Steele house is one of my favorites in yuba city so when I heard they opened a spot in east Sacramento I had to stop by. Compton's market is a gem and you should go support them regardless, but be sure to grab some coffee from steele house while you're inside. Johnny helped me with my order and was super knowledgeable and passionate about his work. Whole vibe was perfect and will definitely be back! Please go support this awesome local business!

There are many coffee and tea selections as well as some pastries in the front section and waffles. The waffles seem to be the only hot food item there, but it is very popular and is an item totally worth getting. The waffles is an excellent size and has a crispy outside and chewing interior. It comes with powdered sugar all over the top and your choice of jam or maple syrup. I went with the jam and I really enjoyed the waffle with it. The coffee was of very high quality. I had the cold brew with their sweet cream on the top. The cold brew was strong and the cream had a premium stiffness to it that standard coffee places don't do. It was not very sweet and for those who enjoy their coffee with less sugar, this is great. I found the coffee enjoyable throughout my time with it as I sat in the cafe hanging out with my friend. The Mill is a a top notch cafe and well worth a visit.

It's been a long time since we last been to 18 grams. It wasn't that busy then so it was nice to see them doing well. The staff were cool, definitely working hard to keep up with the business. There was a lot of seating both inside and out. We ordered on the kiosk but you can also order from the cashier. We didn't realize how much food items they now offered. There's different Filipino/Hawaiian dishes like a katsu, loco moco, and longanisa. They had baked goodies like ube muffins and pandan cookies. For drinks they were plenty of coffees, lattes, and teas. It was pretty busy so it took a while for our food to come out. Any time we visit Sac, it is one of our go-to spots! They do an excellent job of sourcing their coffee beans along with roasting them. They've gotten exceptionally good at standardizing their drinks across the board as well. We have also tried many of their drinks outside of what we ordered today, including the 1987, 18 to the Brain, Thai Coffee, and Mexican Mocha. They have a food menu as well, which ranges from rice bowls to breakfast sandwiches. It's a great place to go to meet with friends, studying, or working on a project. They also have a good amount of seating inside, but it does fill up quickly! They do have WiFi (and outlets) and one single bathroom. Given we have been coming here for years, it is a must whenever you're in the Arden area!

Looking forward to catching up with a friend, I found it ironic that she suggested Chloe Ca Phe & Roastery - considering that it was at the top of my Yelp bookmarks. Upon entering the establishment, I was greeted by a beautiful purple right-hand drive Nissan Skyline! I honestly don't know if this happened by chance or if my friend chose this particular coffee shop due to my love for cars. After I was done gawking at the Skyline, I approached the front counter where a friendly employee greeted me ready to take my order. Since the fall season was near (its already fall at the time that I'm drafting this review), I decided to go with the Sea Salt Latte - which was an option on the fall menu. Less than five minutes later our orders were ready. I found it very personable that the employee made pleasant eye contact and said "enjoy your coffee Raheem" as he handed it to me. While I sipped on my delicious latte and caught up with my friend, the nostalgic sounds of 90's and early 2000's R&B played in the background. Chloe Ca Phe & Roastery is my jam...I look forward to making a return visit in the very near future!
