I am working very close by this store. It's my favorite quick stop by everytime i need urgent sugar treats. i always come here for their various chocolate bars. At world market you can find a lot of cool stuff which's imported from around the World from food to household / decorations / unique gifts. Good place for looking for something new but price's pretty expensive for some products . Staff friendly and helpful. Try not to come at their peak hour from 3-5pm.always long line at cashier.

I think I've been shopping at this World Market for like, twenty years. Time flies... What I love most about this World Market is the selection of international gourmet foods. Irish potato chips, Italian Calabrian peppers, Japanese Kit-Kats, and so much more can all be found here. They also have a decent array of wine and alcohol. They have more flavors of Fever Tree soda than I've seen anywhere else, along with every imaginable flavor of Torani, as well as some other international sodas. If you ever find yourself in need of tiny picnic supplies, World Market is the place to go. I was very impressed by their huge selection of miniature charcuterie. This World Market also carries lots of useful and unique kitchen gadgets, including everything from cute dining plates, to a full range of Lodge cast irons and accessories. Across the store, there is a small but very well-curated selection of furniture, usually consisting of lounging chairs and small sofas, lamps, and home decor. The front corner of the store is kind of a potpourri of gifts and greeting cards. The seasonal selection varies so widely that it's hard to even describe. It's the perfect place to find something unique that you won't be able to find anywhere else. Sometimes, they have really cute jewelry. Sometimes, they have dolls from other parts of the world. The selection is constantly changing. The one thing about this store that can be kind of irritating is the poor price labeling. In the very back of the store, there is a lot of clearance mixed in with full-priced products. It can be hard to tell what's on sale, and what's not. I think this situation could be easily remedied by using a pricing gun to identify the price on each individual product in the clearance area. Overall, I love shopping at World Market, because there is always something new to see, taste, or try.

Dylan and Laura! Just 2 of the many helpful employees.

Along with a smashing inventory that I love, World Market takes customer service very seriously too! And for me that is a win win! I have become a regular shopper at the Folsom location. Tarjay has become a bit boring and World Market is anything but! I do not have the shopping gene as many people do but I could easily wander around this spacious, well laid-out store for hours if time permitted. Always the seasonal decorations, front and center, as you walk through the doors. It is so relaxing to move from the wine/unique food specialty area to trendy home decor/rugs/furniture to pillows of every shape and kind/bath/spa/candles/jewelry/clothes and a long wall of cards for every occasion! However, these are just some of the delights awaiting your shopping pleasure. There is soooo much more! Great sales, curbside pickup and easy online ordering just add to all the positives World Market has to offer. And do not miss their easy to join rewards program. And about that customer service...knowledgeable,professional, helpful and best of all happy employees who take the time to help you with your shopping needs! I have personally encountered the best of the best staff at this Folsom location. Whether on the phone or in person. Today is just another example of A-plus employees! A big thank you to Laura for saving that special pillow until I could drive over to buy it! And Dylan you too for everything! You both made my day! What are u waiting for! Halloween and the holidays are almost here. Come and discover the joy in one- of-a-kind finds from around the world. So much good stuff! Happy shopping!

Over flowing trash is what greets you as you enter the store.

Not the best experience. Customers are greeted by over-flowing trash at the entrance of the store. Didn't feel like I was in Folsom, but in some seedy street corner. I was in a rush and asked an employee where an item was and all she did was point and say "if we had any, it would be somewhere over there." You'd think employees should be aware of the things they sell and at least assist customers in helping them find things. It's pure laziness and bad customer service to simply point and say somewhere over there.

I've been in gas station restrooms nicer than this.. The store is beautiful and love shopping here but there restrooms are awful.

3/2/2019: I used this coupon buying my belated birthday candy.

3/2/2019: Well~I admit, I had candy on my mind . . . Due to the fact, I didn't buy a birthday cake for my February 2019 birthday; CPWM sent me via E-Mail a birthday coupon I may use spending at any of their stores I might visit. Cool~Ok-So, I enter the Folsom store . . . Inspecting isle after isle what might pique my shopping spree using the coupon. I began eyeing on a few furniture pieces but, I noticed dings and dents on each piece. Nyet . . . Not interested buying dings and dented furniture-just not my style. Next! Throw rugs-do I need throw rugs? No~I don't need rugs. Cruisin' through the back of the store . . . I smell the haunting aroma of freshly brewed-COFFEE. There's a small coffee and tea counter located at the last isle: I get a small cup of free coffee-Cool~Next . . . Perusing through the food isles, I noticed the Haribo gummy bears. Ok, I think I'll just get some of the Haribos and that's all I want spending for my birthday coupon.

I picked items up using the curbside pick up. They were quick to bring it out and all of my items were exactly what I wanted.

Still, I would have purchased more glass spice containers providing Home Goods would alert their Buyers purchasing as their high inventory turnover rather than low stock turn rate.

On my last visit, I was on a mission to buy a gift for someone that was not me. Mission accomplished for that. But gosh darn, I failed to walk out with just that. I bought other unattended items. Useful, needed items. The cashiering team was awesome. The cashier I was working with was a trainee. I asked for gift receipts, she worked with another to issue those. She wrapped up the fragile items and bagged them with care. I luv to shop here for kitchen, home decor, and organizational items. Prices are discounted from full retail. The merchandise is on trend. Current Shout Out items: ramen bowl and chopstick kit (Hello Kitty and Sanrio gang, Star Wars, and Night Before Christmas)$8.99. Peanuts (Snoopy and the gang) mugs $6, tumblers $8, and throw blankets $13. Halloween and Autumn decor. Bedside Lamps average $29; they have a larger and diverse selection right now... better than usual.

I was shopping at Lowes the other day and thought I would drop in next door to the Home Consignment…read moreshop to check out their latest inventory. I wasn't needing any "new to me" furniture, decor, or jewelry. But you know how that goes. This place is large in square footage. Stocked with gently previously owned furniture, home decor, and jewelry. The furniture quality is outstanding. The kinds of pieces solidly made not shoddy. The styles range from mid century, cherry wood Asian themed, modern farmhouse, and contemporary. So many styles. The pieces are staged in showroom type setting making everything eye catching, so much so I caught myself mentally doing a home makeup over in my mind. Hubs even found a framed lithograph art print of 1984 Laker Kareem Abdul Jabar by LeRoy Neiman. Then I happened upon the jewelry section. Letting out a big sigh, I luv looking at jewelry. They have beautiful pieces and some high end brands such as Rolex and Piguet watches, Tiffany. My eye was drawn to the vintage art deco jewelry set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) of gold and lapis. Very unique. All the jewelry looked to be in excellent condition. The woman working the counter had a great attitude, so fun and easy to talk with. She entertained my gawking and questions. Not pushy in pressing a sale. Plus she was knowledgeable.

There is also a Fine Jewelery section which you typically do not find at a busines like this. Setup like a department store... you may view the jewelry items under glass. Value? Well, the things I am typically looking for are artificial plants like a cactus for my patio or for an indoor area I am trying to refresh.
