Came in on a Friday morning around 11am and was surprised to find the place completely empty, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and unhurried. The staff were incredibly friendly and professional, and you could genuinely tell they enjoyed working together. Lots of smiles, light conversation, and a really positive energy behind the counter. It's always nice walking into a spot where the vibe feels just as good as the space itself. Phoenix, who took my order was super sweet and friendly. I went with a matcha latte, which looked great color wise, but unfortunately the flavor didn't really come through and mostly tasted like plain milk. On the other hand, the pesto danish I ordered warmed up was a total standout! super flavorful and easily the highlight of my visit. I also ordered a double shot espresso over ice, which took about 15 minutes to come out, and I didn't get much of an update during the wait, but it did eventually arrive. Placed an order for DoorDash (this was my first mistake). Ordered an iced white (oat milk) with a CHEESY SAUSAGE SLIDER and a side of avocado. The drink was delicious! The lid to the drink is horrible though. It's an open top and I small move and it spills. You'd think they had a lid that's sealed with all the door dashers /uber eats nowadays. But it drink itself was perfection. My deduction however has nothing to do with my drink and it was strictly for the smallest sandwich I've ever paid $5-6 for! I come here just because I have a gift card I need to burn. Moderate coffee smell fills the place and I'm not a coffee person or coffee smeller. Came for the breakfast sandwich with sausage egg and bacon and while sure it is a little crispy on outside it also was a little oily and lacked good sauce for distinct flavor, it was kind of bland. I also think it may have been pre packaged and just needed to he heated up. At least the baristas were social anxiety driving cute/pretty and really polite to interact with. read more

I prefer Peet's coffee over Starbucks . So, whenever I'm back home , I frequently visit this location . The baristas here always make my drinks with love and they always do a great job . I do enjoy Peet's coffee blends and single origins. I find them to have a bolder flavor and richer taste than their "Green"'competitor. I tend to forget that there is a Peet's Coffee shop on East Bidwell Street near Blue Ravine Road. It is tucked in a smallish shopping plaza. Well I remembered recently and dropped on in for a caffeine fix. It was a couple of hours before closing time. The majority of staff was working on closing chores, however I was still welcomed in. I ordered a hot mocha made with almond milk. Darn it was capital D.... Delicious! Parking lot tip. If you want to exit the lot to turn left and head south on East Bidwell Street when traffic is super busy, consider exiting the lot from Creekside Road where there is a traffic light controlled intersection. However; the drinks are hit or miss with more misses that hits and there is the older gentleman that makes me feel so uncomfortable every time he takes my order at the cash register! When I last went the older gentleman was chatting it up with regulars which I think is great, but when taking my order he wasn't listening to my order and it was done incorrectly. I don't come to Peet's often because I don't live near one but I was excited to stop by for a large iced latte. There happened to be no line when I walked in and the cashier was waiting at the register to greet me. There was an employee discussing beans at the bean counter (classic Peet's). The cashier and barista were super friendly and patient as I ordered. I asked what nondairy milks they offered and I was recommended the Ripple add-on. I'm glad I tried it because it's delicious and it does not overpower the espresso. I actually love this place! The people are always awesome, helpful and friendly! Everything I've ever had is great too! So why the one star? I don't love that flies are all over living on their pastries, laying eggs to become larva and maggots in your food... yummie!!! Hyperbole, maybe haha Who thought an open pastry case was a good idea? Genius, right?! So, obviously the one star is to get their attention on this very uncharacteristic problem that they have. This Peet's is my favorite -- the majority of the staff are absolutely lovely, the establishment is very clean, the products/noshes are high quality and consistent and I always leave a happy customer. I love that they know my name (even if it's on my mobile ticket) and that we can briefly chat about life in the encounter. On the 11th, I asked a elderly friend to go to Peets coffee and pick up 2 orders. I provided him with a written list which included 2 coffees and 2 snacks. He handed the list to Ozzy who filled his order. When he gave me the order half of it was wrong. I called the female MOD who said she would refund my money. I sent my friend back and he was hassled. He called me and handed the phone to the MOD she attempted to tell me that my friend read off the list to Ozzy. This is in fact wrong. She then told me she would only refund me for the wrong items. After telling me she would refund me for the full order, she failed to consider the inconvenience and the cost of gas. As I was hanging up the phone, I heard her telling my friend in the future...no apologizes at all. She did not claim any responsibility and blamed it on my friend. read more

Despite NOT being a fan of Peet's with a preference for Starbucks, I was still quite impressed with this location. The coffee was decent, the space inviting on a cold winter's day and the service very friendly. I came in to kill some time while waiting for an appointment down the street. It was raining and yucky outside and, as the adage goes, I went for any port in a literal storm. I was impressed by the space, which was larger than your average chain coffee spot and conducive to long laptop sessions or curling up with a cup of hot joe. The gentleman and lady who served me were very attentive and got my latte out quickly. It hasn't swayed me away from the Starbucks menu I know and love, but it will make me think twice about consciously avoiding Peet's ion the future. Job well done. read more

I felt like the time had come last visit to the area so we found this one relatively close to our hotel and gave it a shot. There were wild turkeys on a walk near the bike path in the parking lot we got to see pretty close up before we went inside. There was 1 guy barista here who was extremely professional, quick, helpful, and we really appreciated him! He seemed so positive. The other male and female working looked pretty miserable for some unknown reason. We each tried breakfast sandwiches, an iced white mocha, and a pumpkin seasonal iced drink, which were all absolutely delicious! Worst customer service ever!!! I pulled in to the parking lot at 6:58 PM this Sunday. I asked my wife what kind of coffee we were getting . 1 lb Costa Rica for the Chemex. I make eye contact with a heavy set white lady inside as I'm walking to the door . I think she's going to greet me as she beats me to the door to tell me sorry we are closed. Not my fault the app didn't work. She was very sour about how I did NOT order online and was almost implying that I couldn't order standing in front of her. Ummm, just take the order. Get the coffee. Nobody cares about the app. Manager: hire someone who won't interrogate customers. If you are the manager, then whoever is above YOU needs to be notified of the stellar attitude. Love Peets! This location is super close to our house and their coffee is amazing! We buy Peets coffee beans in bulk and enjoy at home, during work and on the weekend! I love stopped by for an iced beverage or a warm drink. My favorites include the iced chai, iced coffee and the warm chai. I absolutely love coming here and would prefer this place over Starbucks.
