Pegasus has really good freshly baked buns both savory and sweets! There's lots of options to choose from. They also have actual meals if you want something more filling. I got the 3 flavored custard bun, pineapple bun, and hotdog bun, as well as Hong Kong milk tea. Very affordable for the amount and quality you get. There's plenty of seating you want to do some work! Came here on a busy Saturday. Since it's in a busy plaza, parking can be tricky!

Fresh fruit custom cake with macaroons and chocolate topper

I often order custom cakes from Pegasus as they make the most delicious fruit basket and fruit flavored cake cakes around their coffee. Roll is also very delicious today I came in for barbecue pork bow because their barbecue pork bow are insanely good. They are more expensive in many places, but they're very large and just something you can't get anywhere else.. basically a walk up in order from the counter or select your bakery items that are set out. They also have frozen items that you can bake at home or you can order some hot food and they have a whole big dining area where you can eat at there there's also tables outside. They have insanely good coffee and other drink drinks here as well.

This place is cute. It had a lot of different pastry options, both sweet and savory. The bakery had a lot of fresh cake options. You can purchase from behind the counter as well. There was also even an ice cream offered. I was surprised to see that. It offered a lot of traditional Asian type pastries, like egg tart, taro buns things like that. I got several things to try. They were all delicious. The parking for the parking lot is very busy. It was tough to find a space, but that's OK. It was worth it. There's seating inside or you can sit outside. I chose to sit outside because it was a nice day. I really like that when you go in you grab a tray and a pair of tongs and you can put whatever you want to purchase on your tray or you can bag it freshly to take home to eat later. I'll definitely go to this place again the next time I'm in South sac

Amazing bakery and great friendly service! They also have tasty food. I really like the coconut cream pastry. Establishment is cute and clean!

They have many options for the macarons, small and large ones. Smalls are sold as 6+ pcs, and large ones are $4 ea.

Ordered the panda coconut 8in cake. Decorations were nice, but unfortunately, we could not taste any panda flavor in the cake itself. Cake was also kind of dry, not as moist as it should have been. Cake definitely fell short of expectations. It was very expensive too! $55 for an 8in Cake. I'm so disappointed that T&T Bakery closed down, they were by far the best Asian Cake bakery ever! Such a disappointment that I forgot to take pictures of the inside of the cake itself. Filing was ok. Not the best, just okay.

I was in the shopping center eating a sandwich and was kinda thirsty so I stumbled upon this place and I was like let me get something to drink. Once I walked in, I was kinda of shocked on how big the place was and how nice everything looked inside. They have a lot of items that suit different needs. All the pastries look delicious too bad I couldn't have any cause I had just ate. The two ladies at the front counter were very nice and explained the difference between the drinks. I asked them about. My drink of choice was a Hong Kong milk tea. It tasted amazing. The only bad thing was that I asked for Boba but they didn't end up putting in it. Oh well I'll try it next time. They have a very big lobby inside. I could only imagine how busy it gets on the weekend.

You're not going to get the best baked goods you've ever tried from Pegasus, but it's average to good. I've stopped in every so often, but I don't love it enough to be a regular. I recently tried the following: Taro Bun, Ham & Egg Bun, BBQ Pork Bun, Red Bean Bun, Custard Bun, and Corn & Ham Cheese Bun. Some things are better than others...I personally enjoy the Taro Bun; it has the "Pineapple" top. They have a good range of options, both sweet and savory. Stop by if you're in the area, but it's not a destination imo.

Cantonese bakery that offers breakfast.  Let's go. Plenty of parking outside and plenty of sitting inside. Waitress was super polite which I am not used to. I ordered the pork and century egg porridge with Chinese donut.  It was just ok.  Hubby got the club sandwich.  It was so much food, we took half of it to go and had it for lunch. We also ordered some pastries to go.  I thought they were par.

I frequent Pegasus when I am in South Sac. Their pastries are delicious!! I love the assortment of snacks they have, which always has a few old favorites and a few new things to try. Most of their baked goods are reasonably priced, but none are such good value as their roll cakes and egg tarts. Those are always the perfect level of sweet, flaky, and buttery - I really enjoy how their buttercream tastes like BUTTER instead of just sugar. The inside of the bakery is simple and clean, with the classic self-service tongs and trays that you see in most Asian bakeries. The staff have always been friendly and helpful, and will sometimes give tips for maximizing their reward points or free samples. I've never had anything I didn't like from here!

Fresh fruit vanilla cake

It's a cool spot in a plaza full of restaurants, and I like that they have a seating area. Their decorations are always nice too. Service is just okay. The employees aren't rude, but they don't seem super enthusiastic either. Most of the pastries I've tried are just alright, nothing really stands out. They're priced about the same as 85°C Bakery for reference. I thought I'd give their cake a try. Honestly, it was pretty disappointing. I ordered a custom 8-inch vanilla cake with fresh fruit filling for my dad's birthday, and it came out to $60, which feels expensive compared to 85°C or Paris Baguette. On top of that, they charged an extra 50 cents for the knife. It's not a big deal, but it's just kind of weird to charge for something so small. The cake itself was light, with whipped cream that wasn't too sweet, which I liked. But there was way too much cantaloupe and honeydew in the filling, and the fruit didn't add much flavor. Because the filling was mostly cream and fruit, the cake wasn't stable. It kept falling apart when we tried to cut it. The decoration and writing on top weren't great either. Honestly, I wouldn't order a cake here again unless you're specifically looking for a cute custom design. Otherwise, the quality and price don't really feel worth it.

The half filled egg tarts and whatever happened 2nd row 3rd egg tart.

When a customer ask to buy 8 egg tarts, but the employees convince you buy 9 so the box can be complete. Which is fine. However to the employees that sold us the egg tarts. You guys are very dishonest in your practice. You guys deceived us and sold us these egg tarts. Half filled and broken. These egg tarts cost $2.08. Average price and you guys probably make over 200% in profit per each egg tart sold. So why be dishonest and sell customer these bad egg tarts. Very dishonest to run a business like this. Just sell the good one and toss the bad ones. Future customers: Always check your pastries before leaving the store.

It was my wife's 40th birthday and I reached out to Pegasus to see what ideas and designs they had. After a few conversations I wanted a custom designed cake. It took a few easy days of back and forth conversations to finalize the design and fillings but wow! The turn out was 10/10. My wife and all our guest loved the cake. Even while picking up the cake, a customer at Pegasus, gave me compliments of the cake design and asked to take a photo. Thank you to their entire staff for their efforts.

After all these years, I would have a craving from time to time so I always return and say hello to the owner. Besides, they make a lovely goodie box for a party and I always throw in a bag of dinner rolls because the quality of their bread is so soft and delicious. I'll be lucky if I still have 1/4 of the bag by the time I get home.

I've been coming to Estelle's Bakery & Patisserie for years since I used to live only a block away,…read moreso it became one of my favorite places to walk to for tea and desserts. I've since moved out of state, but during my last visit in January this year, the treats and drinks were just as delicious as I remembered. This was always one of my favorite spots to spend a few hours catching up with girlfriends over tea and pastries. The ambience is lovely and gives off fancy tea party vibes, making it perfect for casual conversations, book discussions, or just relaxing with something sweet. My personal favorites are the rose macaron and the mont blanc desserts. If I'm feeling hungry, I usually order the ratatouille, and the vanilla bean French toast is amazing when I want something sweet but filling. Matcha is always my go-to drink here too (though it's on the sweet side, so I don't think it's ceremonial grade). I remember my first visit; It was when I stopped by later in the day looking for a birthday cake for my son's 8th birthday about five years ago. I ended up choosing their chocolate mousse cake on a whim since it was one of the cakes they still had on display, and it turned out to be a good decision. My son loved it, but it was too chocolatey for me so he ended up having most of the cake. Still one of the memories I remember most from here. It was something I kept in mind that if I wanted more options and variety, I should arrive earlier in the day. There are a few downsides that keep this from being a full 5 stars for me though. The parking lot is very small and street parking can be difficult, especially during busy hours. The place gets crowded very easily, which is why I usually preferred walking there when I lived nearby. There's often a guard stationed at the front kindly holding the door open, though I imagine that's also due to the neighborhood. Pricing is definitely on the expensive side, but honestly that's fairly expected with a patisserie. My biggest issue is that service can noticeably decline when they're overwhelmed. Depending on when you visit, the line can get absurdly long (almost out the front door), and I've experienced slower service and even had my drink mixed up with another customer's order once. Since I order oat milk due to lactose intolerance, getting the order correct is pretty important. Thankfully, when the bakery isn't overly busy and adequately staffed, the employees are attentive, friendly, and very helpful with the ordering process if you have questions. It is still one of the Sacramento bakeries I miss after moving away. It was so lovely to have a bakery down the street from home.

I got the matcha croissant ive been hearing about, the new blueberry cream croissant and the mango passionfruit entremet. The Croissants were a huge flop. Blueberry had barely enough filling inside-the cream itself was tasty but croissant was rough in texture and not flaky. Matcha was a bit more flaky and had more filling-I wouldn't say GENEROUS amount as some have said but maybe I just got a bad one. The cream was too subtle -it was more like vanilla with a hint of matcha. The entremet was the only one that didnt suck-it was delicious but again I wouldn't say anywhere in Sacramento has wowed me yet with their entremets compared to places in the bay except for the ones that ginger Elizabeth has had in the past-the flavor itself was on point, i will say the texture of the entremets have a majority layer of the jelly part-if they could perfect the variety of layers you're supposed to get in each bite I would be more impressed as thats the whole point of enjoying an entremet. Honestly I should have just gotten one pastry to try in one day as they are pricey-i paid 31 not including the tip fot my pastries, and in this economy one cannot waste that much on disappointing sweet treats lol

The biscuit sandwiches were pretty good but since the biscuits are so thick, it's a bit hard to eat as a sandwich. I basically just ate mine without the top half and then ate the top half separately after, with the delicious strawberry butter that I added to my order. If I could round up to 4.5 stars, I would, for that strawberry butter! The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because although they were good sandwiches, I wouldn't say it was anything too unique, especially at $13 for the most expensive sandwich (with andouille sausage) and $10 for the cheapest (egg and cheese). I wish I had gotten the chance to try the brown sugar biscuit because we only had plain and blueberry for ours, which seem to be more obtainable at other places. Some of my favorites: 1. Croissants- all of them lovely... can't miss! 2. Smoke Salmon Tartine- some of my favorite things balanced on top of a yummy toast (roasted carrots, creamy cream spread, daisies, and of course salmon) 3. Red bean sesame cheesecake- sounds crazy, but quite good and I'm not even a fan of red beans 4. Mceggggg- yes, five stars for the "5G" Sando!

Faria's traditional croissant in 2025 was top notch and comparable to croissants in Paris, it was THAT good. Better than even Bay Area croissants. It was fluffy, buttery and flakey. With the right amount of butter ratio. But something changed this year. Now it's flat, quite dry, w/ lowered butter ratio, and higher sugar content. Like Faria decided to cut corners? Sorry, if this is wrong. But it's now a MID croissant, when it was damn near perfect. I tried it a few times this year, just to make sure it wasn't a fluke. But obvious recipe change. What happened, FARIA?!?!?!?! When feedback was given under comments on their IG, they also blocked me. Weird. Why the defensiveness? Again this review is left w all due respect to what was a perfect croissant. No need to change a great product.

I visited Pushkin's for the first time today, and I was so very impressed. As someone who only…read morerecently had to change to a gluten free diet, it's been hard to find gluten free alternatives for some of my favorite pastries. Pushkin's has such a wide variety, and they're the first place I've ever found that has gluten free hot cross buns. I also tried the vegan po boy sandwich, and it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! Between the quality of the food and the kind service of the employees, Pushkin's is going to be a required stop for me every time that I'm in Sacramento.

GF Sacramento, y'all are so lucky to have Pushkin's. Stopped in for some treats and was blown away…read more Since being diagnosed with Celiac disease, it's been difficult. I live in a small town a couple of hours from Sac and the only "gluten free" place is In & Out Burger. And it's a 50/50 chance you'll get glutened. Felt like a kid again no joke. And not only was everything dedicated gluten free, but absolutely delicious! Cinnamon roll was fantastic. So were these small little pockets of joy, can't remember the names. Breakfast sandwich was flavorful. Usually gf baked goods are dried out hockey pucks. Everything I ordered was full of moist wonder. Excited to go back, definitely worth a special trip. Please continue to support Pushkin's bakery! Such a gem
