I've passed by this coffee shop so many times, and we finally stopped in on a Sunday morning. When we stopped there was a run club out in their driveway area (they were blocking the way onto their parking lot) and we ended up getting a parking spot on the street. It's good to know that they do have a small parking lot though. It's a small cafe with a few bar seats along the window as well as a cute little outdoor patio in the back. The team members were very nice and I made small talk with the person taking my order, and ended up ordering their favorite- an iced honey latte. The coffee didn't take too long, even though there were a few orders ahead of mine, and it was delicious. I'd definitely stop by again in the future.

I've been coming to The Mill for years and their quality has always been consistent. They're known for their coffee and waffle in hand. On Sunday, I arrived at 7:30 and there was a couple of people enjoying their coffee. I was greeted by a kind barista and I decided to order the cappuccino and a croissant. My croissant was handed to me on plate and my drink took about 5 minutes. That first sip feeling was amazing. I'm still dreaming of the cappuccino that I had. The croissant was good. Nothing special, but still satisfied my craving. I would recommend coming here to get coffee and a waffle in hand, sit outside at the table and people watch. There's a lot of bikers and hikers as this is near a trail by Sacramento State.

I stopped by here on a whim and tried the roasted iced matcha latte. It was enjoyable! I also tried the chocolate croissant and was pleasantly surprised how delicious and flaky it was. It was topped with sea salt, it was so good! Cashier was pleasant and welcoming. The shop was nice, clean but small. I would love to come back and try their other drinks.

Adore this place! Love that it's so close to Sac State and has great hours! The ham and cheese croissant was delish and HUGE. Buttery and flaky The vanilla bean latte was amazing too! A great way to start one's morning or get an afternoon pick me up!

They make the most out of a fairly small shop. I was pleasantly surprised by their large selection of tea both to drink and buy. This place is popular for Sac State students since it's so close to campus. We ordered a matcha and decaf latte

Came with my best friend for a coffee date for her bday. Super cute inside and the outside area is nice and covered. Parking is a bit difficult as there aren't a ton of spaces and backing out can be difficult, but there is also some street parking. We had the iced chai and iced matcha. Both delicious, would recommend the wildflower syrup added to the matcha as it is unsweetened. The chai was spicy too. We also had the chocolate chip mochi waffle which was delicious! For me, the cookie was just ok. It is nice and thick but the flavor just isn't there for me and the texture is interesting. Will def be back to try more things!

Cute spot with efficient, friendly, service and a great quality cappuccino. They had an impressive array of tea for sale that all looked good too.

If you're looking for a quiet, low-key spot to study or get some work done, this place is a hidden gem. The vibe is super chill, with relaxing study music playing in the background and plenty of seating both indoors and outside. It's the kind of place you can actually focus in--no loud crowds, just a peaceful atmosphere. I tried their matcha with honey, and it was delicious! The matcha had a smooth, rich flavor, but I'd probably ask for light honey next time--it was a little too sweet for my taste. I also ordered a latte, which was solid and well-made. One small downside: the extra shot was a bit pricey (inflation, maybe?), but not a dealbreaker. Shoutout to the one staff member working when I visited--she was amazing. Super patient, answered all of our questions, kept the place running smoothly, and was even bussing tables in between helping customers. Seriously appreciated her hustle and kindness. Parking-wise, there's street parking available, but just a heads up: the ACE Hardware next door doesn't allow coffee shop parking unless you're shopping there. Overall, this is a cozy, no-frills coffee spot that nails the essentials--good drinks, great service, and a calm atmosphere for working or studying.

Cute little hole in the wall coffee shop near Sac State. I've tried a few beverages and the matcha is my usual go to. If you're looking for a sweet drink the iced caramel latte might hit the spot. The iced chai and vanilla bean latte have been a hit or miss for me. The shop itself is very clean and nicely put together. Seating inside is limited but they have outside seating as well. The employees here are nice and service is pretty quick!

Stopped by for a quick coffee and it did not disappoint! I ordered the iced vanilla latte, half sweet along with a waffle and jam. Good espresso and creamy body, not too watered down like some iced lattes are. The shop is tiny but very cute and clean. They have a variety of coffee beans and teas. Parking situation is a little difficult; there's 2 street spots in the front and a small narrow lot. I would absolutely come back or try the midtown location.

For drinks they were plenty of coffees, lattes, and teas. It was pretty busy so it took a while for our food to come out. Any time we visit Sac, it is one of our go-to spots! They do an excellent job of sourcing their coffee beans along with roasting them. They've gotten exceptionally good at standardizing their drinks across the board as well. We have also tried many of their drinks outside of what we ordered today, including the 1987, 18 to the Brain, Thai Coffee, and Mexican Mocha. They have a food menu as well, which ranges from rice bowls to breakfast sandwiches. It's a great place to go to meet with friends, studying, or working on a project. They also have a good amount of seating inside, but it does fill up quickly! They do have WiFi (and outlets) and one single bathroom. Given we have been coming here for years, it is a must whenever you're in the Arden area!

Looking forward to catching up with a friend, I found it ironic that she suggested Chloe Ca Phe & Roastery - considering that it was at the top of my Yelp bookmarks. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by a beautiful purple right-hand drive Nissan Skyline! I honestly don't know if this happened by chance or if my friend chose this particular coffee shop due to my love for cars. After I was done gawking at the Skyline, I approached the front counter where a friendly employee greeted me ready to take my order. Since the fall season was near (its already fall at the time that I'm drafting this review), I decided to go with the Sea Salt Latte - which was an option on the fall menu. Less than five minutes later our orders were ready. I found it very personable that the employee made pleasant eye contact and said "enjoy your coffee Raheem" as he handed it to me. While I sipped on my delicious latte and caught up with my friend, the nostalgic sounds of 90's and early 2000's R&B played in the background.
