Food: I had a chocolate/cream cheese muffin that was moist and tasty. I also ordered a latte mocha breve. Also very good and not too sweet. Prices are a tad high but the quality is good. Service was fast and efficient and friendly. Ambiance was decent too. There is plenty of seating. Parking can be a challenge. It's a small lot so you might need to find a side street and walk a little like I did. It was a beautiful day so I didn't mind the walk.
Met up with Woody and friends for lattes. Service is not fast, but the lattes are exquisite. Not a lot of decor, but plenty of seating, including another larger room from the ordering space. If you appreciate a well-made espresso, this is a step above Temple.
The inside of this Pachamama is so bright and beautiful, wish they had more seating! It's located near other shops including a donut shop where my friends and I went after getting our drinks, so very convenient for an early morning run! Our drinks were delicious and made quick. The parking lot is small and a bit awkward but the times I've been here I found street parking easy.
I came in with extremely high expectations from my previous visit, and they were exceeded. Ran into Walina or Woxanne at the counter again and she made the drinks perfectly, there was a small line but she got through it quickly even at the end of shift. 10/10 because it only goes up to 10.
Cute coffee shop in East Sacramento! It's a great space; whether you're stopping in solo, meeting a group, or looking for a spot to get some work done. The cold brew is excellent and they offer a nice selection of pastries, including vegan options. The only quirk is that the pastries aren't usually on display or listed on a menu. You have to ask the staff what's available, which is a bit strange. First time for a coffee shop for me. Their private lot is quite small, so you'll likely need to find street parking. Just be sure to check the signs for local restrictions!
My friend and I needed a quick caffeine fix Saturday morning before my daughter's Jiu Jitsu class and decided on Pachamama Coffee. I had never been to this location - only the one in Davis and really enjoyed the coffee I had there. The inside is a roughly the same size as the Davis location, but parking is kind of a pain. The parking lot is really small so street parking if you can find it is your best bet. We ordered The Honeybear and an Iced Vanilla Latte - my daughter also wanted one of their Strawberry Almond Scones which she said was dry. It was a little dry because most scones are, but the flavor was pretty good. My friend and I both enjoyed our coffees and it was the perfect pick me up that we needed. The inside was modern and minimal and the staff were friendly. The coffee came out very quickly - we were both actually shocked. I'm sure I'll be back again soon as the coffee was pretty good. I'm also looking forward to their Fall menu! Check them out!

I also tried a strawberry almond scone, which was just okay. They also had a really nice list of fall drinks. The shop has a lovely seating area with plenty of tables, perfect for working, studying, or catching up with a friend or coworker. Parking can be a bit tricky; there's a small lot with about five or six spots, but I recommend parking on J Street, where you'll find two-hour free parking. Note that there's no parking allowed on the residential streets nearby. The staff at Pachamama were welcoming, and friendly. Overall, a cozy spot with great coffee! Can't wait to visit again soon and highly recommend to other coffee lovers!
I came here on a Saturday morning with a girlfriend to try a new (to us!) coffee spot. We both got iced oat milk lattes. The lattes were so creamy, my friend got four shots in hers, and there was no bitterness from the coffee. Also, they care about the planet. They did not use plastic cups! We'll definitely come back!

When she asked me if I wanted 2 shots or 4 in my offer I knew it was going to be good. Like change you life good! We ordered the vanilla bean latte iced and the seasonal sea salt late. So smooth, bold, and perfectly delicious. Neither of them were to sweet. We enjoyed the coffee so much we bought some beans to take home with us!! Such a cool place!
This has been my go to spot for a variety of whole coffee beans, for about a year and a half now. But for some time now, I've been getting a significant amount of coffee grounds in my drinks; to the point that I expect it now. I don't know if it's a cleaning issue, or an overfill of the portafilter cup. But the issue has started getting annoying and shouldn't be an issue. Unfortunately I'm more inclined now to just toss the remainder of my drink, vs drinking a gritty Espresso drink. This isn't something I've come across at the other Pachamama locations, but I also rarely frequent those area locations. Overall: Might it be time to find a new regular coffee spot for beans and drinks? It might be. The appeal of Pachamama for us was the assortment of good whole coffee beans, plus the free drink with the refill of our coffee container. Which typically goes along with ordering a 2nd drink as well, but if I'm going to now just be tossing a good portion of $7+ coffee. Because there's coffee grinds in it, it might be time to forgo the free drink appeal, and look at one of the many other local coffee shop & roasters for whole beans & drinks.

We came here last weekend and enjoyed our order. The matcha latte and regular lattes that we got were delicious, creamy and quality-tasting. The service was ok, we had asked if they had any specials and the other lady pointed to the floor menu and said they were there, no engagement no enticement of specials, etc. The other girl was friendlier and made a nice design on the matcha. Overall, it's a cute little coffee place just a lil on the pricier side.
Pachamama is hands down my favorite coffee shop in Sacramento so far! Everytime I come here, I feel at peace and it's nice seeing familiar baristas! It makes it feel very welcoming. Parking can be more difficult but there's plenty of seating inside (yes outlets and yes wifi). I like that there are big windows too so you can get some natural light in. I've tried a couple of their drinks but usually end up ordering honeybear latte. Drinks usually range from $6-7 depending on adjustments. I love latte art so here's a picture we can all admire haha

First stop on my first morning back in Sacramento: coffee with a friend before hitting the road for a two-hour drive. Judging by the line at 7 am, we clearly weren't the only ones with that idea. It moved a little slower than expected, but no one seemed to mind. Everyone was relaxed, upbeat, and happily waiting for what was on the other side of the counter. And honestly? It was worth every minute. I'm a simple drip coffee kind of gal, and this was one of those cups that reminds you how good coffee can be when it's done well. No frills, just really exceptional coffee. The café itself feels bright, open, and welcoming. I loved the calming color palette, the beautiful mural celebrating the coffee-growing journey, and the cheerful little touches throughout the space, even the sign that read, "I followed my heart and it led me to Pachamama." It made me smile. I completely understand why this place has such a loyal following. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Sacramento. Some places are worth making a small detour for, and Pachamama is one of them. read more

Stopped in while visiting for what we thought would be an average cup of caffeine but, you know when you go somewhere and wish that they had it back in your home state/town? This was one of those. Not overcrowded, wait time was quick, the aesthetic was a nice casual with lots of natural light and there was a separated area to the side if you wanted to sit, relax and enjoy your drink. They have a seasonal/special menu that had three drinks that we tried (not 100% sure the name): - Ube coconut cold brew - Blueberry Matcha latte - Honey bear cold brew And all were AMAZING. Ube coconut was refreshing, definitely tasted the ube and the coconut wasn't overpowering. The blueberry matcha had that usual matcha flavor with a hint of blueberry, it had a subtle sweet taste like a dessert, surprisingly balanced. The honey bear cold brew tasted sort of like if you had a horchatta but at 25% sweetness Overall, surprised at how good these were and wish they had it in other states. read more
First time visiting this coffee shop. I got an Ube and coconut iced coffee and it was very tasty. The interior is really cool and nice and big. I can imagine it would be a great place to either post up and study or to have a casual coffee meeting. Folks at the counter were very helpful as well. I would return to this business. read more

Stopped in for a vanilla latte and ended up hanging out longer than planned. The vibe is super chill and clean--great spot to meet a friend. Coffee was excellent, smooth and not too sweet. The little cream heart on top is always a nice touch. I really like that they're farmer-owned and focused on sustainability--it makes the coffee feel even better. Tons of seating too, which is hard to find lately. Definitely coming back ~ highly recommend! read more
We have been to pachamama many many times, the J street location is a bit more laid back than the midtown location, with more room for parking and a separate area with tables and chairs. This is a great spot to get some work done or study. The coffee is next level, the fact that they are a co-op and have amazing relationships with their farmers really helps. The coffee beans are such good quality, we always love picking up a few different bags to try. The OG honeybear is probably their best drink, we love trying their seasonal stuff too. read more

One of the best Cold Brews and coffee roasters in Sac. The quality is always consistent and they definitely have their cold brew down!!! If you want a little sweetness, their seasonal drinks are amazing and not over sweet. read more
They have limited parking in their parking lot, but plenty of street parking. They also have a lot of spaces to sit down and work. I ordered the Cardamom Rose Latte and it was okay to me. I didn't really taste the cardamom or rose as much. They do have a restroom that requires a code. It is the ONLY US based location(s) that is 100% owned by farmers in Perú, Nicaragua, Guatemala, México & Ethiopia this ensuring a highly profitable operation & high quality beans. Featuring espresso-based coffees; like lattes and drips. Seasonal specials are a standout here such as the unique brûlée latte which my daughter and I opted for. They had a gingerbread one that was on their monthly menu that I had considered, but also an everyday flavor called Honey-bear which we both decided on. Our lattes were delicious. A little pricey ( IMO) for the size, but a great experience. Check out their additional drinks they offer; such as their organic teas, cold brews, espressos, & cappuccinos. There's vegan and gluten free options for beverages and food too! Also, you can purchase/ fill canisters with ground or whole beans in store. I was visiting Sacramento for work and decided to try Pachamama based on a Yelp! search. It was a bit of a drive from where I was staying and when I arrived the small parking lot was full. Not knowing the area, I noticed the streets surrounding required a permit to park, so I ended up having to park about half a mile away. Not a big issue, but on a chilly day in high heels it wasn't ideal. The inside is a bit plain and the menu minimalistic. I asked the barista about their chai, which he said was on the milder side. I like a spicy chai, so I opted for the Honey Bear latte with almond milk. My coffee was up within a matter of a few minutes and I was on my way. If desired, there is a space to the left of the main area with tables to work remotely. My drink was good, nothing too fancy but it did the job. read more

Always good lattes here, the winter drinks are always my favorite because I love the dulce de leche one. But today I tried the gingerbread one and it was super good too. Service is always great, and there is plenty of comfortable seating here too. read more
I have no regrets spontaneously stopping by this coffee stop. I ordered a mocha latte. It was SO smooth and the sweetness was not overpowering. It was such a perfectly balanced cup of coffee. I don't know what beans were used as they had multiple bag, but it was delicous. Inside they have a lot of space of studying and catching up. Barista was very helpful and attentive. read more

A Sacramento institution and I don't think of it nearly as often as I should. While I'm all for minimalism and industrial accents, the wood and small greenery sprinkled about give this place an extra homey feel. Their menu is not as expansive as most but they do everything extremely well. Their staff are polite and produce beautiful latte art. My matcha latte had great, deep flavor and the right amount of sweetness for my liking. read more

No it is very busy and limited space. In fact, this is a really small coffee shop. You can find other ones that have a corner nook or bigger space so it's not crowded. Good luck!
