My sister told me I had to come here and try their matcha, so of course I had to see what the hype was about, and honestly it did not disappoint!! This might be my new go to spot whenever I'm craving matcha. I got the matcha latte with oat milk and simple syrup, and it was so good and had just the right amount of sweetness. I also love the ice they use because it's the small, crunchy kind that's easy to chew and somehow makes the drink even more enjoyable. When you walk in, you place your order yourself on one of their standing touchscreens, which makes everything quick and convenient. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you're a matcha lover, I'll for sure be coming back!
Not sure who the guy is who took my order. I come here at least 3 times a week in the morning before work and always ask for the same thing. A 1987 with light ice he explained he can't fill it all the way to the top with light ice like this is Dutch Bros or something, this has never been a problem. I said "never mind just do regular ice" so instead of listening, he decided to be rude and gave me regular ice and still filled my cup up half way smfh yeaaaa if he's working I'll politely turn right back around and leave.
Talk about a pleasant surprise! 18 Grams totally blew me away. Judging by the outside, you'd think it's just a sleek, modern spot to grab a quick drink. But surprise! They are secretly hiding a gourmet kitchen in there. I only came for coffee, but the food envy was real the second I saw the dishes on the other tables. I ended up ordering the steak and eggs with an iced herbal tea. And what can I say? SO. GOOD. The steak was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the culinary mashup of kimchi and chimichurri was immaculate. I loved it so much I literally couldn't leave without buying a second order to-go for my mom. Yes, THAT good. This is a must-visit if you're in Sacramento. I'm already plotting my return to try their popular Vietnamese coffee.
Been here on several occasions and it never disappoints! The coffee is good, fresh and the service is top tier, there's a modern feel to the ambiance. We enjoy going before going into a movie.
Great coffee and brunch spot to study or meet up with friends. I'm usually not a huge fan of ube but their ube toast was really good. The toast was soft and warm and paired well with the ube. Their loco moco is a good choice if you want a more savory option. It was flavorful and had a spicy kick to it. Service is pretty quick. You can order at the kiosk or someone at the counter can do it for you.
Good coffee and pastries! Overall 4.5 stars with lots of seating and parking. For coffee, I ordered the 1987 which was good. What I enjoyed the most was the chicken empanada.
The avocado toast was really good and crispy. And I love how you guys put the arugula & the sunny side egg and feta on the avocado toast. What a great spin on avocado toast. The Ube French toast was so delicious. Unlike any French toast we've ever had. It was so sweet and I'm a really big fan of Ube. Despite the lines the service was fast. Reasonably really priced for hot and fresh food and drinks. Ambiance was amazing I could spend a few hours for sure. Thanks for the wonderful experience! We'll be back.
Finally got around to trying this well-known coffee spot and was pretty impressed with the menu. I ordered the 1987 and really liked the sweet + salty combo. I also couldn't resist the "gluten-free churro mochi" when I saw it on display. I was expecting something chewy with a cinnamon churro flavor and a bit of crunch, but it was kind of a letdown in both taste and texture. Probably wouldn't get the mochi again, but I'd definitely come back to try more drinks.
Grateful for my Ohana in Sacramento. They know my love for food but more so small hole in the wall spots. 18 Grams Coffee Roasters no secret to the locals. We were lucky one person left after we ordered cause no place to sit. Main reason came my cousin telling me need to get Hong Kong French Toast. Different and never had before. The biggest difference is French Toast deep fried. So crispy outside but moist and has characteristic of typical French Toast. The thing made it all come together for me. The sauce combine with Ube butter. Honest thought was ice cream. lol. The fresh fruit perfect balance. The portion size if insane. Carb overload. I also got couple cookies. Have display of fresh baked goods. Variety little of everything. Cookies were da bomb. I had matcha drink that was tasty. The drink menu has nice diversity. Just wish had one in Vegas. I be back next visit see Sac Ohana.
the food was so flavorful! i love love filipino food. all the meat was super flavorful and delicious. the staff are so friendly and the food comes out very quick. the place is very lively and a good spot to do work or study! they offer free wifi which is nice
I was craving an early breakfast prior to heading to an office meeting and saw this establishment was open at 7AM. Strange thing is I've lived in the area for over 5 years and never swung by here until after moving out of the city. I regret not visiting sooner. Doh! Upon arrival I was told they didn't serve breakfast until 8AM. Having a lot of time to kill, I ordered a mocha. They brewed the drink quickly and it was very delicious. Plenty of seating and welcoming decor. As 8AM approached, I ordered their loco moco. I'll admit, it was an interesting take on the loco moco, combining kimchi to add a little spice to it. I personally felt the gravy was a tad bit sweet, not to my liking. But overall the experience and service itself justified a 5 star rating. I really enjoyed their coffee and will be returning back from now on when I make quarterly trips to the office. I'll also give the other menu items a shot as well!
I love this place. Ive been twice now and both times have been great. The coffee is great and the flavor combos are amazing. The 1987 is my favorite so far as it's still coffee forward with a sweet hazelnut flavor. Also, if you're an ice lover, they have the best nugget ice!
When I'm in the Arden area I love stopping here for a quick coffee. There's plenty of parking in the shopping plaza and a lot of stores and other restaurants to spend time at- even a movie theater. The cafe itself is open, bright, and welcoming. I love the mural on the wall and the different seating options allow for all types of groups and experiences- from a quick coffee, to a study session, date, or group outing. The staff is always friendly and I love the variety of drinks and food. Speaking of food, it's delicious! I tend to order their savory menu items and they're always served hot and freshly made. I try to order different drinks to explore the menu, but I always come back to the 1987. It has the perfect sweetness and is a great pick me up for the day. During the warmer months they have outdoor seating and you'll want to check out their social media for specials. They have two sister locations- one in Elk Grove by the same name, and Forever 18 Grams in Midtown. All of them are great options.

We wanted breakfast for our group and Filipino breakfast was what everyone was craving. We came on a Sunday late morning and it was busy. It's been a long time since we last been to 18 grams. It wasn't that busy then so it was nice to see them doing well. The staff were cool, definitely working hard to keep up with the business. There was a lot of seating both inside and out. We ordered on the kiosk but you can also order from the cashier. We didn't realize how much food items they now offered. There's different Filipino/Hawaiian dishes like a katsu, loco moco, and longanisa. They had baked goodies like ube muffins and pandan cookies. For drinks they were plenty of coffees, lattes, and teas. It was pretty busy so it took a while for our food to come out. It wasn't the best we had, but all the food was enough to satisfy our cravings. It was definitely a modern take on things that was enjoyable. read more

Day Visited: Saturday @ 1 PM Price Range: $$ Parking: Free parking lot Ordered: Iced Mocha with vanilla cold foam and Iced Americano with vanilla cold foam Overall, solid 8.5/10. Any time we visit Sac, it is one of our go-to spots! They do an excellent job of sourcing their coffee beans along with roasting them. They've gotten exceptionally good at standardizing their drinks across the board as well. We have also tried many of their drinks outside of what we ordered today, including the 1987, 18 to the Brain, Thai Coffee, and Mexican Mocha. They have a food menu as well, which ranges from rice bowls to breakfast sandwiches. It's a great place to go to meet with friends, studying, or working on a project. They also have a good amount of seating inside, but it does fill up quickly! They do have WiFi (and outlets) and one single bathroom. Given we have been coming here for years, it is a must whenever you're in the Arden area! read more
First time here last weekend and it did not disappoint. Restaurant and decor were so aesthetically pleasing. Parking was quite easy as it's in a big plaza. High ceiling with low and high seatings with tables and outside seatings as well. You can order to go and come to pick up. We saw lots of ppl do that. Or for there, you can order on the kiosk or with the counter cashier. Food and coffee orders were amazing. Such great flavors and large portions. We would come back again if we were in the area. Pricing is not cheap but we think it's worth it. Loco moco with Kim chi?!?! Never had this combo before and will need to have it again. Longanesa egg sandwich, I want to have that every day. The flavor combo was soo good that it's been a week since I had it, I want it again. Recommend for sure! read more

Very cool looking place! A good sized dining area with multiple tables for parties of 2-4 people. You order at a kiosk and the order comes out pretty quick. Their house special coffees are good but the food is what really stands out. I ordered the chilaquiles with chorizo and the wife got the hongkong style french toast with ube cream cheese. Both were really good! But having them together makes it an excellent breakfast, with one being sweet and the other one savory. read more
My first new restaurant of 2026 and this place didn't disappoint! the vibes and decoration within the place were great, definitely reminiscent of the Bay Area (despite being in Sacramento). We stopped by here for brunch on a Sunday with some friends and was able to find a table with minimal issue. I love that you can either order at the coffee bar for quick service and/or to go orders or just sit and order from a QR code and have the food delivered directly to you. The service was fairly fast, despite it being Sunday brunch time and the food was great. I ordered the steak and fried rice, which was maybe slightly a little too marinated, but clearly flavorful! I even had a little meat left over to take to go. As for the drink, I got the Vietnamese hazelnut, upon the recommendation of my friend. And the drink didn't disappoint! Overall, a great spot! I would definitely come here again and it feels like a great spot to work on your computer for a couple hours and great a nice lunch or coffee. read more

great drinks, food & ambiance! inviting and busy sit down or to go cafe. -matcha latte : good! would get less sweet next time. you can taste the matcha which is always must. would get again -white mocha w/extra shot: def strong!! hubby enjoyed it! got the BLT & loco loco. both were good! bread on the blt was verrry crispy and a bit hard to eat lol. would return if in the area! lots of parking in the lot but can get busy since it shared with many other stores read more
This was my first time coming here for coffee and I was definitely impressed just with my first few steps through the door. It felt super spacious inside while also being very clean and organized. There was a lot of table space and seating that I noticed as well while walking in and people were definitely making use of it. I ordered an Ube Latte; there were a lot of drinks that I was interested in, so I'll definitely be back to try them out! My drink was good; it didn't feel excessively strong and helped me get through my work for the day. It did settle quite a bit on my drive home, so I was getting a bit more of this powdery texture at the bottom even after mixing. I do think it was on me for not drinking it right away, so I'll still give it another shot. I do want to do some work here just because there's a lot of natural lighting and it seems like a good environment to really focus on work. On Mondays, the place does close at 2pm, but on other days it closes at 5pm. Staff is very friendly and there's a vast amount of parking outside. If you get hungry during your time there, you can order from their food menu or just venture outside to the surrounding plaza. It's situated right in between Kura and Bonchon which are two great spots in my opinion! read more

Ordered the 1987. I thought it was pretty average compared to other coffees I've had and noticed it was a premade latte that they keep in the fridge. Other than that, I thought the mixture of hazelnut with salted cream and chocolate was a great flavor mix. read more
Years later and this place is still my favorite. I've never had anything bad here. And despite being super busy at all hours, the workers are always very friendly and helpful. They have really stepped it up with their food as well. Their pastries and cookies have always been amazing and their breakfast items are just as good. My favorite is the breakfast sando and the Hong Kong French toast. It's a great place to stop by either before or after you do some shopping in the area. I have so much love for 18 Grams and will definitely continue to support them. read more
Tried here on a monday morning to have some good breakfast and didn't disappoint. I like the place, very nice and cozy feeling, lots of space and very quiet. Love all their breakfast because i can taste the scallions on it which i really like. Their mocha is to die for! One of my favorite mocha coffee i've tried in Sac. The cappuccino comes in a very small cup and kinda expensive for a small portion of coffee. The iced coffee has lots of ice and i drank only maybe 4-5 sips of it so hoping they improve this one. They almost got our orders interchange but overall its good will come back again and try their full brekafast menu. read more

Almost as delicious, but the flavors are still on point. I do notice that the meat was not as fresh and more dense whereas the first time, the meat easily fell apart. I still enjoyed every bite. I would get it again! :) read more
I came here to try after seeing good reviews. I was only interested in their vietnamese coffee and it wasn't what I was expecting. There is a hint of burnt after taste and weird sweetness. Its not as strong and a little too sweet for my liking. The store is cute, chill and pretty inviting. Its clean and has Wi-Fi, makes it easy to study or work. read more

I really enjoyed stopping here in my way back from a day in Sac! The graham latte gave me a good caffeine boost though not as sweet as I typically like for this sort of drink -since it wasn't so sweet it paired great with the Gochujang Caramel Cookie! It was absolutely to die for. I would go back just for the cookie! It's buttery, sweet, nutty, and perfect! If you like moist and soft and a little doughy, definitely try. The place is so quaint and trendy with a good vibe. I liked that they gave out cards for their guests with cultural significance as a gift. My only wish would be they add pillows to their seats as they are hard and uncomfortable if staying a while. read more
It's a cute cafe with interesting drinks and food choices. Nice spots to sit down and you can order at the counter or on a screen. I got the ube latte and I was excited about it but it was just too milky for my liking. Maybe I should have known since it was made with condensed milk but wasn't able to finish it. Super happy with the coffee here. I got a less sweet / half caff Vietnamese iced coffee (and added some cold foam) and it was perfect! Not too sweet, a solid, not too nutty coffee flavor. My friend's ube latte was also well flavored and a perfect mixture of the bitter and sweet. She said she tasted a bit of saltiness, which I didn't get too much of - but worth noting. They had pandan coconut cookies, ube cookies, and chocolate chip cookies. They also had different ube & other flavored muffins (even a gochujang & sesame one!) and I tried the mochi churro one. It was gluten free and perfectly chewy because of the rice flour and a perfect amount of sweetness! I highly recommend this place. A pretty moderate amount of seating in a cute shopping mall area. Clean vibe inside. Employees weren't super friendly but weren't rude at all either. :) read more
Came here for the first time in June and food was so good I couldn't wait to visit sac again to stop here. Came back in August and something was off. The breakfast Sando was good as usual, but the breakfast potatoes were totally different. Before they had some sort of yummy coating - maybe Parmesan and they were fried to perfection. This time they were just regular potatoes, absolutely nothing special. I had a Mexican mocha and my daughter had the matcha and both were just ok. Maybe it was an off day for them. We also got the skillet and it was good. I asked one of the girls if they changed some things and she said "she didn't know"....nice. Well I hope it was an off day and they get back to their normally prepared food because the first time was super good. We shall see... read more

I love this coffee shop! Beautifully decorated with trendy designs. Super clean with a decent amount of seating given the smaller space. Lots of parking and shopping nearby, making this the perfect location for a quick and convenient stop or for a sit down meal with lots of food options. The staff were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. I got the Iced Strawberry Matcha with Oatmilk. Super delicious and fresh! Will definitely come back to try everything else this little gem has to offer. read more

decided to give this place a try due to the great reviews already on yelp and definitely did not disappoint! strawberry matcha with sea salt foam was amazing! strawberry was delicious. the color of the matcha is phenomenal, if you know- you know! interior was kept very clean. lots of seating to choose from and my friend and i adored the seating arrangements. we serviced through the kiosk due to our introverted nature but if you're a chatter box you can also go up to the register! seems like a filipino fusion due to the ube drinks + longonisa dishes. i unfortunately wasn't able to try their food but now it gives me more of a reason to come back! will definitely be back soon. read more
18g is the primary dosage in a double shot of espresso for all my fellow coffee nerds! I got excited just walking in here..local roasting, artisanal baristas, pastries and baked goods made in the back! Cmon now... it was the end of the day, still service with a smile and the cold brew was tasty! (The crushed ice thou! 10/10) - I only got that cold brew- but the pandan cookie was calling my name! I need to go back! Also, would love to try some more drinks for this classy place. Nice space and location. read more
Tried out a new coffee spot here at 18 Grams. Ordered a simple Cold Brew. It was pretty smooth and tasted a little more earthy than other coffee shops. I would have preferred a little less ice with this type of ice, but overall the drink was nice and refreshing. I visited a little after opening and it wasn't as busy as I expected. There's a good amount of seating, ranging from standard height, high chairs/tables, and cushioned chairs in the middle of the shop. The table I chose was a little dirty with crumbs and wrappers from previous customers I assume but it wasn't an issue as it was easily cleaned up and thrown away before I actually sat down. I'd definitely come back here if I'm ever in the Arden Area. read more

They have an awesome Brunch Thursday-Sunday. I highly recommend you all try it out. All their dishes are yummy!

Yes! They are not always on display but I did buy a bag before.
