I visited this ice cream café yesterday, and I absolutely loved it. They are open from 2 PM to 9 PM. The ice cream here is incredibly delicious and so soft and creamy. Honestly, this is the only place where I buy ice cream now. I tried to find other places closer to me before, but nothing could compare to this café. I'm especially happy that after moving, this place is now only 5 minutes away from my home. The flavor of the ice cream is so rich, natural, creamy, and smooth. Extremely rude staff when my family arrived we were not greeted a simple hello would had been nice but ever since we got there the young lady was making rude faces when I ask if I could sample a flavor, also when my husband asked to sample a flavor the women look at the guy and began making faces and talking among themselves( whispering ) and laughing now let me be clear we only asked for two samples which I don't think it should be an issue . Thursday, 6/06/2024 - We decided to try GB Gelato. We wanted some good gelato. Address is 6241 Fair Oaks Blvd H, Ste E, Carmichael, CA 95608. It's located in the Milagros Plaza. Upon arrival: Pros 1) plenty of parking 2) don't go where you see the GB Gelato sign. There's no entrance there. You have to go through where the Milagros sign is towards the back and you'll see entrance to your left side. 3) there's a few tables in there to sit and enjoy. 4) staffs were nice. Mellow. Quiet. 5) all of our Gelato ice cream was super good. 6) I asked them what sweetner they use to make their sugar free Gelato, and the lady said Monkfruit. Oh yeah!!! I'll be coming back for sure. They have several sugar free flavors here. 7) restaurant was clean and cute. 8) strawberry Banana was good too me. I liked it. But my other 2 said it was just OK. They were used to more ice cream, more creamier in it vs watery icey smoothie. Cons 1) none for me. I loved it all. For my other two people, the smoothie was a con. Conclusion We all really liked this GB Gelato. We'll be coming back here for sure! It was nice and quiet when we showed up. I stopped by here with my boyfriend on a Sunday late afternoon, this entire place is gorgeous, clean and so calming. We both had some gelato, I had the limoncello and he had raspberry, we LOVED our gelato from GB Gelato. We sat outside and it was practically empty out there, they had a lot of seating and space for kiddos to run around and enjoy their gelato. We will definitely be back soon! I am a chocolate fan, I love a good go-to flavor combo of one scoop macchiato and one chocolate when I go here. This was my first time trying anything Dubai Chocolate flavor and it did not disappoint. I enjoyed the mix of pistachio with chocolate, the mini crispy texture, and a pretty chocolate hard-coating. This gelato is made with love and it is amazing! Gabriel and his crew have a wonderful talent in making their special gelato with perfection! There is quite a variety of unique flavors and there's always something new to try. How about blueberry mascarpone, or mint chocolate chip? Belgian chocolate or fresh coconut? Too many flavors to mention here, but if you'd like to try popcorn gelato, they can do that one too! In addition to gelato, there are many flavors of fresh fruit sorbets on the menu (think peach, watermelon, key lime, limoncello, and so many more!). GB Gelato is located inside the Milagro Centre in Downtown Carmichael Gelato is the Italian word for ice cream but there is a difference! Gelato is denser than ice cream. It has a higher proportion of milk and a lower proportion of cream and eggs (or no eggs at all). This shop is adjacent to Café Madre and they have their own seating inside but, of course, you can also enjoy your treat at Milagro's covered outdoor food court common area. I ordered small cups of the Cookies & Cream for my daughter and I chose two flavors for mine, Chocolate Chip and Coffee Macchiato. We ate them outdoors... it was a warm mid-80's today but, I tell you, I did not allow that ice cream to melt. I ate that whole thing before it had a chance to drip! LoL! Yummy!! It has been a long time since I've been to, anywhere, that left me speechless. The craft of gelato is a hard one to master. Many, many places just don't have the skill set to leave one feeling like they've been transported to Italy. This is the place. Each flavor was light and fluffy with a creamy texture. The flavors are not overpowering and the sweetness is simply extraordinary. The shop itself is nestled in a sweet little corner where friends can meet and enjoy catching up. I am so sad to write this. They may have good gelato, even though very expensive, however, the owners and their children who work there, are never happy. All of them seem miserable working there. And here they own the business. They never smile or make friendly conversations with customers. It's just what do you want. And this is every time we keep going back. We just think it's so sad. A new hidden gem in Carmichael! You heard me right; and it's one of my favorite types of desserts: gelato! Yes the creamy and delicious flavors of Eastern Europe has made its way into the suburbs of Sacramento, specifically at the beautiful indoor/outdoor food court also know as the Milagro Center. Nestled directly on Fair Oaks Blvd. in between Marconi Ave. and El Camino Ave., "GB Gelato" is a relatively new addition to the wonderful eateries that accompany this place. And this wouldn't be possible had it not been for the owner, Gabriel (whom my wife and I had the pleasure meeting during our first visit). We arrived on a warm Saturday night in late-July. Even though during the time of our visit (and this review), this was still during the time of the COVID-19 pandemic. Fortunately this actual business has no seating and their orders are all taken to go. After the owner let us sample multiple flavors, I finally settled with their Biscotti flavor while my wife went with their Cherry flavor. I must say, this place has got to be one of the best gelato places I've been to. Now I haven't had the opportunity to visit Europe (where gelato originated from) but man this stuff is really damn good. Her cherry had real bits of cherry while every savory bite was succulent and creamy. And my biscotti was a sweet tasty version of the popular cookie. Overall, "GB Gelato" is one of the best dessert places in all of Sacramento. Big props to Gabriel and the staff for an exceptional experience. My rating, a unanimous five stars. read more

I had the limoncello and I'm never turning back. It was so refreshing! I have no idea if it's real lemon but I like to think it's the closest we can get to the Amalfi coast right now. I highly recommend that you do the same because the prices are a little high and the portions are small. A small cup(approximately one scoop) will cost about $5.25. Fortunately this place accepts credit, debit & cash so don't worry if you only have a card. If you can look past those factors, you are surely to enjoy the natural flavors that they have to offer. My bf and I stopped here for some dessert. I was hoping to see some other flavors that they previously had like salted caramel or honeydew melon but unfortunately they didn't have it when I went. Wish they had a website or some sort where they post all of their flavors for the week. I got the Ferrero rocher which is my fave chocolate and my bf got the banana flavor! Mine also had a piece of the chocolate on there but it tasted kinda stale but the gelato itself was creamy and it was good. My bfs gelato tasted exactly like, well, bananas! The sorbet flavors are the standout here. They're unique combos that pair well together. Not only are the flavors richly fruity (not just some sugar taste!) but they also have a smooth richness to them unlike other ice sorbets. The mango peach and pear flavors were my favorite. I only take off a star because the Nutella flavor was just ok and the prices are bit up there for ok portions. But I'll definitely still be coming back to get more sorbet! read more
