Iced cookie butter latte w/ whole milk
Amelia C.

Omg!! My friend and I that I always get coffee with wanted to go to sac one last time tg before she went to college and we looked on tik tok where some good places were bc we seemed to only be going to Roots Coffee (which their sandwiches are a must try I'd highly recommend!) so I went to tik tok to find some good places in sac and stumbled across twin snakes multiple times. I came to yelp to check their reviews too and saw that it was very popular so I was excited to see what all the rave was about. And omg did this place NOT disappoint. The actual environment of the area was super chill, it felt like I was sort of in one of those walkable shopping streets in OC... might be a weird comparison but the way that area was set up was giving that vibe. The workers were also very nice and got my drink out quick. I got the iced cookie butter latte with whole milk and it was DELICIOUS!!! Their espresso was great and the flavor was just enough to where u could taste the cookie butter without it overwhelming the taste of the espresso. It was $8 on the dot which I wouldn't mind for this quality of coffee. I would definitely come back to try their other seasonal drinks!

Loved trying Twin Snakes! Perfect neighborhood location, incredibly friendly staff who were excited to talk about their offerings, and awesome housemade flavors - earl grey, cookie butter, mango, blueberry basil, etc.

Twin snakes, welcome to R street... I will say it's a sad thing that Milka is gone! They only have the OG spot on G! However, twin snakes coffee was really good! I got the cookie butter latte iced and it was delicious! They also offer some food and pastries. The inside looks very similar to how it did when it was milka! The man working was also very friendly! Cute logo!

Visited the new coffee shop at the WAL Public Market building. They had select few pastries, beans and an extensive drink menu to satisfy any customer. They also have a seasonal lineup that is sure to satisfy your taste buds. I went with the Cookie Butter latte and have heard it is not that sweet. And I'm happy to report, it's not that sweet. I like my coffee less sweet to no sweet and the Cookie Butter latte hit all the right notes for me despite it's name. It was creamy, buttery and less sweet. I believe another reviewer mentioned they make their syrups in house so kudos to whomever created the cookie butter syrup. As it tastes exactly like what you'd expect without overwhelming the senses. When I visited, there was only 1 barista taking orders and making the drinks. My drink came out pretty quickly despite the small line, however, it was a Sunday morning so I'd expect the rush to be sometime later. There are plenty of tables to sit at and opportunities to stay awhile if need to.

Glad to see this spot take over the former Camellia then Milka spot at the WAL public market. We were warmly greeted by the owner Malik as my boyfriend and I were looking over the menu. Nice, clean and modern space to enjoy your coffee/food. I like how they have familiar stuff you see at any cafe but also some different seasonal drinks. With all the great coffee places in town having a menu to make you stand out and be different is important. It looks like they make their own syrups which I greatly appreciate. Makes me enjoy the craft even more. My boyfriend got a hot Chipotle Chili Mocha and I got a hot White Chocolate Peppermint Mocha. Both drinks were absolutely DELICIOUS. They both were well balanced in the taste not too sweet but the flavors danced perfectly with the milk and the espresso. The Chipotle Chili was not too hot in relation to spice but the smokiness was there on the back end of the sip. After the coffee is gone and you want to lick the foam from around the inside of the cup is a tell-tale sign of a perfect latte. Milk steamed to perfection tasting like melted ice cream and that was delivered from our visit at Twin Snakes. After one visit this place is officially on our favorite coffee spots in town and we cant wait to come back.

LOVE this space! Perfect for studying, working or meeting up with a friend! Also doubles as a gallery space, and had other businesses inside so it's like a lil community. The coffee is always superb. The owner works hard to make sure you're getting the best quality pours every cup! All the drinks are carefully thought out and handcrafted with fun seasonal creations along with the staples! The pastries are made by Pain Pan bakery and are so delicious! Menu for the sweets changes weekly/per availability so make sure you get what you want when you see it! On R street so there is plenty to do and check out after you get your drink!

Located inside the Artist Lofts with nice seating and great customer service. It is not that busy during the AM with lots of seating. Baristas are always really polite and smiling. Americanos and lattes are delicious. Comfortable seating to be able to do some work or reading. A go to from now on when in the area.

Welcoming Twin Snakes Coffee to the R street neighborhood at WAL public market. Replacing what was previously Milka Coffee, Twin Snakes Coffee is great for fancy Mochas and cookie butter latte lovers. From housemade syrups to custom Chocolate sauces, this spot is a real holiday treat. For the mocha lovers, there is a chipotle chili mocha to warm you up in this cold weather or a white chocolate peppermint Mocha to get in the holiday spirit. Most popular and my favorite from today's order was the cookie butter latte. Strong Coffee and not too sweet, just the way I like my lattes. Drinks are also available in regular or decaf.

First time visitor! It's easy to find right in front, inside of the WAL Public Market. There is free 90 min street parking right outside too so it was easy for us to drop in for a quick drink. I liked that they had specialty drinks but the menu is quite barren overall, guessing because they just opened recently! The cookie butter latte had beautiful latte art and you can smell the cookie butter as soon as you begin drinking. I hope to return to try more of their drinks soon!

Okay been back here a few times and can confidently say their coffee and breakfast burritos are the BEST!! I tried the cookie butter latte this time and had the soy chorizo breakfast burrito! Def a must if you're in the area.

Chai latte w lavender honey syrup

I took myself on a date and got the matcha with the lavender honey syrup and oat milk. Absolutely delicious, creamy and could taste a hint of lavender which was so good! The seating area is pretry cute and perfect for having your tea and reading a book.

Almond Croissant $7.50 - I don't remember what this tasted like so it must've been standard. Matcha Croissant $9 - Don't let the price deter you because for $9, you get a big filling croissant and it was honestly so delicious. The dipped part was like a white chocolate matcha and the inside matcha filling was so good. I don't know how but I fridged it and ate it the next day, IT WAS STILL CRISPY! This was the highlight and highly recommend getting it. Blueberry Choux $11 - This was also really good too. The blueberry filling was creamy and delicious. It tasted really fresh. Macarons $2.95 each - Standard stuff. I got a Thai coconut cream and this is a flavor I haven't seen before and recommend trying it! In summary, highly recommend trying this place. It is on the pricier side but if you're like me and don't go to Sac often, I would give this place a try and buy extra!!

I decided to go for the chicken and mushroom congee. (rice porridge.). I also got a green onion hotdog roll to take home with me. To drink, I had a green tea with lemon. The congee was amazing. A rich complex flavor. It had a little bit of ginger in it, you could definitely taste the ginger, but it did not overwhelm the rest of the porridge. The chicken was good, and for the mushroom, they used black mushrooms, which have a deeper flavor than regular mushrooms. So very good. It looked like a small bowl, but I couldn't finish it. Some came home with me, and it reheated very well. It also came with Chinese donuts to put in the porridge. Chinese donuts are a little bit different. They definitely taste like a doughnut, except they are not sweet at all. They are savory donuts, and are perfect to use as a crouton, so to speak. The green tea was very good, and they didn't overdo it with the lemon, and that hotdog roll that I had later, the pastry was delicious with just a little bit of a "chew" to it, they were definitely high-quality hot dogs, and it wasn't just green onion. They had something mixed in, I'm not sure what it was, but it didn't taste raw like green onion can. Just a great lunch. I'll be back. Thanks.

We ordered jalapeño cheddar and classic sausage patty, egg, & cheese biscuit sandwich and biscuit 2 pack: blueberry and brown sugar biscuit. While picking up my boyfriend was recommended the cinnamon roll and he caved and got it! We had our pickup time at 7:30, but we showed up a little early and got our food around 7:20. There was a bit of a wait since there were some people ahead of us, so I'd recommend you going a bit earlier than your time just in case you're in a rush. We headed home to try everything. We really enjoyed the biscuits themselves as they didn't leave a dry or grainy feeling in your mouth. They had a good crust while being airy and light inside. The sandwiches were good, but they were anything crazy. Size wise it is small for the price you get, but I get it. It's all house made and fresh. We definitely think the biscuits themselves are the standout. The blueberry and brown sugar biscuits were a sweet tooth's heaven. The cinnamon roll wasn't too sweet either and had great texture and basically melted in your mouth. The iced vanilla lattes were really good. The pastries were the highlight. The almond pain au chocolat was perfectly flaky, and the filling was absolutely delicious. The very berry pastry was my favorite. The cream was light, fresh, and had just the right amount of sweetness, and the fruit on top tasted fresh and sweet. The hash brown bread with ham and cheese was very dense and filling, making it a great savory option. I loved the self-serve pastry setup and appreciated how large the bakery selection was. While some items looked a little fresher than others, there was still plenty to choose from, and everything we picked was delicious. The bakery itself was very clean with plenty of comfortable seating, and I noticed they even offer WiFi, making it a nice place to work, catch up with someone, or just enjoy a coffee. It was fairly busy and a little noisy, but there were still plenty of open seats. Parking was also easy thanks to the large parking lot. The only downside was the service. The staff wasn't unfriendly, but they also weren't especially welcoming. I also had trouble hearing the employee calling out completed drinks, so I ended up waiting around 10 minutes. It's possible our coffees were ready sooner, but I didn't want to crowd the pickup area. However, when I bit into my croquette and garlic frank, they were still cold inside. Since I had requested them to be toasted, I expected them to be warm all the way through. I called the store afterward to ask what their standard procedure for toasting items is. The employee I spoke with told me that it "just depends on the worker and how they toast it."
