This is a late review but I came here a few weeks ago when they had their to go pints for $5 each. I bought two dole whips and one blue raspberry tart. They were so delicious, my family loves them! The cashier gave me recommendation on the blue raspberry tart and was super nice. There is plenty of seatings indoor and outdoor. read more

I ordered their *New* Double Chocolate Froyo with Dulce de leche Froyo, topped with Hershey's Dark Chocolate Chips, Coconut Flakes, Graham Cracker Crumbs, Blue Diamond Almonds, Hersheys Chocolate and Caramel sauce and Cool Whip! It taste similar to s'mores minus the marshmallows, probably the best combination I've had! Did I mention the Double Chocolate is made with Ghirardelli and has no artificial colors or flavors! Order this and thank me later! I would highly recommend this location Support local, especially now when they need our business the most! Been here a couple of times. After devouring sone Mexican food down the street, I was craving something sweet so I dragged my friend here. They have a great selection of fro yo flavors. I'm a huge fannof their vanilla and salted caramel. They also have a great selection of toppings to choose from. I usually go for the crushed kit kats or reeses and the cheesecake bites. Overall, the restaurant is clean, they have seating indoors and outdoors, bathroom was clean and the froyo hit the spot. Employees I've interacted with have always been super friendly and quick. No complaints about this place. When craving froyo, this Menchie's location will be my go to. Also, there is plenty of parking since it's a big shopping area. read more

Overall great, frozen yogurt and toppings. The humongous downfall is the people working in the facility. I was there yesterday, Friday night, and there was a young lady that was extremely rude and non-communicative. I would highly suggest getting people that want to come to work, working at the facility. Highly suggest some customer service training. read more

The yogurt itself is good, although it seems they are often out of flavors when we go. A few disappointing factors: At least twice we have had it happen (most recent was yesterday), when the employees don't know how to apply coupons or gift cards. They have to call someone (manager, owner? Not sure, because there was no communication) while we stand there waiting, while our yogurt is quickly melting. This is frustrating. If you offer gift cards or coupons, please train your employees on how to use them. It would be nice if folks had the ability to sample a flavor without having to locate an employee or wait for the one employee to complete several transactions at the register so we can ask for a sample cup. Also, years ago they had $5 Mondays. Rocklin location still has a $5 day. Hopefully owner will take these things into consideration as there are other great yogurt options in the area, who also have BOGO and coupon days. read more

Literally come here at least 4 times a week with a family of 4, not anymore. Last night my friend and I decided to go. It was 20 min before closing. We had our yogurt and were sitting outside at the table. When the young gal, approached us and demanded we leave, they were closed.! Now, in my opinion she could have easily told us, when we paid. Just to let you know we are closing soon. If you plan on sitting outside we do have to take the furniture in when we close. It would not have soured my taste for this business, nor prompted this review. If you've ever been to Hawaii or Disneyland and have had a DoleWhip, you know what I'm talking about! It's THE best flavor. A bit of Pineapple Soft Serve, some pineapple chunks and shredded coconut... heaven in a paper cup. All that DoleWhip fanfare aside, there's always a great selection of flavors here and ample toppings to choose from. Rarely crowded, so stop in and have a shnack! You won't regret it. My husband and I happen to be in the area and noticed the new sign advertising frozen yogurt. We dropped in to find out that it was their pre-grand opening day. The ladies behind the register were very nice, cheerful and personable. They even let us sample whatever we wanted without watching over us like hawks. Other froyo places like to stand and give the samples to us (I think to restrict the sample consumption). I think I must have tried all ten of the flavors. When we were there, my husband and I sampled the nutella, mocha fudge, strawberry, pineapple, mint chocolate, vanilla and a few others. All very good. They even have freshly made waffle cones! Oh my goodness. Would definitely come back for more! I really appreciate that their products did not have high fructose corn syrup or GMOs either! Their toppings were also on point! Oh, Menchie's! How I love thee!! I'm never moving away from Folsom because of this very froyo spot. Seriously I think there was a time when I went here about 6 times in a single month. Which I have never done with ANY place except work. There's something indescribable about the way they do their froyo. The flavors taste so REAL. It's like eating a creamier, lighter "ice cream." But I don't feel as guilty eating Menchie's. They have an impressive line up of flavors. Then there's an impressive selection of toppings. You seriously can't go wrong! I'm baffled at tonight's encounter at the Folsom Menchie's. Tonight my friend and I left at 840pm to get froyo. We walked in at about 847pm, and they close at 9pm. We paid and then sat outside. You would think the girl, Anna, would've said politely we close in ten minutes and have to bring the patio furniture inside. When in reality, she came outside being abrupt and abrasive - telling my friend and I we need to leave and they're closed, also telling the other's sitting at the table over. Menchie's is my favorite frozen yogurt business in the Folsom area. One of my favorites is the No Sugar Added Vanilla (25 calories per ounce) but not always available. Vanilla and Chocolate swirl is a great option at 35 calories per ounce. Yogurts are made with California milk, plus there are vegan options. Store is clean, hand sanitizer near the yogurt cups, and a tip jar. Started keeping my own spoon and napkin in the car to eliminate some waste. Staff is polite and friendly. Went here after getting pizza. The place inside is nice and clean, but the machines can use a little wiping as there was frozen yogurt leaks everywhere. The sample cups are on a tray which is nice as you grab it and just eat the yogurt. The yogurt selection is great and they have the dole whip which I love. This place was so clean and it was so easy for them to keep things sanitary. They provided gloves while you serve yourself, and all the toppings were in single serving containers, which made it super easy and convenient. I absolutely love this Menchies! I come quite often due to the immaculate flavors, and the scrumptious toppings! The only critique I have towards the store is the no tips; I would absolutely love to be able to give the wonderful workers a tip, however after a chat with one of the girls I found out that they aren't allowed to accept tips because they make above 'minimum wage', I find this a bit unfair to the employees. Allowing a tip jar to be out does nothing but benefit the hard working employees, and encourage gratuity from customers who have awesome experiences! Overall, this Menchies is absolutely magnificent, however the "no tips" is very discouraging to customers who want to leave a little extra for the workers! If management reviews these, I really hope to see an option of tipping next time I stop by! read more

Arrived on 9/2/2019 (Labor Day) with the kids at 11:40AM, to an unlocked and apparently unmanned location. Shortly after we entered the location, a grumpy lady appeared from the back and voiced "we don't open until noon" and ushered us out. Five minutes later, we witnessed another couple experience the same fate. If you're not open for business, keep the door locked. There is no valid reason for the doors to remain open, other than to invite opportunistic crime. I will say there was an 8.5"X11" posting about adjusted hours, but with all the clutter it was lost in a sea of competing messages. read more

Not a whole lot in the fresh fruit area, I'm guessing not a big seller by how small the section was. Customer service was decent but not news worthy. I wish we had a frozen yogurt place in the town I live in but since we don't, I regularly make sure I hit up Menchies every time I'm in the area for my froyo fix. The yogurt is good, but the service was horrible. I was not greeted when I walked in, even though the employees weren't currently helping anyone. I had never been here before, so I had to guess on what to do. Once I gathered my yogurt, the kid at the register stared at me like I should know what to do. He then said "I can take them at the same time." (I had two cups of yogurt.) The register is crowded with stuff, it left little space to place my yogurt while I paid. When I asked for lids, the kid grabbed a cup of lids. I had to reach over the counter to put the lids on myself. Not that it's really that big of a deal, but it just seemed like this kid wanted to do as little as possible to help customers. He didn't even wish me a nice day as I left. The yogurt was pretty good, nothing overly spectacular. I'd rather go across the street to Pinkberry, even if it means waiting in line. At least the employees there care about the customer's experience. Unfortunately these self-serve yogurt shops take away the customer-employee interaction, and these kids aren't learning good customer service skills for future jobs. read more

The price seems more reasonable than the other local places, but I have no idea if that is the truth or if my disappointment-to-price ratio was high with the others :) Even with all the flavors I can't do better than vanilla with Nestle Crunch.
