Ah, another Daiso! Great addition in Rancho Cordova as the next nearest ones are in Natomas and in South Sac near the I-5. For those who aren't in the know, Daiso is a Japanese store with most things being priced at $1.75 (used to be $1.25 a few years back.....times sure have changed). Lots of different types of items here: kitchenware, stationery, gardening, etc. There's also a dedicated section for Japanese snacks, drinks, and candies. As of December, the front of the store has an area of Christmas-themed items (super cute stuff; I ended up getting a Christmas-themed washi tape to help decorate gift tags). Definitely check out this store if you're curious (or if you're like me and haven't been to a Daiso in a long time)! Many goodies that won't hurt your wallet much. :)

Daiso is opening many new stores in the Sacramento area. This one at Rancho Cordova is one of the new stores that opened recently. This Daiso is not very big. Some items were unavailable when I visited the store a couple of weeks ago. The self-checkouts are still not working at the time! The store is brand new, and the employees are very friendly. I like to check out the Diaso stores when I see them. It is nice they have opened this new store in Rancho Cordova.

New to the area and definitely a much needed addition! All kinds of unique snacks and items. Mostly imported from Japan. The store is very clean and well kept. They have all kinds of kitchen equipment as well chopsticks! Small wares and house needs. If ever you're in the area I definitely would stop by!

So much to choose from! Loved their Rilakumma and line friends section. There snack section was also packed to the brim ~ I would definitely try out this location if you haven't already !

On December 23rd, my fiancé brought a cast-iron pot to the counter because it had no tag and simply asked about the price. The employee working that day accused him of removing the tag himself, claimed he had done this before, and said he had been a problem in the past. This was completely false. When my fiancé calmly tried to explain that there must be some confusion, he was asked to leave. Being accused of dishonesty without evidence was upsetting and unacceptable, especially after being loyal customers who supported the store with both purchases and donations. Businesses should value their customers and treat them with basic respect and fairness. Because of this experience, we no longer feel comfortable shopping here, which is a huge bummer. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses how customers are treated. (I never leave reviews)

I read reviews on how Tita has reasonable and affordable prices, and a quick turnaround. I didn't think to ask ahead of time for the price since I've had basic hemming done in past for around $35 by other tailors. After trying on all 5 dresses to measure the length, she tells me the hemming will cost $70-$90 PER DRESS, depending on "how wide the bottom of the dress is." The fabric of all the dresses were chiffon. This price was absurd to me! I purchased each dress for about those prices (Lulus)!! After spending an hour trying on the dresses, I decided to just have her hem just the bridesmaid dress since I needed that one right away, begrudgingly, given the price. Dropped off dress on Tuesday after work, was ready for pick up Friday after work. She did a good job, granted it was a basic hem. I told her $90 was too much and she decided to charge me $80. She was nice but I will not go back to get my dresses hemmed. Moral of the story: call ahead of time for a quote and ask ahead of time for price before trying on dresses. Also, she takes only cash.

However, based on the cleanliness, selection, and overall customer service, the Rancho Cordova location only earns an average 3-star rating from me. Located at the Zinfandel Plaza and tucked in between Olson Dr/Folsom Blvd in the heart of Rancho Cordova, this particular Marshalls neighbors their main competitor, Ross as well as a Target store amongst many other retailers and eateries. As many of you know, Marshalls specializes in a variety of department store items; mens/womens/kids apparel, home furnishings, bath & body products, luggage, jewelry, purses, bedding, housewares, and quite a bit of food/coffee. I see them as a slightly more affordable option than their sister store TJ Maxx. If your focus is more towards items for the home (excluding clothing), HomeGoods has much of the same items (but in a much larger variety) while all being part of the same ownership. Out of the few times I have been here (which is mainly during the weekends), I've noticed quite an abundance of customers at any given time. However, their store isn't quite the cleanest as I've seen several articles of clothing on the floor, fitting rooms that look messy, and as much as this pains me to say this, lack of customer service. Retail brick-and-mortar stores like this don't staff a lot of employees which leads to more complaints about a business than actual compliments. Finally, for the majority of their merchandise being new "name-brand" items, there is only a small handful of brands I am familiar with; mostly Calvin Klein, Nike, Ralph Lauren, and Michael Kors. As of 2025, you can get a complete outfit for under $50 which is a nice shirt/sweater, pants/shorts, flip flops/shoes as well as a pack of tees and socks. I am very happy with their towels, bedding, and bathroom items as their quality holds up quite well. All in all, "Marshalls" is a decent place to save a few bucks but nothing special. Therefore, I am rating their (one and only) Rancho Cordova an average 3-stars.

Meaning that if you're the avid collector of quirky one-of-a-kind treasures, this would be the ideal spot for you to check out. I will say that this location is in a very industrial area of Rancho Cordova as they are directly on Mercantile Dr and tucked in between Trade Center Dr and Folsom Blvd. Parking is as simple as you can imagine since this is a very desolate area surrounded by unmarked warehouses in all directions. I also wanted to say that they do have limited hours only being open Thursday-Sunday from 10am-6pm while being closed Monday-Wednesday. I came here during the afternoon on Saturday 3/7/2026 at around 3:00pm. There were only a few cars parked in front which gave me the impression the majority of those were employees vehicles. Upon entry, I was greeted by a gentleman at the main entrance. I will say that this place is quite huge with aisles and aisles of products that include kitchenware, jewelry, home decor, crafts, books, clothing, crafts, toys, handmade items, furniture, collectibles, dolls, and much more. Just about everything for sale is new and/or near-new with many items that are decades old while being distributed through the vendors. I will say that the prices are definitely on the higher end of the spectrum but as I mentioned, everything is unique and distinctive. Since I already stated the positives, I will tell you some of the negatives. During my visit which was from 3:00-3:45pm, I was literally followed by several employees. I get that they want to completely minimize shoplifters but I could see the staff giving me the stare down in the corner of my eye. This completely tarnished the overall image of my shopping experience as I am someone that doesn't like to be watched when taking my time to shop. Needless to say that I didn't buy anything but just in case you want to visit this business, that was my firsthand experience of what to expect. Finally, if the Rancho Cordova location is too out of the way, Bliss Marketplace also has locations in Midtown Sacramento (27th/R St's) as well as Roseville Square (Douglas/Harding Blvd) with the same hours of operation. They also follow the season/time of year as my visit (which was in early-March) had a lot of Easter and springtime decor. I am sure it gets very festive during the fall and Christmas season. With a nice variety of goods combined with a convenient quiet location but just okay service, I am giving the Rancho Cordova "Bliss Marketplace" an above average four star rating.
