Delicious, fresh, and affordable so tip if you can! Friendly family owned business. Support local!

I tried this place for lunch as I was craving for a bahn mi sandwich. I ordered two pastries, a pork bahn mi sandwich, fish sauce wings and the netted spring rolls. I've had a lot of Vietnamese dishes and unfortunately this did not hit the spot for me. The dishes are very affordable but it's also because the serving sizes are just the perfect size for the cost. It was noon-lunchtime when I came so there was a bit of a wait (about 15 mins). The cafe had a few small tables-I had to do take out. I noticed they also do drinks-I didn't order any this time around.

Ambient music greets guests into a cute cafe with a modern Asian to Vietnamese setting. From the lantern lights to bamboo and Vietnamese coffees, this relaxing vibe invites everyone to stay and enjoy a cup. Since we came later, we tried a pineapple grass jelly with basil seeds drink and coconut water with palm seeds. These were light and refreshing with copious toppings. Nice for a midday pick up. I took a strawberry croissant out, which had what tasted like strawberry cream cheese on top. It was alright but I would love to try a plain or almond croissant next time. I also tried a Vietnamese yogurt with matcha cream topping to wake up a bit in an afternoon slump. I always enjoy Viet yogurt and was surprised about the toppings option. Tasty! Overall this is a great cafe for drinks and snacks!

I was so excited to try this place when I saw it on insta and it lived up to the hype! My friend and I came on a rainy Saturday. They had a special, buy 3 get one free so my friend and I each ordered 2 pastries, and a Vietnamese coffee. I got the Oreo cream croissant ($2.75) and strawberry matcha ($2.75). They were so cute and insta worthy. The dough was flaky and the topping had the right amount of sweetness. My friend got pigs in a blanket and pain au chocolate that he completely devoured them. I love that the prices for the pastries are super reasonable. They also had almond cookies for us to sample, and those were crunchy and good. I'll definitely buy these next time. This spot is a small mom and pop place, and the service was sooo nice and friendly. While there is limited seating, we were able to grab a bench. This might be my new favorite bakery. There was plenty of parking in this plaza.

Shop is clean and well kept and the service is as friendly upon entering. Ordered the special coffee and 2 croissants. The cream on the croissants was a little sweet but if we switched to black coffee it would've been perfect. It was also a little crispy which balanced well with the cream. Can't wait to try other things from here.

Stopped in on Saturday for their grand opening to try their BOGO but turns out they listed Saturday March 27th but meant Friday, March 27th so they weren't honoring it, even though the sign was still out and I told them the flyer indicating Saturday. She asked to see the flyer but they still didn't honor it. Lol so that was a bummer on customer service. A staff was helpful with suggestions on drinks. The kiosk only listed an egg coffee with caramel, but I wanted the classic so she rung it up on her end so know there are more drink options that might not be listed on the kiosk. It's definitely a new spot still figuring it out, but the staff seemed friendly. I didn't enjoy my drink. I was expecting strong Viet coffee but it was light in coffee and quite sweet for my preference. I hope they do well but based on my first experience I was quite disappointed esp for the price, the drink should match. Plenty of parking, spacious shop that offers indoor and outdoor seating.

Came in here after a pedicure two doors down. I was looking for a banh mi and this was close so it made perfect sense. I did get the chicken banh mi which came out to be $4 very inexpensive so for what it's worth, it was worth it. Will I go there for a banh mi again? No. Although I will DEFINITELY come back around for their pastries. I got my daughter an Oreo croissant which I almost couldn't put down! lol she was not happy but I had to taste for the review. I'm not much of an Oreo gal but oh man were these things good. I also got a bacon and cheese pastry for my friend I was meeting and she loved it! The prices are very fair which I appreciate because it allows me to not be afraid to try new things. I went in and it was not busy at all. The staff was a younger girl who knew the menu well and it is nicely decorated inside and was very clean.

Great asian bakery/cafe spot! Lots of good snacks and desserts to choose from. We went on Father's Day. They gave oit free milk teas for Dads which was very cool. Their yogurts, fried food snacks, tiramisus, and drinks are all very good. Service is improving (been here twice now). I'm really happy this asian dessert spot is in Natomas. I am so tired of driving all the way to South Sac for asian desserts. Let's support this small business! They need to stay!

Visit #2: I ordered #L3 Egg Banh Mi HaNoi, my husband ordered the egg, bacon & cheese croissant (see photos). 5 stars for both items, and Vietnamese espresso drinks. Egg sandwich was served with traditional veggie medley & touch of sauce. The freshly baked croissant was delicious. Couldn't pas up a strawberry smoothie. Service and ambiance made the experience pleasant. If you haven't stopped in, give this local North Natomas cafe a try.

Service is great here. Everyone seems vested in service. They gave recommendations that turned out to be winners. Did you just switch macha vendors. Don't know the difference. But this one was really good. The egg foam coffee is also a winner, though. With the ice a bit small, that is low liquid volume but tasty and smooth and sweet. The dough used to make the pastries is also flaky, sweet, buttery and very good. It's nice that they have tables outside and nice tables inside. Only opportunity I see is that they could make behind the counter, look a little bit better. And also plug in the t v. Great spot.

I got the strawberry croissant, Oreo croissant, fried chicken and garlic roll. I would definitely get the fried chicken and garlic roll again. The croissant were great but just filling on the top recommend trying!

I found this place on TikTok after someone posted about it, and to my surprise, it's right down the street from our house. I stopped by around lunchtime and it was a bit quiet, but honestly I was just excited to have an Asian bakery nearby in Natomas. The shop seems like it's still finding its footing, so the ambiance is okay for now. They have two display areas--one near the entrance with pastries and another with almond cookies. One thing I'd really recommend is adding labels with the names of each pastry. I had a hard time hearing the staff member explain the different croissants, so it made ordering a little confusing. I was told there was a buy-one-get-one deal, so I ended up getting four pastries, but I think I was charged for three? I wasn't totally sure, so I just went with it. Pricing overall was pretty reasonable though. I tried the chocolate, matcha cream, ham and cheese, and bacon and cheese croissants. They were all flaky, fresh, and really tasty--you can definitely tell they're homemade. Service was okay, and overall I'd be willing to give this place another shot. I'd come back to try it again, maybe with a coffee next time.

Excited we have this in Natomas now! It's really good but I think with some slight changes it will be great! Service is great, very friendly which makes me want to come back. We ordered egg foam coffee and the mocha. Mocha was strong and good but had a lot of ice so it felt like you didn't get much drink. The foam coffee for me had too much milk and didn't taste strong enough. Foam flavor was delicious though. We also had pastries. Thank you for making them reasonably priced! Pastries exceeded my expectations. Strawberry one is so good, not too sweet, but just right. Oreo cream one is good but rich as expected so you don't need it to yourself. Hubby went back the next day and got a mango drink. Very good, no changes needed there. He also got some food they are trying out. It was meat with vermicelli noodles. Lots of flavor but for me, WAY too garlic dominant. The sauce to pour on and the meat flavor was so much garlic I couldn't smell or taste anything else. I even took the garlic chunks out of the dressing sauce. Looking forward to going back again!

I found Maestro after a Google Maps search, and chose to try them based on their solid reviews and uniqueness! I was not prepared for this level of pizazz!!! I ended up finding their take on my favorite coffee drink (Kerouac), and I was able to order it large - score!! It was muy, muy delicioso until the very last drop. On top of that, being very hungry and wanting breakfast, I was recommended a lovely turkey or ham croissant - and when additions were suggested, I just asked for eeeeeeverything (bacon, avocado, etc.). And guess what? That breakfast sando was eeeeeeverything!!! It blew my mind!! My neck was sore after all was said and done, because I kept shaking my head in disbelief, saying to myself things like "aww man this is GOOD" and "mmmMMM"!! Anyway, on top of this, the kind and happy folks making the magic happen behind the counter were fun, efficient, and receptive to me projecting all of my enthusiasm their way, haha. And yes the joint itself looks very nice and has ample seating, despite the narrow space. This place deserves all the love, all the attention, and all of the business!! Indeed, I had an amazing first experience - and it was no surprise that they had a line out the door. Thank you, Maestro for an unforgettable experience. I know where my new favorite coffee/breakfast place is!!! ^_^

The taro drink and mochi dog we got were good. Inside was very picturesque with a good amount of seating. The ramen wall was impressive and had a good selection. The Black Sesame French Toast was fantastic! We also got the Date-Orange Latte and the Salted Honey Lavender Latte, both tasted great! Our three drinks took less than 10 minutes, and I think the French Toast took exactly ten minutes. Not long at all, and it was busy when we were there(11am). My order was to-go, and they were all perfectly packaged! I so appreciate the front girl answering all my silly questions, the efficiency of the team, getting to watch the man in the kitchen do his work, and the clean and inviting presence of the place. There was a challenge, as I also spoke with the front girl about, but parking is competitive. All the parking spots were taken. My drink wasnt too sweet which I prefer. The hojicha latte was great as well! You don't see this often if at all so it was a pleasant surprise. The service was friendly and they were patient when I had questions on the standard vs the "twice" drinks. They have a shared parking lot which helps as they are off a busy stretch of road. The cons: They do not have size options for their beverages. Which for the most part isn't an issue except when I wanted a large drink. Which is why I bought 2. They partnered with Pastry Cat and unfortunately the common theme was they never had pastries even in 9am window. Not their fault but maybe partnering with a patisserie that offers consistent inventory might be worthwhile? The ambience is less "come and enjoy your drink" and more "we don't have enough seating"and use the space efficiently. I think if they update the layout of the tables and chairs, it would feel more inviting to sit for a bit or meet up with friends. The parking lot. It's terrible, crowded and people don't know how to park. I saw a couple of cars almost back into eachother while waiting and I was grateful I parked on the street and walked. Overall, the quality of the drinks and the friendliness are great and that receives 4 stars. If you want a quality matcha drink then give them a try. But I have access to other cafes that meet my needs; enough that Offbeat will be more of an off the beaten path option than a regular one.

The Americano here is easily the best I've had--bold, full of flavor, and not watered down like you get at a lot of bigger chain spots. You can tell it's made with intention. It actually tastes like coffee is supposed to taste. The pastries were just as impressive. The Biscoff cheesecake was rich and balanced without being overly heavy, with that warm, caramelized flavor that really stands out. The blueberry muffin tasted fresh and real--not overly sweet, just done right. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere sets the tone. The music is calm and relaxing, the chairs are genuinely comfortable (not the typical stiff coffee shop seating), and the entire space feels less like a business and more like sitting in a welcoming home--a nice home where you actually want to stay awhile. But what really sets this place apart is the experience. Abdul didn't just take our order-- he genuinely engaged with us. He was friendly, thoughtful, and took the time to explain the concept behind the space, including how it connects to the location and atmosphere. That kind of interaction is rare, and it completely changed the tone of the visit. This isn't a place you rush in and out of. It feels built for conversation--for sitting down, slowing down, and actually connecting with the people you're with. It's a refreshing change from the typical coffee chain experience where everything feels standardized and transactional. Another standout is that the menu is halal, which makes this an easy and welcoming choice for anyone looking for halal options without having to second guess what they're ordering. If you're looking for more than just caffeine--if you want a place that values community, comfort, and real human connection--this is absolutely worth your time. This place reminded me what a coffee shop is supposed to be.

Not too sweet, which was a surprise, the ice cream and the shaved ice on the bottom worked together flawlessly.A drizzle of condensed milk added a nice touch and enhanced the flavor profile. Between the two I think I preferred the strawberry-mango version but it's really close both were really high level. The Oreo version definitely hit right if you're in the mood for chocolate sweetness. The desserts are big enough to share-we shared with 2 people on the Oreo and 3 people on the strawberry version. In closing, I 100% recommend this shop if you're ever in the Natomas area and want to try out a pretty unique dessert experience-I'm sure you will enjoy it.
