Talk of the block- literally. All of our neighbors are still talking about the food from our party days later. We had people coming over the morning after asking for seconds. The meatballs were my personal favorite- the sauce is unique and there's just the slightest spice to them at the end- incredible. The bacon Mac and cheese is to die for. The slider bar was a super nice addition and a hit with all of the guests getting to build their own and choosing between thinly sliced tri tip or what should be famous pulled pork (it's SO good). They even provided a donut wall and the donuts. Communication was excellent, pricing reasonable and the food spoke for itself. They were on time for set up and helped us have a successful party. We are proud to support local businesses, and will definitely hire T Bones again! read more

You can really tell Tracy has a passion for BBQ-- he offers a very broad selection of meats-- tri-tip, pulled pork, roasted chicken (so tender and juicy), meatballs, etc. For the vegetarian crowd, he offers a delicious stuffed portobello amongst a variety of sides such as caprese skewers, mashed potatoes, BBQ beans. There is also an exceptional bacon mac n cheese. And don't forget charcuterie!! If you need someone to pour drinks or bartend, Tracy can provide staff for that. He brings all of the setup equipment for a hands-off and seamless experience on your part. His staff is very friendly and accommodating and ready to make your event a special one. Highly recommend!! read more

Been trying to reach out to this business across all platforms through multiple means of communication. The best I got was a "like" on an inquiry. Hated that we wasted time waiting for a response because the food and reviews really got us excited, but this is ridiculous unprofessionalism. If you're not in business or on hiatus, please communicate. read more

Such a disappointing business and experience. I scheduled this company 2 months ago for my father's retirement party. I reached out 2 weeks before the event to make payment and confirm the details. After a week of reaching out multiple times through email and text and hearing nothing back, I finally said I would have to move on to another vendor if I didn't hear back by the end of the day. She said she would get in touch on Monday day. Again after many attempts on Monday, I heard nothing back so I sent an email saying I would be going with another vendor. It is so unprofessional and I can't work with an unreliable businesses. I would say book at your own risk. Please read the other review below on how they do not get back to you and make excuses. read more

Did the charcuterie board/table from my daughter's wedding and it was huge hit. Great quality and even better customer service.

Excellent job on one of our corporate parties. They were on-time, food was hot, and we received multiple compliments.

T-bones, barbecue rocks! I have them cater my Private bourbon club Smoke & Oak every quarter, and they never fail to deliver! Tracy is a master at barbecue, but he can even do other themes as well like, for example, we had an Italian themed barbecue at our last event that was simply outstanding! You can't go wrong with T-bones! read more

Omg, Holy Heck was this delicious BBQ. I used T-Bones to cater a November company dinner. The owner went out of his way to accommodate our hotel setting. His dinner selections were a huge hit. Tri-Tip and Pork Ribs were seasoned and cooked perfectly! The homemade island style BBQ sauce was absolutely delicious. The mashed potatoes, green beans and rolls rounded out a fabulous meal. The owner set up the display in our private room with cute island style adornments! We plan to use his company again when we are in town in December. Prices are fair and quantities are smol for our crowd. I highly recommend seeking them out for any function you need catered. read more

I have been using T-Bones for all of my catering needs for the past couple of years. We've had events with 100 - 250 guests. I have never been disappointed with the quality or service. Tracy is very professional and easy to work with. His charcuterie board is always a work of art. He even created our logo out of fruit. Both his tri-tip and pulled pork get rave reviews. He works with his clients to create a menu that is delicious and tailored to their needs. read more

Wish I could rate this as a 10! My first time planning an event with a catered service, Tracy was so easy to work with. Responded timely to my (many) questions. If you're looking for excellent food and cost effective look no more. My event had approximately 125 guests, planning for 155 and Tracy was well prepared for a large group of people. Showed up at the time he said he would, had a beautiful set up, worked hard and was kind to all my guests. Seriously, you won't be able to find services and great food like this anywhere! I did a bunch of research to find a cater, I'm so happy I selected you! Thank you Tracy, the event wouldn't have been the same without you! read more

Tracy brought his cool smoker-trailer rig to our house for our son Joe's graduation party. Tri-tip, pulled pork, beans, coleslaw and rolls! Rolls? Who would fill themselves with rolls with A++++ tri-tip, beans, coleslaw, and pulled pork nearby? EVERYTHING was perfect. I would have them back tomorrow. You should call them for your next party. The photo is the snadwich I made the following morning with the leftovers that Tracy was nice enough to leave. read more

Mr. Tracy not only provided the BEST BBQ we've had... but his presentation and style was above and beyond! He took special care of all the details, right down to cutting the tri-tip on the spot when plating each 50+ teammates. He didn't stand there, he was completely involved, personable... you could tell he took pride in his work... and he was greatly appreciated and admired! Thank you so much, Tracy! The food, details and your work ethic is exquisite! We'll be using you again for future gatherings! read more

We used T Bone's for a work meeting yesterday and I HIGHLY recommend them. We use lots of caterers for different work events/meetings and this one was amazing, we will be using them again. There was plenty of food, presentation of the food was nice, it was on-time and kept warm our entire meeting. Multiple people went back for seconds and thirds and everyone kept commenting on how good the food was. It was incredible, I can't recommend this business enough. I will be reaching out to him to host my personal events. Amazing food at a very affordable price! Thank you Tracy! read more

I am registering a unfortunate experience that is opposite of many of the other reviews on Yelp. Communication was not a priority for Tracy. In trying to get this business to cater for an event, I placed a number of emails and calls to Tracy that were not responded to. When I finally did receive a response email, Tracy assured me that he had me booked for the event. One week later and less than two weeks out, I received an email stating that he had a wedding and could not cater my event. He never provided a contract or request for deposit. Tracy's food may be very good which I will never know, but his service was poor. read more

What a wonderful and great company! I reached out to see about having food catered for my son's high school grad party a month or so in advance. Unfortunately, the company was not able to actually serve the food at the party, but T-Bones were able to provide ALL the meat I requested, as well as deliver all the food to my home. The food was delicious! All my guest at the party enjoyed the pork ribs, tri-tip, chicken and pulled pork, they were all amused with the quality and taste of the meats. I will be utilizing T-Bones in the future. read more

WOW, where do I begin -- 10 stars. First of all, the entire process was a breeze. Being the mother of the bride, I was in charge of the caterer..... and what a find! TBones, Tracy and his lovely wife, went out of their way to accommodate us in the high heat this past weekend. Tracy arrived on time and set up his smoker allowing the guests to smell the deliciousness prior to the meal. Our menu consisted of appetizers (shrimp was amazing), pulled pork (yum), tri-tip, potatoes, green beans and salad. The portions were substantial which the guys appreciated. TBones set a nice area to serve the food with linens, table decor, and tiki torches, and set a beverage table at a cool place on the property keeping the drinks cold. All in all, everything was done to perfection. I couldn't be more pleased. Definitely will use TBones again. read more

The tri tip was amazing, not too much smoke and the sauce complement the overall flavor. I was also able to sample the Turkey, which was moist and cooked to perfection. Overall, the food was well prepared, vegetables nicely seasoned and enjoyed the food a lot. read more

T-Bones catered our wedding reception for 80 people, and everybody raved about the food. Their tri tip, pulled pork, and bacon n cheese are amazing! The Staff is friendly, and they efficiently set up, pack up, and clean their space. They even left us the leftovers in containers. Competitively priced. I highly recommend! The only downside was initially getting them to respond to emails and/or phone calls when inquiring about a bid and booking. I'm sure they lose out on customers who are less persistent! read more

This past week, our student run non-profit KHK Sacramento put on a golf tournament to raise money for at-risk/foster care college bound youth. We had the pleasure of featuring T Bone's delicious BBQ ribs at our event. The quality and price was absolutely incredible! I'm from Texas and I was blown away by the tender and wonderfully seasoned BBQ. Not you're ole traditional and predictable flavors. The island theme and flair made it a favorite at our event! I will definitely use them for catering again! read more

We ordered our holiday party for my team from T Bones and they did not disappoint. The tri tip was savory with a note of sweet. It was the first to go. The shredded pork was also top notch. It was the bacon Mac and cheese that really surprised everyone, definitely the best Mac and cheese I have ever had. The salads were fresh and scrumptious. It was a party to remember in no small part because of the food. They are the best bbq in the area hands down. Call T Bones and book your party today! read more

Never heard of these guys before, but got a chance to sample their food as a trial for our company event that we're going to have for Thanksgiving. Their food was hands-down the best I've sampled from other caterers! In fact, our panel of judges all concurred that T Bones BBQ was the best tasting. The owner is very proud of his food and he invests the time and energy it takes to make it the very best. Each step is thoughtful and translates into award-winning plates. I had BBQ just yesterday. It was very good and I'd be very happy eating more of it. Then I tasted T Bones and the playing field changed! It was OMG GOOD! The tri-tip was tender and moist and not overly smoked. Then I added his home-made BBQ sauce, made with a pineapple backbone....another OMG moment. This is one of the best sauces I've ever had (and I've spent 13 years in Texas)! What Thanksgiving event would be complete without turkey? Here was the biggest difference. Yesterday's turkey was good but T Bone's turkey was on another level good! So moist and flavorful! When you cater, besides the food, you want a dependable manager. The owner was very friendly, and talked through all the cooking secrets. He's also very professional and has a great attention to detail. He plans ahead so as to minimize the potential for any timing problems. My only regret? It has to be that he doesn't have a restaurant I can go to any time I have a BBQ hankering. Perhaps if his catering business continues to grow, he'll open a restaurant! read more

OK... So I hired T-bones barbecue catering for my husband's 65th birthday party. All I can say is if you are having an event, please please please consider using T-bones barbecue. The food was beyond delicious and his attention to detail was amazing! Tracy arrived on time, was incredibly gracious and set up the most fabulous food table with decorations and all. We had his award winning Tri-tip, pulled pork, bacon Mac and cheese, super yummy smoky beans and two kinds of salads. The Tri-tip was so delicious everyone went back for more leaving no leftovers...too bad for me! All of our guests raved about his food! AND, he stayed during the entire party to help serve our guests! Unbelievable! We will definitely use T-bones again! read more

T Bones catered my kids birthday party this weekend and OMG was this the best decision I've ever made! I don't write many reviews but I feel I needed to write this one. The tri -tip and pulled pork was the best meat I've had in my life and I've had my fair share of BBQ. We also got Mac n cheese and that was equally amazing. Tracy was on time, the food was great and every single guest was asking where we got the food from. No complaints! Will be ordering from here again! read more

We hired T Bone's BBQ to cater my father's 90th birthday in Roseville recently. We don't live in the area, so I just relied on good reviews on Yelp. I was still a little nervous, because this was a very important event and you just never know sometimes. Well, they did not disappoint! Tracy, and his lovely wife, Kristin were awesome. They paid attention to every detail and made certain that everything was done well to please our guests. Both were easy to work with and are just simply very nice people. And the food! We ordered tri-tip sliders, pulled pork sandwiches, BBQ chicken bits with potato salad and bacon mac n' cheese. It was all very delicious!! They made sure that food was always available and their presentation was pleasing and professional. I would highly recommend them for your catered events. read more
