Mochi donuts: Funnel and Original
Herminio T.

Tried the original beef and potato half and half K-Dogs today. They were very good. The half and half potato one with the cheese was my favorite one. My friend got the elote and he enjoyed it even better. Service was fast. The place was mostly quiet and lonely for a Monday lunch outing. They were out of ketchup, so hope they get some more soon.

Open but CLOSED for undetermined amount of time more than 30min.

For the second time we've come over for lunch to see a handwritten note. Lunch break blown without getting food. They're good when they are here during posted open hours. Do they close for lunch? Waited 30min and nobody showed up. They don't accept phone calls. Eaten from here once and it was tasty...but hard to get.

Thai Tea Lavender Black sesame

Flavor was good and they weren't rich/greasy. My favorite one ended up being the lavender one! the gummy bear on top was super cute and complimented the sweetness. They were all not too sweet though which was very nice in comparison to typical doughnuts. Service was solid, vert relaxed as I was looking through the flavors. Parking a lil hard here due to the location but lots of cute spits of you end up walking.

Right when I entered the small location I noticed the Kings mochinut sign, so cute!! Parking is difficult, street parking but all the meters that had open spots did not work. We found one and tried quarters which turned it green but we didn't know how long it was for because all the screens on the meters don't show. The ones that did, there was a car already parked in it yet their light was red. We drove around and saw a meter guy. So with the green light we figured we would be quick in n out which would have happened if I just got donuts but I wanted to try the elote Korean corndog It was ok, something new to try at least. I like elote n the Korean corndog but just not together. I realized I like it best when it's crunchy so I would choose potatoes or ramen The Dubai donut was ok but my friend really liked it. The other donuts we chose were delicious and half eaten that Tuesday afternoon and finished the other half the next day. Highly suggest them but hopefully the city fixes the meters and add handicapped spaces too

Always a good time when i come in to Mochinut. Nice and helpful staff and good sweets!! I was disappointed by the mango matcha today (its limited time) as it was so gritting and thick. So maybe pass on that but I would recommend the Thai Tea. That boba seemed over cooked but not too horrible. The inside is small with some seating, but comfortable enough to finish your donut!

I've been standing here over 20 minutes, won't take phone calls and can't place an order on doordash. I'm in a rush, not sure why they would take a break right after opening! Thursday 4/2/2026 at 10:10 am

Premade? Disgusting it's suppose to be made to order
Daniel C.

Owners are lazy and all they do is make TikTok's all day long... all The donuts are premade and not fresh to order I typically would go to Roseville location which is a lot better everything is made fresh to order ! This location and Rancho Cordova are lazy horrible management to say the least will not be going here again

Service always has been great. And I love their mochi donuts. I do feel like the beef hot dog from the Koran dog, is like 1/3 not half and it is very skimpy, compared to the pictures. Those look meaty. It is quite deceiving. It is a little overprice for the quality of the beef hotdog. Everything else is good. Line their box drinks, specially the ube. This place is bright and appears plush god music. There display and toys look nice.

Always a solid choice for donuts and especially the Korean hot dogs! I cycle next door and didn't realize there was a mochinut right next door so I had to drop in and get some of their Halloween decorated donuts! I got the original cinnamon, Oreo and chocolate! Super yummy and very mochi like. I also got the full mozzarella which was bomb as usual. This location has a bunch of toppings like takis and hot Cheetos as well so that's pretty cool! Give this place a try if you are in the area!

OG, blueberry and lychee
Valerie A.

I'm not really a donut person but mochi donuts are definitely something special. The texture is really light, and I love how easy it is to pull off and share the mochi balls. When we visited, we started with three donuts, then immediately came back to get more. We tried the OG, blueberry, Oreo, lychee fruit and milk tea. OG and blueberry were our faves. The server was really friendly and helpful and overall it was a great experience.

Cute blue mochinut box
Sheree H.

Mochinut has some pretty interesting flavors that rotate weekly. Be sure to check out their social media for current flavors. The texture is light and fluffy. And every donut is very fresh. This location is small and quaint with big windows and a to-go counter. The service is always fast and easy. Parking can be an issue since it's in a very popular area but there is big parking lot 1-2 blocks away if you are unable to find street parking.

The mochinut are great. There was no line when I visited and friendly staff. Parking might be the only issue but that's location specific.

Are these gluten free?

From the website FAQ's: Our Mochinuts do contain small portion of wheat flour, egg & milk powder, so it is not gluten-free, vegan, or dairy free. We do hope to release those option in the future !

Does this location have other sauces besides ketchup and mustard? And do they put sugar on the Korean dogs like other establishments?

If you request sugar they will add it!

Any Keto options, dessert and/or meal?

Unfortunately the only thing I have found to be semi keto or lower carb is black milk tea w no sugar. Or plain tea. Or just the meat inside the hotdogs. Hope that helps!

Are the corn dogs available at all times now? As of 12/7/21?

They are in stock!

Are mochinuts Vegan?

according to their website, no ☹️

What forms of payment is accepted at this establishment?

I used a card, all I believe!

Are they still serving their corn dogs on the weekends?

Yes, they have their korean corn dogs from Friday through Sunday, 4pm to closing as of 9/1/21

Are the hot dogs all beef?

Yes they use beef hotdogs, but you can customize the inside to be whole mozzarella or half mozzarella/half hotdog.

Tried to call but the number listed isn't set up yet, do you have the hotdogs available yet?

As of 8/22, corn dogs are only friday- Sunday, from 4pm to closing. It's only their soft opening right now though.

When you enter the store the deli counter is to the left. You begin your order by filling out a small piece of paper which tells the sandwich makers what to put on your sandwich. Once your selections are made place the paper on a small black plate at the end of the counter right next to where you filled out order sheet. I usually go with a turkey, bacon and avocado sandwich with pepper jack for the cheese. They have all of the usual fixings expected at a deli shop. Just circle what you want and wait for them to call your name. What made the sandwich stand out was the generous portion size and the fresh bread. The Dutch crunch actually crunched!!! They have tables and chairs outside to the left of the entrance to sit and eat. The store opened in 1947 and the food was excellent. Will most definitely be back when I am in the town!!

Whenever this happens I end up leaving with a lot more items. I appreciate that they carry a wide variety of items including some ingredients and items that are hard to find in the US and even at other Asian grocery stores. I've stopped into many different stores and I feel like Oto's has variety and quality at a great price. But none of those reasons are the real reason I truly love Oto's,let me tell you what I really love.....Late last year I decided I was going to learn how to make my favorite food in the world and that is sushi.I went ham,I got the knives I got the kits,I got the rice maker,I got all the seasonings but what I didn't have was a spot to pick up the highest level of fish that was needed to really make homemade sushi pop and that is where Oto's came in to save the day. Their daily "sushi-grade" tuna and salmon that they sell in the back of the store is so next level-even a novice like myself cannot mess up a homemade sushi meal. They have so much to offer at Oto's,all the different levels of salmon and tuna, depending on your budget but all of it is amazing. I will forever be indebted to Oto's for helping me raise my sushi game at home and making my wife think that I'm just the best sushi maker-when it was always just the high quality fish offered at Oto's that did the work-Thank You Oto's for that. In closing-if you ever find yourself in the Land Park area and want to see what all the hype is about at this incredible spot or maybe you just want to try your hand at some home sushi making,be sure to stop by Oto's Marketplace-it truly is a gem amongst gems. PS....Parking sucks here-no way around that one unless u get lucky or have a handicap placard-don't like the parking.

For those living in the neighborhood this is such a convenient spot. This is a smaller grocery store so you won't be able to find everything, but what they do have is plenty. There's fresh produce, wine, beer, shelf stable items essential to everyday recipes, and where they really shine is their deli and butcher area. They also have some prepared items like desserts, salads, dressings, pickles, dips, and more. On my latest visit I ended up ordering their Italian Hero ($11.99) from the deli counter, and picked up some of their pickles and house made caesar dressing. Everything was high quality and I loved that they have these options available. The Caesar dressing is delicious and I'll definitely be stopping in again for more. I've been using it on salads since picking it up. It had a good amount of parmesan cheese so The pickles have a very unique flavor, they're definitely tasty but not my favorite version of Dill Pickles- they are more tangy and zingy that traditional dill pickles, not bad just not what I expected. (I was thinking more kosher dill, like Claussen pickles or like the pickles you'd get at a Jewish deli). The sandwich was the star of the show, for $11.99 it was HUGE, the Italian Hero comes with prosciutto, mortadella, salami, roasted red bell pepper, and provolone- all sandwiches also come with mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, red onion, pickles, and pepperoncini. The combination of ingredients on Dutch Crunch bread was amazing and I think having roasted red peppers as an option is underrated, it elevates a sandwich so much. While I wouldn't do my normal shopping here, I would absolutely come for specialty items or pick up needed items for convenience. I'll be back again soon!
