I was greeted as I walked in even though there were quite a few other people there. The store was well stocked and I found some of my favorite prepackaged Polar Bear Claws and I chose a few regular candy such as their Bordeaux's. The cost is a little higher than some other candy brands but I think they are the best. read more

Oh my goodness! These are the best chocolates around and I have tried a few around my life time. I normally but the assorted box but last time I had to try their peanut brittle and it was out of this world! Great customer service and who does not love free chocolate samples! read more

My drug of choice! SEE'S Candies milk chocolate Bordeaux and milk chocolate Marshmellow Rocky Road! For my last meal...or at least final dessert:)! Forget Godiva and all those other fancy schmancy chocolatiers. If I am going to splurge on anything,...this is it. Tis the season and all of that. I am feeling like a See's Candy fix right this moment! And my turn to bring Thanksgiving dessert! No pumpkin pie for me. A couple of pounds of pure, unadulterated "love" will make everyone happy. Off to See's I go. New to the area with no idea where See's is exactly. As I'm driving in the general direction, I call See's and the most friendly person answers! Seriously. I can "hear" the smile on her face! Kandice! So with her help I have directions and I'm on my way! See's is following all virus precautions. There is a short line when I arrive. So customers are being appropriately distanced in the small shop. Everyone is wearing masks. Btw, you can order online and do contactless, curbside pick up too. When I am allowed in, there is Kandice greeting and assisting customers (saw her name tag). She practically had my order complete as I had asked her on the phone if this and that were in stock! Yep I was one of the last minute shoppers and showed up just after opening doors on Christmas Eve. The line was already curved around the store with a long wait however was expected. What's also to be expected is how joyful and cheerful most of the shoppers are inside along with the ladies behind the counters who are greeting us and helping us along. Surely being inside a Sees candies store is a joyful occasion surrounded by all the mouth watering and eye pleasing sites! I only needed 2 boxes of the prepackaged chocolates for this visit. One for my Mother in law and one for my Father in law. I couldn't decide which ones to get and love the photos that are displayed above each set of pre wrapped boxes which shows how the boxes are packed inside. Prices seem to go higher and higher however my family have been loyal Sees candies lovers since I was a child back in the 70s and we will surely continue to support this business each year during the holidays, birthdays and celebrations. read more

I love stopping in this See's shop to pick up some of my all time favorite chocolates. The shop is in the Palladio shopping center between Whole Foods and Kirkland. The staff has never missed a beat to offer a free sample and ask folks if they need help. As the standard, the shop has stark white walls and black n white tile floors. It is so clinically clean and immaculate inside. But not devoid of warmth and hospitality. Nice. Plus the staff wear the signature white & black colored dress smocks. Cute. In the shop, you can buy pre packaged chocolates in a variety of sizes, plus order al la carte per piece at the counter. Tons of choices. I forget the price per pound..but 2 California brickle and 2 truffles will set you back about $3.60. Even if you want just 1 or 2 pieces, they don't give any attitudes. No awkwardness. On Friday after some convincing my boyfriend and I came in for an after dinner treat, he knows my weakness and it's dark chocolate lol. I went with the Dark Chocolate Chip Truffle and it was both creamy and chocolatey, yum! I would recommend this location, located in the beautiful Palladio shopping center, they have lots of gift options for all the candy lovers out there and offer free samples as well! Did you know See's Los Angeles candy kitchen was featured in the I Love Lucy episode "Job Switching", one of my personal favorites! Every year for the past 10 plus years I purchase 50 boxes as Christmas gifts for my clients. Over the past couple years the quality has diminished. A box of nuts and chews consists of almonds and hard caramels. What happened to all the other nuts??? Milk chocolates consists of all of the chocolates they can't sell. I'll definitely be switching to Snooks Chocolates in Folsom in the future. read more

To the lady on Thursday 3/4/2021 that was working at the See' candy counter around 3:30 was very rude and vile. My grandson was excited to get a piece of candy and we decided to get a sucker and I was explaining the different flavors and he pulled his mask down to say he wanted the butterscotch one. The lady behind the counter immediately yelled in a very loud stern voice "put your mask back on". He is 4 years old for Gods sake. Hey old lady what about saying in a sweet voice "hey sweetie put your mask back on we don't want people to get sick". This job in customer service is not for her. This is a long overdue review for me. I've been a customer of this location for years and have always been treated with so much courtesy and kindness by the employees. I consider myself a regular and the girls all know my order (always extra butterscotch squares!). The customer service is top notch here and I always look forward to going in. Sees as a company is very close to my heart. I grew up being so excited for holidays and special occasions knowing that we would get an assorted box. I always knew which chocolates to go for as soon as my dad cracked that white and gold lid. "Don't be a cherry picker!" he would say! But I had no choice. I had to be the first to get my beloved chocolate buttercream and butterscotch square before my siblings got a chance! Luckily my parents are more "nuts and chew" types (I prefer soft centers) so I didn't have to worry about them stealing my faves. Now that I'm all grown up I can go anytime I want and get myself an assortment of hand picked goodies...without having to wait until Christmas! It always feels special and never gets old. It is so nostalgic to go to the store, eat the candies and to have everything pretty much the same since I was a little girl. This is one of my favorite places! We came for a special treat recently because it was Mother's Day weekend. There place is cute, small, organized, and straight to the point. I really enjoy how they have the up keep for the appropriate seasons/ occasions, there was Mother's Day packages, and assortments. Currently they have graduation gifts and Father's Day look outs. If you're ever looking for a gift and the person has just about everything, this is a great option! Personally I always feel special when I'm giving something from here. Or if you're like me and have a sweet tooth, stopping in for a small but delicious treat is always a great idea! My suggestions would be to try the dark chocolate one with sprinkles, the peanut butter cup, and or the vanilla fudge. Everything is to die for. You really can't go wrong! See's has always been my favorite chocolate company. I've been going to this particular store lately because the location is so convenient for me. I've been lucky to miss the crowds whenever I go, it's seems when I leave a long line has formed after me. Anyways, the customer service is great. I don't like any of the chews because I don't eat nuts (peanuts, almonds, pistachios, cashews, walnuts peanut butter- you name it- yuck!) I've had this strange aversion to nuts and nut butters since I could chew. Given that many of their candies contain nuts- the sample offered to me often contains nuts. I always state that I dislike nuts and am always offered a non nut candy with a smile. There is one woman here in particular who is just great, she makes the experience such a delight and gives out coupons for the coming month, which I use! A box of See's (custom if you know the person's taste preferences and favorites!) or pre mixed always makes for a great gift. They also wrap each box so beautifully in white and black checkered paper and top it off with a golden bow. How special :-) Best chocolate shop around people! read more

I went in today and the employees made me feel so comfortable and safe. Masks were required, the number of people allowed in the room was limited and hand sanitizer was available. The employees were so kind, patient and welcoming. I always have a great experience when I visit this location! The employees are what make this store truly great. When I visited today, there was a rude and belligerent customer who entered while I was checking out. He tried entering once when the maximum occupancy was already full and when he entered the second time, an employee politely told him that the corporate policy asked that he put his mask over his nose. It should be noted that he was not even wearing a mask, but a bandana and it was barely covering his mouth, his recklessness putting customers and Employees alike at risk. He immediately got angry with her, even though she had done nothing to provoke him and said he wouldn't shop in the store. The reason I finally chose to write a review Is because the employees of sees candies absolutely did not deserve that kind of treatment. They are helpful, welcoming and kind, each and every one of them. Even when this man took out his anger on defenseless workers, they remained amicable and handled the situation with the grace and maturity that customer so clearly lacked. Anyone who visits this store should know that not only are their chocolates amazing, but the employees are above and beyond. They are much of the reason I come back again and again. California brittle for a crunch, milk chocolate Bordeaux for a melt-in-your-mouth sensation, See's has it all! Except for a comfortable ambience...sometimes feels like walking into a laboratory with all the white light and tiled floors. Also, having no music adds to the effect. I would suggest playing some nice background noise to breaks the silence a bit, maybe would relax the customers more and they'll buy more chocolate? WORST SERVICE IVE EVER HAD. First time at this location and I'm never going back! First I had my fiancé wait in the car as I thought I'd be in and out.. WRONG. I waited in line (which is fine) but after I entered the store I was greeted at the door, and stood at the counter for 15 minutes!! No one helped me.. or acknowledge me. Ridiculous.. so I walked out furious. My fiancé really wanted chocolate so he said he would run it and deal with it and THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO HIM, but he actually asked every associate working to help him and no one did! They were too busy wrapping online orders. How about sorry about the customers you have in front of you? Needless to say he walked out as well, this store didn't deserve our service or money. read more
