I have always been able to find cute little gift items here. They also carry unique Christmas decor items.

One of my favorite parts was how interactive it was for kids. They have a scavenger hunt that keeps them engaged while exploring the museum, which makes it fun for the whole family. My kids loved searching for the clues while checking out all the different aircraft. There are planes both outside and inside the museum, and the exhibits are well laid out so you can take your time walking through everything. It's a great place if you enjoy aviation or just want something different and educational to do with the family. Definitely worth the visit. If you're in the area, I highly recommend checking it out!

There is an outdoor area where the big planes and jets are. The signage is good in describing their uses, names and missions. There is even a section on space travel. The docents are top notch. You can tell they are passionate about what they speak! Take a stroll upstairs to see the flight simulator room, very high tech. There is a gift shop, cafe, plenty of clean bathrooms. Enjoy your flight!

We rode the bus from the school and checked in at the designated field trip area when we arrived. Since there were four classes, they split us into groups, which made everything feel organized and smooth. The kids absolutely loved the hay ride and getting a tour of the farm to see the layout. One child was so excited she almost fell over. Her water bottle fell but she was safe. We then visited the animals and learned about all the amazing things the farm does, which was both fun and educational. After the tour, the kids enjoyed time on the playground and had snacks. There were also shops and places to eat, which was great for families and chaperones. The bathrooms are port-a-potties. They do have hand washing stations. I had never heard of this farm before, but it truly exceeded my expectations. We will definitely be back next year! It was only $5 per child and $15 for parents which wasn't bad.

Having now been several times this past visit was the best. Usually a group of us bowl in the attached Apex center, plus gamble some; but this time was nearly entirely gambling. They have really upgraded the slots and they are awesome. Easy to play, fun and very entertaining. The tables also get a lot of good energy. I had previously played roulette and really had fun. There's also now this free game near the entrance from the hotel... you see how many points you can get by furiously hitting the button and screen for two minutes. It's a hoot. There are free soft drinks and coffee stations which is a very nice perk. The smoke does affect my allergies. I can only stand it for so long. So that's the downside. Downstairs, albeit limited options to play, is smoke-free. I understand they may HOPEFULLY do it upstairs too. Construction is underway so looking forward to new expansion. 3 o'clock is Happy Hour at the Apex bar, very pleasant and enjoyable. Make it a part of your visit. The staff is very friendly. Overall the building is very attractive and nicely designed, and the adjacent hotel looks quite appealing.

The Legion of Honor is located in Lincoln Park and is a component of the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, which also administers the de Young Museum. The Legion of honor is not as big as the de Young Museum, but has a beautiful and exquisite collection of art. We enjoyed seeing the special exhibit of Ancient Italy. The lower level of the museum was the perfect fit for this amazing collection of the Etruscans civilization. There were around 200 examples of bronze and terracotta sculpture, gold jewelry, ceramics, and architectural features, as well as the longest-surviving piece of Etruscan writing. We really enjoyed this exhibit as well as other featured paintings and sculptures, on the main level. There is even a porcelain gallery with pieces from England and Europe, which we enjoyed seeing. They have a really nice gift shop and a cafe. We browsed the gift shop and had lunch at their cafe, which was very good. We would definitely come back to visit again for their next exhibit.
