The outlet mall has three sections of shops. They have mostly clothing stores but also an arcade, a toy store, and a couple snack places. There's even a little free library in section B located near the candy store. The main place to go for food is Auntie Annie's which has pretzels. There's a candy store and a cafe too. They also have food trucks. They have a small arcade with a decent selection of games that can be enjoyed by all ages. It's located near the toy store which also has games for children and teenagers to play. The sales here are not as great as they used to be. Some stores will only have good deals certain times of the year such as back to school season. Aeropostale and Vanz sometimes have great deals and clearance prices. I got a dress from Aeropostale about 8 years ago for $11. A few years ago, I got a cute knit sweater for $20. The hot topic store usually only has the bogo 30% sale. The staff in these stores are usually really friendly and helpful. The outlets are located right by the iron point light rail stop. Parking here on weekends can be tricky as the parking lot does fill up. read more

I've been coming to the Folsom premium outlets for the last 18 years. I've never been so sad to write a review. I remember the days or Black Friday sales would have this place so packed It was difficult finding a parking spot. Last minute Christmas shoppers came in droves to grab a deals. The food court was thriving, and there were lines outside of the Nike store so long that you'd consider turning away instead of buying something at a discounted price. I came here actually around Christmas time to do some last minute shopping and it was completely empty. Many stores from before are no longer there and a few privately owned businesses or non-brand stores that were liquidating for lack of sales and traffic. If you're looking for something specific at one of these stores and your hope to just get in and out, this is definitely gonna be your "go to". Seeing the lack of traffic at this outlet around the final weeks in December was really discouraging. I hope they don't close for good. The major impact of competitive online retail giants was evident during our shopping. read more

I visit here all the time. Parking is usually rough. But all in all. It's a nice place to hang out. It's a nice place to get food trucks and visit some shops. It's not bustling most days. But it's still enjoyable. I wish they kept the tables instead of replacing them with benches. It makes it impossible to eat food in areas besides that food corner. I've been coming here ever since it first opened. In it's heyday there were a lot of great finds and clothing that was good quality (like overstock). I went today and it was a joke. The adidas store had tennis shoes that were the same price ($120) in the real adidas store! To make it worse, they were inferior quality, like a stiff, cheap plastic. The Banana Republic store had nothing interesting either. The clothing was wrinkly and I noticed many of the tops and sweaters (in addition to looking like fashion disasters) were piling. I stopped at francesca's outlet store and 2 young teen girls barely acknowledged me and spent their time giggling and talking with one another. They had a buy one item and the other at 30% off however, there was nothing decent on the racks. The only store that was somewhat decent as the Gap Factory. Only because I found a few tops that were on sale. Save your time and money if stopping through on your way to Tahoe. The quality is horrible at the Folsom Outlet and prices aren't that great. read more

Overall good. If you don't mind crowds and taking 15 minutes to look for parking, the prices are reasonable.

The mall looks very run down and old. There are also lots of vacant stores and random small businesses. They really need to remodel and get better stores. Ralph Lauren, Nike and Banana Republic are the only reason I come here. It would be nice to have some more nicer stores to shop at. read more

Parking is not convenient or logically arranged. The center is clean but showing its age. The configuration of the buildings is jumpy, disjointed and doesn't lend to a seamless shopping experience, especially due to the placement of service/delivery corridors. Although there was a security presence, the weird layout lends itself to the potential for issues. The premium tenant mix is decent, but there are also too many unknown low end occupants that are just filling space. Although some of the premium tenants offer obvious price discounts/deals, there are numerous others that don't seem discounted at all or require a full price purchase to get a discount on the second item. Staff at most stores were friendly and helpful, while some merchants showed no interest or an indifferent attitude. My suggestion to the ownership would be to scrape the existing center and build a new well designed, exciting shopping opportunity that offers a destination for a unique tenant mix. With the state of retail today, that possibility seems unlikely. read more

We haven't been here in ages. So bad now and not many good vendors here. It's not even comparable to Vacaville. So sad. Not many places that we would want to come back and shop at. Only places really are Nike, Under Amour, Banana R and Ralph Lauren. they need to revitalize this place and get new stores. Big ones like Bloomingdales, or Saks. I always like coming to this Outlet. It's a nice layout and an easy walk. A lot of the same stores, but it's still fun to look at what they have to offer. All of the employees I talked with were pretty chill and nice. It was earlier in the day with minimal people there, so maybe that's why lol. The prices are still around the same prices you'd find at a regular store in my opinion, so I don't go there to find anything extra cheap. They do have a good selection of items to choose from, so it always a place I'd come to just to get away from the normal mall and change up the pace a bit. I was trying to charge my Tesla but those cars have been sitting there for hours it doesn't take that long to charge your car you get a notification and you move on when it's charged but I had to park on the other side and I was waiting thinking oh you know it shouldn't take that long but nope everybody just sticks their sweet old time hopefully the property management can kind of navigate through the Tesla charging port control it would be nice. read more

We go out to the Folsom Outlet Mall a couple times a year. We always go the day after Christmas. This year, in spite of indications on the center's website, many of the stores were not open. I'd really like to see a more diverse store selection, especially a kitchen and home goods store. There are lots of clothing options, but we couldn't check out some of the smaller boutiques that were closed. But we had some success, and didn't come away empty handed. read more

Great spot for shopping center, its a lot of stores to check out. They don't have Burberry or LV here but still have a lot of store to choose from. There is a a lot of food at cafeteria mostly fast food like Chinese food, burger, pizza, fries, coffee and many more. Lots of empty retail shops I can't remember when but it's been awhile since I've shopped at the Folsom Outlets. Folsom Outlet is an outdoor shopping center and unlike the outlets in Vacaville it's all on one side of the street, you don't have to drive across or cross the street to enjoy a full shopping experience. Many of the stores have left! And what happened to the food court? Closed and completely gone... the outdoor table seating still there... empty from customers and shoppers. Actually, it's kind of sad seeing all the empty units as we headed towards the Nike store including seeing the food court closed. Wait... I did see Auntie Anne's Pretzels and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory somewhere around. There were three food trucks on location today... The Original Bubble Cone, Hefty Gyros and a taco truck. I'm assuming there is a rotating schedule for these food trucks. Folsom Outlet isn't very big. Unlike Vacaville with 97 stores, Folsom has 63. Coach, Kate Spade and Michael Kors are among the designer store outlets that are still operating in Folsom... get carried away with new handbags, crossbodies, and more in your favorite colors and patterns... like in my case today, a pair of sneakers. Anyway, I'm not much into shopping but I just noticed some changes, since the last time I was here they still had stores like Limited Too and Ecko Unltd (that should give you an idea on a timeline). We visited on a Thursday for the first time ever . It is located right off the freeway and has plenty of parking . The stores either close around 7-8 pm so plan ahead to visit earlier. The place has a few good stores - Nike , Kate spade,MK, coach , Adidas, vans , gap but only one eating place ! Auntie Anne's & a chocolate place . There are plenty of vending machines all around with only drinks . It had a decent amount of stores but no food court . It was pretty lonely when we were walking around but all the employees were so kind and helpful. Overall, if you are in the area I would say visit but do not expect a Livermore outlet atmosphere. We still found pretty good deals ! across the street there was a McDonald's and chilis plus a gas station if you get hungry . read more

The Folsom Premium Outlets is one of my favorites weekend shopping locations many years ago. The shopping mall itself is beautiful and the store layout is made the shopping more relaxed and enjoyable! But followed by much bigger outlet malls opened in the San Francisco Bay Area. This outlet mall has fewer people are going to shop there in recent years. Many stores moved or closed. It became fewer choices for me and the other customers. I have hardly come to the Folsom Premium Outlets lately! It seems the management company has brought in more of the better outlet stores to the shopping mall. The shopping in the Folsom Premium Outlets mall has become better. The shopping mall is still very clean and well maintained. I think I'll come back more often and check out the stores here more in the future! I hope they'll keep bringing in more and more good stores here! read more

In a time when in-person shopping is at its lowest, the Folsom "Premium" outlets are still putting up a good fight. You may find a better deal without leaving your seat if you're shopping online, but it's hard to argue against the steep discounts found in this aging outlet mall. I recently revisited them early on a weekday in search of some athletic shoes. They have plenty of brand name stores with big selections here including a Nike, Converse and Adidas store. Sure, shopping online is convenient, but there's something to be said about actually trying clothes on before you buy them. I was able to find a great pair of shoes for 50% off the standard retail price and get out of there before it got too crowded. The downsides are that this place does still get really crowded on weekends and there aren't many options for food, unless you consider the neighboring McDonald's an option or Auntie Anne's pretzels. Take these factors into account and focus on the shopping and you'll likely have a great experience. read more

We all know what we are here for, cheap out of season items at relatively cheap prices compared to visiting the mall counterparts. Folsom premium outlets is located centrally well in just off Folsom Blvd and Iron point road. Lots of places to eat just outside the outlet and bank of Tesla chargers for those lucky Tesla owners. This location has a lot of the major retailors you would expect such as Nike, Coach, GAP, Levi. The location is a bit unorthodox compared to some of the other locations I have been to. The layout is confusing and sometimes I find myself consulting the map to find the store I am looking for. It is a bit more lowkey than you would see at the other norcal outlets such as Vacaville and Livermore but we didn't come here for appearance, only the deals! read more

The area was dead. It was in the afternoon on a weekday. My husband shoe broke so we had to stop and it was the busiest store in there, with three ppl. Went here yesterday instead of the San Francisco Premium Outlets in Livermore just to avoid the hassle of finding parking and squeezing our way through crowds of people. We got here around 130pm. There was plenty of parking and hardly any shoppers -- just how we like it! This location is part of the Simon family as well so a majority of the stores are similar to those in Livermore. We have our select few that we stick to and were pleased to find that they were all here. We didn't have to wait in line to enter the store, and the checkout lanes were fast-moving. This place lacks a food court. There is a taqueria, a kettle corn stand, and some outdoor seating. Other than that, they had food trucks selling Mediterranean food and ice cream parked on the side. If you want to do your shopping somewhere lively, this isn't the place. But if you know what you need to buy, you can knock your list out painlessly. We were happy that we drove out this way and stayed stress-free! read more

Illegal Key Master machines throughout the entire outlet. I was out here with my family to do some holiday shopping. Over by the Nike store there was a machine called key master that had some really expensive shoes in it. My son paid to play it and it took the money but didn't play. We called the number on the machine and didn't get an answer. We later went to Vans and seen the exact same machine over there and paid for that one. The EXACT same thing happened. About a week goes by. Still no reply. I guess Facebook heard me because I get a video about these machines which makes me look further into it. Come to find out, these key master machines are 100% illegal! There were so many lawsuits about this machine it's not even funny. Now I just need to decide what to do from here because now that I know how those machines work, it's a really sleazy way to do business and I can't even imagine how many people have played this "game". Painfully outdated. Honesty walking around felt like going back in time to the 90's. The place definitely could use a update. The stores are pretty run of the mill. There is no food (other than 1 food truck) and not a lot of places to sit and also not much shade either. I don't live near Folsom so I am not able to go shopping here often, but I do try to go once or twice every month. We usually get there later in the day, 6-7pm and spend about 2-3 hrs. It seems like 2-3 hours is just enough time to shop as much as I want in all the stores I want to go in with my family. A very fun place to shop, with friendly staff. I have found the other shoppers to be friendly too. There is an eatery, where you can choose to eat from a variety of places. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Some stores do change from year to year, but there always seems to be a variety of stores such as a candy store, shoe stores, womens and mens clothing stores, kids and teens clothing stores, toy store, jewelry store and kitchen store. The prices are much better then other places you can buy these brands. You can find blouses for as little as $5, t-shirts for as little as $2!
