Found this spot out of the blue when I was walking during lunch. Decided to check them out to see what kind of drinks and baked goods they had. I ended up ordering the Hong Kong Style Milk Tea. I thought it was good. Good balance flavor, bold and not too sweet. Baked goods were okay, not much of selection. Service was good. Only seating is outside where they set up two picnic tables. It would be perfect when the weather is not so hot.
Great place to hangout with friends or get a drink near Safeway or Ace of Spades. We were surrounded by great plants (and hummingbirds were visiting them) when we were chilling outside on the picnic table. The breads were good.
Such a cute cafe! It's in a home style building with adorable decoration. There's a patio area outside to sit and little area inside where you can buy knick knacks (ie plushies, magnets, etc). We tried the matcha and strawberry crepe cakes and matcha chocolate toast. The strawberry crepe cake was my favorite- very light and fresh. The cashier was also very nice.
My friends and I all ordered the caramel mewochiato (such a cute name) and we all liked it a lot! The desserts are also good, they have unique options. We got the sweet corn basque cheesecake and I Ioved that it tasted a lot like corn. The staff here is so sweet. I originally ordered the cheese foam coconut latte which wasn't quite to my taste, but they were so kind to make me a new drink and even asked for feedback. The cheese foam itself is quite delicious though, tastes just like cheesecake! The outdoor patio is such a cute area and photospot. It reminded me of cafes I love in Asia that have a cozy, comfortable vibe. We even had a surprise cat guest who came to visit while we drank our coffee on the cute benches outside. I will definitely be coming back and would recommend for anyone who wants to check out a super cute coffee spot!
Sitting near a train track you'll find the most kawaii spot ever. Looks like it belongs in an anime. Enjoying a treat on their patio as you hear the trains go by sure does remind me of japan. If you are looking for that feeling you'll find that here. Like seriously, animation comes to life here. Upon arriving on a slow rainy day there was no line so there was no wait time. So many options to choose from but the one that i most wanted was their garlic creme cheese bread. Just wow, like literally mind blowing. I asked for it warmed up which paired so nicely with the cold weather. The employee was so kind and they had the cutest little trinkets in there along with such a cute puppy! This place makes for the perfect kawaii hangout! As for what i ordered - Garlic cream cheese bread 1000000 % recommend. STILL dreaming about this till this day!!!
The sisters that run Meow Me are so sweet. Today I visited and requested the black sesame latte in a matcha latte. 10/10 would recommend and request again. I hope they add to their drink rotation, for now, I started a secret menu While the cafe is cat themed, they do have a porch cat and bird.
So cute and cozy in this cafe! Upon walking in, you see an assortment of baked goodies and pastries. As you go in further, you can see they have shelves of cat merchandise! It's so cute! Their outside seating area is also very cute and can be pet friendly. I got a matcha latte and a matcha cookie. The matcha was good, but I wish it could have been a little sweeter. But, I can tell the barista whisked it by hand because of the dark green color, and the taste was very earthy, fresh, and healthy. It was a bit on the pricey side, because the cookie was nearly $4, but it tasted so good!! They have their prices of the pastries listed on the window, so you know what you're paying for. The barista was very kind and patient. He attended to me right away as soon as he heard the door open. I also didn't mind the wait for my drink at all, because I knew he was probably whisking the matcha and making sure it was good before serving it.

There's tons of cute merchandise and fun items you can purchase, plus a separate room where people can hang out and chill. The whole space is adorable and cozy, but it definitely deserves more advertising because I feel like so many people would love it if they knew about it. Such a cute spot -- I'm glad I stopped by!
Came to check out this cat themed bakery on a Friday afternoon for some light bites before heading back home. The front garden was so cozy and nicely maintained. Too bad I had to take the food to go this time. The staff was super helpful recommending this amazing-looking garlic cream cheese bun. It was golden brown and perfectly sliced, with this irresistible filling oozing out. The garlic was perfectly pungent, the cream cheese was rich and smooth, and the bread was soft yet chewy. All in all, a truly delightful and delicious experience!
This cafe has a lot of potential, but you can tell they're figuring things out. They opened in early June and the outside is super cute with signage and some seating. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and they have their baked goods on display on the front counter along with the menu. Most of the drinks are premade but they did have a couple coffee drinks, including the coconut latte that I tried. When they're busy the line does get in the way of entering the back area where they have items for sale like mugs, socks, gifts, and trinkets. There was also a room with an open door that may be for enjoying your items there- but it was unclear and may have been a staff area. I didn't end up going in, but maybe a little sign would make it more clear. The coffee was ok, not something I'd go out of my way for and I feel like I need to try their baked goods to properly experience the business, since those seem to be what they're really known for. I'm interested to see how this business changes as they settle in. If the orientation of the cafe changes- maybe have the register in the back room with the store items in the room with the door, and seating in the front area? I'd also love to see more house made drinks available.
Stopped in with a few friends for some caffeine. I had seen this place online before, but was a little surprised by how it is in person. The decor is super cute and all centered on cats. They even have a room full of cat merch you can buy! There are lots of places to sit and it feels very cozy and homey. The staff are friendly but do not rush you. However, the food and drink options are very limited. They only make three drinks in house - lattes, coconut lattes, and matcha lattes. Everything else comes pre-packaged. The food does get made in house, but is also on the expensive side. I ordered an iced matcha latte with oat milk. The oat milk was an additional charge and they did not have options for syrups or flavorings. The matcha itself is pretty high quality, but I don't know that I would come back unless they are able to expand their house-made offerings and adjust their prices. Edit: I should note that the tops they use for their drinks spill frequently and do not keep the liquid inside. Make sure you have a separate container to switch your drink into!
Stopped by for a quick snack before running errands--had the basque cheesecake as well but didn't manage to get a picture. Overall the place is very cute, the drinks were great and the basque cheesecake was the right balance of rich but not too sweet. Loved the cat theme!
I stopped by with a friend to admire the cute cat items and try some tasty treats. The cat merchandise was absolutely adorable and the shop was bright and airy. The service was quick and efficient. We ordered a cinnamon twist, garlic bun, vanilla latte, and a chocolate lava toast. They warned up the treats for us and they were good! They only had one drink special. Hopefully with time they will have more options (maybe matcha for those of us who don't like coffee? :) ) I really wanted a crepe cake but you need you order in advance. So I will have to try it next time!
Simple cafe with cute cat decorations and limited outdoor seating. Inside there's some shelves with cat themed items for purchase, and they seem to share a space with an appointment-based nail artist. They serve some coffee and some matcha options that we didn't partake in. We came for a little sweet treat and picked up a slice of durian crepe cake. They had other flavors like, chocolate, strawberry and seasonal too. None are on display though some other pastries like cookies were. Durian crepe cake (4.5/5) was $12+tax/tip and came out nice and chilled. The durian flavor is delicate with the fresh cream layers, there's maybe 3-4 layers of durian throughout the cake, but more would be better. I would come back to get it again despite the cost since it's a rare flavor. read more
We found this little hidden gem totally on a whim! This cafe is situated in a little house just off of R Street. It has an eclectic little entrance that features some tables amongst its high porch. Going in you're greeted by the menu and a little case of bakery items. This is a bakery that serves Asian baked goods such as egg tarts and hot dog buns. They have a nice selection that you can choose from. I chose to get the egg tarts because these can sometimes be difficult to find in Sacramento. The kind they have are the Portuguese style egg tarts. This is certainly a nice place if you need to get your egg tarts job in! Meow Me also has a good selection of beverages to try. We got the matcha latte and thought the flavor of the matcha was spot on. Sometimes matcha can be masked with too much sweetness, but this cafe serves up a nice balanced version of matcha. Interestingly, there is also a little gift shop inside that sells little bags, cute socks, and other small items. Meow Me is certainly worth checking out! read more
Cute Cat-Themed Cafe (No Real Cats!) Despite its name and all the cat decorations, Meow Me Cafe is not a real cat cafe: there are no live cats here. Instead, it's a cute Asian-inspired bakery and café with lots of cat-themed decor and gifts. They have a little gift section in the back selling adorable cat mugs, socks, plushies, and other fun trinkets. Perfect if you're a cat lover. Everything is made in-house, including their pastries and cakes. They offer unique treats like matcha milk toast, sesame matcha cookies, and crepe cakes. If you're looking for a whole cake, you can preorder one for $72. This is definitely a place I'll come back to whenever I'm craving crepe cake. The matcha crepe cake was really good, and they even have a durian crepe cake, which you don't see very often. For drinks, I recommend the Coconut Latte and the Sesame Black Latte. The café is small, clean, and cozy. They just celebrated their first anniversary and are planning to renovate to add more indoor seating. There's no restroom for public customers. The café sits right next to the railroad tracks, so you'll hear the train occasionally, but the noise isn't too bad if you're sitting inside. They play relaxing music, and the AC was blasting, which was perfect on a hot Sacramento day. Cute spot, tasty desserts, and great lattes. I'd definitely come back! read more

Meow Me Cafe is such a cute local cafe. There is a counter at the entrance where you get your food and drinks. To the side of the shop there are displays with cat themed items from socks to coffee cups to keychains. I bought one of the little keychains while I was there. We stopped in on a Friday around 11 am. I ordered the madeleines and coconut latte. My friend ordered the mochi croissant and a cold brew coffee in a can. There is no seating inside but there are tables and chairs outside to use. Outside has a cute garden vibe. The person running the cafe was very nice and helpful. The food and coffees were good and we will definitely be back. read more
Omg this place is sooooooo cute!!! Inside is small but they have a small room inside with seating and benches outside. Bakery has good variety. Service was good. I'm giving this place a 3 star because it's not really a cafe. All their drinks are bottled and canned. They have regular brewed coffee and one latte that is not canned/ bottle. Idk if you can be a cafe with just two actual cafe drinks. But location and everything was so cute I was just disappointed from the non- cafe part. read more

What a gem! This place is close to R Street such as Majika Pizzeria Bakery, Tea Cozy, and Camellia coffee roasters and much more! Beautiful I tried the pork floss pastry bun as the young gentleman recommended, in addition to the matcha mochi croissant, chocolate mochi croissant, and corn spinach ciabatta bread! The owner recommend making a sandwich out of it and enjoying it! Service is wonderful, attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and patient. They have matcha basque, strawberry basque, and class basque cheesecakes, numerous crepe cakes by the slice for preorder, customizable cakes, and numerous other baked goods! Such a cute place to open up! It's in a yellow house in midtown and has a cute lil patio in the front where you can chill and eat. The service was so friendly and kind too! Since it's the soft opening they are also giving out coupons. Wasn't a lot left since I went at 5 but the cookie and ciabatta were both delicious! They said they recommend coming in right when they open til like one before they sell out of their most popular items. Can't wait to come back earlier to try even more goodies! read more
I suggest to come early to make sure they have all the pastries available but not too early as they may still be making them. We went right at opening and had to wait for more items to finish baking. We tried the matcha cookies, matcha croissant, and corn cheese pastries. Initial thoughts are that the matcha croissant was tasty! It had a sweet cream cheese filling, and the mochi top was stretchy, which made the overall pastry interesting. Matcha cookies tasted good as well, it is not overly sweet and have a strong matcha flavor. The corn cheese pastry would have been a 10/10 if it was warm. They brewed coffee and gave it out for free, which was nice! I wish they served matcha drinks or lattes, but they only have packaged drinks and baked goods. They also have a really cute outdoor seating area so you can chat and eat pastries with your friends. I think if they had cat-themed pastries, that would bring this place over the top! This cafe is super cute! Themed after cats, it's located in a corner two story house next to the train tracks, but the lower level of the house is turned into a bakery shop. It's giving cottage core vibes as there are wooden tables/benches out in the front lawn, beautiful plants around the wooden fence and porch, and the design is very spring-like theme! Inside has very limited space, there aren't any tables, just a small seating area. I love the simple yet cute decor they have in the main entrance. When you venture to the back, there are shelves of products they sell and a cute grass wall of small keychains/plush/figures(?). The staff members were kind and provided quick service! This store has items pre-made and pre-packaged so it's super quick to pick what you'd like and leave. I was really bummed that this cafe doesn't make any drinks, only sold pre-made drinks. Here are the pastries I bought: 9/10 Mochi chocolate croissant: Although the croissant isn't crunchy/flaky, this was really good! The inside of the croissant has very light whipped chocolate cream and on top has mochi dusted with cocoa powder. It was delicious and not sweet at all. I definitely recommend trying it! 8/10 Potato bread: It's just mash potato enclosed in bread. A healthier version of a fried croquette is how I interpret this pastry. 8/10 Hotdog bread: The hotdog was good, and the bread was good. 8/10 Madeleines: It was a bit dry, but still delicious. Maybe it was sitting out there for quite a while. It was good. 6/10 Matcha sesame cookie: Same thing, but a bit stale. I taste more sesame than matcha. Was okay to me. I'd come back to try their cheesecake and their pre-ordered cakes! read more
Went here over the weekend during their soft opening! I think it is so important to remember they are soft opening so obviously they are working through inventory and demand. I love that they have online ordering so that's what I did and the process was straightforward. They did text me a good amount of time before my set pick up time to let me know that they were swamped and asked if I could pick up a later time or get a refund. It was a chill Sunday for me so I agreed to pick it up later! I love the space, it's a tiny café style in-between a busy restaurant street and neighborhood. The outside has seats and honestly would have been a cute date spot. Pick up was easy and the staff were so kind! Please be patient with them! They are just two-ish people who are overwhelmed by the support they are getting. The crepe cakes were fresh and soft! The durian crepe cake was a great pick me up! I highly recommend it if you're a durian fan. I'm definitely interested in ordering a birthday cake from them in the future! read more

Meow Cafe truly understood the assignment. The second you walk in, it's cats everywhere ,cat wall art, cat vibes, cat happiness. They have so many snacks and pastries up front, plus different coffees and matchas, and EVERYTHING on the menu was under $5 which is rare these days Then you walk to the back and it's basically cat heaven ,mugs, pencils, magnets, plushies... if you love cats, you're leaving with something you didn't plan on buying. They even have a little lounge room and the outside benches are so pretty and chill. It's giving cozy, calm, main character energy. The guy working up front was super friendly and welcoming, and my matcha was great ,not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. read more
SUPER CUTE CAFE! I really enjoyed my stop here. My friends and I came before movie day. We got matcha, cold brew, and kombucha. All the drinks were delicious, especially their matcha. The ambiance is beautiful. So cute and full of nature. They also have very cute cat related items in their store. Service was excellent as well! read more

I came here in the morning right when they opened last week and was honestly a bit underwhelmed! The outside was so cute with the gated seating area and it would be a cute place to hang out, but the drink options are all bottled so it's not a full on cafe, more like a bakery. A lot of the fun unique pastries I saw on Instagram weren't even available either, like the mochi croissant or matcha toast. I had waited 15 minutes already until they opened and was second in line so I felt like I had to get something since I was already there. I got a matcha sesame cookie which didn't taste same day fresh, a little bit too hard for me. I really wanted to love this place since we need more non-chain bakeries around! But I'll have to return later and give it another shot after they've been open for longer. read more

Such a cute little shop! I bought one of their pastries that caught my eyes, Matcha Mochi croissant. The mochi pairs so well with the croissant, it wasnt super chewy like your usual mochi it just compliments the croissant. There's also some matcha fillings inside. They have so many cute items for sale and also some items for your cats (toys, nail clippers, etc.). There was only one cashier staff, so not very much communication happening. I think they have other services as well, not sure because there's a waiting room area. Really hoping this shop florish! Would be nice to see more bakeries & drink items on their menu! read more

This place is sooooo cute! I was immediately delighted when I saw the beautiful patio area. I tried the garlic cream cheese puff and an iced latte. Everything tasted amazing. The employee was super kind and invited me to take a look around the store while I waited for my drink. They have a ton of cat themed merchandise & other cute little stuff as well. You guys have to try the brand new Meow Me Café--an adorable bakery-café in Midtown, on 14th, between Q & R (near the tracks). The owner is as sweet as her baked creations! I love the matcha products, including a cookie, and the matcha cheesecake is to die for! Prices are fair and there's a super cute kitty-related gift shop in the back. Yum yum!!! read more
