We have been here a few times and it never disappoints. Last night my daughter wanted a treat so we stoped by. We ordered the mango melon. It was delicious. The fruits always taste fresh. The staff are all friendly and the menu keeps getting better. We will definitely be back to try the new watermelon dessert.
Interesting to find a bingsu place in this part of sac Interesting flavors - the ones with the fruits stood out to me because they had great quality fruits. Otherwise I feel the bingsu flavor leaned a bit bland Cute place though!
I've never been to this location in person but I occasionally get delivery from DoorDash. I really love the croffle desserts they have, they always come tasting fresh and crunchy. My favorite is definitely the Mixed Berry Croffle as it contains the perfect amount of sweetness while still being refreshing. I am unfortunately not a big fan of their coffee drinks. They are advertised differently on their DoorDash profile but they don't look anything like the photos and they don't taste very good. The milk teas are much better but the boba is a hit or miss. I would definitely like to come in person someday as they have a variety of bingsu options that look delicious. But overall delivery service is great and I never have any problems with this place.
Came here for dessert and was pleasantly surprised by the wide selection they offer. I ordered the Tropical Sunrise with watermelon popping boba, and it was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Yana, who helped us with our order, was wonderful--very attentive and made sure we got exactly what we wanted. She even gave us these adorable snowman containers, which was such a thoughtful and charming touch. The ambience was inviting, and we truly enjoyed the overall experience. They also offer a complimentary photo print, which was a fun and unique addition. Although we didn't get to try the bingsu this time, we did try the Croiffles, and they exceeded expectations--perfectly crispy, and the whipped cream was light and made to perfection. Overall, a delightful dessert spot. We would definitely come back every time we're in the area.
Very cute little dessert/boba spot. Staff were friendly and helpful. They have a lil kiosk to take a photo and a few tables and chairs. Everything we ordered was delicious, we will definitely be back to try more items.
Lovely, bright and clean store with a very attentive and nice owner/employee. Love that they have mini bingsu perfect for just 1 person. I love red bean so ordered the mini Injeolmi which totally hit the spot in a 100F degree day! I love how the shaved ice in bingsu is sooo fluffy, airy, and light. It was such a nice tasty treat and just to wash down the sweetness, they have free ice water at the counter.
After seeing the new Sweet Corn drinks on Instagram, we decided it was time to make another trip to Kobing! There's plenty of indoor seating. Kpop music videos playing on the big screen tv. Such a fun vibe. There's now a kiosk to order from. We ordered both the Soo Soo Matcha and the Soo Soo Latte so we could try both drinks! And my little one ordered the Vanilla Gelato with Boba. Both our drinks were delish! The yummy sweet corn topping was creamy, sweet and the perfect addition to both the matcha and latte. Next time I'm going to try adding a shot of espresso to make the latte stronger! My daughters both loved the gelato. The boba was soft and chewy. 10/10
It's a cute spot, and I enjoyed our croffle and Bingsu, but service is lacking. Maybe it was a one off day, but there as no hello, thank you, do you want a receipt... nada.. It wasn't even straightforward. It felt like my presence was offensive, really. It's local to our friends, so it was convenient, but the cold transactional-esque of staff kind of left me not too keen of Kobing. I'd try it again, due to proximity, but I know there's other places that would have some personality with their staff.
I love Asian desserts -- especially since many of them tend to be carb-free. When I heard about the bingsu here, I had to try it! Bingsu is a Korean dessert with finely shaved ice or milk-based ice with sweet toppings. Definitely finer than shave ice and the texture just melts in your mouth for a creamy experience. I was torn between the traditional Korean bingsu with red beans and mochi or the melon one ($16). I opted for the latter and I was so glad I did! This behemoth came out in half a melon with melon balls and chopped up mango on top. A passionfruit syrup was drizzled over everything with a side of sweetened condensed milk. At the bottom of the melon "bowl" was more melon. OMG talk about mouthgasm. The melon bingsu is definitely made for two, the cute pink interior and trendy Korean videos makes for an easy date spot. Service was fast, although the tables could've used some wiping down. I'm already craving this again and it's been less than a week!
was craving boba all week long, found this place on yelp and was not disappointed!! super delicious drinks and very yummy dessert! the staff was amazing, helpful and patient. I love the whole vibe of the inside, the photo area is so smart and nostalgic.
Visited recently and my rating still stands. Not the worst but not the best in the area. Service is always great and there is never a wait for my order. I tried the infamous soo soo latte which was good and creamy, but didn't have a lot of corn flavor. I also got a plain waffle which was a little too crispy. I prefer my waffles crispy but it was a tad dry. I will probably try Kobing again if I'm in the area but wouldn't go out of my way to come here
The bingsu (shave ice) here was absolutely out of this world. However, I regret adding gelato on it because it had more of a mochi/sticky texture. Aside from that, the drink I got was really tasty as well. They have a claw machine and a free picture printer in the waiting area where you can hang up your photo if you'd like. The place was neat and staff were nice! Not a fan of the music videos playing on the TV due to them streaming promiscuous kpop. The bingsu was so good, I texted my Korean friend right away to inform her of a new favorite shave ice location! Excited to come back and try a different flavor

How in the world did not not know about the delicious Boba and dessert spot. Since I live in Carmichael I am always in the Citrus Heights and Fair Oaks areas. Today, I was craving a milk tea, but I wanted to check out a never boba and dessert sport and trusty ol' Yelp popped up with Kobing Dessert Studio not to mention their rating is 4.5 so i knew I had to see what they offer. They do not have a big drink selection, but what they do have is different from other boba spots and they do have a selection of desserts. The service is really good and they two employees were very friendly. The inside is super cute and cozy. I ordered the coconut strawberry cloud drink. It consists of coconut water and fresh strawberry milk. I added boba and coconut jelly to my drink. I will for sure be back the prices are great too! read more
The strawberry cheesecake bingsu was not my favorite. Usually my sister and I fight for the last bite, but we didn't even finish this one. We ate around the cheesecake bites and mochi because they were SO STALE. I personally don't prefer my bingsu drenched in syrup either. They have a lot of other things to order, but I recommend skipping the strawberry cheesecake bingsu. The spot was really cute and clean. There were a ton of tables open on a Wednesday evening. Staff was super nice and efficient! read more

I loved the strawberry bingsu! It was enough for 2 people to share. The strawberry was fresh and the little pieces of mochi were really good. I just wish it came with the cereal as well. The service was great and I love the ambiance. They have a cute photo booth area and tv that was playing kpop music videos. 100% would come back. read more

Cute location interior, loved my drinks and gelato ice cream , everything is good to taste not so sweet but just right , service was excellent, will be coming again! read more
Their bingsoo was pretty good! Refreshing taste and just the perfect amount of sweetness mixed with the fruits. They offer 2 sizes for the bingsoo; 2 other friends and I shared a small size. The cashier was nice, promptly took our order and made it a fast so we didn't wait long at all. The shop itself was clean and not too many people waiting. read more
I've been to Kobing a few times with friends, and every visit has been a treat! Everything I've ordered has been consistently delicious. Their strawberry bingsu is a standout--the shaved ice is so light and fluffy, like biting into freshly fallen snow, and the combination of sweet strawberries and creamy cheesecake is absolutely perfect. I've also tried some of their drinks, including the honeydew drink, which had just the right amount of honeydew flavor without being overly sweet--so refreshing! Next time, I'm excited to try their croiffle. Can't wait to come back! read more

Such a cute place! They have a mini claw machine and all the girly K-pop/Kawaii vibes. Order at the counter and the staff will call out your order. I was really intrigued by the black sesame latte but, opted for the korean bingsu to go with this hot weather instead. Definitely trying their drinks and a croiffle next time. Parking doesn't seem to be an issue. The store front is street facing so easy to find (next plaza over from Kohls). read more

I love how cute this place is and their ice cream is good. My only disappointment, I was expecting soft‑serve. I ordered ube/matcha because I'd seen photos with a soft‑serve swirl, but they served it differently. Not sure if it was a miscommunication, the machine was down, or they don't offer soft‑serve anymore. read more

This is a cute little spot. We came on a Sunday afternoon. It wasn't busy, but there was a steady stream of people coming & going. The table where we sat was clean, but the curtain behind the counter that leads to the back was quite dirty. There is a cute backdrop wall for a photo. The customer service wasn't particularly friendly at all--no welcome greeting, just a brief, minimal, straightforward transaction. The menu had a lot of yummy sounding items. We ordered a strawberry bingsu. It was nicely presented & enjoyable to eat. read more

Korean dessert cravings? This is the spot!!! I've only been to one other place that makes this good and so glad this popped up because there's croiffels too!!!!!! Melon mango bingsu is a must if you don't mind the flavor of melon. It is so cute! Served right up in half a melon that they used to scoop up all the balls for the topping of the ma go flavored snow ice with also fresh mangoes on top! It's perfectivity! With the amount of sweetness. We also ordered a strawberry for the kids just in case. Croiffels!!! It is a chewy mochi croiffel. I love the mochi one with the specialty powder on it. I can't explain the powder flavor, it is something that is popular in Japan as a coating on the mochi balls. We also got the mixed berry for the kids. The croiffels were cooked perfect and it oily. Crunchy, chewy, lightly sweet and hits that spot. I ordered the apple yuzu green tea. It was a bit sweet for me even though it as told it's not too sweet and not to lower the sweetness. I should have gotten half sweet. This drink is on the sour side, and I love sour, so maybe for others the normal amount of sugar is good for them. Located in a small little plaza. Plenty of parking. Cut decorations inside with a pink wall. It felt clean. Service was great, she answered all the questions and was very patient. I will be back with friends! read more

Considering I've been a resident of Citrus Heights since 2016 (the year is 2024 as I am writing this review), there hasn't been many boba spots (if any) since living here. Everything is more or less in Sacramento, Elk Grove, and other more diverse areas. This takes me to "Kobing Dessert Studio" that is located on San Juan Ave. and just south of Greenback Lane in the heart of Citrus Heights. Their grand opening was in July 2023 and they took over where "Beanheads Coffee" once stood for just a short time. Prior to that was where "Bo's Urban Eats" was. Let's hope this place lasts longer than the previous two. Parking is fairly easy to find as this is in a relatively quiet strip mall. Upon entering, I was immediately greeted with light pink walls complete with marbled tables, an LED TV playing K-Pop videos, and bright pink neon signage showcasing their business name. It is definitely one of the places that women will love as it is very TikTok/Instagram friendly. Their menu carries quite a few of Boba options including Thai Tea, Strawberry Matcha, Lychee, and the option I ended up ordering, their "Okinawa Brown Sugar". Since I didn't want it overbearingly sweet, I asked for 50% sweetness and light ice. In addition to their Boba choices, they carry traditional hot/iced coffees, soft serve ice creams, Bingsu (shaved ice), and Croiffles (croissant + waffle). My lady ended up ordering an Iced Americano and we took our drinks to-go and made the quick drive home. I've got to say that the service that was provided here and overall experience, this place went highly above my expectations. As for my Boba drink, even at 50% the brown sugar was still relatively sweet. This is why it's good to give a good shake (of your cup) since much of the sweetness is on the bottom. And the iced Americano that my lady ordered, she said it rivals some of the best iced coffee she's tried in the entire Sacramento area. That says a lot for a place that is still the new kid in town. Keep in mind that even though they serve coffee here, they don't open until 12pm. However, they are open for business 7 days a week from 12-9pm. I am quite curious to see how their desserts shape up. From what quite a few of my Yelp friends said, they were also very pleasantly surprised with how good this place was. As I mentioned, I just hope it survives since I've seen a lot of quality businesses come and go here. With that said and done, I am going to give "Kobing Dessert Studio" a unanimous five star rating. read more

Bingsu was pretty good. Mango Melon was my personal favorite out of the two Bingsu we ordered. The mango shaved ice was so flavorful and went well with the melon balls. It also comes in a melon bowl. Did not care for the whipped cream on top though. Strawberry Bingsu was good too. The strawberries were not tart and sour at all. The mochi and cheesecake bites were good additions but were basically froyo toppings lol. The place was spacious and had plenty of seating. It is very marble and bright in there. They were also playing kpop music videos on their tv which was cool. read more

I came an hour before closing on a Tuesday night. The place is very clean and music is great. There is a claw machine inside, too. My friend got the strawberry bingsoo and I got the matcha bingsoo. The gentlemen was very kind to explain how big the mini bingsoo bowls were compared to the regular sized bingsoo. We both got the mini bingsoo to try it out. My matcha bingsoo came with bits of mochi, red bean paste, and condensed milk. The strawberry bingsoo has fresh sweet strawberries with a strawberry sauce, mochi bits, and condensed milk. It was a refreshing treat for the evening snack. I will be back to try more. read more
This shop is so cute inside! The pastel colors are bright and matches the vibe of the store perfectly. My friend and I got the mango melon bingsoo and the presentation of it looked so pretty. The service was quite fast as well for only one person working. The mango melon bingsoo was delicious and could serve 3-4 people! I will definitely be coming back to try their other items on the menu. read more
