Amazing service very helpful and nice people, they definitely made us feel welcome. Inside is clean and interior simple yet nice. A good spot work if you like to work at coffee spots. The tiramisu cake delicious definitely I go back just for cake. As parking limited, but again you are close by Capitol

Sana'a Cafe is located on the corner of 9th St. and K St. They offer specialty coffee drinks, chai tea, Middle Eastern savory bites, and sweet pastries/treats. The interior is beautifully decorated and there is plenty of seating. Staff are friendly. I really liked my Adeni Chai and Potatoe Pie. Both were a nice change from my morning ritual of black coffee.

I visited Sana'a Café with my best friend last month on a rainy Monday afternoon, and it was absolutely worth it. Parking downtown can be a bit of a headache, but we lucked out with street parking and paid through the ParkMobile app (about $3.35 for an hour), so no complaints there. I didn't try the coffee, but honestly, the desserts completely stole the show and have been living rent-free in my head ever since. We stayed and enjoyed our treats inside the café, which has such a cozy, quaint atmosphere. There were even moments where we stopped talking just to fully savor each bite--that's how good the desserts were. Service was straightforward and friendly. It did feel a little slow at times since there was just one cashier and one barista handling everything, but it was understandable and didn't take away from the overall experience. The Turkish delight? Absolutely exquisite--good enough to consider selling out your family haha ("The Chronicles of Narnia" reference). The milk cakes were perfectly moist and spongy with just the right balance of sweetness, and the baklava somehow disappeared before I even realized it. I also ordered a dragonfruit drink that was super refreshing, but the desserts were definitely the main highlight. I've since moved out of state, so I won't be returning to this exact location, but lucky for me there's another Sana'a Cafe nearby that I'm already excited to visit!

I had the pleasure of visiting the Capital today and stoped here for a quick bite and drink. I got the Adeni Chai iced and a beef pastry, both were delicious and I wanted seconds. I had time to sit and write for a bit and the atmosphere was calm with many people enjoying a conversation or working virtually. I will make it a point to return here I loved it. They employees are kind and helpful me when picking my sweeter for the chai. Thank you!

Busy place on a warm Saturday afternoon strolling around the State Capitol. Clean place, middle eastern music, comfortable interior with tidy restrooms. We sampled the following. Pistachio iced latte, Pistachio Hot latte and a Chi iced tea with a double shot of expresso. All three were ready quickly and unique & deliciously strong. Extensive desert case with numerous Milk cake, pistachio cheese cake, velvet and honeycomb cake. Will return for the deserts.

This was my first visit, and I came with friends to try the Yemeni tea experience. Since we weren't sure what to order, we decided on the Mofawar. You can taste the roasted coffee, but it was just okay for my personal preference. I would have liked it to be a bit stronger. They also offer a variety of specialty Yemeni coffees and pastries, and I really enjoyed the honeycomb cake. If I come back, I'd probably try an individual coffee instead, like their pistachio latte.

So I'm lucky enough to have been to the Sanaa cafe in Hollywood as well as this location. Both were so good! After the sac state graduation, it was a short drive from the Golden 1 center to meet up with family for a celebratory coffee or latte. Everyone enjoyed their drinks. The location on Hollywood blew my mind I must say but this one was pretty good too. Parking was tricky, but we managed. Will be coming back when I'm in the downtown Sacramento area.

Heard about this place but haven't stepped in there til now and damn that's some good ass coffee! It's so cute and cozy inside, love the whole look to this place! Has a lot of culture and it's a beautiful setting. I got a coffee and my boyfriend got a matcha but wow that's good as hell! Definitely coming here again and stopping by. The cheesecake was delicious and the tiny bits of pistachios added a nice crunch. Parking here was lowkey full and I was lucky enough to get a spot in front but if you don't then go circle the block because it gets full fast

A friend and I checked out this place on January 7th around lunch time. We had both seen this on our Instagram reels and through the Yelp Sacramento Instagram page and decided we needed to give it a try. When you walked in the cafe was not super busy but it did have a good amount of people. People were both outside and inside the cafe. As you walked in there was some nice music playing in the background. It was not too loud just enough volume to hear it while still being able to have a conversation with the person in front of you or maybe even a table over. The counter that had all the food and snacks and pastries was definitely the showstopper because everything just looks so vibrant and delicious. When we got to the register the person behind asked us to be at any questions especially since we had told her it was our first time there. She gave us a rundown of the most popular drinks and food based on what she told us we got the following: Yemeni latte, Pistachio Latte, meat and Chicken fatayer, beef sujuk, and rose water cake We really enjoyed the food items we got specifically the fatayers. They had such amazing spices. It was nothing but flavor bomb in your mouth. The beef sujuk was also delicious and I want to make sure this is clear it was amplified more with the sauce that it came with. Without the sauce it was still very good but it helped to enhance the flavors and give it a little bit of citrus goodness that it needed. Are two lattes were phenomenal both had the essence of the ingredients come through and nothing was fighting each other. I would hands down come back to try the other lattes that they have there. Also to finish with the rose water cake was phenomenal. It was not overly sweet or overpowered by the rose water. It was simply divine. If you're in the area please come check this place out cuz again we had nothing there that was not delicious.

This Yemeni coffee shop stands out among the typical hipster, corporate, and modern elements of downtown Sac. It features a lavish interior that works well as a get-together. Not on the quiet side -- family and friends converse with each other, board games are out, and little kids will be little kids. The iced hibiscus tasted interesting with a sour taste more than sweet. I'd buy it again. The chicken fatayer, as excited as I was to try something new, tasted decent but not something I'd rave about. I enjoyed the overall ambiance over all else. Sana'a is a pleasant switch-up from what I expected out of a downtown cafe, and it epitomizes the diverse experiences that city centers have to offer.

We stopped by Sana'a Café after an event late at night, and it was a great spot to wind down. The atmosphere was lively, and the baristas were really polite and helpful, which made the experience even better. We ordered the Biscoff Latte and the Yemeni Latte, both were really good and full of flavor. We were hoping to try the Honeybomb pastry, but unfortunately it was sold out by the time we got there. Overall, a great late-night spot with a fun vibe and solid drinks. Definitely want to come back earlier next time to try more from their menu!

Amazing Yemeni coffee. I came in here thinking I could get a snack and some coffee while I do some reading for work. That was not possible because they play loud music and so many people are there to mainly chat. That doesn't deter the fact that the coffee was really good! I've also had their adeni chai and this is probably the best chai I've had as compared to other Yemeni coffee shops. The desserts are also very good and have the right amount of sweetness with your drinks. The staff were very patient when I took forever deciding what I wanted. I would definitely come back here again with some friends but probably not to study haha.

Down town Sac. The area is a lil sketchy but we found parking since it was late afternoon. I love the fact that they are open till midnight on Saturday. My husband loves pistachio so we tried their pistachio latte and various pastries. The cafe is beautiful and peaceful. The staff warm and inviting. The coffee smells amazing as they make it on their beautiful espresso machine. Our fave hands down was the honey bread. So perfectly sweet and creamy. Honorable mentions the pistachio milk cake (a tres leche in green and pistachio flavors) as well as the rose milk cake. Super moist and saucy. We are hooked and will be back for more. A gem in the Sac area.

I got the tikka combo which involves skewered lamb and chicken over rice. There's some hummus, a big piece of bread, and a salad involved. Overall, I thought everything could have been more flavorful. While I'm a sauce man, if a place doesn't beg me to ask for sauce or add more, I'm pretty impressed. Further, the lamb was kind of tough. Perhaps, some of the other items could be better. They seem to have some nice baked good options. I guess the $ is competitive, but for $20+ for an entree and soda... Service: order at the register. They are located inside a Mediterranean market. We ordered from the bakery, but, paid over in the market. I got their beef shawarma sandwich, while my coworkers went with the chicken. It took a few minutes before our sandwiches were done. The sandwich was big and a very good value for the price they charge. The problem I had was with the meat as it was very gristly. The beef was marinated well, and came with tomatoes and onions. They were okay. I can't complain much as the price was very reasonable.

There was a couple taking a little bit of extra time to order, so I was called to the counter By Gemma. She is definitely an asset to that restaurant. She was friendly, knowledgeable about the menu, personable, throughout my meal, we chatted a little bit, as she came by my table every now and then to make sure everything was OK. You order, they give you a number, and then they bring your food to the table. The menu was large, with appetizers, burgers, gyro,, salads, and desserts. I decided to start with the dip trio. I asked Gemma if it was a large serving, , and she said "not really" . *SPOILER ALERT* it was.... The Baba ganoush had a wonderful. Roasted flavor and you could definitely taste the eggplant, that tzaziki had a wonderful "Tang" to it, which kept it from being too rich, and the hummus was creamy, and delicious. Nothing overwhelmed each other. There was a bit of red pepper on top of the hummus that gave it a tiny kick. There was a generous amount of pita to go with it. I loved the olives. They had a nice briny flavor to them. I normally don't care for green olives, but these were amazing. For my main course, I ordered the chicken pita bowl. Chicken Gyro meat, arugula, lettuce, red onion, tomatoes, tzatziki, and I had a choice of regular or spicy aïoli. Again, I asked her how spicy the spicy aioli was, and she said it was a bit spicy. I decided to try the spicy aïoli, and she offered to put it on the side. That was also very nice I had a choice of Greek fries or rice, and I chose to have half-and-half. The fries were more like small wedges, and they were tender and well seasoned. The rice was just your average white rice, but it did have a very good texture The chicken was tender and flavorful, and again, everything played very well with each other. The spicy aïoli was about halfway up the scale of what I like for spicy, but it had an amazing flavor. I mixed everything together, including the spicy aïoli, and it made for the perfect bite. It came with a few more pieces of that tender pita bread. I ended up with about half of my dip trio, and half of my main course. Enough to take Home for another full meal. The price is on the higher end, but for the amount of the amazing food you get, it was definitely worth it. I will be back. Thank you.

Staff: very very friendly and helpful. I had asked about ingredients used in their entrees and they were very diligent in providing that information. In fact, they had a binder that described all the spices and ingredients used- very very helpful for those with allergy tolerances A+. So what did we order: 1) lamb and beef gyro with lavash bread. this item was huge and our dining companion enjoyed her gyro and could not finish her entree. her greek fries with deep fried potato cubes slightly seasoned. 2) Lamb burger was a very thick patty that consisted of a moist and tender texture. the seasoning was not overt and the brioche bun was good. her only concern was the actual size of the burger. although it was a thick burger the circumference of the burger was a bit small. But she also had all her burger fixins (peppers, cheese, arugula, sauce) on the side which might have made the burger smaller visually. But she did enjoy the flavor. 3) Roasted 1/2 chicken w/rice/chickpeas entree had a nice mild flavor. However, the chicken breast was a little over cooked, but the bird was actually a bit small which might have been the reason it was a little over done. However, the rice and chickpeas peas had a nice flavor which made consuming the dried pieces of chicken breast a little easier to eat. 4) baba ghanoush: this was very very good. it had a hint of lemon which made this appetizer fresher and was a the star of our dining experience. Plus their pita bread is so so soft. yum. Again- staff were very accommodating and provided a nice array of containers for our leftovers.
