why so many experienced team members are no longer there if this reflects the current culture. I'm hopeful that security footage and, if necessary, the Roseville Police Department can help clarify what occurred with the billing. I'm also confident Conrad will review the situation thoroughly and determine exactly where the confusion happened. Overall, while the kitchen continues to put out flavorful food, the service, professionalism, and handling of a simple billing issue left me disappointed. I hope this feedback is taken as an opportunity to improve communication, accuracy, and the overall guest experience. Stick to their sliders, the California roll used to be fire, the poke nachos, or their spinach and artichoke dip. Ambiance is always dark, loud, dreary, and it always seems like everyone's just trying to keep things afloat. My cousin and I decided to swing by and catch an NBA game during happy hour at the bar area. As expected, parking was a bit of a pain around 5PM but we made due. Bar was packed, but we managed to find a few seats after a few minutes. The environment is lively around this time of the day, I usually see people waiting a bit to be seated. I come here for the happy hour. Yard house's happy hour has a great variety of drinks and food items. I have never gotten tired of their happy hour menu. The quality of food is still great! Happy hour can get packed, so it's best to join the waitlist online (if open), or plan to come in at the very beginning of happy hour. Parking can also be tough since there's a lot of things to do in the area, but at least this plaza has a parking lot across the street for overflow parking. My go-tos: the calamari and the chicken nachos. The calamari is always good when I come here, and the chicken nachos are the perfect shareable item. Ask for sour cream for an extra charge - it's worth it! Other things: The patio at this location is clean and beautiful. Also, the service is great - staff are so nice and helpful. First time visiting this restaurant. Really liked the YELP reviews. It was extremely crowded, but we were able to get a seat at the bar right away. Immediately had a server give us menus and took our drink order. Drinks came out quickly and we placed our food order. We split an Ahi Crunchy Poke Bowl. We spent Thanksgiving a little different this year. My Mom and Dad made reservations for 3 pm..it was pretty busy but parking was still easy to find. The restaurant was very busy. All the servers seem to work well together every thing flowed very well. One bad thing was restroom was out of toilet paper and seat covers. I understand they were very busy with the restaurant. But really need someone taking care of the restrooms also. We all ordered their Thanksgiving meal they were offering. They also had beers they recommended that would pair with the meal. Our group of seven arrived before the 11am opening and it took about five minutes for the staff to coordinate pushing two tables together to accommodate us. We were unable to choose outside dining as the staff for that area did not arrive until 11:30am. We were very well taken care of by April. We were in no hurry and our drinks (mostly beer) and food (all sorts) were consumed during much conversation. I enjoyed the double decker BLT. Which was wonderful. The bread was nicely toasted, all ingredients fresh and flavorful. Not a fan of mayo, but they didn't overdo it. Pretty sure everyone ordered something different, and each dish was enjoyed. The only thing not completely consumed was my basket of fries with my sandwich. I wasn't super hungry. It's Thursday late afternoon and we made it for happy hour. Your House has an excellent Happy Hour, so we ordered two Mai tais, fried calamari, and poke nachos. The food was half off and the Mai Tais were $2 off each one. Our server was Brittney, who was awful. She's very attentive, very friendly, and very helpful. She made some great suggestions, too.
