I'm from the east where bagels are boiled so it's been a struggle finding authentic bagels in California and these are steamed. I had the vegetarian on banana nut and forgot to ask it be toasted. I think the egg is pre mixed but they said they mix milk into them. The vegetables are fresh. The caramel macchiato is good though it should be hotter. I'm usually a black drip coffee guy but glad I ordered this. The costumer service is excellent and you can see they put lots of work into keeping the place clean. read more

The owners are welcoming and warm, the staff are friendly, and the bagels are high quality and fresh. I had the Eggwich (#2) on an onion bagel and it was delightful. No icky ingredients, simply bagel, egg, and provolone cheese. I also had their Vietnamese coffee which was sweetened to perfection and had the right amount of kick. The dining area is clean and open with plenty of light, making it the perfect space to eat and catch up with the dear friend who introduced me to this place today! Highly recommend this family owned and run bagel shop with a plethora of delicious options. We were in the neighborhood and needed a place for healthy breakfast outside seating since we had, Nani, my mini dachshund with me. When you walk in, you're greeted by a large display of bagels, similar to a donut shop. Bagels w cheese are considered, gourmet and $.50 more. I recently tried bagel street cafe via DoorDash (lazy weekend) and was pleasantly surprised by their bagel breakfast sandwiches. There are so many options to customize it to your preference, I got the jalapeño cheddar bagel, cheddar cheese and sausage and it was delicious and so filling it lasted me 2 breakfasts! My second half reheated beautifully in the toaster oven. I imagine it's even better fresh at the cafe, but if you're also having a lazy morning cannot go wrong with a delivered sandwich. We ordered a California Club on fresh Dutch crunch bread, BSC special, bagel dog, and a blueberry bagel. We were greeted by the friendly staff right as we walked in. Staff was attentive and personable. They were also very patient as there were so many options to choose from. The BSC Special is loaded with chicken breast, avocado, with the works. Mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles, onions, alfalfa sprouts, and pepperoncinis on freshly baked Dutch crunch bread. Wow! This sandwich was massive! Everything tasted fresh and it was so good! The California club sandwich was my favorite with turkey, cheddar cheese, and bacon. My sandwich also had mayo, mustard, lettuce, pickles, onions, alfalfa sprouts, and pepperoncinis on freshly baked Dutch crunch bread. That Dutch crunch bread tho... yum!!! PSA: Dutch crunch eating tip, make sure you turn your Dutch crunch sandwich upside down! Trust me! The Vietnamese coffee is by far my favorite!! I have had many excellent versions of Vietnamese coffee. Some of my favorites have been Vinhouse, Seven leaves, and Orbitz. However, we have a new champion. The Vietnamese coffee here was a perfect blend of rich roasted coffee and just the right combo of condensed milk! It was so good. Creamy with a punch! (Make you grow hair on your chest!) The dining area was very clean, and it was very spacious with a simple layout. You can tell that the owners take pride in the cleanliness of the cafe. Stopped in the Bagel Street Cafe for a weekend breakfast/brunch with my daughters. We were immediately greeted. There's menu signs on the wall and paper ones on the counter. I ordered a #4 Breakfast Bagel with Egg, Cheese & Ham with an Iced Vietnamese Coffee. My daughter ordered a Breakfast Bagel with Egg & Cheese with an Iced Thai. There was plenty of seating available. I walk inside and it's so clean, warm, and the owner/employees were very friendly. I Got the Turkey Melt on a cinnamon Crunch bagel. OH MY GOD it was good. Like OMG.. The bagels are amazing too - I haven't had such a soft and chewy bagel like that in a long time. The breakfast sandwiches are very generous. Thick egg and gooey cheese, tasty sausage patty. The type of sandwich you want to keep the paper wrapper on so all the goods don't slip out. They also had like 6 different drop coffees to choose from. Theres a customer restroom too. We stopped here on our way to a backpacking trip in the Tahoe national forest with the whole family. The bagels were fresh and perfectly made: warm chewy exterior, soft interior. The lox sandwich was so good my kid had a 2nd one. It was an easy pit stop off the freeway with easy parking and quick service so we were able to get back onto the road with ease. Amazing bagel/breakfast/coffee place! My wife and I were craving bagels so we decided to give this place a try and we are glad we did! The vanilla late was delicious and tasted almost identical to my favorite Peet's coffee. I got a sourdough bagel with jalapeno spread and it was even better than Posh Bagel! They put bits of jalapeños within the spread which gave it a spicy but not overpowering taste. My wife got the eggwich breakfast sandwich and she enjoyed it. This place is amazing.
