Pressed Juicery in Folsom is set in a beautiful shopping area, which made stopping by feel like a treat in itself. Service was friendly, and the staff member working was kind and helpful in answering questions. My biggest disappointment was that this location didn't offer the vanilla or chocolate soft serve flavors that I've come to expect at other Pressed Juicery spots. When I asked, I was told they don't serve those options and that the protein shakes are essentially the same flavors, just not frozen. Unfortunately, it just didn't hit the same way I was hoping for, and I left a bit disappointed. I didn't feel like venturing to another location afterward, so while it wasn't a bad experience overall, it definitely didn't deliver the treat I was looking forward to. read more

This is the cutest little eatery with tons of outdoor seating in a pleasant little shopping center! We were in the area visiting seaquest the day after thanksgiving and stopped here on our way back to our car because the Christmas tree in the plaza was just so pretty (we had to check it out) and then the pictures posted on the window of Pressed caught our eye. It looked and sounded so delicious! We were not disappointed! I ordered the vanilla soft serve with granola, almond butter, and blueberries and my husband got his with gummy bears, blueberries, and almond butter. The soft serve is so refreshing and light!--A little icy. For 140 calories it still tastes very indulgent, which was perfect for after Thanksgiving. Service was fast and helpful and our server was sweet enough to give our toddlers little cups of the goji berries. We will definitely be returning! read more

I went to Pressed recently, and I waited in line for 20 minutes, and there were still two people ahead of me. The one person working there was also behind on all the pickup orders. I had to go to another appointment, so I left, but this is so ridiculous not to have enough people working at the store. The time before, this one poor lady was by herself working in the store, and I was waiting for like 5 minutes in the store before she realized I was there. The drinks and food are great, but it's very poorly managed. Get the workers some support and hire adequately! I came in at 7:30pm Tuesday and ordered the Açaí Protein Bowl. I asked for no bananas but just give me more strawberries. When I got the bowl, it looked empty (where the bananas should have been). So I reminded him that I asked for extra strawberries. He said, "unfortunately we're out of strawberries." Shouldn't he have known this after I asked him for the extra strawberries? Leads me to believe he just didn't want to give me more strawberries? Why not? I paid $15+ for a shallow bowl. He was actually a really nice guy but a bit scattered and nice doesn't satisfy a paying customer. He also did not ask me for my frequent # so he said he could not give me credit for that order because he "forgot". No receipt so I could not scan anything to add to my account. I fell in love with pressed when I lived in Studio City and had one down the street from me... I was scared of losing it when I returned to Nor Cal, but luckily there's a few around! I live the extended hours now (I swear it changed a while back from 7pm to 9pm) because I have a funky work schedule. They are always so nice and you're able to sample before buying. Their vanilla freeze is made with simple ingredients [only almond milk (almonds and water), dates, natural vanilla flavor, and sea salt] but delivers a powerful punch of flavor. The consistency is more dense than regular soft serve and you can definitely taste the dates but in a subtle way. The sweetness is perfectly balanced and not overly sweet like common artificially sweetened soft serves. I ordered mine to go and it lasted the 20 minute drive in the car without melting. They offer two sizes, 5 oz for $5.00 and 8 oz for $6.50 (no toppings). It is pricy but for someone like myself who hasn't been able to enjoy soft serve for years, it's worth every penny. This is a good place to start for those looking to get into juicing or try something like juicing. This location was near parking and bathrooms and a nice outside sitting area. The store itself is not big, however the service is big. Very friendly and informative about what they have to offer and they won't try and sell you on the purchase. They'll recommend and suggest things that may sound sales pitchy but it's not. They have things that take time to work for some so once or twice or two drinks won't due the product justice. We got the detox and immunity drinks and the double days and we love it. May do every few months but don't forget to sign up for their plan and get a small discount. The overall experience was great and the store was quiet and not too loud. They have bowls that will be great for fuel before or after a workout so just know they have more than juices read more

I stopped by here for the first time on Saturday because I was curious about what the hype was all about. Because it was my first time, I had zero clue on what to order. I asked Isha at the register for some recommendations and she suggested so many different options depending on what kind of things I like. I am a huge fan of lemonade, so I got the lemonade bundle with the Mango Turmeric Lemonade, Elderberry Lemonade, and Strawberry Basil Lemonade. Each of these were delicious and I was very happy with Isha's suggestions! She also recommended that I sign up for the rewards program because you get a free juice or freeze for signing up. If you're looking for a completely guilt-free "dessert", Pressed has your back with their vegan, sugar-free, better than fro-yo Freezes. They have tons of delicious toppings to choose from and their flavors are earthy, wholesome and delicious without tasting like artificial sweetener I recently branched our and tried a juice (Citrus 2) and an elderberry shot- both of which were amazing! While I really like Pressed Juicery, this location needs to be better organized in their staffing. 3 times in the last week and a half I have tried to go in the morning. Their hours are posted as 9-8. I went at 9:05 and nobody was there, lights off, door locked. Next day, called ahead to make sure they were open, and a guy answers, so I asked if they were open, and he tells me he will open soon as he's fixing the printer. Ok, I get it, so I asked if he thought he'd be open by 9:15-9:20 and he says he can't tell me a time he'll open because he has to fix the printer and count the drawer. So I asked if I could even do a cash transaction? He says no and he can't estimate what time he'll open. I own a business and I think this is just poor service if they can't figure out a way to be ready to open by the time they list. I went back today, and online and website hours still are listed as 9-8. So I walk up at 9:10, small sign on door says temporary hours 10-5. Mind you, it's 15 minutes past my job so I wasted gas and time driving to the location to find it closed. 3 times in 10 days! While I totally understand Covid staffing issues, maybe the manager or owner needs to step in to realize their staff is not opening on the time listed. It's frustrating when you are trying to prepare a cleanse or meal day and have to get to work as well and can't do so because they don't have accurate info listed. read more

Showed up at 5:15 to get some juice for my sick wife at home. I get there and there is a sign that says be back at 5:40, I wait for a couple minutes and a lady walked up asking if I was picking up an order. I said no I just want to buy something but idk why it's closed right now. She explained to me that she closed up. So I asked her if she could open up so I could spend some money there. She did not seem very happy that I asked her to do that. She seemed up set with me that I would even ask that so I told her never mind I'm not gonna give you guys my money if it's that big of a deal. It's not my fault that they are understaffed, maybe change your hours to close for 30-1 hour for "lunch" at 5:15. HUGE WASTE OF MY TIME AND SHITTY CUTSOMER SERVICE. Will definitely never spend a dime here. To whoever the owner or manager is you really need to take a look at your business model.... You lost out on a sale cause your understaffed. So maybe the owner needs to be there at all times so they never have to close doors. I own my own business and I would NEVER EVER close my doors when everyone else expects them to be open. They have an assigned parking space for pickups and all you need to do it call the number and they deliver it to your car, the woman just told me to leave my trunk open so she can place it in there without any contact to you. Last night we ordered three different acai bowls from Pressed Juicery in the Palladio via DoorDash. Pressed confirmed the order and indicated they were preparing the bowls. The dasher went to Pressed to pick up the order and they told him they don't have any acai bowls and I needed to cancel my order. (And since the order had been confirmed by the store, that means I was still charged for something the store did not fulfill.) Today I had to spend time to contact DoorDash to request a refund and I was going to report a menu problem, but called the store to confirm they really don't have acai bowls. The employee I just spoke to said they do have acai bowls, but are "permanently" out of dragon fruit (only one of the three bowls we ordered was dragonfruit and I know the store can indicate if an item is unavailable). So I told him if they "permanently " didn't have an item they should update their DoorDash menu, and in any event the store should NOT have confirmed an order they couldn't fulfill. The employee then told me I should contact DoorDash to fix their menu and I could call customer service. Are you kidding? I am a customer- not an employee - and I am NOT responsible for maintaining their website, their menu on DoorDash or for confirming orders they receive. No apology whatsoever that we waited an hour for a dinner that never arrived and that I got charged over $36 for an order they confirmed but didn't fulfill. And to top it all off, I'm not their free website maintenance team or their store supervisor. Why would they not just apologize and thank me for reporting a problem, and now somehow I am supposed to fix their problems for them?!?! Seriously one of the worst customer service fiascos, showing no care, no accountability etc. Pressed Juicery has completely lost this customer. Nektar is where I will be going for acai bowls in the future. What a terrible way to run a business. read more
