    Pistachio latte

I came in with my friend. Parking here is on the street and maybe a tad hard to find. The coffee shop is a nice quiet neighborhood so it's really cute spot to chill and work if you need. I got the pistachio iced latte and my friend got the banana latte. Both were good. We each also got chicken rolls that were pretty tasty. They had a spice mixture sprinkled on that was very interesting. Enjoyed this little spot a lot.

Went to give Qisa a go this morning and I enjoyed my time here! The cafe is spacious, bright, and has both indoor and outdoor seating. The environment is welcoming and the servers were friendly and engaging. There the lots of tables and I saw people taking advantage of them to have their coffee and work on the laptops. Qisa offers hot and cold coffees with an Arabic spin. I asked for a recommendation and they recommended their hot Qisa Latte. It's their signature drink with authentic Yemeni coffee and espresso. It was mildly sweet and was very enjoyable. If you enjoy smooth, silky tastes - this one is a good bet. The menu also had a number of food items and I saw they had a spicy chicken sandwich. Sounded exciting but really ended up being a bit middle-of-the-road in terms of taste. I probably should have gotten something more cafe-oriented... but I wanted to try it. Overall Qisa is an enjoyable cafe experience and worth visiting!

First time at Qisa coffee today! It's so cozy! I tried their pink chai special. Beetroot gives it the signature pink color. I got a slice of the honey bite. It's a pastry that the barista described as an everything bagel with cream cheese inside. They warm it up and top it with honey! It was delicious! The drinks and pastry both came out quickly!

Quick and easy to order. I ordered a hot Qisa Coffee with whole milk - I was surprised it was almost $9. It tasted good. Good place to study if you can find a spot to sit. I came here on a Sunday and everyone was on their laptop or working on something so there were no open seats. Looked clean and inviting inside.

Trying to find a coffee shop open past 8pm on a weeknight is challenging. Fortunately, this coffee spot showed up on Yelp search. The place was packed with students studying and people hanging out. Good mix of tables and countertop seating. First time trying Yemeni coffee. I ordered the Qisa latte. It was really good. Not too spicy or too sweet. I loved the music. Ambiance both inside and outside the shop is modern and inviting. Service was excellent. Will be back to try other items.

Went on a Friday mid morning to try a new coffee place. Great friendly service. They were busy but still made sure to offer great customer service. The shop has great bright natural light and many people were working or studying. Latte had great flavor and not too sweet which like. Honeybite was not what I expected but in a good way. Bread with cream cheese and seasoning and honey on top. This was a great find for something a little different for an extra treat on a Friday coffee date.

Pistachio cake with milk. Which is light and so yummy! It has a texture almost like tres Leche cake. It's super moist and delicious!!!

This place is not your ordinary coffee shop. If you like strong coffee... you will love this place! It's Yemen coffee and it's going to keep you awake! Not for the faint of heart. That or I am just a coffee wimp! LOL!!! The service is excellent and friendly. It's definitely an experience. Oh and their dessert is super decadent! Yum!!! Definitely somewhere worth checking out.

Cute little coffee shop that I was able to work at. The honey bread was soooo goood!!! And the pink chai had pistachio it in. It was the perfect sweetness and very subtle. Service was great. Prices are what is expected in this economy, $7 or so per cup on the menu,

We came here early on a weekend and it wasn't busy. Although I think it would be hard to find parking when it is busy. Lucky for us, we came here and got the deal, buy one get one 50% off (7am-8am). I got a pistachio latte and it was very tasty. However, they ran out of mugs so we got to-go cups. It was weird because there was only 3 other people in the shop, lol. Overall, a good experience. Would go back again if in the area.

I really like this place! A Yemeni coffee spot in Curtis Park that is perfect for meeting and chatting with friends or even reading or studying alone! I love all their offerings - especially the pistachio latte. They spread the pistachio crème all around the cup before filling it with ice and the latte. The flavor of the crème is a little overly sweet but it mixes well with the rest of the drink and overall is well balanced. We also order a green tea lemonade that was amazing. Super flavorful, not just a regular mix that you can find at a restaurant - this drink was curated. The prices here are a little steep, $7-8 per drink but the quality is very well worth it. I also loved the spinach croissant I ordered. Very similar to the one at La Bou but with more herbs/spices! I believe a regular croissant is $5 and the spinach one is an extra $2. The staff I interacted with were friendly and patient. They seem to work together well.

The space is warm, welcoming, and has that perfect mix of cozy and modern. Plenty of seating and strong Wi-Fi--perfect for working or just relaxing. I ordered an iced ube matcha latte and it was smooth and not super sweet. There was plenty if street parking when I went early morning but it may get a bit tricky during busy hours. Bonus: 7am to 8am is bogo 50% off.

TL;DR Cozy late-night café with plenty of outdoor seating and a lively vibe. Smoothies and pistachio cake were decent but pricey, with quality not quite matching the cost. --- I came here around 8:30 PM on the hunt for a late-night sweet treat. The place stays open pretty late, which is definitely a plus. There's only street parking, but I had no trouble finding a spot nearby. Even that late, the café was still buzzing. Almost every indoor table was taken, so I grabbed a seat outside on the front patio. It was a nice atmosphere to relax in, especially for that hour. I ordered two smoothies, which were $9 each, and a slice of pistachio cake for $7. The prices felt a bit steep, especially for the smoothies, which I found to be just okay. It tasted like they didn't use real fruit in the smoothies, and from what I saw, it looked like they were using some sort of concentrate or juice. It leaned on the more artificial and sweet side. The pistachio cake had a nice flavor, but since it was late in the evening, it leaned on the drier side. Overall, it's a solid spot and a nice place to hang out, especially if you're in the area late. That said, it probably wouldn't be my go-to for drinks or pastries, mostly because of the price and the quality not quite living up to it.

We stopped by for a quick coffee break and were pleasantly surprised. The place is clean and spacious, with plenty of room to sit and relax. We ordered the chicken roll, honey bite, Qisa coffee, pistachio cheesecake, and pistachio coffee. Everything was served warm, which made it extra comforting. The coffee was smooth and sweet--very easy to enjoy. The pistachio cheesecake was the highlight: so smooth and creamy, highly recommended. Great spot for a cozy and relaxing break. Parking is only street parking and only for 2 hours; they don't have private parking.

I dont have photos of what I got for valentines day but remmeber them being ok but nothing mind-blowing Maybe its just the DOCO one that sucks but I went to give them another chance the day before mother's day and sorely regretted it. I got the matcha croissant ive been hearing about, the new blueberry cream croissant and the mango passionfruit entremet. The Croissants were a huge flop. Blueberry had barely enough filling inside-the cream itself was tasty but croissant was rough in texture and not flaky. Matcha was a bit more flaky and had more filling-I wouldn't say GENEROUS amount as some have said but maybe I just got a bad one. The cream was too subtle -it was more like vanilla with a hint of matcha. The entremet was the only one that didnt suck-it was delicious but again I wouldn't say anywhere in Sacramento has wowed me yet with their entremets compared to places in the bay except for the ones that ginger Elizabeth has had in the past-the flavor itself was on point, i will say the texture of the entremets have a majority layer of the jelly part-if they could perfect the variety of layers you're supposed to get in each bite I would be more impressed as thats the whole point of enjoying an entremet. Honestly I should have just gotten one pastry to try in one day as they are pricey-i paid 31 not including the tip fot my pastries, and in this economy one cannot waste that much on disappointing sweet treats lol

Over the years, Rick's remained a Sacramento staple, and when they opened up their new location in Midtown, the dessert community welcomed them back and embraced their sweet offerings, bigger space, and late night hours. I never went til just a couple weeks ago. Around 9pm on a Friday night I was craving banana cream pie and the husband wanted cherry pie. On Yelp search, Rick's came up as the top choice that was open. So we went and stood in the long line. The place was crowded and loud. Lively and busy vibe. Traditionally, it's even served at funerals as families celebrate the passing of a loved one into a better life. It's meant to be warm, rich, and meaningful. However, the café's version was far from that. The counter staff overpromised their Café de Olla, but it tasted terrible. When I asked to switch to a mocha because of how bad the coffee was, their friendly smile quickly disappeared. They didn't offer a replacement or try to make it right. Instead, I had to pay again for the mocha just to finish the coffee break with my wife. Very disappointing experience. It was an easy decision not to come back.
