I've gone a few times in the middle of the day and it's always pretty mellow, which I love. The staff are super sweet every time. I always get the mango sticky rice, and honestly, no place has beaten it. The chunks of mango are so good, and I love that there's extra sticky rice at the bottom--such a treat to scoop up once you finish the drink. My boyfriend is obsessed with the banana matcha sticky rice. It wasn't on the menu this time, but the worker still made it for him, which was really nice. It's just as delicious. Absolutely floored. Sad I didn't get more pictures. The cookies were phenomenal. They bring me to my knees. My boyfriend had the Vietnamese coffee, which was really strong and he liked it. I noticed they didn't fill it all the way up to the top, but maybe that standard. My friend and I had the banana Matcha and the pandan Matcha. The pandan Matcha was not too sweet at all, and it had a really nice balance of flavors! I actually really liked it. The banana matcha is definitely fresh banana which I thought was cool. Not sure how it tasted after some time, but both of the flavors were pretty fresh and not overly artificial which I liked because it felt more fresh. I can't wait to come back. It's actually so hard for me not to get the toasted coconut coffee that often when I want to try something new I buy two drinks. That being said, everything here is delicious and I love that they're always trying new recipes and creating seasonal specials. The macarons and cookies are flavorful, and indulgent and come in great flavors as well. They also make fun shaped macarons around the holidays that make great gifts. I finally made it back to Sweet Oven after a long while. Their food makes me so happy! I was able to snag one of the viral Dubai cookies (not the macaron). Such a unique and delicious take on pistachio kataifi, where the outside is a stretchy marshmallow-y cocoa dough similar to mochi. It's fun, messy to eat and costs $8. I also had to indulge in their savory breakfast croffle (crossaint dough waffle-ized) for $12. It's topped with a generous amount of avocado, arugula, pesto, egg and chili flakes. Really hit the spot especially with the fantastic coconut pandan matcha ($7.50) I ordered with my breakfast. I'm visiting from out of town and was craving comforting sweet treats when I stumbled upon Sweet Over Bakery on Yelp. I instantly knew I wanted to come here. The service was excellent, and the staff were patient and kind. I ordered the pistachio latte (they make their own pistachio butter in-house), and it was hands down the best pistachio latte I've ever had. I also got four macarons, a chewy Dubai chocolate cookie, and the banana Nutella croffle with strawberries added. Everything came out in a timely manner and tasted extremely fresh and delicious. I spent around $60 on everything, and the portion sizes were great and definitely worth it. I visited around 12pm and it wasn't too busy at all. When I mapped to this bakery it completely threw me off with where it was located because I initially expected it to be inside of a busy plaza with other eateries but instead there are tons of office buildings nearby hahaha. The reason why I wanted to come here was to try their macarons! We had the pleasure of finding this delicious bakery last week, I am just writing this now but the experience has not left my mind since we ordered! I ordered their Saigon Honeycomb Coffee and it had to have been one of the best flavor combinations in a coffee I have had to date! They make their Honeycomb candy topping from scratch that they add at the top and oh boy it did not disappoint! My Husband ordered their Banana Cream Matcha and I am normally not the biggest fan of banana flavored things when they are artificial tasting but not here, they use real ingredients and that Banana cream matcha was heavily! So glad to see that since they've become a physical location they've been getting a good inflow of customers despite the location being a bit hidden. I wanted to try the new biscoff tiramisu and sea salt cookie and I could tell they were just made- ive worked at a bakery and nothing can ever beat the newly fresh taste of a baked good Despite the sea salt caramel being on the sweet side (makes sense) it worked soo well with the semi sweet chips and the cookie broke apart easily- it was soft and chewy on the inside and the sea salt is such a needed touch The biscoff tiramisu was what I was mostly looking Forward to and did not disappoint. It had the perfect texture. Ironically I ended up loving the cookie the most! When I dipped it in the biscoff tiramisu I levitated for a sec actually recommend this combo. Came a couple times to try their sticky rice drinks and it was so delicious that it had me craving it to come back for more. The first time I came to try it, my bf and I got one of each - the Matcha Mango Sticky Rice and the Matcha Strawberry Sticky Rice drink. Both were good but we agreed that the mango hit a little better. The second time we came back, we decided to try something different and switch it up from Matcha to Jasmine milk tea since we both didn't care for the matcha as much. Sweet oven is one of my go to cafes and is 1000/10!! I am here all the time, and I am long overdue for writing a review. I've tried a majority of the vietnamese coffees here, as well as some of the matcha drinks, and they are each delicious! My favorites so far have been the black sesame coffee ($7.50), hazelnut coffee ($6.50) mango matcha sticky rice (ended up being ~$9), and recently the coconut avocado coffee (ended up being ~$11). Although the prices for some of the special drinks are a bit steeper, each of them are worth it! The photos attached are only some of the drinks I have tried--there were many more that aren't pictured. The owner is very sweet and is always brainstorming new ideas for drinks. You can tell that fresh ingredients are used in each individually crafted drink, and so much thought and love is poured into what she does. She is also very dedicated to her customers, and she was kind enough to wake up earlier so that I could purchase a drink before her opening hours. I work right around the corner and used to go right before work, but once they changed their hours, I unfortunately could only come during lunch. However, this past Friday, I really wanted to try her avocado coconut coffee, so I messaged her on instagram the night before and she was kind enough to accommodate me! She has an extensive menu, and not only do they make yummy drinks, but they also have macarons, deliciously large cookies that aren't too sweet (I tried the cookies and cream in the past), and cookie croissants. My coworkers and I used to order the breakfast sandwiches/burritos in the past that were also very tasty, but sadly that has since been discontinued. However, she just recently expanded the menu to include croffle options! Sweet oven shares a space with the sandwich spot, and there is plenty of seating inside to either relax, chat with others, or do work, as well as parking outside. I was looking for a dessert spot while at the Arden mall and found this gem. I used to see them at the farmers market and now I'm happy that they have a storefront, but it's in the most hidden spot ever! Service was really good, I got greeted upon entering. Fish sauce caramel latte that everyone is raving about, I do not get the hype?! I love fish sauce, don't get me wrong, but I don't taste the fish sauce? Also, the coffee is super strong, stronger than I would like. With a burnt after taste, so the coffee here is not my preference. I like strong viet coffee, but without that burnt taste like Phins, GU, and 18 grams. White rabbit candy macaron is cute! The macaron here is like huge compared to ginger elizabeth. We were in the area during happy hour and decided to take advantage of it to get some non-coffee drinks. My husband got a passion fruit lychee green tea off the $5 happy hour menu, and I tried to get a drink from the same menu too, but was told it was out of stock. As a result, I had to switch to something else and chose the Spring Refresher. Also, felt like their in-store menu was different than their online one, which is confusing. I guess I should've gotten my receipt or paid attention more to when the cashier was ringing me up (as an introvert, was flustered at having to change my drink while ordering), but it ended up being a total of around $16 (pretty pricey). Not sure if I was charged the happy hour price for the first drink or not... Anyway, we waited a bit for our drinks to be made since there were other customers there too. Then, they gave our drinks to someone else and had to run after them to return them to us. Maybe they should consider a number or name system so they don't get the orders mixed up. Although they offered to remake our drinks, we chose not to since it seemed like a hassle and the drinks weren't tried yet. My husband felt like his drink tasted artificial 'cause of the lychee jelly, but my drink was good. I decided to switch our drinks since he liked my drink and I like lychee jelly. I will say that the combo of passion fruit and lychee jelly didn't really go together since the jelly was overpowering the drink. I was shocked when I went here since it was in a place surrounded by random office buildings. There was plenty parking spots. The inside reminds me of a little cafeteria. Me and my friend went when it was closing in 20 minutes expecting that they ran out of the Dubai chewy cookie since it's high in demand. To our surprised they had it in stock! I ordered the strawberry matcha and Dubai chewy cookie. My friend ordered the banana cream matcha, chocolate macaron (I don't remember what the flavor was all I know it was fully chocolate), and Dubai chewy cookie. The Dubai chewy cookie is exactly how I thought it would taste and it was delicious. If you love Dubai chocolate you would love this! If you're not of a fan of cocoa powder then you should probably skip this since there's a lot of it but I personally liked it. It wasn't too sweet and it wasn't too dry. It was the perfect balance. Some Dubai chewy cookies are mochi or marshmallow base and this place uses the marshmallow base. The size is also bigger than I expected which was a nice surprise. There's an option to buy singles or a 4 pack. 10/10 for me especially as a Dubai chocolate loverrr. The strawberry matcha was pretty good as well. The strawberry tasted like real fresh strawberry instead of those store bought strawberry purée that taste artificial. The fact that they used fresh strawberry brought a refreshing taste to the drink. I mixed it for a few seconds, drank it from the top, and I could taste the matcha. It was nice but after u mix the drink fully I could barely taste the matcha unfortunately. If it's possible I would ask if they offer double shots. I only took a few sips of the Banana cream matcha and it was also good too. It also tasted like they used real banana. Same case as the strawberry matcha where the the matcha taste gets lost a bit. I also notice they hand whisk their matcha so for those who care about that so now you know loll. The taste of the matcha drinks is leaning towards the sweeter side. I also forgot to order oat milk with it and I'm lactose intolerant but thankfully my stomach was okay so idk what type of milk they used but it didn't make me blow up the toilet which is a relief lol. For the matcha's it's a 7.9/10. If they offer double shots I would consider trying it again. The chocolate macaron was very cute and yummy! All of their pastries look well made as well. FREAKING LOVE THIS PLACE! Ok look let me tell you, it's hidden in a business park BUT once you find it ... it's ON! Nothing in this place is watered down, you get the full flavor. The Vietnamese coffee is delicious and flavorful. The iced coconut latte is one of my FAVORITES- it has the full espresso flavor and topped with a frothy creamy whipped foam and toasted coconut not a lot just perfect where it does its job and doesn't take away from all the flavors. The cookies and macarons are something special. And PS, they also make sandwiches. read more

Early Cmas prezzie for me! Won the $25 gift card! So went down to try their famous macarons! Scored a box of Dubai chocolate macarons for the fun White Elephant gift exchange with family (oh yeah, they will fight over that!). I also got a sampler of my faves - pandan coconut, Dubai chocolate, vanilla bean, white rabbit, and pistachio! There's tons more flavors, too...like passionfruit raspberry! I also got a pandan cookie (couldn't ressit)! Will need to come back and try more! Thanks again to Sweet Oven Bakery for the generous prize and delicious treats! They are in the same location that The Spot Sandwich shop is located. So I granbed a hot pastrami sammie, too! Was also a great sandwich!! read more

Super friendly service. Plenty of parking since it's in an office building area. You can tell that all the macarons use fresh ingredients. The ube cookie was good but I wasn't expecting coconut in there for some reason. And I'm personally not a fan of coconut. But the texture and flavors were really good. read more
