We randomly decided to stop by Blend one afternoon back in 2023 for their soft opening, and I'm honestly really glad we did. What started as a random stop turned into a place I really enjoy coming back to. From the beginning, Jayden, Dylan, Jeremy, and Michelle have been some of the nicest and most welcoming people I've met. Over time, I've actually built genuine friendships with them, and that's probably one of the things I appreciate most about Blend. It feels less like you're walking into a business and more like you're walking into a place where people actually know and care about each other. The family has also been a really positive influence. They're the kind of people who are willing to talk with you, listen, and make you feel welcome whether you're having a good day or going through a rough one. Blend has become a place where people can come to relax, meet new people, make friendships, and just have a positive environment to be around. They have kava, protein shakes, acai bowls, and food if you're looking for something to eat. The customer service is great, and they're always willing to answer questions and explain what they offer. They recently remodeled the place too, and it looks great. The lighting, music, seating, and overall atmosphere make it a really comfortable place to hang out. Whether you stop in during the day or later at night, they do a great job creating a chill atmosphere. There are also plenty of good food spots along the strip, so it's an easy place to stop by and make part of your afternoon or evening. I originally stopped by on a whim, but I've ended up making some really good friendships here. That alone says a lot about the kind of environment they've created. If you're in the area, I'd definitely recommend giving Blend a try. Come in, grab something, hang out for a while, and meet the people. You might just end up finding a place you keep coming back to like I did. read more

Dylan at Blend deserves ALL the praise!! This guy was genuinely the most helpful, most polite, most energetic person I've ever encountered. His good mood was absolutely contagious, and his customer service was beyond anything I could've asked for. And the Açaí bowl?!? THE BEST AÇAÍ BOWL I HAVE EVER HAD IN MY ENTIRE EXISTENCE ON PLANET EARTH. It was genuinely incredible. Dylan, you are a LEGEND. I will absolutely be returning, and honestly, somebody needs to give this dude a raise immediately. He deserves it!! 10/10 experience. 100/10 Dylan. read more

Had such a great experience at The Blend! Dylan was absolutely amazinggg he was super helpful, friendly, and provided the best customer service. You can tell he genuinely cares about making sure customers have a great experience. And I have to say, this was the best acai bowl I've ever had in my entire life of existence! Everything was so fresh and delicious. Definitely coming back again, and Dylan deserves a shoutout ! - FROM MEL SKYLA & LANDON read more

Since I can't edit or reply to owners response on yelp. Regarding the Hot Chocolate, the sign literally said "try our hot chocolate" no where did it say that it was for kids. The worker didn't even mention it was targeted for kids. It's false advertising and the owner, like in many other posts I have read, gaslights anyone talking negatively. read more

Terrible acai bowl afwul tasting blended drinks yuck save $ go elsewhere it is not cheap either

Confused as to what this place is supposed to be. "Not a Kava bar" and "family atmosphere"?? It's just unenthusiastic juveniles vaping behind the counter, and children running around at night, where are the parents? It's not a kava bar... but sells kava? The kava was either very diluted or was not kava-- and at a ridiculous price. read more

Location is very cute, ideal for hanging out. Acai bowls have an acai base mixed with apple juice for sweetener which is not traditional (Brazil uses Guaraná syrup for sweetener) and it's just not what I think of when I am craving acai. Maybe a good low cal option for others. Will try something else next time. read more

Oh, Blend in El Dorado Hills, you had one job: make an açaí bowl that screams "tropical superfood bliss." Instead, I got a sad snow cone masquerading as an açaí bowl! This was no luscious açaí dream it was a slushy mix of icy açaí powder, some sketchy mystery powders, a lone banana, and a whisper of maybe-juice. The flavor? Imagine a popsicle that got lost in the freezer for a decade, with a faint "açaí-banana" cameo. I wanted a bowl of vibrant joy, not a frosty betrayal! Save your money.. won't be back. read more

Blend in El Dorado Hills is a hidden gem that brings something truly unique to the area. The vibe is unbeatable--dim lighting with black lights and RGB accents gives the space an energizing yet chill atmosphere that's perfect for relaxing or catching up with friends. The music is always on point, setting the perfect tone whether you're there to unwind or get work done. Their acai bowls are a must-try--fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. I've tried a few, and each one hits the spot without feeling heavy. The Cloud Breakers (Kava) are also top-tier--smooth and effective, with a great range of flavors. If you're into Kratom, they've got solid options for that too, with knowledgeable staff ready to guide you. Whether you're a regular or just curious about Kava and Kratom culture, Blend offers an inclusive and welcoming experience. It's a great hangout spot with good food, good drinks, and great energy. Definitely worth checking out. After reading some of the other Yelp reviews about one of the managers Jayden, I was hesitant--but my experience couldn't have been more different. Jayden actually helped guide me through a handcrafted experience with both the food and Kava. He was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what Blend offers. It honestly seems like those past negative reviews were either exaggerated or completely false--whatever the case, his behavior has obviously been corrected, if there was ever an issue to begin with. read more

Ordered an Açaí bowl, it was flavorless & watered down, soggy granola and completely inedible.

tasted HORRIBLE and i'm not even picky. both drinks nasty as hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my sister & i both got one and just threw it in the trash.

So I had seen this place a couple of weeks ago while walking my dog. I wasn't quite sure what type of store it was by looking through the windows. On one side of the building it appeared to be a bar and on the other side it was said to be a tanning studio. Any way I was again in the area so I went inside to grab a protein drink. I was pleasantly surprised. I was greeted promptly and happily. I ordered a cake batter protein drink I assumed it was made with milk so I asked what kind of milk and she said all of our drinks are made with water. I ordered a small because I wasn't sure if I would like it. It was delicious and the price was only $5.00 that's an extra plus in this day. Right ? I asked some more questions and was told this is a Kava bar that relaxes you. It stays open until 1 am sometimes. I've heard of this stuff anxious to try real soon. On the other side of the business is a tanning salon with items for sale that seem pretty interesting and also clothing items. The vibe in the bar is chic cool And relaxing. I can't wait to come back for some relaxing Kava. read more

I've been coming to Blend for about eight months now and have gotten to know the owners and their family. It's hard to find genuinely good people these days, but they're definitely here. They're doing something right--teaching their kids about business, hard work, and how to treat people. Not many places feel this welcoming. It's one of the few spots where I can hang out for hours and actually enjoy it. read more

This is one of my favorite places in El dorado county. Not only are their food/shakes absolutely wonderful but the family who owns Blender is nothing but pure amazing goodness. They radiate positivity and offer a sense of family you just can't find anymore. I've had multiple shakes and they are all incredible but what you really need to try is the colossal banana bowl - i think it's top 5 best things i've ever had in my life and it's packed with so much protein and love. Their late night Kava bar is also really fun and has a great atmosphere for a night out I cannot recommend Blend enough. read more

My friends and I have come in a few times for the smoothies and kava but the manager Jaiden was extremely rude and has some of the worst hospitality I've ever encountered. He cussed at my friend from across the room for eating ramen then took it out of her hands and threw it in the trash. Don't recommend coming here. The Root of Happiness team in Rancho has way better hospitality and kava! Edit: Since I am unable to respond to the owners comment. The manager yelled "you can't fucking eat that in here, it fucking stinks, throw it out or I will" and then ripped it from her hands. I understand the outside food policy, and she should've thrown it out the first time. However, simply asking her to leave due to not following store policy would've been the most appropriate response in my opinion. Physically removing something from a guests hands, is inappropriate and unprofessional. Regardless of what a guest is doing, I've never seen a manager escalate a situation to a physical level. How would you feel if yourself, or a family member went to an establishment and had something ripped from their hands? read more

First time visiting Blend. Admittedly not a real fan of $11 smoothies/shakes but thought my wife and I would give it a shot. Ordered the Peaches ands Cream. Teenage girl whipped the ingredients together, blended them and struggled to get the concoction thin enough to pour from the blender (possibly too much ice.....???). Left the store and found the shake to be very low on flavor. Met up with my wife nearby and she felt the same. The counter girl's mood was not impressive and I wondered if she was having a less-than-stellar chat with the young man sitting at the bar. In a nutshell, we were not impressed with the quality of this shake. For $11.00 I would expect to be blown away by a delightedly flavorful drink.........but this one was pretty blah. No "Contact Us" on store's website. Owner needs to be aware of disappointing customer visits and the fact that others like us may have no plan to return. read more

I don't normally take the time to write reviews but my experience here left me speechless. I live in EDH and I've been in business 20+ years myself. I decided to pop in for the first time while running errands. I was barely greeted by a young lady at the front, she acted like I was a big inconvenience the whole time I was there, not pleasant at all, super moody and rude. I said it was my first time visiting, what a cool place this is and wasn't familiar with the menu. She barely acknowledged that I said anything. I asked if they had any vegan friendly shakes. She didn't seem to know what that meant, but that's ok not everyone does. She then tells me they have 3 options to choose from, Blueberry, Strawberry and Chocolate. I said great, I'll have the strawberry please. She asked what size and I said the medium. I get my drink, and it's a super small cup (Starbucks tall size) and it's chocolate. I honestly couldn't be bothered saying anything to correct the mistake because of how terrible the customer service was. I took one sip, it tasted like crunchy blended ice with barely any flavour. It got tossed in the trash. This place has lots of potential, great location and it has a cool vibe in there. I don't understand how this young lady thinks it's ok to treat patrons this way and stay employed!! I'd be very upset if I were the owner and my staff treated paying customers this way. What a shame! read more

I've been to Blend three times now. The workers have always been so warm and welcoming - feels like family. My biggest problem is that I just wanted to keep trying everything and so many things look good. I've had the post workout smoothie (over 40 g of protein and low carb/sugar) two times now. My Vanilla Almond oatmeal was really good and my wife's was as well. The acai bowl was also really good. I will keep going back for sure, especially after my workouts. It also a cool place just to hang. Cheers to Blend! Thank you for opening such a great business in El Dorado Hills. read more

This is a "health" drink place selling mostly drinks/shakes/teas with protein powders, flavorings, and add-ins, but we didn't see any drinks that had actual fruit or vegetables blended in them. It's also a Kava and Kratom bar. Yes, Kratom, which was banned in San Diego and Oceanside in 2016 due to concerns over its safety and potential for abuse. City ordinances classified it as a "novel psychoactive compound," grouping it with synthetic drugs like bath salts and spice, despite it being a natural herb. Our observation is that Blend is geared mostly for a younger crowd as we rarely see anyone over 30 inside when we walk by, especially in the evenings. If protein powder drinks and artificially flavored "boosted" teas are your thing (along with loud music and modern vibe mood lighting) this place is sure to please. We, however, tried two drinks (with neither Kava or Kratom in them) and they were honestly terrible. We had a sip of each and threw them out. Artificial tasting, gritty, and unappetizing. To be fair, we are not 20-something's looking to feel "relaxed" with Kava or seeking energy/pain relief from Kratom so we can't speak to how those drinks taste. However, we can speak to the protein powder flavor drinks and we don't recommend this place for those. The service was aloof, very slow, but friendly. As others have commented, the prices are high and the music is loud. If it's your first time, order a small until you're sure this is the right place for you. This is no Neckar or Jamba Juice, that's for sure, so be aware of that going in. In fact, they don't seem to have drinks where they blend in any real fruit or vegetables at all, rather they are blending flavored protein powder into water. Spend your money here at your own risk, your enjoyment may differ based on your reasoning for coming to Blend. read more

lovely spot, love the vibes and the energy in here! The cava and drinks are absolutely amazing always and the staff is wonderful. They all seem super close and kinda like a family. Grass fed whey protein! That alone is reason enough to give them a try. Add to that the variety of drinks/flavors, wonderful service, cozy lounge chairs, and lots of seating --you've got a place you're sure to come back to again and again. I took my son for an Açaí bowl and it was quite good. It was large, although it's expensive, so I'm glad they provided and got what we paid for. I got oatmeal, it was literally two bites. It was 8.00 for two bites of oatmeal. Yes, it had PB powder in it, but this was literally a sample size of what you would get anywhere else. Overall, this place is expensive and I'm fine paying a bit more for some things, but I would re evaluate charging so much for oatmeal. The service what great and atmosphere was pleasant. It was mid morning, so not many customers. I do wish you luck and hope you succeed. read more
