Short and sweet, all of the staff members here that I've gotten to meet are so kind and compassionate. They always make my drink right and they also always have such good conversation or give suggestions. A little bit more detail, I go to school at FLC and my boyfriend lives out here in Folsom. This isn't my primary stand, closest to my house, but I come here for a pick me up 90% of the time. Bad test day or feeling lazy. And for the last couple of years, I've met so many different people who work here and all of them greet me with the same warm energy. One time my phone died as I was in line and I couldn't use my birthday reward (phone number just adds the points to your account, but you can't redeem) & a super sweet staff member hooked me up regardless. This is the only Dutch Bros Coffee in Folsom, CA. So you can imagine this place is hopping must of the time. It only has one drive thru lane though. The line starts behind the Big O Tire shop. Follow the signs. Once you get into the queue, there is no way to bail out since it's an enclosed lane. Anyway, the crew here has always provided me excellent customer service. The crew is meant to engage with customers so don't be freaked out by the outgoing personalities and the insanely loud volume of the music blaring from their little coffee booth. They make delicious overpriced coffee, tea, and kids drinks. The posted drive thru menu doesn't list all their drinks. For the full menu, check out their website. The website menu is insanely extensive. My go to drink is the mocha freeze made of almond milk. I always request extra chocolate drizzle and chocolate walls, they deliver and don't disappoint. First off the barista working the counter was amazing and gave the history of Dutch bros and what they were known for. I went with the 911 and a large size since I figured we were in for a long road back. First off, their large size is no joke, it's huge. Secondly, the coffee itself, is absolutely delicious. It's on the strong side, but still very tolerable. Opted to stand in the line instead of the drive through and there were too many kids and high schoolers lol I ordered, sat, and one of them kept hopping his body on the table I was sitting at causing an earthquake like sensation. While on our vacation, we were heading to Lake Tahoe and passed this place that was insisted on by all the teenager girls. We had a full ass Expedition full of people that wanted stuff and I was driving. That meant I had to order. The newest coffee shop in Folsom which now finds itself swarming with good options. Dutch Bros has made its mark as a west coast chain cementing with today's youth. While they have only a few types of drinks, where they rise above competition is the friendliness of the staff, WIDE variety of flavors, and speed of delivery. This corporation was featured in Undercover Boss which is why I know they care about their coffee sourcing, but their beans just don't deliver like a top notch coffee shop. I don't care for chocolate but I love white mochas, unfortunately, they use chocolate milk instead of regular milk so I've had numerous issues keeping it out of my drinks. During Christmas they have won me over with their Peppermint bark latte. It's really a good flavor without tasting syrupy if ya know what I mean... my wife only likes the Irish creme latte here which is pretty good if your an Irish cream fan (hold the alcohol). My kids are big fans of the rebel and tea (green or black) drinks which you can have iced or blended. They literally have 100s (maybe thousands) of flavor combinations to try. Try one of their creations (Lazer Cat, Tropical, Fire Lizard, and Vampire Slayer are family favorites) or create your own by experimenting with the flavor list that is yours to keep. While Dutch isn't my go to coffee shop, I do enjoy popping in for a drink now and then and proudly display my seasonal stickers they offer (free) as a proud Dutch Dad. Brandon, who took our order, greeted us with a smile in the freezing cold! My hubby ordered a fruity drink I don't recall the name but it was blue and delicious. I ordered a dirty chai hot with oat milk (hack: for creamy, hot drinks, always opt for oat milk). I wanted soy milk to get some protein in my sugary drink so I wouldn't feel so bad ha, ha, but unfortunately Dutch Bros no longer carry's soy milk. Been going here a lot since we move to Folsom. We usually come in at night and their drive-thru is always packed but you'll be surprised how fast the service is. At least 2 employees will greet you and take your orders and payment before you reach the actual store window. We went through the drive through, and they have speakers outside that were blasting music - exceedingly loud that you couldn't hear. Finally managed to visit this location for the first time. I've been to all the other Dutch Bros. around the Sacramento/Davis area, and I'm happy to have one close to home with this new location. There were numerous staff standing outside the building and on the sidewalk taking people's orders. It was interesting how they would take our order while walking a bit towards the building as I also moved my car while trying to tell the girl my order. Not sure how I liked this set up for ordering, but maybe it was just this day I happened to go. I'm used to driving up to the window to give my order. Nonetheless, the staff was friendly. Naturally the drinks are great. I was very happy with my orders. I've said this before, but I still feel the same way about their drinks after all these years. I prefer their blends more than Starbucks if given an option. My only regret during this visit was not ordering the largest drink size. read more

IMO: if you like the actual taste of coffee, this is not the spot for you. Any hint of coffee taste is hidden with various additives and flavors. I've been to the Oregon locations (where it originated) and it's much truer to coffee. Some people love it and it's good if you're looking for a super sweet, complex drink to energize you. It reminds me of an energy drink and coffee married and this cafe is their baby. I got the toasted lavender cold brew, which they just steam a cold brew drink, and I would not recommend. They are super fast and efficient - can clear a line of 20 cars super fast! I love the Dutch Sodas - if you've never tried one - you should next time. You can choose from tons of flavors and can get it with a cream float on top. I like to mix lime and coconut with a cream float. Deliciousness on a hot day - with a smile. The actual coffee drinks are usually no good. If you're going for a rebel then it's fine. I went and wanted to try their caramel chai tea latte, and it literally tasted like extremely sweet milk. I was so stoked when I found out they opened this location up in Folsom. Before this location, the closest Dutch Bros was on Madison Ave! I've been here a few times and the every experience is the same as any other experience at different locations. The drive thru line is usually pretty long however the employees are pretty quick. Typically they have an employee or two walking to cars and taking orders with their iPads so by the time you get to the window, they give you your drink and you're off. At other locations I've been to they're only able to take card, which is understandable but when my friend and I visited yesterday, the guy who came to our window was able to take cash and provide us with our change right on tbe spot, which I thought was cool. By the time, we got to the window, our drinks were ready. Quick and simple process. There have been other times, where an employee will run out my drink to my car if in the it's ready and the car in front of me is taking a bit of time. Overall, super happy this location opened. The employees are super friendly and quick. Never had a bad experience at this location. All their drinks are delicious. Definitely try their cold brew kicker though; it's my fave! read more
