Double-shot of espresso on ice with avocado toast - lived up the photos and hype that I had seen on social media. The avocado toast had a fresh citrus note to it and the avocado spread was light & fluffy. Good service, did not have to wait long. A dog friendly patio is always appreciated. Silverware was available with order of food. Did not see any additional silverware to use as you wish. Casual vibe.

I have really been on my coffee game lately, trying to find the best coffee shops in Sacramento. Concept Coffee has definitely made a great impression my past few visits, I love that they have food items available. The waffles are delicious and the lattes are good. The avocado toast is very pretty I just wish it was on a different slice of bread maybe a sourdough loaf just for the look. Overall staff have been accommodating and friendly.

I visited for the first time on a Saturday morning while we were walking around downtown. The business was packed with most of the seats inside taken, as well as people sitting outside the business. When I entered there was a line, and I was happy to have some time to look over their menu before making my selection. Since it was my first visit I opted for one of their Summer Sips menu items. I was between the Sticky Mango Latte ($7) and The Float ($7) and after talking with the friendly barista I opted for The Float. The Float is their house made root beer syrup and a shot of espresso shaken and poured over sparkling water with a vanilla cold foam on top. I was so intrigued and excited to give it a try. Let me tell you, I loved it! It really gives root beer while still being a coffee drink. It was also light and refreshing for the warm Sacramento morning. I'm glad I popped into this cute cafe and I'm excited to try more of their drinks in the future.

First time here and ordered one of their signature drinks, the Maple Bourbon Latte. It was a bit too milky for my taste, and I also couldn't really taste much of the maple bourbon flavor. The presentation, though, was simple and beautiful. I did really enjoy the Avocado Toast. They make both the bread and avocado mousse in-house, and the mousse was creamy, fresh, and had a nice citrusy flavor. The presentation was stunning, almost too pretty to eat. Parking can be a bit challenging in the area, but I was lucky enough to find a spot around the corner. I also loved the ambiance of the cafe. The space feels minimalist, open, and inviting. Staff was super nice and welcoming as well. I'd come back to try their coffee again, but next time I'd probably ask for less milk in my drink.

The coffee was really good and tasted fresh and high quality. You can tell they put care into both the drinks and presentation. I also appreciated the little details throughout the café that made the experience feel unique and enjoyable. The food and pastries were delicious as well and paired perfectly with the drinks. The staff was kind, patient, and friendly even while busy, which made the experience even better. Overall, this place has a great vibe and is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. I'll definitely be coming back.

Cute coffee spot. Street parking. Mont Blanc: refreshing iced coffee! Light and the hint of blood orange and nutmeg is lovely! My friend also enjoyed her iced latte. Loved the breakfast sandwich and parfait. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Great service! Will definitely be back!

Im currently obsessed with their Milk & Honey cold brew. It's the perfect balance of cold brew and sweetness from the honey. I first came on a Sunday afternoon it was a little stuffy inside and parking wasn't convenient. I came back Monday and it was so much better, maybe suggest to come on a weekday! I cant wait to try out more of their menu.

I came here after hearing rave reviews about the location. I had the Mont Blanc and my friends had the bourbon latte and Ube latte. My drink was so refreshing and zesty, but honestly I tried the bourbon latte and it was more up my alley. I like a citrusy taste but in my coffees I like more robust creamy flavors. The location was situated in an area with lots of parking options and I appreciate that. The service was quick and informative about their coffee types. I would come again to make my 4 star a 5!

New coffee shop that opened recently. I am a person who likes to wait for the hype of a new coffee shop to fizzle out a bit before visiting. I came in on a Sunday morning around 9 am. It was moderately busy and there was still plenty of seating. They also have an outdoor patio with plenty of tables and umbrellas for shade. My order was the maple bourbon latte with oat milk and the breakfast sammich. Overheard the employee telling the customer ahead of me that the maple bourbon latte tasted better hot and that validated my choice. Love the interior decor and I give props to the interior designing. It is simple but clean and modern. Reminds me of coffee shops in SoCal or Bay area. The maple bourbon latte was delicious. It is also topped with a dried orange slice and sprinkled with a bit of sea salt. Wasn't expecting the sea salt but it was a nice addition. As the coffee sits, overtime, you'll start to taste the orange. It reminds me of an old fashioned latte. I'll have to get mine half sweet next time. It wasn't overly sweet to the average person but, I like my coffee less sweet than "average". The breakfast sandwich comes with eggs, bacon, fontina cheese and garlic aioli. Wow this sandwich was huge! Didn't look like it but it was quite filling! I liked it but felt like the sandwich was a tiny bit heavy (greasy). I would get it again though because it was a nice treat yourself breakfast. I want to try their other offerings next time. Plant based milk has a $1 up charge which is steep. Given the area and surrounding coffee shops that either have oat milk as a standard or a couple cents, the $1 is still steep. Service was excellent and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Staff informs you that they call out your name for drinks but will walk out the food for you. There's no special bin for you to place your dirty cups or dishes but I've seen staff do clean up after you leave. Overall, great new addition to the Sacramento coffee scene.

All around 5 stars for the drink, presentation and service. I tried the Bourbon Maple Latte. The drink was perfect. I typically just go for straight lattes when I get coffee since I don't like the syrupy, overly sweet things places serve sometimes; this drink was nothing like that. It had a balance of sweetness and saltiness. Honestly one of the best lattes I've had in a while. There's some table seating inside and outside. Can't wait to come back and try more off their menu!

Loved their breakfast Sammich and espresso tini! The Chai was okay and the waffle looked better than it tasted. Slightly undercooked. Fast service since we were the only ones. Came during weekday morning. Super chill and quiet. Downtown parking will always a battle. Would definitely come back for the breakfast sandwich.

Since I work 100% from home (such a blessing), it feels like a mini-adventure whenever I make the 15-20 minute drive into the downtown area. Therefore, I was excited when a friend of mine suggested that we meet at Concept Coffee to catch up. Upon arriving I observed that we just missed a rush, so the friendly employee working the register was patiently waiting for us to place our orders. It didn't take me long to spot my drink of choice...Bourbon Maple Latte! Less than five minutes later our drinks were ready. Since it was a nice sunny day (this was following multiple consecutive cloudy days), we decided to walk & sip. I found my drink to be delicious and if it wasn't a work day, I would have spiked it with a splash of bourbon. If you're in the area, I recommend checking out Concept Coffee.

Banana bread, cappuccino, and iced ube latte

Phenomenal. Interior - I already bought the Kinto glassware they use. Great attention to details on the decor -- really simple place, but if you look closely, the style is immaculate. Service - kind and helpful! Staff isn't necessarily overtly nice, but I had a really good conversation that made me see more warmth! Coffee - unbelievably balanced. I usually don't love ube lattes because they're too sweet, but it was amazing. So so well balanced with a perfect coffee shot -- the same goes with their honey cinnamon latte and maple bourbon latte with a touch of orange. Everything is subtle but easily detectable with a good palette. Seriously, this is my new favorite coffee spot.. I went there twice in 2 days. Haven't tried savory food yet, but banana bread was okay. Nothing special - a bit dense and dry ish but not bad. Their chocolate chip cookie was phenomenal! They close at 4 daily!

Walking in, the line was short but the staff took a really long time servicing people. Since it's a 2hr drive from SF to Sac, you know I'm about to bulk buy. The case had a good selection but quite a few were sold out already. Everything looks really delicious but I had to control myself. Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. The macaroons are light and airy. I like mine with a bit of a bite, but that's just me. The flavor is nice, but on the sweeter side. As for the soft serve, it is also on the sweeter side. It comes with a macaroon wafer. They moved away from the mini macaroons. I am not a big fan for the macaroon wafer, mainly because it gets stuck to my teeth. Otherwise, it is soft serve. But I was told that they make the soft serve from scratch, not the premade mixture. This is just not my cup of tea.

The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. While some items looked a little fresher than others, there was still plenty to choose from, and everything we picked was delicious. The bakery itself was very clean with plenty of comfortable seating, and I noticed they even offer WiFi, making it a nice place to work, catch up with someone, or just enjoy a coffee. It was fairly busy and a little noisy, but there were still plenty of open seats. Parking was also easy thanks to the large parking lot. The only downside was the service. I called the store afterward to ask what their standard procedure for toasting items is. The employee I spoke with told me that it "just depends on the worker and how they toast it." The breakfast wrap had the perfect balance of scrambled eggs, bacon, seasoned potatoes, avocado, and cheddar cheese. Everything worked together without any one ingredient overpowering the others, and the salsa on the side was a great addition. Honestly, it's one of the best breakfast burritos/wraps I've had. And the croissant... wow. It was absolutely delicious. The eggs were perfectly cooked, the croissant was light, flaky, and buttery, and every bite was packed with flavor. The Nutella crepe was also very good. The crepe itself was perfectly made, though there was a little more Nutella than I personally prefer. Next time I'll probably ask for less, but that's purely a matter of taste. The avocado toast was the only item that didn't quite hit the mark for me. The also had a whole display case of pastries! Overall, staff were super friendly and the service was quick. They even offered to write on the cake, free of charge! We'll be back again soon!

Ordered a cake for my little sister's 50th birthday. The process was super easy online. Went to…read morepick it up and it was ready to go! I would say the only thing I would like added is a confirmation the day before pickup letting me know the order was ready. But other than that the whole process was very smooth . The bakery itself is very cute and full of delicious looking treats. The staff was friendly as well. I ordered a carrot cake and it was so amazing! My sister loved it! It was very moist, spiced just right and had a lot of the cream cheese frosting that everyone loves! But it also wasn't extremely sweet which I appreciated. QUITE A FEW people at the party stated that they were not normally fans of carrot cake because of the big chunks of nuts and raisins in it...but RAVED about how they loved this carrot cake (it didn't have those things)! They were sad to find out that the bakery is in Sacramento (the party was in the East Bay). I would definitely order from them again and I highly recommend. Thank you Freeport Bakery!
