I heard Baskin Robbins had vegan options, so I decided to check it out. When I went, they had a Nondairy Lemon Sorbet and a Non-dairy Jamoca Chip flavor. But the Jamoca Chip was the only one without a proper tag, it was handwritten and didn't list any ingredients. I asked the employees if it was vegan, but they said they weren't sure and couldn't guarantee it. When I asked if they had the ingredients available, they said no. So I sat down and looked it up online myself. I found the flavor on the official Baskin Robbins website with the full ingredient list. I showed it to them, and they said, "Oh yeah, that's it." Stopped by just before closing to see what kind of sugar free flavors they had. They always have two no sugar added flavors and I got a little scoop to treat myself. The young girl working the counter was so nice and let my try a taste first . She had also just mopped and warned me to please be careful. I appreciated her attitude of professionalism and concern. I've been here so many times over the years, and my experiences have been consistently okay. Most recently, I came in last week to enjoy my birthday scoop. Clearly, I didn't read any of the multiple reviews that mentioned roaches before doing so, but what's done is done. While I've never personally seen a roach inside of this location, I can vouch for the fact that it's never clean. Last time was kind of weird, because the Togo's side of the store was mopped and roped off, while the Baskin Robbins side was still open, with dirty tables and floor. The outside tables are especially dirty. I'm not convinced that they've ever been hosed down. Aside from the refusal to maintain a sanitary environment (which is automatically terrible customer service), the customer service was great. I was greeted right away. The kid was friendly, and my scoop was full. I tried the Spicy 'n Spooky 2, and it was... interesting. White chocolate ghost pepper ice cream with blood orange flakes. It wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Will I come back again? Probably not. The actual pictures of roaches posted by other reviewers really put me off. read more

This place apparently decides arbitrarily if it will honor Boys Scouts camp cards or not. (This was prior to the expiration date, which is 12/31/22). Guess it depends who is working. Just went out for ice cream and we were so disappointed. There weren't any customers and we were served quickly but there was the tiniest amount of hot fudge I have ever seen on our sundaes. The scoops are always small but this was just sad. We realize times are tough but don't rip off the few customers you have. We left a generous tip but really wish we hadn't after seeing how little we got for our money. read more

Don't order a custom cake here I just came to pick up the cake and it was a complete disaster. I had such high hopes of fulfilling my daughters birthday wishes with a her favorite mango ice cream cake and wanted to surprise her with a pug puppy for her birthday and this cake was party of the reveal plans. I'm livid that they ruined such a special day that we put so much thought and planning into. They scraped the picture off of this random family and gave me a plain cake because at that point I couldn't leave without a one - the party was in an hour. I'm beyond disappointed. HUGE HUGE let down. I don't blame the staff that had to deal with me at pickup, they did the best with situation at hand. I do blame the owner who I never got a response back from- Lasitha whom I was in contact with prior. No apology. Nothing. Apparently she only wanted to refund me 10$. By far, the WORST Baskins Robin's service and product. Had ordered and paid for my kids birthday ice cream cake one day before. I show up the next day and they forgot the cake. I had to wait 20 minutes for them to hurriedly "make" and improvise a cake. This messed up our birthday party plans as we had to take the kids to the movies with no cake. The manager Kaitlyn did not offer a discount or anything to alleviate this very upset customer. This improvised cake was a mess and the dough wasn't cooked all the way. I online ordered an ice cream cake for Easter. The picture of the Speckled Egg Cake looked cute. When I picked it up on Saturday, it looked terrible. The decorations were sloppy, writing was awful, it was missing the sprinkles on the grass, had 2 instead of 4 eggs (which weren't even egg-shaped), one side was smaller than the other side, and smaller than expected for $39.99. If I could give a lower star rating I would. If its an important cake go elsewhere cold stones in EDH but not here. i put my order in for custom all icecream cake Monday at 2pm and asked if it would be done by Wendsday morning its for a party and due to religious reasons it must be all ice cream without cake. I was told it would be no problem to come in Wens morning to pick it up for a noon party. Wens come and i show up and i am being told its not done.How long before it can be done? a few hours more time the better it needs to set. well its ten and party is at noon. i still have to get the pizza from a kosher place and the balloons in south Sac..i say okay i'll drive grab the pizza ( pick up time for the pizza was 11 preordered this too) drive there back at its 1 pm im late but i got everything!! ridding high. 31 flavors tells me its not safe to take it too far..they give me a box and ask me to fill it with ice. i displace the folks with soda ( ice and soda are all in the same machine) and a line starts to form behind me. People are getting upset with me because I'm taking all the time to get the ice from the ice machine and now there's no more ice for them...i grab the cake and head back down to the office ( downtown and j street) with cold pizza and this cake resting on a box of ice..no packs nothing but melting ice. i get to the office around 2 and half the folks went back to work the other half ordered sandwiches from Subway. I show up to a party with a melted cake ( see pics) cold pizza ( its been 3 hrs since i picked this up) and a box of ice water leaking into my truck. the rub in all this was the better than you attitude and no personal responsibility to the fubar situation they put me in...the ower emailed me ( after i contacted the corporate office) never said sorry never say anything other than call me and what do I want. I get there is a new owner but you don't have to cut costs on something that doesn't make much profit. Ok, first impression not great. Inside the store, I am greeted by a man and doesn't tell us any recommendations or seasonal specials. Nada. We ask for a mint chocolate chip single scoop and a Cookies and cream. This is what told me. "We are out of those flavors because we messed up our ice cream order." Ok, so you run out of your most popular flavors. Great. Also it's because you messed up the order? Stopped here during my lunch. Thank goodness for Baskin-Robbins for open early; my ice cream craving has been satisfied. Baskin-Robbins has never failed me. I tried their peanut butter cup ice cream and it was delicious. The staff was quick and efficient and very friendly. No issues with parking and plenty of places to sit. If I could give zero stars I would. I pre-ordered an 8x12 cake for my son's birthday party to be picked up a week later on the day of his party. I chose Baskin Robbins because it was less than 1/2 a mile from the party venue. So, in I go, 45 minutes before the party, to pick up the cake. The lady tells me that their cake person is in the hospital, so they don't have any cakes, and that they'd called everyone who had placed an order. Obviously not. She asked to see my receipt, which I show her. She then tells me that they never got my order. Really? They had no problem taking my $50 and I have a party that I need a cake for. Deep breath. She offers one of their pre-made cakes out of the freezer and points to a teeny tiny one that, according to her, is exactly the same. Ahem, no. I ordered a full sheet, 8x12. (Never mind that it was supposed to be cookies and cream and not the sad flavors they happened to have in stock.) She argues that the mini ROUND cake is 8x12 and that it feeds the same number of people. I pull out my receipt again and show her that my "rectangular" cake feeds 16-24 and not 12-16. I also threw in a quick math lesson on the difference between diameter for round objects and length x width for square objects. Anyhow, at that point, I was done. I took the refund and drove straight to Cold Stone where I found two delicious cookies and cream cakes in their freezer. The young lady at the counter even personalized them really quick. They've got an ever evolving selection, and it seems to never sit long enough to have any issues at this location. They also have a bunch of Ice-Cream cakes here, which are always a hit. Stopped by here the other night to redeem a couple of coupons we had. I had a free birthday scoop of ice cream, and my hubby had a coupon for a free pint of ice cream (received for donating blood). Using a child's scoop to make a sundae because milk prices are up? Turnover seems high. Worst is .. Gold medal ribbon ice cream is now so, so bland. Hey owners, if costs are up, raise prices. Or change menu board to reflect regular versus child scoop pricing letting customer choose. Sugar cones also seemed cheapened. My wife and I have been going to Baskin-Robbins at this address for many years and had great service cleanliness and prompt service with a good attitude. Today we went there and the offered a coupon buying a regular size Sunday and getting a second one for $0.99 . Today we got the Sunday she told me it was a smaller scoop because there's a kid scoop it was presented as a regular size Sunday. There service was terrible we had a Togo sandwich that was all so terrible very small the lady had a terrible attitude. I believe they're Indian and it really is no surprise that the people that bought it have no interest in doing business because they are terrible with customers make you feel like it's an imposition to serve you and I will be calling the corporate office because I've noticed many of the same kind of complaints. The store is not that clean and the owner is very rude. They messed up some ladys cake order and as a result they forced us to wait a long time and watch the owner blame the lady for their mistake. Finally during our turn to pay the owner then stepped back in interrupting my simple transaction to deal with the cake issue again, after I was already being rung up. It seriously would have taken less than a minute for me to swipe my card. So entirely unprofessional. Luckily other Baskin Robbins locations are close by because I won't be back. read more

I love their ice cream and their staff is always friendly. I love their ice cream so much that I always order my birthday cakes here. Last year I placed an order online (it has to be 24 hours in advance) and when I came in to pick it up the girl said that she couldn't find my cake and asked me when I ordered it. I told her and she said "oh, our cake maker has been out of town so that's probably why" and I was of course a bit upset, but she said I could choose any of the cakes inside the fridge they had. Luckily they had the exact cake I ordered and I'm thinking it was mine but she probably just didn't know it was placed there or whatever. It didn't have any writing on it though so she offered to frost whatever i wanted on there and she threw in free candles too. Whatever, not a big deal. I got my cake lol.
