Every neighborhood needs a yogurt spot and this one doesn't disappoint. Lots of low fat and nonfat froyo options, tons of candy, chocolate and liquid sugar toppings and super friendly owner/customer service. Plenty of indoor seating but I recommend sitting outside on the beautiful stone/mosaic tile tables to people watch near the fountain! Definitely worth a stop if you're in the area! read more

I wish we had a frozen yogurt place in the town I live in but since we don't, I regularly make sure I hit up Menchies every time I'm in the area for my froyo fix. They have a variety of flavors and toppings. My favorites are the tart vanilla and chocolate sherbet mix. It's also self serve with sample cups which is convenient. Clean store. read more

Fro Yo! This place has a great selection of flavors and an even better selection of toppings and sauces. The price seems more reasonable than the other local places, but I have no idea if that is the truth or if my disappointment-to-price ratio was high with the others :) Even with all the flavors I can't do better than vanilla with Nestle Crunch. My kids love the reusable spoons too! read more

So many yogurt flavor options? Nope. On 5/6/19 around 7pm-ish, I got there and my favorites are usually the tart ones, but those two weren't available, so I had to pick something else. But at least three of the other flavors either weren't ready or were out as well. WTH? The one gal working there was either overworked or underpaid which made her not-so-happy. She was constantly going back and forth from the front area to the back area. Meanwhile, there were about six customers all waiting to figure out which flavors were available. It wasn't until I paid that someone else came out to help at the register. She wasn't all that friendly either. I would NOT recommend this yogurt shop. Lacking in flavors and good ol' customer service. read more

Sooooo good! Never have I had such a hard time deciding what flavors to pick, since they were all so delicious and unique. The toppings as well.....many amazing toppings to choose from (I'm looking at you Nutter Butter minis and hot fudge). Definitely rivals Pinkberry in overall taste and quality of yogurt. Plus, it's self-serve yourself, which I prefer. The shop was immaculate, and the staff was very friendly. The girl working the counter was even able to entertain our very busy 3-1/2 year old son while we got our yogurt; not an easy task. Can't wait to go again! read more

Came here after getting pizza and it is definitely a good desert! There is a lot of different flavors of yogurt and a fair amount of toppings as well. I felt like the price was good compared to other yogurt places. Would recommend. read more

Normally this is my favorite, but not tonight! Sunday, 3/18/18 @ 6:30... I went into the store. Normally you get greeted. No big deal, but tonight the girl was more interested in talking with her boyfriend. I went to check out the flavors... Yay, they have salted caramel, my favorite! Oh, machine's empty. I interrupt their conversation, she goes back to check, comes back out and said to wait for 5 and it would be ready. There are 5 more machine's with blinking lights! A large group came in right after me and they interrupt her as well to ask about the coconut, which is another one of the flashing machines. She went back to check, came out with the same response and sat back down with her boyfriend! Still, the other machine's went unattended and all the spill trays were overflowing! Seriously?! I was very disappointed and left. I went to NuYo's and spotted another patron that had done the same! I hope that management and or owner (s) are reading these posts. You have an employee issue that needs your attention! read more

Came to this place at my daughter's urging. Yogurt was good enough, but got to the bottom of my cup and found a some extra protein in the flavor of two ants. Not sure if they were in the sugary toppings or what, but that makes me not want to return. read more

I love frozen yogurt. I am also picky about my frozen yogurt. Menchie's is my favorite frozen yogurt! First, the flavors are unique and delicious. Last night I had m&m milk chocolate flavor and it was made with real m&ms. Other past flavors I've really enjoyed were Reese's peanut butter, toasted marshmallow, and the time where they split Oreo into two flavors: "just the cookie" and "just the creme." Second, everything there is super cute all the time. The logo is cute, there are cute matching logo products like lip gloss and keychains. The inside of the store is cute. It's major cute. I love it. Finally, they're always changing it up in there. Yesterday when we were there, they were celebrating world smile day with balloons and signs. Sometimes their flavors are themed around a new movie that just came out. One time, they were collecting donations for the American Heart Association and giving coupons to the donors. I like how there's always something happening. read more

Got two cups of fro yo here, and paid $18 for it, very very overpriced for just frozen yogurt, like extremely overpriced, and they were out of like most of their flavors, not the greatest place to go. If you have a choice go else where, save your money! read more

Great place for familys. Has a ton of flavors and way more topppings than any other frozen yogurt store in the area. Its clean and colorful and has a friendly staff. Highly recommend read more

Stopped in while traveling through town. Bathroom not open to customers due to COVID-19. We had our 3 yr old grandson with us who had to use a bathroom. Why open if you can not accommodate your customers? Disappointed read more

We have a few options for frozen yogurt here in Folsom and Menchies has moved to the head of the line. They have 12 rotating flavors and I had to go with my favorite Original Tart. They had other fun flavors like banana, cake batter and the like. My flavor had a good consistency and tartness. The fresh fruit was flavorful and the place was crowded but the toppings area was remarkably clean. I appreciated that they put out sample cups but I doubt that will last as the groups in front of us were trying every flavor multiple times. Cmon people have some fro yo etiquette. read more

Always question when a new place, especially a big franchise opens up, and they tally up all kinds of 5 star ratings within a month. They have their way of pumping themselves up as the best thing in town. Skim through the reviews and ask yourself why someone would be 'so happy if they offered water for $1.29'. Really? Tried this place, and it's your run of the mill yogurt shop. Same old, same old sugary flavor after another, and rows of sugar after sugar toppings. Once you skim through the whole 'experience' they try to sell you on, you'll see this place is nothing more than fast food type yogurt store. Shop around and you'll find much better quality product in Folsom. read more

This place has so much variety of flavors of frozen yogurt and so many toppings to choose from. Really enjoyed my visit here. Would definitely recommend it! read more

This place is so cute and I like how they labeled all the toppings. Only thing I wish they had was free water. If you wanted water you'd have to buy it for $1.29. But other than that,it was awesome! Not too pricey either. read more

I am not sure if it was only the time of the day (we went there at around 5pm) but the yogurt melted so quick. In fact, the tip of the swirl, when it first came out was dripping. The flavor was good. Unlike Pinkberry's, I like that this place is self service. I will give this place a second chance and we'll see... read more

Great flavors and great toppings! All the flavors I tried were good: Mango sorbet, strawberry banana, vanilla. The cashier was so friendly. I wish I got her name so that I could put it here. And they had magic she'll chocolate topping. I've been to every frozen yogurt place in Folsom and this is my new favorite place. It's clean and friendly and located in a nice shopping center. They also have cute spoons that my niece and nephew loved. I'll definitely come back and earn my rewards. read more

Great flavors and toppings, and the staff is always friendly! Taste as many flavors as you want . El Dorado County doesn't have a good good yogurt shop. This place is definitely worth the drive down the hill. read more

I'm a fro yo addict, a yogurt connoisseur, and i have tried pretty much every frozen yogurt shop up and down California :) Menchies is my absolute favorite! This location is always clean, they have a HUGE assortment of flavors and you get your own samples (dude i'm way too controlling to have to ask for someone to grab me sample after sample). the yogurt itself, tastes better than a lot of other yogurt shops. It's smooth and not icy or melty. just so delisch. Great assortment of toppings, from health almonds and fresh fruit, to candy, hot fudge, brownies etc, as well as mochi and boba. The price is also very reasonable! Other pros: the bathroom is always clean, the staff is friendly and there is great outdoor seating by a fountain! perfect for a summer evening. read more

I love Menchie's!! Not only are they conveniently located off of Highway 50, but they also offer a very wide variety of soft-serve and topping options! As someone who cannot eat dairy, soy, gluten, or high-fructose corn syrup, the labels for each soft-serve option is very easy to tell if it is safe for me to eat, which helps me make the best decision. Additionally, Menchie's consistently carries Dole Whip (pineapple)!! Such a treat :) The customer service is great, and this has become a family favorite for dessert because we can all get something we love. read more

5/13. I went in at 8pm as I do everyday Monday and the two girls working took pride in their work by one of them cleaning machines and the other ringing up customers. The store was very clean and lively. They both said their name was Lauren which was a funny touch. Great experience with such friendly staff. My family's favorite yogurt shop in town- HIGHLY recommend !! read more

Love this place! Hard to find such creamy, true to flavor fro yo anywhere. Every store I've been in, they need over backwards to answer any questions and you can try anything you want. Great selection. read more

I really love frozen yogurt. This place has definitely become my new favorite place. Went here with my husband on his day off and we really loved it. The flavors were unique. One thing that won me over was the bursting boba. It's like a surprise in your month. Also, all the toppings they even have chocolate covered strawberries. Yum! Next time I come I am going with a plan of layering my yogurt. I always seem to forget that toppings are needed on it. Loved the toasty marshmallow yougurt and the lemon yogurt. I would come back. read more

Awesome! Lots of options and I liked all of them which rarely happens at froyo places. Usually I just find one or two flavors I like, and they have tons of topping and sauces. And the prices are way reasonable to top it off. I will be back! read more

The yogurt was good but I was very unimpressed with their customer service. I asked for help from an employee named Celeste and it took me multiple tries to get her attention, she kept talking to a coworker. She gave me a dirty look as if she was annoyed by me, Then used a rude tone when she spoke to me. I wanted to complain to management but I did not have the time. I will not be returning in the future. read more

My kids favorite place so I have to give it a good review. But in all seriousness, good choice of flavors and toppings. Always are sending out coupons which helps with the price. read more

This is the best yogurt shop in Folsom/Sacramento! The quality of the yogurt is smooth, creamy, and flavorful. Service is always great! We came in late and they are still happy to have us. Thx. The kids and us love this place! read more

Wow!!! Every time I come in, which is often, I am impressed with the Menchie's experience! The store is always so clean and in order(especially the bathrooms!), the staff is very friendly and always puts a smile on my face, the yogurt is delicious, and they have a wonderful array of toppings to choose from. I would recommend Menchie's to anyone looking for more than just yogurt, but a fun experience. Be careful though, you won't want to leave! read more

Really yummy and a decent price. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a FroYo fix!

I went here for the first time yesterday with a friend and it was a lovely experience. They had a lot of flavors to choose from and the toppings were just as plentiful. The cashier was super friendly and the place was really clean. The only downside is that it's kind of small so when it's crowded (which it was) it gets really cramped. There's also limited seating inside; I believe there were only like three tables. There are some outside seating as well, but when it's hot outside it's not so favorable. read more

First visit here love that they have a variety of flavors and toppings I was in frozen yogurt heaven:) definitely recommend!

I'm normally not a big yogurt eater, but I'm addicted to Menchies yogurts. Aside from great tasting, super creamy and fresh yogurts... the staff here are always very friendly, polite and helpful. Folsom has a lot of yogurt stores, but none of them come close to Menchies in taste nor service. Note: they changes their flavors daily and you can try as many as you like. read more

The owner is fantastic! Love the selection of flavors! This is my favorite yogurt place in Folsom.

Only because they claim to be genuine yogurt and their pineapple actually tasted like pineapple; but I prefer pinkberry's flavor. The rest of the yogurt flavor was alright, didn't really make my tastebuds blossom. I would have given them a 4 star if the large cup of yogurt + toppings didn't cost $7+. read more

The only reason to ever come here is........PINEAPPLE DOLE WHIP. What is PINEAPPLE DOLE WHIP you may ask??? Well, it is one of the greatest, amazingest, blow your mind frozen desserts to come out of Hawaii and make it to the mainland. Its fro yo, but made with dole pineapple juice. This is a must have for any frozen dessert lover. The only places I know to ever have this not in Hawaii, is in Bellevue, WA small fro yo spot and in Disney Land CA. When I first saw that it was one of the flavors at Menchies, I want to scream at the top of my lungs, I was just thanking the staff over over for just having it. They mentioned that people will call ahead to find out, people have even just left the store cause they ran out of it. I would be the exact same. Forget any other flavor, don't even try to think about chocolate or anything else, this is all you need. Now that I know this is a frequent flavor, I will become a frequent customer read more
