A lot of deals if you're looking for holiday stuff

Kirkland's is a the kind of store that seems like realtors and home builders go to, in order to decorate and stage homes for sale. It wasn't that the decor was bad or ugly-it just gave off ho-hum basic vibes. The store itself was nicely laid out and the staff were very helpful. It simply didn't have items that stood out. Very mediocre. They did have some nice smelling candles at buy one get one free, which was quite the deal. I ended up getting a few fall scents. But otherwise, Kirklands just isn't for me.

I have shopped in many Kirkland's in Sacramento and the San Francisco Bay Area. I enjoyed shipping in most of their stores. But this one in Folsom is a little disappointed. The store looks outstanding every time when I pass by going to the other stores in the shopping center. I always want to check them out. But sometimes I don't have time, and sometimes they close too early. Finally, I'm there! The only lady who works there gives me a pleasant greeting. The store looks good inside when I am standing just inside the front door. However, my feelings about the store keep worsening when I try to find some decoration items for my home. The store is very disorganized, and many unopened boxes all over everywhere. Everything is Jammed packed inside the store. Hard to believe how many items they are trying to load in there. I don't know how to find the stuff I want after a few minutes inside the store. I just wanted to get out of there. I will try to find the items I'm looking at at another Kirkland's in Sacramento.

My first time in a Kirkland's...actually my first time ever hearing of a Kirkland's! It's in the Folsom Mall right by Whole Foods and the big parking garage. It's a home decor store with a country/farmhouse flavor. Prices are reasonable and the staff was friendly. They have furniture - tables, chairs, bookcases. Also decor items like lamps and prints for the walls. Also candles, decorative floral arrangements, etc. I liked a lot of items and will definitely come back when I have a specific need for a piece. It's very on trend with the modern farmhouse vibe. Happy and cheerful.

My first time at Kirklands with my little girl and we loved it. We bought two scarfs for less than $5. What a deal. I love all the home decor. I now have lots of new ideas to decorate my home. Plans are in the making :) We are definite return customers :)

Having never been into Kirkland (no relation to Costco), I was not sure what to expect other than expensive price tags.

The styles range from mid century, cherry wood Asian themed, modern farmhouse, and contemporary. So many styles. The pieces are staged in showroom type setting making everything eye catching, so much so I caught myself mentally doing a home makeup over in my mind. Hubs even found a framed lithograph art print of 1984 Laker Kareem Abdul Jabar by LeRoy Neiman. Then I happened upon the jewelry section. Letting out a big sigh, I luv looking at jewelry. They have beautiful pieces and some high end brands such as Rolex and Piguet watches, Tiffany. My eye was drawn to the vintage art deco jewelry set (necklace, bracelet, and earrings) of gold and lapis. Very unique. All the jewelry looked to be in excellent condition. The woman working the counter had a great attitude, so fun and easy to talk with. She entertained my gawking and questions. Not pushy in pressing a sale. Plus she was knowledgeable.
