We are so happy with our decision to choose Catered to You for our wedding day! From our initial contact up until even the day after our wedding, they have been nothing short of amazing. We want to give a huge shout out to Justin!!! He was truly the best. Not only was he prompt in his responses, but he answered all of the questions throughout the year of planning that I had on my plate. He made everything so seamless, was always so profession via email and through phone conversations, and always spoke with a great attitude. Thank you Justin for making this process so easygoing and being so patient. You really are the right person for this job! As for our actual wedding day, the catering team were there timely, had everything set up with their own decor which I didn't expect but appreciated, and we received many compliments on the food and their service. They helped where they could and we are so thankful for their efforts. Also thank you to Hutch for introducing himself to my husband and I before the reception started and letting us know that he was there for anything we needed. You guys were a great team, thank you so much! read more

Why would a company provide a quote for an item that is not on their menu? That's weird in itself then to try and overcharge for said item is even more weird. I understand that you wanted to reply to my earlier review but it honestly made it worse. When you don't provide an item the correct thing to do, as a business, is to either figure out how much the going rate is or simply say you do not carry the item. Pretending to and knowing it is something you don't carry would have made the experience much worse. Again, I never requested a quote from you, Yelp sent it to numerous vendors. So once more, in the future, the most simple thing to do is be honest and say you don't carry the item, never made it, and apologize for the inconvenience. Have a wonderful day. read more

Catered to You - I didn't ask for a quote from him but Yelp sent it to different caterers and this guy is trippin! Lol - Caterers Near Me

Catered to You absolutely blew it out of the water for my 165 person vegeterian wedding. We ordered Lasagna Blanca (asked them to cut the veggies small so kids would eat more) and it was soooo delicious. They delivered the food over 2 hours away (Meyers, CA) and it arrived perfect. My brother-in-law is a chef/restaurateur with 2 restaurants and he could not stop eating the lasgna, and was amazed at how affordable their offerings are, especially at that high caliber. My wife also asked the chef to make a recipe that was not on their menu (Marry Me Butter Beans). It was soooo good. My wife and I are both vegeterian and so we wanted a fully vegeterian wedding. Its not always easy to please non-veg guests when you're only offering vegeterian fare, but Catered to You was able to pull it off. One last thing- their timely communication and patience in dealing with my family was top notch. read more

We couldn't have been more pleased with Catered to You's performance at our daughter's wedding. From proposal, through change orders to the final event, they have been professional, timely and a class act! The food was excellent and the staff were profession, charming and fun!! The bartender's did a great job with our custom, signature drinks. One of the things we liked best was the transparency of costs and menus on their website. All of the pricing, fees and upgrades are right there. There was no long sales process or delays waiting for proposals. They also had no issues with customizing menus. They were very flexible with dropping off and picking up rentals. We have no reservations in highly recommending Catered to You for your next event!! read more

Catered to You exceeded our expectations, and their food was amazing! Starting off with the client interaction when I was getting quotes. Their website was very user friendly. Stated pricing estimates and packages were easy to understand. Paying for and going through the event details were also very customer centered. Their menu was extensive and had options for different types of food limitations (vegan, vegetarian etc.) It was affordable at about $27 pp which included 3 appetizers, 1 salad, 2 mains, 2 sides, and 3 desserts. We added extra options of course. The food delivery was a breeze. They set/up with disposable chaffing dishes and disposable plates and utensils were elegant. The food was delicious!! I cant say enough good things about Catered To You! Super grateful we found a great caterer that served our elegant bach and bachelorette formal dinner! read more

Justin was amazing! He helped us build the perfect menu for our wedding and was able to help us with only a 2 week notice. Food was fantastic and they're willing to go off the menu and try any recipe you suggest. Highly recommend this business and we'll be using them again! read more

Thank you Anthony for making our last minute event a success. Within a few days of planning, we'd called up over a dozen catering companies to find Catered to You the best for our family reunion: flexible on headcount until days before contracting, disposable chafing dishes that truly kept food hot to avoid waitstaff all night, and excellent setup. And pricing was reasonable. Anthony walked us through dishes that prior guests raved about, we chose exactly that (tri tip, mushroom chicken, mashed potatoes, etc). Even the simple warm bread rolls were a bit. If I had any minor protips/feedback: 1) drinks don't come cold, so be prepared to have a cooler or fridge with ample space. 2) The lasagna tray was too heavy for the chafing dishes and didn't fit our oven, so we had a portion that was cooler throughout the event - yet plenty of other food to go around and guests didn't notice. Thanks Anthony & team for the exceptional catering! read more

I cannot say enough about this catering company! Very responsive and easy to work with. Great at making accommodations for us when plans changed in the last several weeks. Food was absolutely amazing and the attendants that worked the event were just fabulous. Highly recommend! read more

This email was sent 12.18 with no resolution. Clearly, this catering company does not meet standard expectations & is an overall disappointment. 1. Communication Issues: My wife, Jennifer, had to make multiple attempts to obtain an updated invoice, which is unacceptable in today's standard of customer service. Communication with your team was non-existent at times, leaving us frustrated. 2. Food Quality, Quantity, and Temperature: * The Penne Alfredo was inedible--overcooked, hard, and had the consistency of dry, baked mac and cheese. None of the children ate it. * While the appetizers were fine in taste, the portions were unacceptably small. For example: * The crab cakes were good, but the beef Wellington was just average. * The one-bite hors d'oeuvres were far too small for the price--what should have been a two-bite appetizer was miniature. * Additionally, the sauce for the beef Wellington did not come with a container, forcing my wife to use our own ramekins. * Most concerning, the food arrived cold, which was incredibly disappointing given the nature of a catered holiday party. For the price we paid, we expected food to arrive properly heated and ready to serve. * Comparatively, for the same $960, we could have received significantly more food and higher quality from Mikuni (a well-recognized and reputable local restaurant), with at least 2.5 times the volume of food and widespread guest satisfaction. 3. Presentation and Serveware: * We were under the impression the food would be delivered with professional-grade serving ware and that your team would handle pick-up. Instead, we received food in disposable trays with blue and white Dixie-style serveware--unacceptable for a Christmas party. * The upgraded plates were 10-inch dinner plates, which were far too large for serving hors d'oeuvres. This created the impression that very little food was being served. A smaller 6-inch appetizer plate would have been far more appropriate. * The black utensils were individually wrapped in plastic, reminiscent of cheap fast-food cutlery. Given the cost and the premium expectations set by your branding, the overall experience did not meet basic standards of catering, let alone justify the price. I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to improve your offerings and communication going forward. For the price we paid, we expected much better food quality, presentation, and customer service. As it stands, I cannot recommend your business to others and feel that we did not receive fair value for what we spent. read more

Amazing food, great staff, unrivaled guest service. This place is ran by people that came from the hospitality industry themselves. and employs people directly from the industry that have a wealth of experience, and that really know how to set themselves apart and blow you away with the service. This on top of the chefs pumping out some incredible food. read more

I have been wanting to post something for awhile but I haven't been myself if I'm being honest. I reached out to catered to you for my moms funeral. I spoke to Chris and they had been swamped with prior orders and were supposed to be taking a little break from new orders. This was in December so I'm sure they where busy. My mom unexpectedly died and there wasn't much options due to needing food a week before memorial. Chris reached out to his team and they agreed to take our last minute order. Not only was customer service amazing but the food was soo good. I will be using them from now on to cater more events in the future. Thank you Chris and your team for going up and beyond for us. read more

You can trust the high overall reviews of Catered to You. We had a company event catered by them and requested all our food to be vegan. The food was amazing! Catered to You provided food and servers for my daughter's wedding this past weekend. The brunch food was as ordered. The service was exceptional (so much so that I added to the tip we had previously set)! Anthony was an absolute pleasure to work with. I had reached out to several companies. Anthony called at the scheduled time, was flexible with menu requests and was very professional! I would highly recommend Catered to You! read more

Just had our wedding catered by Catered to You and we couldn't be more thrilled with the food, service, professionalism, value, and experience. We had a modest wedding with 80 attendees in Vacaville (about 50 miles from Sacramento). Anthony helped us with menu choices, suggested timing, serving options, and pricing details. He was amazing. He scheduled a final details conference call a few weeks before the event to make sure things were updated as needed (headcount, changes to quantity and food choices, etc). For anyone planning a wedding, you know it gets hectic having to manage multiple vendors, contracts, and timeframes. Anthony made sure we felt confident in our catering. We added onsite servers and they were incredibly professional, prompt, well skilled & experienced, and dressed to impress. Our guests continually complimented the food and there were no leftovers! Our friends and family couldn't get enough. If you're looking for a quality caterer for ANY event in the Sacramento and surrounding areas, you should definitely give Catered to You a call first! read more

I hired Catered To You to cater my wedding recently and it was an amazing and seamless experience! They're very responsive and professional, and their prices for the quality that's offered are super reasonable. My husband and I, as well as all of our guests, really enjoyed all the food! I would highly recommend them for any catering needs. read more

We had an amazing experience with Catered to You. They provided food for our 100 guest wedding reception and we were very happy with how everything turned out. I feel there was incredible value in terms of price and how delicious the food was. There was also plenty of leftovers for guests to take home. Anthony and the team were extremely accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. At the last minute, we needed some vegan meals added to our order which they took care of with no complaints. Then we asked if they could have the food finished a bit early, and again, they got it done! My wife and I have been meaning to write this review since early last month. It's long overdue, but we were so impressed with how they exceeded our expectations, we wanted to make sure to share our experience. read more

Horrible experience. Was trying to have Catered to You host an event for us and Matthew sounded eager but not. Made an appointment to chat with him and he never called, so I called him. Second attempt...he didn't call AGAIN (he had a family emergency...his dog...totally understandable)! I thought I give him one last try...well you guessed it, he never called!!! I would not recommend this company with the horrible customer service. Especially, in these times when businesses are hurting for business and I was willing to move forward. Try at your own risk! read more

I just want to shout out to Catered To You. This group of professionals totally blew me and my wife out of the water with their sumptuous delights, presentation, and genuinely friendly service.. Being a foodie and amateur chef myself, I was wholy impressed with the mouthwatering entrees and flavors their chefs delivered. You can certainly tell they bring passion to their work. The dinner set up was professional and expertly hosted. Servers were deligent about topping off wine glasses and attentive to our guests' needs. The staff was outgoing and very friendly. While our dinner was on the formal side, my friend liked them so much, he contracted them for a birthday party, which I attended. Same amazing food, service, jovial party and the Bartendar, Jonathan, was a crack-up! In addition to being entertaining, he knew how to make perfect Manhattans and Old Fashiones. What a great group. I'm hoping one of our guests hires them soon so we can have another enjoyable time. I highly recommend Catered To You for all your catering needs, small large, informal-formal. I can't say enough good stuff about this group! read more

We have so many amazing things to say about Anthony and the Catered to You company! The food was FANTASTIC! Our wedding guests were ecstatic about the food and appetizers. So many people went back for seconds - we barely had any leftovers and that is with over-ordering on the food! We heard comments all night about this being the best wedding food people have had. The Tuscan chicken and the Yukon potatoes were the stars of the show. Anthony was kind, responsive, and extremely professional! Our day went so smoothly with having the double delivery for apps and then dinner. Thank you so much, Catered to You, for being a massive part of our wedding day!! We highly recommend using Catered to You! read more

This is a top notch caterer. They are professional and the food is excellent. We hired Catered to You for our Son's Wedding Rehearsal Party. UPDATE: Still a 10/10! We did a tasting about a month prior to our wedding to make sure we liked the menu, and due to covid restrictions they did a personal drop-off at our apartment of the food! It was so good. The day of the wedding there was a mix up about the napkins we were supposed to rent from them (they just weren't the right color) so they took off the rental price from our total! I also heard they were incredibly helpful with our coordinator, setting up the dessert bar etc. (which was not something I had asked them to do) Chris and Jonathan were so helpful and personable throughout the whole process! Will DEFINITELY be using them again for any future catering needs we have. read more

I ordered food from Catered To You for my son's wedding rehearsal and I couldn't be more pleased. First, I loved that they have an online pricing guide with menu and serving options available which made requesting a quote easy. Next, my daughter in law (the bride) is gluten intolerant and I did not want to do anything that might get her sick the night before her wedding. I was assured that it would be clearly written on all forms and communicated to the chef that all the food ingredients needed to be gluten free, it most definitely was just as I had asked which was reassuring. The bride had requested crème brûlée as a dessert, even though it wasn't on their standard menu they were able to make it happen. Also, the pick up was seamless. There was a phone call a week before to firm up details and clarify who would be picking up and when. At a time when food prices are soaring and portions at most restaurants are shrinking, I was incredibly happy to see that there was ample food. Not just the volume was impressive so was the presentation. Everything was beautiful and tasted every bit as good as it looked. At one point the bride leaned over and quietly asked if I was sure the meal was gluten free because it tasted so good she was hesitant to believe it was! I assured her that everything was absolutely gluten free and she was so happy to be able to eat everything that was served rather than just one or two things which is usually the case. The true test was that she ate some of everything and didn't get sick! All the guests commented on how delicious the food was and I couldn't have been any happier. I can't say enough about what a great experience it was working with Catered To You. I would highly recommend hiring them to cater any event, look no further. read more

We chose Catered to You for our wedding caterers and could not have been happier. The pricing is incredibly reasonable, the options are bountiful, the customer service from the first interaction was so fantastic, and the food is even better than the service. Our wedding was small and ended abruptly due to a power outage, and . My husband and I had planned on letting people take food home, but ended up quickly putting all the food in our car just to get packed up before we lost daylight and VERY happily gorged ourselves on the tri tip with mushroom demi glaze and Gouda mashed potatoes (among other things) for the next few days. Sorry guests, but we were not mad about having all the leftovers. We've been talking about the tri tip for the last two weeks. 11/10 recommend! read more

My parents used this company this past weekend for a celebration of life ceremony for my brother. They were very professional & kind. The man that set up was polite & efficient. The food was amazing & portions were extremely generous. My mom hasn't had much of an appetite since she lost her son, but she actually ate & enjoyed the food. We had creamy Tuscan chicken, tri tip with mushroom wine demi gloss, au gratin potatoes, garlic parmesan polenta, chicken quesadillas, tenderloin and risotto fritters, crab cakes, & salad. There were several different sauces but my favorite was the lemon basil aioli, the honey chipotle aioli was also delicious. My mom loved the tenderloin & risotto fritters, hopefully I can get her some more soon. I highly recommend using them for any event where catering is desired. read more

We hired Catered To You for our Mother's 100th birthday party. I only contacted them two weeks before our event. I worked with Matthew LaPorta and he was very helpful and provided great advice on the menu options. The food was delivered to the house and set up quickly by Mark and his team. The food was very tasty and everyone enjoyed the selections. The only negative would be the cheesy garlic bread does not feel as fresh as you would expect but travel times factored into that. Chicken lettuce wraps, mini beef wellingtons, meatball puff pastries, pulled pork and the loaded Mac and cheese bites were all equally enjoyed. I would highly recommend Catered To You for your next event. read more
